Always crowded, always a wait for a table but worth it for the food and price value. Ordered blooming onion appetizer, prime rib and ribeye. Pros: food was wonderful, both cuts of meat were cooked to perfect medium rare and had great flavor. Baked potatoes were good, salads were fresh and crisp and the rolls....oh the rolls were soft warm pillows of deliciousness. Our server was prompt and polite. Cons: the onion blossom was greasy with a little pool in the bottom of the bowl. There is no appropriate seating for a large party. You can squeeze 6 in a booth but after that they're sticking chairs in aisles.
Arrived to this location new years day, they were busy but the staff was attentative and checked on us timely. The steak was cooked perfect overall had a great experience
We had an amazing experience at Texas Roadhouse! The food was delicious, but what really made the visit special was our server, Gabe. He was so kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly the whole time. We liked him a lot and will definitely be asking for him every time we come back. Thank you, Gabe, for making our visit so enjoyable!
Texas Roadhouse has my favorite bread rolls hands down! Almost as soon as you're seated, these fantastic, hot, fresh, soft, absolute best rolls ever are placed in front of you on your table. I have to have a lot of willpower with these rolls because not only are they incredibly delicious, you can have as many as you want. I usually have the 6 oz Dallas Filet (you can choose the 6 ounce or 8 ounce), but they have different types of steak, chicken, and seafood to chose from. You can even choose the steak that you want them to cook for you from a display case as you walk in. They have wonderful appetizers as well, but when I have had an appetizer, I usually end up taking most of my meal home in a to go box... because you know, the bread. :-) This is a very family friendly restaurant, but you can also choose to sit at the bar if you prefer, and watch one of the televisions while you eat. If it's your birthday and you don't want birthday "attention", be sure to let your waitress know when you get there.... or you can make your family and friends happy and just go with it. There's a free dessert in it for you if you play along. :-) Texas roadhouse has always been one of my favorite GO-TO restaurants, and ironically, one of my favorite TO-GO restaurants as well.
Our server was Josie M she was really great!! She checked up on us without making us feel rushed at all, made sure our food and my drink was on point and drinks were always filled! There’s always something that tends to go wrong when I go and she double checked everything so I didn’t have too! She was amazing would go again just for her!
First time here and definitely coming back! The butter rolls are so good and they provide them with a cinnamon butter on the side. You can see them make fresh rolls and they’re so buttery and warm. Steak was amazing. All the soaked up juices from it!!! mmmmm! The ceaser salad was pretty good. Kind of disappointed for the mac & cheese. It’s boxed but the cheese tasted off. I rather have made it at home wit the box lol. It’s not pricey at all and the customer service is very kind. Our waiter was so polite and sweet and make sure everything was all right. Everyone is so nice. GET THE FRIED PICKLES THERE SO GOOD😩🫶🏻
A nice legendary restaurant famous for their hand-cut steaks, they recognized fall-off-the-bone ribs. They are also famous for their endless and irresistible fresh-baked bread. Unfortunately, this place is located at HWY 6 and 290, is always packed, and full. Very limited parking space. Once you get there, please be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more for your table (usually during weekends). The waiting area is too small. The good thing there is a plenty of peanuts to snack while you wait.
It's always super packed on the weekends. Service is not great. The meat cuts are cooked accurately as ordered, props to the cooks. Really cute waitresses and hostesses.
When you feel pregnant after eating dinner, you know the food was excellent. Great family atmosphere. This place is always packed, that means something is real good & done well. The bread, the bread....gosh I can eat that bread every day without guilt. Our waitress was extremely good, & sociable.
Came to Texas Roadhouse for a late dinner after voting. I had a toddler and a 7-year-old with me, and after a long wait in the voting line we were all hungry and tired. Even though it was late, the customer service was phenomenal. Our server, Ricardo, was patient, friendly, and extremely attentive. Thank you, Ricardo, for the great service!
Food was not bad. The drinks were great. The service was awesome. The atmosphere was so so. Would go again though. Appetizers we got the boneless buffalo wings and the fried pickles. Entrees were the steak loaded w/ ribs and the other was salmon. Sides were sweet potatoe loaded w/ Ceasar salad. Other sides were steak fries and fresh veggies.
I’ve never been quite as impressed with a restaurant’s handling of Valentine’s Day! I expected chaos but it was simple and organized. Getting in was a breeze and all the staff was happy and easygoing! The food was phenomenal as always and our waiter was wonderful! I’d highly recommend ❤️
Great place to eat at. Very busy here for sure. I will suggest do not sit at the tables where you sit right across from your other date. The sitting was not great since we have people coming by you constantly looking at your food and what you are doing. Other than that I had an awesome experience. Food was fresh. Steak, shrimp, and ribs were so mmmmmmm good. The rolls were so great and hot with the sugar butter and cinnamon taste to add to the rolls. Will be back but this time ask for off to the corner sitting. Shoot put me in the corner. I just want to see my man and my food, lol
Want a steak? Go there. Family and kids friendly. Good food, service and good music. We love to bring our son to eat there every his birthday. He love it and the staff came and celebrate his birthday
You know you’re in for some delicious food when you walk through these doors. The staff is always friendly even when it’s packed on a Friday night. I don’t think I’ve ever had a meal I didn’t like here. From the ribeye steak, to the ribs to the fried chicken. And don’t get me started on those rolls. They used to have barrels of peanuts everywhere but understandably they did away with that after the pandemic. They also used to have the wait staff do a line dance from time to time but maybe I’ve just showed up at the wrong time recently. My only complaint is that they aren’t open for lunch. Definitely one of my favorite spots.
