Yama Tsuki Sushi

One of the most incredible omakase experiences I’ve had. Every piece was well thought out and amazing quality, and I know I’ll be back very soon. I’m so glad to have found Tsuki!

We came for our first time for omakase and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Prices very reasonable. Very high quality. Annie our server was so attentive. We will definitely be back again.

Had an amazing experience @Tsuki Sushi with my family. Chef Tony and the staff provided us with quality food and service. Would definitely recommend, small lunch or big dinner you will not be disappointed.

A friend introduced us to this Sushi restaurant. It's worth a try. The atmosphere is very good. The ingredients are very fresh.

Had a really lovely, well paced, delicious meal here tonight. Bites were well crafted, thoughtfully made, it was wonderful to watch the staff work with such focus and care, and they were all so friendly and personable. We will definitely be heading back.

Sooo good! The Volcano roll was definitely my favorite 😊. I also had their mango margarita which was delicious! Excited to see their speakeasy soon.

This sushi place is one of my favorite places. The food is always so delicious and it is really the best Japanese food I have ever had. In my opinion if you're going somewhere for Japanese, go to Tsuki.

I was absolutely delighted. Our hosts were extremely professional. I manage a high end retail store down the road, and found that at all times we were extremely well taken care of and considered by the waitstaff. We ate at the sushi bar, and had an excellent experience. Went for the Omakase. The chef was an artist and kept us apprised of everything we ate. Any questions we had were answered and we just enjoyed and enjoyed the delicious food. We dropped a bit of money but would gladly do it again for the exceptional dining experience. So happy we went. I recommend the omakase route, so you can really enjoy the artistry up close.

We had many sushi rolls, and each one was better than the previous. You can taste the freshness of the fish in every mouthful. We received timely and kind service, which made us feel at home throughout our dinner.

The peaceful atmosphere of that eatery is superb, giving it the ideal place to savor their wonderful sushi. Every meal we had was a delight, but the Chef's Custom Rolls stood out as particularly tasty and inventive. Our kind and helpful personnel added to the value of our stay.

A wonderful discovery for sushi enthusiasts! We could tell this was a special spot as soon as we came in. It had a laid-back yet elegant air. The menu was incredibly varied, and everything we had was very delicious. large servings as well. Excellent service provided by a very amiable personnel. Very strongly advised!

The ingenuity and diversity of this cuisine really impress me. There is something for every taste, from classic rolls to interesting specialised products. Everything was great, and we sampled a bit of everything. It's obvious that the cooks take delight in what they prepare. The fish is quite fresh as well. I most certainly plan to come back soon.

It's the finest sushi I've tasted in a long time, wow. We were greeted warmly as soon as we came in. There was plenty on the menu to please every palate. Everything we ordered was expertly prepared to the highest standards. Given the quality, prices are reasonable. Undoubtedly a new local favourite.

I relished the freshest sushi I've ever had. Each mouthful exceeded the previous one. The lunch was nice, and everyone was really friendly. From beginning to finish, the dinner service was outstanding.

Wilfredo Hatfield: This restaurant has emerged as my new favourite sushi place in the area. The staff was welcoming and I felt at home right away. At incredibly affordable costs, the menu featured an extensive assortment of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Everything I had was delicious; the rice was cooked to perfection and the fish was incredibly fresh. Fantastic atmosphere and mood as well. I will most definitely return.

What a fabulous find! Went here to meet a friend to celebrate my birthday. Went on a Sunday night. It was quite empty, which was surprising, based on how fabulous this restaurant is. We ordered the omakase and it was fabulous. The fresh was very fish and expertly prepared. The cocktails were fabulous too. To top it all off, they brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle on it to celebrate my birthday. They also gave me a very decent bottle of red wine as a birthday gift. The service was impeccable. More people need to find this place. I very rarely give out 5 stars to an establishment. Highly recommend!

Very nice restaurant, the atmosphere and decoration were impeccable. Incredibly fast service, we never waited more than 5 minutes for our dishes. The food was divine! The fish was firm and flavorful with optimal marbling, very tasty. Definitely recommend the lemonade as well, quite a decadent flavor.

This place is a gem in Greenwich and has become our family’s go-to! The food is genuinely delicious, with a lot of options beyond the fresh and well-prepared sushi. Best crab rangoons I’ve ever had. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for Greenwich, especially considering the high quality. Johan provides incredible service and even remembers your orders from previous visits!

Wish we thought to take Pics before eating. Everything was amazing. It’s the 4th time we’ve either eaten here or had it as take out. Either way, we are so happy we found this Go To Spot. We dropped our other Greenwich sushi options for Yama Tsuki.

