Went to get ice cream on a hot day and Dairy Queen did not disappoint! We got the Oreo Brookie and it was DELISH!!!!
It was great , Especially the taco’s . I’m visiting from Suffolk Va. And our Dairy Queen doesn’t have any tacos on their menu. I would love to see them add them . And the lady that served us was truly an asset to the company. She was super nice and very helpful. Thank you, for your kind service. . Auzie Goodrich ,3528 Sleepy Hole Rd. Suffolk Va. 23435 .
Best Dairy Queen ever!! The staff is totally awesome n run a tight ship! The food is great n temperature is hot n food pretty fresh!! Thank you ladies!!
I took my kids here for lunch and to get an ice cream. We had a good experience. The staff greeted us when we walked in, and our other was taken. We picked a table in the corner but didn't have a lot to choose from because several tables were dirty and had crumbs on the table and seats. Overall, it was a good experience and we enjoyed our food.
My first time I went to this Dairy Queen and I was not disappointed. I had ordered a dipped strawberry cheesecake blizzard and received a chocolate chip cookie dough but I didn’t realize until I had gotten home. When I went back told them when I was there and that I didn’t have a receipt(because I was never given one) and Jocelyn simply looked up my order and saw that what I had told them was correct and made me the correct blizzard. This is the best customer service I have received at a fast food place in a very long time, she didn’t complain or tell me she couldn’t help me, she stopped what she was doing and attended to what I was asking.
We were served an amazing gentleman named Kurt. He not only took my families order with the biggest smile on his face but he made sure they got exactly what they wanted. He hand delivered our entire ice cream order as they were ready. Thank you Kurt for making my family’s night out extra special.
I brought my family of 6 here tonight for a treat and DQ definitely delivered! It was empty when we arrived but just as quickly filled up with family after family arriving to this establishment to enjoy blizzards, chocolate dipped ice-cream and dinner. My wife and I had burgers which were delicious the kids had the country fried tender baskets and tacos and nachos for the table to sample. The cherry on top was not actually a fruit but the customer service Red, a employee was incredibly helpful and made sure we had napkins, sauce etc, everyone from front 9f house to the cooks were pleasant and we will return to this location for those very people. Job well done and hats off to you all.
We went through the drive through. Our order was taken in a very friendly & accurate manner. The burger orders were only missing the mustard we asked for. The food was delicious, just like Dairy Queen is supposed to taste like! This was our first time to this location. I haven't eaten at any Dairy Queens in years due to the general funkiness most have become. We will definitely be back to this location agian. Hell yeah guys y'all killed it! 🤤
Your typical Dairy Queen. This place is typically clean inside. On this visit they were lacking lids and straws at the drink station. The service by the cashier was excellent and friendly. The burgers and fries were good. The kids liked their chicken finger basket. The real reason to come here is to get ice cream desserts.
I don't usually go to this DQ for food, just late night runs for a cold treat. Anytime I get a blizzard, it's just half the flavor, while the bottom half is vanilla. Like honestly what? It's really disappointing not just once or twice but at least 3 or 4 blizzards have been this way. And then I order a choco brownie extreme blizzard which I've ordered for years at other DQs and this one is just the chunks in vanilla instead of chocolate... I come after 8pm, but I don't know if it's laziness or what. Speaker service is OK and the guy in the window is pretty nice
I normally don't do bad reviews, but this DQ disappointed me. 1st off, the service was bad. An associate behind the kitchen had an attitude when told that we were given the wrong order. She rudely told my wife to give her the burger when she already had it. 2nd, I took my grandson to the bathroom and saw a worker using the urinal. He flushed it and didn't bother to wash his hands. 3rd, I ordered 2 blizzards and 3 sundaes. They did not even bring the ice cream nor inform us they were ready. Our Blizzards looked like milkshakes. SO DISSAPOINTED!!!!!
I went to this Dairy Queen today with my three boys, all very excited for ice cream. I chose the drive-thru because it’s the easiest option for me as a mother, especially since one of my sons is autistic and can become overwhelmed, and another was asleep in the car. When I pulled into the drive-thru, I waited a while before anyone spoke on the intercom (there were no other cars in line). Eventually, a gentleman came on and said the drive-thru was not working. I said okay and parked, even though it meant waking my sleeping son and bringing my autistic child inside while he was stimming, which is exactly why I try to use drive-thrus whenever possible. Once inside, I noticed the same employee wearing a headset, laughing and talking with a family. He then walked behind the counter and took an order for someone who was clearly in the drive-thru. At that point, it was obvious the drive-thru was working. That was extremely upsetting. If the drive-thru had simply been used when I was there, I could have been in and out quickly without having to unload all my children. Being told it wasn’t working, only to see it actively being used, felt dismissive. I understand everyone has busy days, but for parents especially those with special needs children, small things like this make a big difference. I hope management addresses this so other families don’t have the same experience.