There a reason why this place is always packed It’s consistently good quality and beyond reasonably priced. It’s starts with that amazing butter and rolls. We’ve never had drinks, but they look amazing. I tend to get the same thing every time—six ounce sirloin. This time I added grilled shrimp. Sides—salad and fresh veggies. Sometimes I dip veggies in the butter. Wasn’t impressed with shrimp, but my date liked them. He always gets the prime rib and put it up there with any fine dining. Their coke is always perfect. My only complaint is so much white and yellow lettuce in the salad. It’s our go to for a good, inexpensive sure thing meal.
We came here for our Valentine’s dinner date and our waitress was so helpful. She recommended the blooming onion with cheese and brown gravy. It was delicious!!! Our steaks were mouthwatering and cooked perfectly! I love my loaded baked potato and my husband enjoyed his sweet potato. The service was outstanding and ambiance was great for being a Friday night.
Good luck finding a parking space that's not a "to go" spot anywhere near the front door. Seriously... I can't remember if it was 12 or 16 spots that were reserved for "to go." Someone should tell 'em we're done with COVID amd grandma needs a spot that's not three counties over. Great food. Reasonably priced. Great staff. Crap parking.
Going to Roadhouse was my daughter idea, we both was hungry. Our timing was perfect. When we lift there was people waiting to be served. The food was really good. The service was good as well, our first server shift was ending. She told us that someone else will be serving us. Shortly afterwards our new server appeared and announced he would be serving us. I thought that was professional of them. I was impressed with all of that, the idea of personal service. I love it. Taking pride in what you do. That tells me the company is training their employees, and offering a higher level of standards. Go ahead and see for yourself 290/Hwy 6 location. Thank you for great food and outstanding service !
We were here on a Friday evening for a family birthday party. Texas Roadhouse is usually crowded, noisy and fun - and this night was no exception. We were a party of 10, and they don't have tables that big. So they seated us at 2 booths, but next to each other. I had the 6-oz sirloin, medium rare, and it was very good. This is always my go-to steak at TR. Generous portions on the sides; I had a loaded baked potato and a side salad. And of course plenty of their soft bread with their signature sweet cinnamon butter. Everyone at my table had a pint of Shiner Bock on tap. The waitress was friendly, upbeat, and very efficient. It was difficult to hear conversations (it's so noisy in these places!) but our waitress was very professional and got our orders just right. For the amount and quality of food, the prices are very good. It was an enjoyable evening; everyone had fun and enjoyed their generous meals. NOTE: When you go, be prepared for a packed parking lot and restaurant. Texas Roadhouse has always been very popular, and it's easy to see why.
Food is always great here and with great portion sizes! It's always a great vibe but the lighting and crowded seating makes it feel kinda dirty. Also the parking is abysmal and the waiting area is too small since you're called in and still have to wait around elbow to elbow.
It’s hard not to give 5 stars, I have to give 4 stars. So first off this location is super packed, which is pretty obvious but that’s not what bothered me at all. So if you come here before 4 PM or before, the dinner rush, it’s still gonna be packed. So please be patient. It’s not their fault. it’s just very popular!! But our wait was only like 15 minutes. Where we sat was super clean, so that wasn’t a problem at all. The service was super kind and very attentive and helped with choosing between the sides. My steak was delicious. I enjoyed my sweet potato and they were kind enough to give me a new side item when the green beans just weren’t my thing. Just to let you know the green beans here with a little bit of bacon taste like beanie weenies or something and that’s just not my flavor. They brought me out a Caesar salad, which was delicious; cold and crispy. So what wasn’t good? It was the margarita. I don’t really drink at all but once in a while, I will get a margarita Cuz the monthly one is usually pretty cool like chilies does or when they have a cool special like $5 margaritas I will try it. I don’t know who made this margarita but it just wasn’t good. Despite the ice, it was still warm, the flavor just didn’t taste good. It was a mango margarita. I wanted a rim of tajin on it and I don’t think the person knows how to do that correctly. Next time, I think I will try whatever the most popular flavor is, which is probably the lime one I’m sure.
Our first time at this location. I think it all depends on the time you visit the restaurant. It was kind of cold when we're in there even though we wasn't seated by the window. Foods and service were above average. Prime rib is delicious and definitely meets my expectation. Overall the experience is great.
