No decepcionó!
Opcion indudable a repetir.
Lugar 10/10
Lovely meal! Walked in at 12 for lunch on a Sunday and had a nice impromptu meal. Ordered the Japanese gyoza, salmon, and tuna salad. All was pretty good in taste, and the restaurant itself was comfortable and with good service. Leticia was our server and did a nice job with the meal. She even arranged for a candle for my wife’s birthday. All in all I recommend this place if you are in the area, not to travel from far, but convenient and nice if nearby.
The service was good. Nothing special but a very attentive staff. The food was good especially the beef tartar. The pita and hummus was tasty but heavy on the sesame oil.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, and the prices were very fair for the quality offered. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. On top of that, the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of. Highly recommended!
We visited August 24 around 15h and loved it. Hot day and the patio had fans with mists. Enjoyed a glass or two of wine, some easy tapas/share-ables and everything was delicious. Pan con tomate, eggplant with a sugar cane sauce, and toasted padron peppers (not picture). Our waiter was perfect, we had a great time and he was very patient and kind with our English. We plan to return before departing Madrid. Gracias!
I had a lovely time at Casa Carmen! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. What truly stood out, though, was the service—our waiter, Adrian, was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and had great recommendations from the menu. It’s clear he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served in a timely manner. Thanks to Adrian’s great service and the quality of the meal, this visit turned into a memorable night out.Highly recommend—and if you go, ask for Adrian!
I had an amazing experience at Casa Carmen Alcalá! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm and authentic atmosphere. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to our server Adrián, whose professionalism and friendliness made our meal even more enjoyable. He gave excellent recommendations from the menu and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The dishes were delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients, offering a true taste of traditional Spanish cuisine. The restaurant’s cozy ambiance and thoughtful decor added a special touch to the whole experience. I highly recommend Casa Carmen Alcalá for an authentic culinary experience in Madrid, and a big thank you to Adrian for his exceptional service!
We had lunch there with the kids.. everyone enjoyed their meal. Burgers are great. My mixed paella was a bit dry (from set menu) , but ok. My wife had a salad with goat cheese and some rice with chicken for a main (delicious) .. overall very good experience! The cheesecake is delicious 😋
Adrian was a very good waiter, very kind and polite. Everything arrived on time and the welcome was excellent. I recommande it !

If you are searching for fine dining with incredible prices, this is the place to go! Starters, main course or desserts - didn't know what was more delicious. The best we've eaten in Madrid!

Beautiful-elegant environment with attentive friendly staff and excellent service! The meal was awesome! A definite destination place when you are in Madrid!
Overall a great experience in an elegant setting with delicious food. However, the service left something to be desired - we could hear shouting from the kitchen, staff were joking around loudly, and our order took much longer than expected to arrive. A bit more professionalism would have made the experience truly outstanding.
Mixed feelings. On nearly empty place during lunch the hostess asked whether she can accommodate us. Second, the waiter was in a hurry to take our order and then bill until they close at 16:30. And he forgot the pardons. They did not have the fish soup and gyoza, but at the end , the smile of the hostess was nice :) nice place. Probably we had found a bad day. Cozy

We had excellent service thanks to Américo and Wilmar. We ate, we saw, and we were seen. The seafood soup was exquisite. El rabo was delicious. desserts were excellent. We left content.
Last night in Madrid and sadlly the worst food of the visit, The food was afwull, the service worst. The waiting time extremlly long We had dinner and where aming the the first tables that sat down…
An okay place to eat because the menu is cheap, food is okay. But the staff, very unfriendly and unhelpful, with no willingness to help, always with a sour face, it seems like you are bothering them. Everything you order takes a long time. I do not recommend it because of the staff's treatment.
May be we come on a Tuesday, the food is really not impressive. There is only 1 servers. The greeter has not smiled the whole time we were there. Our server is nice even though we have language barrier and he got our orders right. I hope that people have a better experience on weekends.
we came to celebrate Christmas Eve and we decided to have the Menu #2 (there are two, the one that is more expensive) we liked that we had unlimited bread and drinks during the night (wine, soft drinks and water),and also that you get all of the starters of the menu so you can try a lot of things, and that the place really nice. The food was great overall (not excellent) however the white of the huevos rotos with foie gras was raw 🙁 so we could not eat that dish. also the service is not the best nobody came to our table to check if everything was okay we had to be trying to make eye contact with the waiters to get their attention and one of the waitresses' even told my mom not to ask her anything because she was not our waitress. Overall it was an okay experience however I would not come back for Christmas.
Very dedicated customer service. They could not have been nicer to us (Carmen the hostess and Nazzira our waitress). Beautiful room. food seems previously frozen, not great. Very good selection of …

The food at this restaurant was truly delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. However, the service was extremely poor. The staff were unfriendly, and the bartender in particular was very rude — he made faces, rolled his eyes, and showed no basic manners. There was no “please,” no “thank you,” nothing. His behavior really ruined what could have been a great dining experience.
we visited the Casa Carmen restaurant after seeing it during our walk. at first it gives off glamorous vibe. we ordered some dishes including calamari/squids. they were inedible, uncooked and soggy. they weren’t crispy (no breeding) as they are supposed to be. they looked and tasted awful. i’ve told the kind waitress/manager and she handled the situation professionally. the napkin had a red stain on it. the peppers were good but i recommend adding maldon salt to them as they are usually served in restaurants. overall the venue is gorgeous and feels bougie, the staff is kind but the food needs some improvements.
The service here was absolutely horrid, waitress was difficult to grab attention and would not come over after quite a long time. The fries had no taste and were HARD (not sure if they were stale o…
We sat down for a meal. Waitress set the table and then did not come back. We waited 15 minutes trying to get some attention - then left. Service is appalling go elsewhere
So the service was really bad. We waited so much to just have the menu. When we asked for water they made us pay de bottles. We had the forks after the meals. The girl was looking at us bad, and ma…
The service and food quality during our visit were extremely disappointing. Our salad contained hair, the paella was served cold, and hair was found again in the dessert, as shown in the photo. These repeated hygiene and service issues are unacceptable. Due to this experience, I will not be returning. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve your standards.
Food was great once we got it. Ordered chicken paella and was served seafood which my partner is allergic to. We waited over half an hour for a burger and salad which wasn’t the salad we had ordered and had already been sat for over an hour. Honestly not a great experience
We went there for dinner. The place itself is very quiet and clean, nice atmosphere. However, that’s all good there is to say about it. Food was horrendous. They claim to be a restaurant, but serve cold and frozen cuts of fish and meat. It’s like buying frozen food just to be heated up and being served to the customers. Not to mention total lack of taste and presentation. Both my husband and me wanted to vomit after taking some bites of the food (tuna and pork dish). Service was lack luster and being forced to order different dishes as they didn’t have several dishes available. We have eaten at hundreds of restaurants in Spain. This place served the worst food we have tasted in Spain. Can’t recommend at all and won’t be going back unfortunately.
