One of my favorite Del Tacos. Always has a few customers, but not crowded. Friendly workers. Prompt service. Tables are cleaned frequently. See a variety of people.

Management and staff are great! I'm a tow truck driver for Fleet Services Towing in town and go there for lunch when I'm in the downtown area. Every time I go there, the atmosphere is like being at grandma's house, and the managers and staff act like one big family. They treat everyone and their regulars as part of it

I absolutely love this Del Taco! I go there for a quick bite or drink while I wait for the regional transfer bus. It's close and I especially like their new Strawberry Boba Sprite! It has real chunks of strawberries AND delicious flavored boba beads! SO amazingly good, it's difficult to just have one drink. I've been there several times and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. I made a mistake and didn't check my order thoroughly and accidentally missed taking guacamole out of the asada steak fries but the manager was really nice and had another one made for me. I really appreciate the great customer service they have there as well as tasty food and drinks. The only complaint I have is I felt a little uncomfortable with some of the people in there at the time I was there, but they weren't causing any trouble so I let them be and they let me be. I met some very nice customers over the last several months, had some interesting conversations and the restaurant itself is very open and inviting.

Excellent new Del taco in Bakersfield as of 08/20/18. The place is a newly constructed fast food restaurant.. the team here is very positive and welcoming. I work down the block from here and have come here for lunch three times, and all three times I have had a great experience. An employee here named Shane has excellent customer service. Highly recommend this place for a bite.

The 1/2lb Bean & Cheese burrito, is no longer $1 nor is it 1/2lb. It changed long time ago, but I've only now decided to gripe about it. Still tasty as ever!

The tacos were skimpy but fresh. I had my first fish taco and I'd need 10 to be satisfied, due to the size. I know inflation but for $3.00 I expected just a little more cabbage.

Stopped in at about 830p on a Sunday, there was no employees at the register and the place was empty. We saw a worker in the drive thru window who was helping a drive thru customer, and he let us know that he would be right with us. It took him a few minutes for him to get over to take our order. It seemed as though he was the only employee working. We ordered 2 beyond meat 8 layer burritos and their soft tacos. The burrito was good, but the tacos weren't as good. They seemed like the "meat" had been too over cooked, causing it to be tooooo soft and mushy. Restaurant was clean, as well as the restrooms. Would go back if in town again.

I find this particular del taco cleaner than most. As well as always getting my order right they are also very friendly.

The problem at this del taco is the staff at night. Either they don't understand how to do their jobs, or just don't care. I simply asked for light lettuce on my tacos. LIGHT LETTUCE. In response they packed them so full of cheese , they were inedible. It was gross. The meat was dripping grease, and they looked like they half ass wrapped , threw them at the wall, bagged them then drop kicked the bag to the window. It was just a waste of time and money. Never again .

So I have an order that is my usual a combination of snack soft tacos and chicken tacos no sauce. This place seems to be iffy on filling of the snack soft tacos. On a good night they fill them up and it's the best taco for the price in town. Unfortunately that's only happened during the hours of 8pm or after. Still the staff for the most part do their job and at this location it is rare for my order to be incorrect. I enjoy that one of the shift managers recognizes me and gives me the exact amount of medium hot sauce I like. Would give a higher rating if the snack tacos were filled consistently to the more full side than the not full side. Still a regular stop for me.

The dining area was very dirty. Ordered a chicken burrito it was cold tortilla was hard like it was sitting there a for while. Also this del taco seems to be a little stingy my burrito didn't have much inside that hard cold tortilla.

Stopped to grab something to eat.. I went thru the drive thru. The lady on the speaker was nice, confirmed my order.. I got my order and drove off since I was passing thru.. then, as my son was passing out what everyone ordered, we realized they didn't even give all the items we ordered! I'm so disappointed, and we spent over $35 for food we didn't even get!!! Customer service sucks... I couldn't even call them to let them know since they didn't even give me a receipt.. what a waste.. Sooo with that being said.. when you're out in this area, make sure you get all of your order before you leave the window.