Hey y’all. First let me say that I love TRH & I have been plenty of times prior to this night. However, this night I visited was great until the bill came. I had a question about a few chargers that I have NEVER seen on my bill before. The money is NOT the problem. The attitude, tone, body language and side comments of the manager, Jackie, were the problem. For context I ordered the steak medallions with peppercorn sauce & a baked potato with butter. While ordering my waitress asked me what else I wanted on my baked potato and I answer and said “bacon bits.” My guest ordered steak skewers along with a a LOADED baked potato. After I viewed the bill details and ask my waitress about the extra charges, she said she would get the manager. I did not ask for the manager nor did my guest. I asked my waitress about the extra charges for the bacon bits on my baked potato and the cheese & bacon bits on my guest’s loaded baked potato. After my waitress told us she would get the manager, the manager, Jackie, came to our booth. I reiterated my question that I had previously asked my waitress. Jackie was irritated right away. She rolled her eyes and said “she charged you for what you asked for” and I replied “I asked for a baked potato and she (the waitress) asked me what I wanted on it, I didn’t know there would be an extra charge for that, I thought those things already came on it. Jackie huffed and puffed and bucked her wide, waved me off and proceeded to converse with my guest about the extra charges. Taken aback, I sat quietly and listened to the two. Jackie started making very strange facial expressions which gave off the impression that she was angry and getting more irritated. My guest, who is hard of hearing and wears a hearing aid, asked Jackie to repeat something and Jackie condescendingly repeated what she say in a very slow, loud and rude tone. She rolled her eyes and said “I’ve never had someone ask me these kinds of questions before.” I told her “I’m not trying to be difficult. I’m just trying to understand.” Jackie again rolled her eyes and huffed. She said “okay I’ll just remove the charges.” I tried to tell her the money isn’t the issues I just wanted to understand the pricing. However, she just kept walking off. She came back and tossed the new receipt down and walked away again. I paid the bill via the Ziosk, tipped my waitress and left. Jackie does not need to be a manager because her attitude is horrible. She needs better people skills. You never know what someone has going on or is going through. Like I stated previously, my guest is hard dog heating and wears a hearing aid. After asking Jackie to repeat herself, my guest felt very uncomfortable by the way Jackie spoke to them. I will definitely be contacting cooperate concerning this experience. It was completely unacceptable and very unprofessional.
Service was top notch and food was just as good as it always is. However this location has started a policy where the busboy clean the table but if large dishes are left they put them back on the table so, yes they pit dirty plates back on a dirty table. It looks horrible and probably isn't the most sanitary idea. Honestly they need a better system! Also they allow lots of guest to gather around the host stand making it hard to enter and exit which is probably a fire hazard. Hopefully someone sees this review and takes a look into their processes. Food is good but location needs help.
I came here for a pre-birthday early dinner with my wife. We came around 3pm and it wasn't too bad and we got seated soon. The waitress was nice and attentive. The food was good. We got potato cheese wedges as an appetizer. Our main courses were good. My only grip is that I asked for medium well and I got medium instead. I didn't want to send it back cuz we already had waited a Lil while so I just ate it. Other than that the whole experience was good.
I will usually enjoy the Texas roadhouses I visit from state to state, however, I will say the service here was good. The meal came out prompt, my cup of chili was lukewarm at Best. As I sat at the bar, I noticed fruit flies kind of flying around made me a bit concerned. I will say the steaks could definitely use a little bit more seasoning to give them some flavor. Undecided if I will revisit again.
Delicious!!! We all ordered from the Early Dine menu, and we each got the 6 oz sirloin LOL. It came with 2 sides and only for $12!! So worth it. I got Caesar salad and steak fries as my side. So yummy!! Service was great, but the only downside regarding the food was that we all ordered our steak medium but it all came out differently. One sirloin was more plump and undercooked than the other, but it’s fine since we just traded each other out of preference. Next time I will definitely try the other entrees!!
First time trying this place after seeing them around forever. Pretty much no seasoning on the steak, quality of cut was mediocre, no green onion for the potato. Service was friendly but inconsistent. Atmosphere was comfy. 4 stars because I feel this is what is expected in this price range.
Very cool place was very crowded with a lot of people though but the food was good 😅 very disappointed in the macaroni what my bacon cheeseburger was good and so will the rolls 🥐 very good without butter but really good with it 😋 am I Shirley Temple Sprite was nice could have been better but yeah since I don't drink alcohol it was perfect 😊 ❤ me and my mom and my two sisters really enjoyed ourselves exactly wasn't able to finish the food that's fool before the main course 😅 but still satisfied! Things are expensive nowadays...
Unfortunately the last few times I’ve came to this location hasn’t been the best… I placed an online order for a medium rare steak and it came more medium and wasn’t as flavorful as other times… it was also very tender and hard to take bites of. they also gave us the wrong butter as we asked for regular not the sweet version.. over all 7/10 but I hope to try again in the future and it will be better.
The food is good; actually, better than one might expect, but still not a 5. I personally don't care for the semi-loud atmosphere, but I'm sure it's fine for the majority. Parking was easy. They always have PLENTY of business...no chance of going under. Steaks are always cooked as requested. Overall, I think you'll enjoy it.
I met friends for dinner and ordered the 6 oz Dallas filet, cooked a perfect medium rare, it was tender and well seasoned. The loaded baked potato didn't seem to have butter or salt and the fresh vegetables were under cooked and unseasoned. The blooming onion was tasty, the rolls and cinnamon-honey butter were a delight, and my friends also seemed to enjoy their meals. The service was decent, but the music was fairly loud. The atmosphere is already pretty loud, so it's definitely not a place to go to have a quiet conversation. The parking lot is quite large, but a spot was hard to come by at 5:45pm on a Thursday. They will not seat you unless your whole party is present, so keep that in mind.
