Frank’s Pizza absolutely blew me away. This was my first time trying it, and from the very first bite I was hooked. The crust is perfectly crisp, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and the sauce has that perfect balance you can’t help but crave again. I’ve literally been back every day since — that’s how good it is. Beyond the amazing food, the staff deserves just as much praise. Everyone I’ve met has been incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. They make you feel like a regular the moment you walk through the door. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the atmosphere hit this level of quality. Frank’s Pizza has definitely earned a permanent spot on my list of favorites. Highly recommend!

Stopped in with my wife and kids while we were exploring downtown on a Sunday afternoon. The food was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was a comfortable place to eat and watch a little football before heading back out on our adventure.

Visiting Houston for a conference, found Frank’s on Google and then it was recommended by an uber driver. Pizza is amazing, you order at the counter and they call you when your pizza is ready! Very casual atmosphere.

Dare I say it... Best pizza in the Houston area? It's probably at least the closest most authentic version of a New York slice anywhere in the area. The environment also totally has the feel of an authentic New York pie shop. The crust especially stood out as being delicious, it must be the Houston tap water. I will definitely be coming back soon absolutely perfect.

Amazinggggg pizza! Boyfriend and I shared a large Margherita that was to die for! I was hoping for leftovers but we stuffed overselves! It is insanely small in there which does make it rather annoying and the line for large pizzas takes up a lot of time. For single slices it seems people were only in there for about 10-15 minutes. Definitely a to go place.

Whatever they said about the pizza, it was true! The best pizza in Houston hands down. It took me three days to eat, I got the XL, but it was good warm or cold. Forgetaboutit!🤌🏼

Pizza is very nice. Delicious pies with One on it. Pretty good prices for a downtown establishment. The atmosphere leaves a little wanting for more, but they make up with great pizza and great beer. And the service was very nice. Five stars.

Dang! We found Frank’s by chance, but I’m so glad we did! We were looking for a place to eat downtown. Then we saw Frank’s. Pizza and Beer. What could be wrong? We walked in and the smell was amazing. The staff was friendly. Then there was the pizza… It was fantastic! I highly recommend going to Frank’s Pizza if you’re ever in downtown Houston

what can i say, the 'za was good! came in with my aunt, and we were greeted by an employee. took our orders quickly and correctly. the pizzas are displayed in a sort of 'pizza buffet', with a glass separating us... and the pizza. we both ordered 2 slices (for each of us) of the "everything on it" pizza... (the name eludes me at the moment, sorry!) and we ordered jarritos brand soda. the employee who opened them for us might've been a trainee, because when he opened it, the bottlecap flew onto the counter. but he opened it, and that's what matters. paper plates. you grab your own napkins, pepper flakes, straws, toothpicks, etc. you seat yourself, and there are several options. a table, the wall, and looking out onto the sidewalk. the seats near the front door are all tall, so watch out. we chose a table near the door, so the chairs were high. so if you're short, or can't get up easily... maybe bring a ladder? (jokes aside, maybe ask for help... seriously.) the ones farther back are all regular chairs and tables. the t.v was playing family guy, and i watched as a couple sat by the window talking. the atmosphere was nice, and the vibes were quite homely! the pizza slice was pretty big, so that was cool. big 'ol fat slice, too. tip: ask for another plate if you're ordering 2, it might not be enough for just one! fresh flavor, didn't taste stale. not hot-out-the-oven - probably because it was already pretty late when we got there - but hot enough! (this doesn’t have anything specific to do with the restaurant, but i got complimented on my shirt here!) overall, great place! selfishly, i wish the employees were a bit nicer, but maybe that's just the old lady in me. it had an old style vibe to it, and i loved it. despite being so close to downtown, it was a calm environment, and the people were pretty chill!

Pizza was a bit thick first slice not too warm pretty thick for NY style Got a cheese steak ok but the roll was bread like more like a hot dog roll like at costco. the young lady was nice but the guy coworker seemed angry? Good spot for a quick slice. A few steps above mall pizza and open late. After a night of drinking, this is probably the best pizza you’ve had in your life. The restaurant itself is kinda small so it can get tight when the crowds show up. But people tend to eat and go so tables open up pretty quick. Or just get it go and eat outside.

*21 September 2025* Visiting from Atlanta. This place is just okay. We ordered the pizza and wings. Nothing mind-blowing about either. I've had better quality pizza and wings elsewhere. We came here around 2 in the morning on Sunday. The line was wrapped down the street. But I will say, this place is satisfying if you've been out drinking all night and need something to nosh on before heading back home. That seemed to be the case when my friend and I went.