Yama Tsuki is a pretty decent sushi bar. The omakase was well done and carefully crafted. The main seating area is pretty busy though.

Our first time and I love it!!! Super nice drinks amazing shushi and the service espectacular Johan was our guy and he treat us amazing!!!! We will be back soon!

Terrific omakase for the price. I think they did a great job conversing with the folks at the bar and on a Sunday night it was a very quiet and intimate atmosphere. I only knocked the stars down one because I called to head to ask if they use real wasabi root and they said yes and then when I got to the restaurant and asked to see it they made some fumblings with their words to try to come up with the idea that they pre-grind it and freeze it so there's no actual root to see which seemed a little bit suspect. They were also trying to sell the concept that the rice and the fish and all the components in the omakase are better than what they serve out in the regular restaurant but they were literally making the sushi for the regular restaurant at the omakase table so I'm not sure if that's actually true or not. Regardless it was good, great service, great atmosphere I would recommend

The Omakase  a dining experience in which the dinner is carefully chosen and crafted by a head sushi chef, who will be in charge of deciding what you eat and how you eat it. It was good but we had to move to a table service instead of seating at then bar due to a very boisterous customer. No respect for where he was or consideration to others. It reminded me of the Omakase episode in the Showtime series Billions. The place would be better served if they changed the decor to more of a Zen/quiet ambiance. I bet, it would enhance the experience and attract more customers.

Good sushi and good chinese selection abit overpriced but it's in greenwhich so expected my problem is with the service it was acceptable but not personable i felt as though we were just another customer they had to service and not want to serve

I visited a restaurant because the reviews were really good, and I also love omakase, but I had a completely different experience from the reviews. The Kumamoto oysters were so bad that I had to rinse my mouth with water with embarrassment, even though they are one of my favorite foods. The second appetizer came out in order and was good, but when the appetizer were over, I had to wait for more than 20 mins for next course to come out. Although I expected the server to apologize, they didn't say anything and just acted as if nothing happened. The dish explanations were also awkward and unprofessional. Sushi were supposed to come out in sets of 5, when we were done with 10 pieces, one piece took so long that it made me lose my appetite. Some of the dishes, like king salmon, were supposed to be torched and served warm, but everything came out once so temperature had changed. Omg the dessert. It was the most surprising. Two sour fruits like lychee were placed on ice and served with one slice of pear. The fruits were sour, and the pear had an odd color, so I only took two bites and left the rest. If you really like omakase, I recommend going to New York. Lately they have lots of omakase places that cost below $50 which will taste better than this place.

Although the food is good, the service is awful. From their website you can choose online orders but the restaurant seems close when you try to submit it. I called the restaurant twice to understand if they would take online orders. First time they confirmed they accept online orders and told me the it would start at 12pm, but it was 12.05pm, and then they told me to wait until 12.30pm, which I did, but the restaurant was still closed for online orders, then I called them a second time at 12.35pm, they said "this is your problem, we don't control the website". I tried to understand how their website shows online order option if the restaurant seems close to that, and the person said: "you have to handle it yourself"! How a business can treat customers like that?! Eventually my kids went there to order in person and the restaurant was empty, not a surprise!

The sushi was not fresh, it had a funny taste We have been before and never had a problem. Something had changed at the restaurant and the quality has gone down. This would explain why the restaurant was empty on a Friday night.

Came here for Valentines Day last year. I will never forget it. It took over an hour after ordering for food to come out. One plate the fish was bad - we barely ate - stopped for other food on way home. Searching again for places for this year and came across 4.8 stars?! That’s insane.

One star is too generous. This place has no idea what they're doing in the kitchen. We ordered the fried rice and sesame chicken – both were a complete disaster. · The fried rice was bland, greasy, and mushy. The rice was clumped together like paste. It tasted like it was microwaved, not stir-fried. Zero wok flavor. · The sesame chicken was even worse. The sauce was unbelievably thick, gloopy, and sickeningly sweet. It coated the soggy chicken like disgusting glue. It was so heavy and artificial-tasting it made me lose my appetite. The chef seems to have no basic cooking skills – no control over texture, sauce consistency, or even simple stir-frying. It feels like they just opened a can of industrial-grade syrup and dumped it on cheap meat. An embarrassing excuse for Chinese food. Never again.

The absolute worst service I’ve ever had. We sat down with zero communication or acknowledgement for over 20 minutes. When I finally got up to ask what was going on, the host seemed annoyed? A few mins later a waitress came up to our table and rudely told us we weren’t in her section and we were lucky she was willing to help us… we should have walked out. Such a shame because the food was pretty great. Never again!