I would say it's not as baby friendly as I would hope. They ask you to leave your stroller and place the car seat in a very wobbly sling. I didn't like that nor that they tried to squeeze a large group of large people into their booths. On to the food, my meat is was tender but everything was really salty. My guy enjoyed his burger. My mom ordered a medium steak but it was very much rare. The server was ok and did her best to accommodate
Update: Manager Cld wanting us to try it again- Perhaps this place is NOT for me.. The smell of Sewer was not present on 5/26 at 5:30, we sat past the bar, right on the other side of the bar booths. That booth was for the size of regular people, or a 10 yr old.. Lol. Tight fit for dinner! EXTREMELY TIGHT... Not sure why the hostess would sit two larger individuals, in this two-seater booth that was cramped! I wanted to say something, however he doesn't like me to bring attention to some things. We took advantage of the check in via phone, before leaving the house... GREAT experience with this perk (Great thinking Dave). Bad Margarita-After the second one, I switched to ice tea. Bartender and Black Russian for Dave did not even fill a short glass. We tried the jalapeno stuffed cheese balls. Not sure if the greasiness was from the cheese itself, or from the fryer since we've never had them before. They always have great salads, David had the Caesar, it was gone before I took a picture of it. Dave loved his steak smothered (onions/mushrooms) I'm still in search for a good chicken fried steak, in town. Nice tender steak, not too much batter. The cream gravy is always too salty for me. This time I ordered extra cream gravy, as well as some brown gravy.. I was pleasantly surprised with the brown gravy, perhaps I should have gotten this to begin with, if I go back, definitely I'll be having my chicken fried steak with brown gravy and I've never eaten it that way. We have learned to ask for regular butter instead of their signature butter because of the sweetness, we felt something was still sweet on this day, but never before while using regular butter. Chris G. gave us great service.. The row we sat on leads right into the kitchen, this was a very busy section.. Very crowded, high traffic area on this night! Last day of school and they don't have enough seating for them to sit together, 4 people sitting in their booth, with 1 or 2 standing in the isle conversing in such a small area. They apparently were spread out through at least two sections. Again, Chris was a great waiter. Update Above - Sat at the bar while waiting for a seat, the horrible smell coming from the bar area is of sewer. We mentioned the smell, that it smells like garbage, the bartender let us know that it was a sewer backup and they were trying to get somebody to it. This is not our first time to smell that at this restaurants. It sounds like it's an ongoing issue that needs to be rectified as soon as possible. Perhaps someone needs to call the County on this recurring issue.
Ordered kids meals for the kiddos and was quite disappointed. Server let me know items were just tossed in bag when he handed it to me instead of taking it back and placing them in two bags. Ranch and ketchup everywhere. Bag torn and some food items scattered in bag. Will not be going back.
It's loud, crowded, and the lighting is harsh. Service at the bar was ok. Vanessa did a great job. I ordered a 24oz rib eye steak medium rare. The meat came out barely seared and purple in the middle still. Rare was not even the steaks doneness. Lots of fat and extremely chewy due to the undercooked preparation and delivery. I'm very disappointed in them.
I came here with a party of 8 on a Monday evening. It was still busy, so it took a little while for the food to come out. I don't usually mind a wait, but our server wasn't really checking in with us and wasn't refilling our drinks. After we got our food, our dirty dishes and empty glasses weren't being bussed. This not great when you have 4 children at a dinner table. I had to ask for the dirty dishes to get taken away. The food was great however, and the bread was fresh. Instant, not a bad experience, but not great.
So I haven't been to Texas Roadhouse in over 10 years, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered catfish, baked sweet potato, and rice. My sweet potato had none of the toppings I requested. The catfish, man, the catfish was a disappointment. It was thin, overcooked, dry, and crispy! Honestly, I thought they were fillets, not fish strips. The rice was the best part of my meal honestly. My son had the 12oz. New York strip and he thought it was pretty good. Unfortunately, they didn't provide steak sauce for the steak and no ketchup for the fries. I wouldn't think I would need to ask for those condiments. I also ordered the blooming onion and fried pickles. The onion was pretty good and the fried pickles were soft, but the taste was okay. Lastly, I ordered extra rolls. They were cold and looked old, which was a disappointment. There was no butter brushed on the rolls as advertised. Was not worth the $62 spent.
The food was super delicious, it was my favorite place to eat on weekends until today, this time I had a bad experience with the waitress who served us, terrible service. Apparently he didn't like to serve us.
Quite disappointed with our dinner at Texas Roadhouse. My boyfriend and I went in expecting a good steak night, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered the 11oz sirloin medium well with a Caesar salad. The salad came out drenched in dressing — the lettuce was soggy and warm. When I cut into my steak, it was much closer to rare than medium well. The server kindly took it back, and the manager brought it out again and asked me to cut into it to make sure it was right. From the cut I could already tell it felt tough. After tasting it, it was dry and chewy — clearly overcooked this time. I only managed two bites before asking for a to-go box. Overall, very disappointed with the quality of the food during this visit.
To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to share feedback about a disappointing experience during our recent visit to Texas Roadhouse. We checked in and were told the wait would be 20–30 minutes and that we’d receive a text when our table was ready. After waiting outside for 37 minutes with no message, we decided to go inside to check on the status. We were then told we had missed our turn because our name was called inside the restaurant—which contradicts the initial instruction that we’d be notified by text. We explained this and even showed that we never received a text. At that point, we were told we would be called again soon. We waited inside near the host stand, only to be passed over again. This time, we were told we hadn’t checked in—even though we had already spoken to staff and had been clearly waiting right next to the check-in desk. Christina, who was working at the desk, seemed more frustrated than apologetic about the confusion and offered no real sense of accountability for the situation. After another 15-minute wait, we were finally seated. Thankfully, our waitress Kinzie was wonderful—attentive, kind, and professional. She was truly the saving grace of the experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. Our steak came out undercooked, even though we had specifically ordered medium well. Jules came over to “fix” the issue and offered a minimal discount, which essentially seemed to just remove the gratuity. We’ve been loyal guests and have had good experiences in the past, but this was by far the worst we’ve had at your restaurant. From poor communication and unprofessional handling at the front to food quality issues, this visit was a major letdown. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it’s frustrating to feel overlooked and undervalued as a customer.
