My husband found this hidden gem for a Monday night date night spot. We loved that they had jazz music at eight on Monday nights and despite a rainy evening and me thinking that it would not be as crowded the place got packed. The music was amazing and this bar caters a very simple menu comprising of pizzas. We ended up getting the special which was the chicken Tikka masala pizza and we absolutely loved it. It wasn’t Chicago style or New York style or Neapolitan it was something of its own. The pizza base was thin almost naan like and it was crispy and flavourful. By the time it was 9 pm, the place was at its peak with standing room only. This place also seems to do other fun things during the week so will definitely be back to check it out.

Neighbors in Second Ward is a fantastic spot! The large pepperoni pizza for $24 is a steal—perfectly cheesy with a crispy crust that hits all the right spots. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it an ideal place to grab drinks with friends. The cherry on top? Their comedy night every other Thursday is hilarious and adds such a fun vibe to the place. Highly recommend checking it out for great food, drinks, and a good laugh!

Neighbors is a hidden gem in Houston's Second Ward--a unique space with something for everyone! Open seven days a week, they offer everything from game nights to dance classes, creating an inclusive atmosphere where you can truly be yourself. The bartenders are top-notch, the DJs keep the energy alive, and the vibes are unmatched. Plus, the pizza is amazing, and the Harrisburg is my go-to drink! I gladly drive almost an hour just to experience it all. RNB Game Night is hands down my favorite event at Neighbors, curated by Super Jay The DJ and special guests. It's a vibe every time! The energy is unmatched, the music is always on point, and we always meet the coolest people. Plus, the staff is super friendly, making the experience even better. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!

Ancient Rose Water

Went for a much needed drink and some time to myself…right before Hurricane Beryl hit. Bartenders were very attentive, and friendly, music was nice and atmospheric. The drinks were great, strong, and well made. THAT PIZZA 🍕 THO’ I got one on the house, and had to order another one! When I say this is one of if not, the best slice of pizza in town, I’m not even kidding. A bit Fluffy but crispy bite to the bread, the topping ratio to sauce was perfect & the ingredients were fresh. I take my pizza seriously…this will be my go to for great drinks or lunch/dinner for the family

Stopped in for a slice of pizza while waiting for our light rail train to a ball game. Loved the atmosphere, airy and relaxed. Lots of folks were playing games and the music volume was perfect for conversation. We got slices of prosciutto & pepperoni - they were ready very quickly and were DELICIOUS! The bartenders who took our order were friendly and thoughtful. 10/10 recommend. We will be back!

Neighbors is a great place for great pizza and wine Food: The pizza was excellent. A New York style pizza that gets thin enough in the middle to be slightly crispy. Fresh ingredients, great sauce on the margheritta, awesome pies. Service: Counter service but great service. Couldn't ask for more. Atmosphere: chill with music. A dj sjowed up to play tunes, which was nice but too loud when seated near the stage.

This is a great place to vibe on a Saturday afternoon with a slice of pizza and a glass of Chianti.

Overall: This place is very community focused, and i love it. The different themed days are a hit. The vegan pizza is good. The drinks are okay. Pros: Great fun Cons: Small space Limited parking

The vibe of the place was great. The bar could use a few more bartenders for the amount of people, and better pour ratio. Overall a cool spot. I'll give them another try at a later date.

It was very packed. Street parking. Jazz band was awesome, however if you want a table you need to get there 3 hours in advance. Brought a couple of drinks then left. We will try again.

I stopped by for the first time and ordered a slice of Meat Lovers pizza. I have mixed feelings. My first thought was the pizza slice was so small for $8! The slice box seemed empty. I opened the box and was surprised to see ranch sauce on it! I didn’t see that on the menu - either I overlooked it or just didn’t think my pizza would have it on there. Also, the pizza wasn’t freshly made. It seemed like it had been sitting back there for a while. But, I ate it anyway and it had great flavor! I would definitely return and request a freshly made pizza, no burnt crust and no ranch sauce, or ranch on the side.
