This place was definitely amazing I was trying to figure out what I wanted to eat then a gentleman asked me if I wanted to taste test a piece of brisket so I had to buy me two sandwiches great service and the workers were nice and friendly they even had their own type of BBQ sauce the brisket was juicy and tender

The food baked potato the bbq is great! The place is clean and a great environment! However golden earrings with the crosses isn’t friendly and its distasteful him being on his cell phone in public view especially in a food to hand etc environment. This is bad health wise and bad for a buiness in the public eye. Also as a employer your paid to work not be on your phone. But its not my company but saying.

Definitely eat here! Our potatoes were delicious, and the sides were decent. The banana pudding was not homemade, but it was okay. Mac-n-cheese, green beans, baked beans, and roasted corn were lightly seasoned, so I think that would appeal to a lot of people. As far as the potatoes, we agreed that fresh chives would take it up a notch. We will eat here again!

The drive back home caused for a stop for gas and a light bite to eat. Texas Best Smokehouse definitely made the stop worthy. From the harmonizing of the Mom & Pop country singing duo, the guy and lady at the barbecue station along with the cleanliness of the store and restrooms. My sliced brisket with a sampling of smoked turkey sammich *used when it's so damn good* was so moist, tender, and flavorful. Y'all this was a stop to be repeated each trip down 35E in Italy, Texas.

The ribs are so full of meat that when I tried to pick one up, it started falling off the bone. Not just tender but heavy with meat as well. I'm not really a rib person, just wanted to try them but I'd put them at 8/10. I got the mild BBQ sauce because I'm not a fan of spicy BBQ sauce. It's pretty good. Not the best. Probably a 7/10. I also got half a pound of pulled pork and shredded brisket. The brisket was terrible. 1/10 in my opinion. Maybe I just got a bad batch. Tasted like burn wood. The pulled pork was pretty good though. 7/10. If I want ribs, I'll definitely be coming here again. I would have got banana pudding but, like most places in this world, their banana pudding is 60% whipped cream. I hate whipped cream. Why does every place put so much? I want banana pudding. Not whipped cream with a hint of banana cream. Why does every place put so much whip cream in banana pudding. Madness I say. Madness. /rant

The jalapeno beans are amazing. The mac and cheese is good. I do not recommend the ribs. They are all bones, hardly any meat.

I love the chain. Miss the greens . At this location, this & a drink for $18.99 ... I've been here twice and both times same treatment and small portions. Not a fan of this location in Italy TX

My experience was not the best. While I didn't finish my meal, I did appreciate the quality of the mac and cheese side dish. Unfortunately, the meat was pretty dry and lacked flavor. It can be disappointing when the star of the meal falls short of expectations. That being said, the mac and cheese was well-made and offered some comfort during an otherwise underwhelming meal.

Here's an idea "Texas BEST," Maybe start telling the truth when you say you're open. I made a stop here specifically for y'all and you're not even open despite saying you are here on Google. I understand you were closed because of the weather, but how difficult is it to just update your hours listing? I could have stopped anywhere on 35 but I picked here cuz I wanted YOUR BBQ and you're not even here.

$18.49 honestly feel robbed. They were out of everything I wanted so I ended up getting this and it's just barely any food. When he said "would you like anything else, that will be 18.49" I should've left and let them keep the food because this is sad.