When the greeter found out I was a single individual, she recommended the bar but that I needed to avoid the tables in the bar. The bar was full so went back and asked to be seated. Seated quickly. Took a few minutes for my server to come to the table. The fresh buns and butter are always delicious. Ordered the mushroom chicken with a side cesar salad. Food was good.
4 of us went early on a Friday night when it was moderately crowded, 2 of us ordered the filet - medium, and both were rare. Couldn't really enjoy it but decided not to send it back and just pop it in the microwave for left overs. Baked potato was dry and they charge for cheese, and $2 if you want it "loaded". Our waitress was sweet and quick but seemed too busy to be super attentive. We'll be back but maybe not on a Friday night.
I have gone here several times and the food is usually wonderfully consistent. Not this day, I asked for a 14oz prime rib cooked medium rare. The ONLY way to eat a prime rib or stake. Anyway the 1st attempt was closer to medium well 🤦the 2nd attempt was medium well 🤢 the third attempt was medium, the manager said they didnt have any MR cuts. I was given a 12 discount, however getting it wrong 3 times and NOT having a cut i ordered should have been on the house. The tea/lemonade mix was not good, they use minute maid from the soda machine. Other than that it was good.
I have been coming to this location for at least 15 years until now. I loved it, the staff is great, food is good for a fast dinner chain restaurant. However today I see they now have posted a 30.06 sign. Granted, where it's posted may not be enforceable as most people enter from the side, which I have been doing for years. So honestly, I have no idea how long it's been there, although I did ask and it's newish. I respect business's that don't want someone open carrying (30.07), however, for those of us who are trained or licensed to carry concealed, that's an issue for me. I personally refuse to dine anywhere that won't allow me to protect my family or myself if the situation arrises by someone else. It's all about choices, and sadly I will take my business elsewhere that doesn't restrict that for me. Last time I checked, this is Texas and this choice doesn't necessarily reflect that of our state values. Might be time to change the name from Texas Roadhouse to something else. Really disappointed here. I am in a group text with 16 other close friends in our area and we all frequently go there. I asked if they were aware and one out of 16 was, and said he already stopped going. Rant over.
The food portions are small, and the quality is on the lower end. However the complimentary bread and butter were great, honestly the best part of the meal. This location is insanely busy on a Saturday. And the wait times make you wish you had brought a bag lunch to eat while waiting. Other days if the week aren't as bad. Service is mediocre, the staff is not friendly and are monotone, but they get the job done. Parking is also very limited, and the restaurant next door will tow unauthorized cars that aren't their customers. Not sure what the hype is about this place but I wouldn't recommend.
First off the server was amazing once I got her. I made online waiting list reservation for 1 person that said 10 to 20 minute wait. I get there checked in online with hostess. I waited another 20 minutes and a another solo person that had no waiting list and came in 7 minutes after somehow got a table before me. Then finally had hostess walk me to table only to her surprise it already had been taken and take me back to front for another 5 minutes without explaining what happend. Complete mess and then was served the coldest chili I've ever had. Then brought microwaved chili and somehow cheese still won't melt but turns into plastic curls. They had to have changed some products because this cheese was so nasty. Server was so ice but meal was already ruined and wanted to leave immediately. (Photo is chilling heated up again at home to beyond hot and cheese still won't melt) disgusting
Ordered take out yesterday, I normally don’t have any issues with them but yesterday I ordered the prime rib and the meat was bad. The meat had an unpleasant smell and was tough, smelled spoiled. I had to throw the whole thing away and that meal is not cheap. I could not believe it because I usually order prime rib every time I go
Went for dinner my burger was cold… and when I say cold I mean the meat was cold (like it has been cooked 2 hrs prior and just left out in the fridge) and the bun was cold cold too!! The fries were cold (again like they’ve been cooked and sitting on top of a frier for hours) not fresh at all. Service was great, loud music.
I have ordered pick up from this location numerous times but the last 2 experiences have been very disappointing. I ordered a medium rare ribeye and both times came out overly well done. See photo for context. In addition to that, the wait time was roughly 15 minutes longer than usually and I ordered on the app ahead of time. I am hoping this gets resolved soon because I do love eating here.
Not a pleasant experience. Went out to celebrate an early Father’s Day dinner. Adrian our waiter was nice at first. Then seemed to be superrrr rushed and hardly stopped at our table. Brought my husband unsweet tea instead of sweet tea a few times and had to wait for him to come check on us to let him know the drink was wrong. Ordered a medium well sirloin and it was undercooked. Asked to send it back, the cook charred half of it and the other half didn’t look touched at all. Still super pink. Not sure if the cooks aren’t trained to what each level of steak is but it seems to be a common mistake at this location. Probably will drive further out next time to avoid coming back to this location. Only offered a $10 discount smh
Ive had some bad experiences at restaurants before but this one was on another level. We sent back 2 orders of steaks. Waited close to 30min only for them to return with the same steaks but burnt and still raw. I asked the waiter if they were seriously giving me these pieces and he just left the plate. Went to go get a "manager" that never showed up to my table after waiting 15 minutes. Good to see that they don't care because i dont care to ever come back to any texas roadhouse. Paid what was on my bill and left.
