I’ve been going here about 10 years. For the last 2 or 3 I’ve ordered on line and drove 12 miles to get it. The entire time I’ve been going there I have never had a problem to speak of. Sometimes the toaster is out sometimes the sandwich is not as good as the last one. I’ve talked with the manager at one time or another. I can speak of last night. I had one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The amount of veggies and meat and condiments were perfect. I order mostly on line and give them plenty of time to make it, in case they are real busy. Ordering on line for us is good because there are sales on items all the time. This sandwich shop is clean and the staff are all friendly. I very very seldom eat at any other subway and if I do I compare them to the Grapeland store, very few are as good. Thank you Grapeland Subway. I’ll be back.

This is our home base Subway. We get take out 30-40 times a year from this location. Consistently good. Clean. Friendly and courteous staff. Easy access. Dollar store across the parking lot. A convenient stop with well-maintained restrooms.

With this horrific overheated weather, I can't say anything bad about this Subway. The air conditioning was downright frigid. Plus, the the staff making the sandwiches were friendly and made a fantastic sandwich. Yum yum. Made the second half of a hellishly heated day bearable. Thanks Subway in Grapeland

Absolutely the most friendliest people in town! Great service! They take their time to make sure they get your sandwich (s) right and they place is always clean! My only suggestion is that they keep more cookies out! They never have any chocolate chip ones and they are my favorite!

Always clean tables n bathrooms. Soups sometimes overcooked. But always excellent services with smiles from staff.

Good food but what you see on TV and in pictures is very exaggerated. They probably make 5 sandwiches of what they advertise and what you actually get.

The only reason I did not give subway ( all locations in general ) 5 stars as I believe that almost 10$ for a 6' not including drink is absolutely absorbed considering they are supposed to be known for their 5$ foot longs. If your going to up the price then at least make the 6' $5 but to double your price & cut the sandwhich in 1/2 so makes it NOT worth even eating there considering there are other sandwhich places that offer almost the same for 1/2 your price. Another reason they didn't get 2-3 stars is simply due to the fact that the staff at this location in particular I happen to want to support them having a job...so the staff is the ONLY REASON I go 2-3 times a year to this location. Change your prices & I will start going more time then I can count as well as recommended it as a great quick dinner pick but until you stop bleeding our pockets for your typical picks, flavors & topping/add-on choices that's about as loyal as I will ever get which I can't stress enough is strictly due to the amazing staff

Not the greatest place to get a sandwich

It was a subway. Fairly clean, good bread, mostly fresh veggies. No real complaints, but nothing to write home about.

To the owner/management what is with the big blockaid in front of the meat counter so the customer can no longer see what is being served to them. Also the lettuce was brown and yucky, the spinich was limp and shrivled up. When I asked if they had fresh lettuce the server said no that's how it came off of the truck. Shame on you subway! I will likely not stop at this restaurant again and that is sad because this is a very small town and options are limited.

Well, then come on over to the Grapeland tx location, but hurry those veggies are turning translucent quick pickles, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach! I refuse to go back this is the 2nd time I couldn't get veggies because they looked gross, and why won't they let the customers see the meats area!???? A customer asked, "Do you have cucumbers that aren't frozen?" I watched the guy pick out some "good" ones..... wow imagine the morale these employees 😳 have, I am sure that's not the first time someone mentioned it. No ft long cookie they were still thawing.. Oh, yes and last but not least I watched all that while waiting 5 minutes for meatballs to be cooked in the microwave because, drumroll.... yes they were also frozen. Boo!! Still has frozen veggies... toaster is broken and no bacon atleast they called me to let me know but I'd already paid online.. I put them in the broiler and voilà. Philly cheese steak, buffalo chicken, and all American (minus bacon added extra ham) no toaster.

But still... Anyway, whatever! Second time, out of avocado! Third time, didn't know the difference between heated and toasted, so instead of a heated bun, I got... A toasted one! Annoying but... Whatever! 4th time I came in, no onion... ( My favorite part of the sandwich, I usually ask for a few extra!) But... It was late so... Whatever! This last time, well, it was just last Monday, August 20th, my kids first day at Pre-K, he wanted a tuna sandwich from subway! So, we we're going to celebrate with quick food from the only fast food place in Grapeland! Was ready to get 4 adult footlong sandwiches and one kid sandwich! Nope! I asked for a kids tuna sandwich, they denied me! I asked if they could just charge me extra! They mumbled enough for me to hear them say that they wouldn't know how to charge for that! I asked them if they could just charge for extra meat!? Again, denied! I also asked if they were serious! And they answered with a semi apologetic yeah! You guys lost my business to this store that day! It's the only store I've ever been to where my kid can't get a tuna sandwich that's not a 6 in sub! The highschool students that we're working obviously had no passion for this business! I remember when Subway prided themselves on making sandwich artists, as I, myself am one, having worked at Jason's Deli for a good 5 years! The way I see it, if they can't even cater to my three year old, what makes ya think they could cater to me! It's worth the to drive to Crockett to get some Davy Crockett Bar & Grill! That's what we did and it was amazing! They made my kid the center of attention! I took this picture, called that number, left a message, and haven't heard back!

Kinda like that was all I was going to get. Guess I skipped part where there were more empty containers for selection than full ones