The man at the drive thru speaker had no professionalism, one of my 3 meals was not customized correctly, and 2 out of 3 blizzard treats were not even what I ordered. Safe to say I won’t be back.
I’ve received the most worst service at 10:32pm Who ever works this shift from. 5-10 or whatever shifts may work he is disrespectful unwilling and could be the cause of sales plummeting from the location specifically I was pleading with the man the said his name was Dillion and he said they close at 10:30 and I went back and forth with the guy until I realized if he doesn’t care about state a omission And tell me that they close at 10:30 they probably if given an opportunity spit in my food or contaminate my food cause I demanded to be served and I feel as though no one should beg to spend 10 dollars on two regular 4 something dollar jalitos coming directly off from work serving customers (meaning myself) until we officially closed so I’m baffled by the preposterous nature of them denying service to me. when on the website on Google and on Apple Maps shows they are still open and says closing soon so I drove to the grand parkway location right no Gillian there but better quicker service and I’m gonna grand parkway Dairy Queen it . Goodnight and stay firm on principle no matter who you are.
Been going to Dairy Queen’s for years and this is the first time I had a bad experience. Young lady with glasses and black hair took my order, she looked like she didn’t want to be there since she took my order. When she handed my Blizzard, it was the wrong one. I mentioned that it tasted a little funny, not what I usually get. The employee responded, “Not trying to be a JERK but, I’m pretty sure you ordered a different Blizzard.” I smiled and clarified that I had ordered a Strawberry Cheesecake with Chocolate, but she turned around looking mad and remade it with an attitude, and the second one ended up so watery I just threw it away. It wasn’t worth going back to argue, but I hope management can provide some additional customer service training. A little kindness goes a long way.
Walked in and there were multiple employees standing around in the kitchen and no customers in the store or in the drink-thru. Stood at the counter for a a minute or two with employees in the kitchen looking at me and not saying a word, so I walked out and went to Culver’s.
I went here specifically for the new Dr Pepper BBQ burger. It was absolutely horrific! It tasted utterly disgusting! I couldn't even finish eating it, it was soooo bad. It not only tasted bad, but everything about it was gross. The burger was soggy and super greasy! This experience was a perfect reminder of why I don't go to DQ anymore...
Got two small blizzards and when I was given them they were already all melted, didn’t make it to my house and I live 6 minutes away. Got home and just threw them away.
There were ants crawling all over the table. I asked to speak to the manager, she didn't apologize and just told me " their sugar ants, no one is supposed to sit there, someone took off the sign". Then went back to work like normal. My burger wasn't fresh and they ran out of chicken to add to the taco salad. Finally, my burger wasn't fresh but we left because of the bugs. I took pictures and wasted $43
I tried to place an order over the phone and the manager wouldn’t allow me to. I asked for an explanation, because I never’d had this problem before and I always call it in because I’m usually in my semi. The lady hung the phone up in my face after I asked for GM information. The team in photo initiated it all. Once i arrived to the restaurant The manager wouldn’t come to the window and talk as I tried to place an order at the drive through window the same guy (Zach) told me I needed it to be in a car. I explained that I was in a 18-wheeler and that’s was the reason I tried placing an order over the phone. His next excuse was they had no food, but a took an order from a car at the speaker behind me. I asked for the GM info they lied to me. I asked for the on shift members name he claimed their names was Jeniffer and Zach. He also said the manager couldn’t come speak with me because she was gone for the night, after relating countless messages for her. However I could hear speaking in the background loud and clear. After I told him I could hear her he no longer came to the window he sent another employee. This was the first time I witnessed poor service as it was this particular night.
I've been to this location a few times and it's been hit or miss. This time around I'm for sure over this location. We went through the drive-thu around 6:40ish-pm. We got 3 Triple Chocolate Brownies and a Banana Split. The brownies were not at all warmed and were still frozen/solid from the fridge plus there was barely any ice cream or fudge (in fact, they used chocolate chip chunks ment for Blizzards and not hardening fudge for the ice cream) on the plates. Now for the Banana Split, there was no ice cream whatsoever, just mainly whipped cream and bananas. We rather just drive the extra 15 minutes to go to the Mason location. Staff needs to be (re)trained on how to make the items on the menu as they also seemed clueless.