First off we were told our table was ready and still waiting another 30 minutes in a crowded lobby with employees almost stepping on my year old which I can get past but then we were sat in the bar area and the waiter (can’t remember his name, I don’t think he even told us) got our drink order wrong and then forgot about it for 15 minutes within the first 30 minutes we had multiple issues so I called a manager over to see if we can switch sections or get a new waiter because this one was not doing his job (still never let us order food) the manager also never gave us his name but he was a short man in a blue shirt who came over and told us that he wasn’t going to change anything because that was “his best server” then the kids meals came out because we ordered them first and the steak was undercooked which I never said anything about and didn’t complain just accepted it but my 2 year old started to eat the ribs and they were bright pink and RAW even multiple employees in the kitchen told me that they were raw the same manager came out to my table and told me that they were not raw, that he PERSONALLY cooked them for 12 hours which was a 100% lie they were RAW I told him I did not want them because I was not feeding my toddler RAW PORK he then told me I was a liar and I come in ALL THE TIME to cause problems I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS LOCATION!!!! He is a liar I have only ever gone to the Texas Roadhouse on Katy freeway NEVER THIS LOCATION I don’t know if he thought I was somebody else or if he’s just a straight up LIAR or what type of problem he came to work with but he kept telling me he’s not taking it back because they’re not raw he eventually did after an argument and then a burger my little brother ordered earlier came out and it was WTONG the manager refused to accept that there was an issue would not let me talk to anyone else and made out night very upsetting he should not be working here if he can’t separate her personal frustrations from his work and should definitely not be a manager if this is how he handles things Edit: servers name was Ricky
I LOVE me some Texas Roadhouse!!!! But this location ruined it for me. Besides the poor customer service the place was dirty. My girlfriends steak was extremely undercooked so we asked for a properly cooked one. We watched the waitress take it back to the kitchen where the cook picked it up off the plate with his bare hand and put it back on the grill where he was cooking other people’s steaks 🤯. A steak that had already been bitten into, sitting on someone’s table, getting breathed on and everything. Thrown back to cook with other peoples food. I was shocked. Then the manager shrugged it off and said that’s what they always do. She saw no issue with it. And as a side note, they were out of control with the salt. On EVERYTHING.
This place is horrible. Don't bother. Got take out picked it up. Called because they forgot my sides and to let them know we're going back. They left me on hold for 16 min till they closed. I hung up because my husband was able to go back and get inside. Horrible service. he only got in because people were leaving.
My wife and I stopped here for an early dinner on the way back to College Station today. We eat at this location occasionally. After ordering our drinks, the waiter dropped a few drinks on his tray as he was serving them to the table behind me. The problem was that he dropped 1-2 full drinks ON ME. The back of my shirt was soaked because of this event. I sighed, and then I stood up and told the server that he dropped the drinks on ME. He seemed surprised. He offered me a towel and walked off. As I started to dry my shirt off with his towel, I realized it was one of the dirty towels used to wipe the tables. When my wife returned from the bathroom, I told her we were leaving. She seemed surprised, and she had not eaten in several hours and was starving. Our food order had not yet been taken, but I wasn't going to sit there the entire time, soaked. I went and asked for the manager. A manager soon appeared. I explained to him what happened, and that we were leaving. The waiter was there too, and he stated he had already apologized. I explained that I heard this, and I understood it was an accident. I was calm the entire time (my wife even said to me that I was extraordinary calm). He stated he had our two iced teas and was coming to take our food order right then. I explained that I was not going to sit and wait for the order and then eat (which would probably be 45 min total) while soaking wet. I explained that we were from out of town (so, it isn't like I could go home, change, and then return). I mentioned that we were leaving and that I planned to go to my car and remove my shirt... And, I had a jacket there to put on and wear for the drive. But, the food venue was too hot to sit inside and wear a jacket, so we were going to leave. When nothing else was said by the manager - I mentioned to the manager that I didn't expect to get a ton of free stuff, but given what had happened and that we come to this location on occasion, I would appreciate if he could do something for our time and this entire event. None of this was my fault, and we were going to be spending over $50 for a meal. My wife was starving, and now we were leaving without a meal. He stared at me blankly 4 or 5 seconds, said something to someone else, and then I heard someone else say something about a free appetizer card. The manager then walked off. I waited a few minutes, but the manager did not return. The waiter offered us drinks to go. I agreed, and he went and got 1 ice tea in a foam cup. He returned with it, but the manager had not returned yet. I then mentioned the appetizer thing to the waiter. So, he opened up some small folder and gave me a card for a free appetizer. We then left. I changed in the parking lot, and we had to go to a fast food place to get my wife something to eat before we made the 80 minute drive back to College Station. We had went to the museum earlier that day, and were looking forward to a meal together before the long drive home. I totally get that this was an accident, but I have had managers at other food locations handle much lesser situations WAY better than the way this was handled. Just my 2 cents...
Waitress was excellent but my problem is the FALSE Advertisement on this search and on the picture of the restaurant. It shows a Steak & Shrimp Special for $10.99 so we went there only to find out it's really for $18.99. The manager was not willing to honor that price or even take something off as a way of satisfying a customer. Other than that, I recommend going there.
So sad how this place has changed. I literally just walked out the door. Only myself to be seated. No room at the bar table so asked to be sat at any of the MANY open bar tables but was told none was available.Ok fine. Supposed to be a 10 to 15 wait. Kinda of ridiculous for 1 person not to be seated within minutes but I accept the wait. 24 mins later I walk out the door still not been seated. This is the second time that I have done this. I guess this will be the last. Just went to Chuys. 10 mins from walking in the door, my food is on the table.
I placed an order for curb side pick up and was handed my food and the lady left . Didn’t not wait for anything or for us to see if ever was ok. I called the restaurant and no one answered. I staff delivering someone else order so I mention I was missing items. She then came over and I told her what I was missing and she went inside and she brought out missing item just as shown in picture. This is completely not acceptable. Do better Texas Road house!!
We ordered a t-bone around 830pm. This might be the worst steak I ever had. I get that a t-bone be a bit tricky to cook but what they gave us was unacceptable.
This was my first time coming here, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The place is extremely overhyped. I placed a curbside order and waited over 30 minutes, only to go inside and see a group of employees standing around talking and ignoring customers. When I got home, the Coke I received was awful. it didn’t taste like Coke at all, just sweetened water with color. The steak was also overcooked; I ordered it medium, but it was so tough I could barely bite into it. Tried calling and no one even answers. Overall, this experience was a complete waste of time and money. I definitely will not be returning.
Ordered dinner here two days ago, I chose the pick up time for 6:15. My husband wasn’t going to get there until 6:15 because he’s coming in from the Rice area and he was picking up our dinner on the way home. At 5:58 I’m receiving text messages saying that the to go team can’t find our car and that my order is ready for pick up. I continue to receive these messages between 5:58-6:13pm. Again. Put the pick up time for 6:15. As soon as I receive the first message I begin calling worried for our dinner as I know for a fact it won’t be another 25 minutes until we get to actually eat it. My husband arrived at exactly 6:14 to pick up our dinner and at this point i’d been in the phone for 15 minutes trying to get a hold of someone to speak to to see how my food was being handled given it was ready far earlier than we’d requested. I get through to someone, explain my situation and they tell me that they’re gonna transfer me over to the Togo area so I say thank you and end up waiting on hold for another 5-10 minutes. I hang up and try again at this point. I’m continuously calling. My husband gets home at 6:25, after we open the food, we realize everything is ice cold at this point except for the rolls which are lukewarm. I finally get ahold of someone after trying for 30 minutes and immediately ask to speak to the manager. I speak to the girl over the phone who I explain my issue to, i’m 6 months pregnant and hungry. My dinner is ruined, my husband has been working since 5am and is exhausted, and her response was to take down my info and someone would get back to me. It’s now been 48 hours and not a soul has reached out. $50 for our dinner to have to microwave what can be salvaged, then for my instruction to include regular butter (3 unfilled containers of cinnamon butter for 12 rolls) which was listed twice on the receipt to be ignored, and for half an hour of trying to get through to them on a tuesday and still nothing has been done. This is incredibly disappointing and i’m very rightly frustrated.
Normally always have good service here but did not with my take out order the other day. I was not greeted by anyone when I walked in the to go area, even though there was a worker standing in that area. She was tying some butter in a bag and checking two orders on the shelf but never spoke to me or acknowledged me. I waited five minutes, then she walked away. I grabbed my bag off the shelf rather than wait for her to come back & continue to waste my time. Attached is a picture of my salad as it was provided to me that is less than half full. In today's economy, it is still important to service to go orders correctly. Just because I didn't eat inside doesn't mean I deserve sub par service.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Jose the manager is rude and incompetent. Just left the establishment with my mother for lunch. To start, my meal was prepared incorrectly, I did not complain because it happens. Once it was bought back out, I asked for A1 sauce (for a second time), Jose claimed they no longer carry it, however as soon as our server, Brittney, came back she stated they do, they just have to pour it in the back. As a manager, how would you not know that? Then once the bill came, I asked if they offer law enforcement discounts, Brittney said they do, so I provided her my badge. A couple of minutes later she comes back stating her manager said they only provide it for customers in uniform. I explained to her I don’t wear a uniform, so asked to speak to the manager. As Jose approached the table his demeanor was already off-putting. I explained to him I don’t wear a uniform but I do have my badge. He dismissively said “I’m not going to give you a discount” after making an excuse that’s it’s really for military. At this point it’s not about the discount but the principle and piss poor customer service, picking and choosing when you want to allow certain services is an interesting way to run a business. I will never spend my money/support this location again.
We were enjoying a decent meal and friendly service until a cockroach crawled up on our steak (see attached photo). Felt so disgusted we just paid on the tablet and left immediately without speaking to anyone. Unfortunately when it comes to roaches, where theres one, theres many more hidden.
My family and I suffered a major loss last October. We lost our mother. Today we traveled to be in one city and state to honor her on her birthday. We decided to all come here to her favorite spot to have a steak dinner (her favorite) and to tip an extreme amount. She loved to be a blessing. We were refused the accommodations of a party of 9. They wanted us to squeeze in a both while there were many open tables. While we tried to bond together, this location ruined the sentiment entirely! We will never come back!
I was served a basically raw burger when I asked for it cooked medium. It was then taken back, and I got what I thought was a new burger, only to realize it was the same burger reheated on a new bun (it still had my bite marks from when I bit into the raw burger). The rest of the food was not good either. The best part of my meal was the bread.
Very disappointing experience. I ordered my steak well done and it was brought out raw, with visible blood. That is unacceptable and also a health concern. I informed the staff, but the experience was already ruined. You expect quality and proper service at a place like this, and unfortunately that was not the case today. I hope they improve their kitchen control and service, because this is not something that makes you want to return or recommend the restaurant.
The front desk greeting is an absolute joke, I was greeted by Gabby, who was rude short and could care less about wait times. She said 20-30 minutes. After 30 minutes I approached and she said we are still not ready then laughed with other inexperienced and unprofessional, untrained staff. I asked for the manager Tyler who got me a seat right away and apologized. Then was met by Jose the “shift manager” he didn’t seem too interested in rectifying my concern. He didn’t even apologize for the lousy greeting and wait times. The only highlight was Rylee she was amazing, and went above and beyond with her service skills she’s a natural.
One of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. When we politely mentioned that the meat was not cooked correctly, the server reacted with a tantrum and made us feel very uncomfortable. He abruptly said “give me the plate,” without any professionalism or apology. When the manager came over, we explained that we never received the margaritas we ordered, and his only response was “ok,” with no effort to resolve the issue. Very poor service and attitude overall. Just look how empty my margarita is…
Never had an issue here before. Our waitress was awesome! She came to check up on us often to make sure we were good. Everything was great actually BUT the real only issue was the manager. He came over to our table to greet us meanwhile I had asked him if they could bring more sauce for out appetizer. He didn’t respond at all, no “yea will bring yall some more definitely” nothing at all not even ok. I then asked again and he finally responded but saying “I heard you” with a tone like an attitude. If I would’ve gotten a response the first time I wouldn’t have asked a second time! The old me would’ve cussed him out and set him straight for talking to me like that in front of my family! I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what. Do better next time and respond the first time atleast. Show some kind of respect and not let the customer feel ignored. Food was good and our server as well
I’m extremely disappointed with this Texas Roadhouse location. I came with my friends for a simple dinner and when we tried to order drinks, both my valid Mexican passport and my friend’s Honduras ID were refused. The server told us they “can’t sell alcohol unless it’s a Texas ID,” which is completely incorrect. I actually HAVE my TABC certification, and nowhere in the course or state law does it say foreign passports aren’t acceptable. In fact, TABC does NOT require an ID to be American , the only requirement is that it’s government-issued and verifies age, which ours did!! So trying to blame TABC for their own store policy was honestly frustrating and misleading. It felt unprofessional, embarrassing, and honestly unfair especially in a city like Houston where international visitors and residents are common. A valid, unexpired passport is one of the most official forms of identification you can present. This wasn’t a legal issue. It wasn’t a TABC issue. It was simply a lack of training and a made-up store rule. Texas Roadhouse really needs to educate their staff on proper ID procedures, because turning away adults with valid government IDs and trying to blame it on “the law” is not acceptable And just to prove a point we went next door to Mamacita’s and they accepted my passport with zero issue. Got great service and good drinks.
Very disappointed in this restaurant. My wife and I were seated at a table and my wife noticed that the table was wet and ask for a napkin to dry the table. After the waiter cleaned the table and went to get our drinks my wife felt water dripping from the ceiling. We asked for our waiter and asked him to move us. We were more to on the adjacent table. While we were waiting on our order. Our order came and we started to eat the water from the ceiling started to leak more and the water was splashing off the top of the wall that separates the tables. We asked for the manager. As we waited on the manager we moved to the edge of the table so that or food didn’t get wet from the water leaking. We got more than half way through our dinner and the manager showed up. We told him that we were already moved due to the leaking ceiling and now the ceiling started to leaking and our food is getting wet from the water from the ceiling. First of all the mangers never apologies for the issues and he said he will be back to address the issue. The manager never returned. We finally asked for our waiter and told him we needed the check and we are not enjoying our meal and the manager never returned. The waiter never offered to go get the manager but he did offer a drink to go. So apparently he and the manager wanted us to leave and we had to pay for food we never finish. We noticed while all of this going on they seated another customer in the table that we get moved from originally. After a few minutes later they asked to be moved because they had water leaking on them. You would think that the manager would shut down that table since it was getting away from the ceiling. I think the manager needs to more training on customer service. We will never go back to that restaurant.
We joined the wait list for 2 at around 7. It said 20 to 30 minutes. We got to the restaurant. Waited for 40+ minutes. They sat us at the table and, on the way to the restroom, my companion sees that there are about 15 empty tables. And still a long line of people waiting to be seated, with a wait list announced of 30-40 minutes now. Our waiter was sweet, she was great, I asked her to tell the kitchen to please get me a steak without gristle because the last time it was not edible. Ordered a house salad and a cup of chili for my 2 sides. My friend ordered just a bowl of chili, as he was already losing his appetite. After about 15 minutes I get my salad and my cup of chili, from a female server (not our waiter, server number 1). My friend gets nothing. I start eating my salad, while we wait for the entrees. After another 15 minutes they bring my friend's bowl of chili and my steak. They usually ask you to cut it in half to make sure that it's cooked right but not tonight. The server (not our waiter, server number 2) leaves quickly without saying anything and me... I've done this a few times so I cut my steak and, well, if you look at the attached picture you can still hear the cow's thoughts... I brought it up. The waiter came to check and she opened her eyes wide and said "oh... Wow". I said "Yeah. It's almost raw inside". They took it back to cook it a bit longer. The manager shows up and asks us how is everything going and I inform him that not good, that the service is terrible tonight. I ask him who is responsible and he asks me "what do you mean?"... Seriously, this is the manager? We tell him about our experience and he tells us that "they reduce stuff later in the evening" and this is about 8pm. With a wait time of 30-40 minutes on a Tuesday. A few minutes later another new server (server number 3, not our waiter) shows up with my re-cooked steak, better cooked now, and with a bowl of corn. I told them that I didn't order any corn. She asks me if I want to keep it and I tell her that no, I cannot eat corn due to a medical condition. We won't come back to this place. To whoever is in charge of this place needs to hire and train better management. Empty tables don't make money and if you have empty tables and a wait list of 30-40 minutes on a Tuesday YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG...