I usually love Del Taco, but this has to be the worst in town. They are skimpy on the portions. They usually always get the orders wrong. The manager must be a complete bafoon, and not spend much time training employees. The district manager should do something.

Ghetto. Employees are loud and scandalous. I tired eating in peace with my family and one of the employers had there 5 year old running around, screaming and crying, jumping on the cashier counters and tables where people eat. Mother being the employer was yelling at the kid from a distance. Like I said Ghetto and the food was not even heated up right. Cheese quesadillas not even cooked. Never going back. Worst place ever.

Went through the drive thru and order was correct, but when we got home after a long, hot, day. I found a taco full or rancid meat, obviously cooked in rancid oil, and mushy, rotten, tomatoes! I realize this isn't fine dining, but to serve rotten food is not good business.

I tried to get food around 11:00 p.m. and there was a homeless person blocking the order box I end up waiting about 3 minutes until he finally moves and i place my order. When I get to the window to pick up my food the two female employees that were inside decide they're going to go outside to argue with this homeless person and they leave the store unattended. I wait about 5 minutes sitting at The pickup window listening to them argue before I decide to finally leave without any food. That area is dangerous at night and the employees shouldn't have went outside like that it's definitely not safe for them. It was very unprofessional for them to leave the store unattended and make everyone wait while they stand outside and argue with somebody.

Just ordered from here like 30 minute's ago & we will never go again. The last was great, this time horrible! We ordered 3 bean burritos, 2 fish tacos, the number 4 combo no tomatoes or onions (medium), and 1 chicken roller and 1 chicken burrito. We GOT 2 regular tacos, JUST the #4 burger with TWO pieces of hair, 1 bean burrito and a Quesadilla that we didn't even order. & two large drinks we didn't order either. He also did not give us a receipt and I didn't want to waste more of my time going back through as there was a line behind us. AND ALL OF THE FOOD WAS ODD AND NASTY.

Pulled up to the drive through, the kid says "hang on" ok, no problem im in no hurry. some other dude comes on a minute later and takes my order, I pull up and wait like 5 minutes at the window, dude hands me my bag then disappears. My drink had like 2 ice cubes, the fries were cold, and they shorted me 3 tacos. I love del taco, but today they broke my heart.

I came in at 5:20 PM and the kiosk’s weren’t working so I asked for the cashier to take my order and she sighed extremely loud and said really. I also wanted to use my reward and the machine wasn’t reading it she then walked off instead of trying again I’m completely appalled by the cashiers behavior and work ethic. I also wanted to dine in but she rang my order up as take out.

It was not good at all the customer wasn't happy at all they wanted to order there food and no one helped them so they walked away and then one of the customers that was eating in there went and told the woman that was working there that they don't have any coca cola she told him that they ran out there no more coca cola how can a business run out of soda tow customer walked out so they said that they will never come back that is so sad that there customers service sucks I will also stop going there 😞😞😞😞😞

Service is slow and so many things are overpriced. Only reason a person goes to fast food in California is because it's supposed to be fast. But these guys aren't. It's not worth the over priced menu. You're better off going to one of the local Mexican restaurants where the food and the service are good

On October 31, 2023 we went to Del Taco and waited 20 minutes in the drive through. Not that it was a long time to us, but our baby was crying her heart out. We didn’t expect to wait that long to be honest. On top of that, we were charged for food we didn’t order, and when we asked about our order in the window this African American women was extremely rude. She was in her late 20s maybe. I only put her description incase management wants to talk to her. After we put up with her rudeness, we got home and our order was missing items. Also our $8 burrito was not the correct burrito. I am not exaggerating when I say it was 90% beans. So my wife didn’t get her food. I gave this place one star due to employee attitude. I will not go back if I see her in the drive through. I am too embarrassed about asking about my receipt, and I am a little saddened by this experience at Del Taco.

First of all, we were asked to park up front so I said, "well at least our food will be hot and fresh." That was not the case. After waiting about 10 minutes the guy brings our food out, the fries, tacos and burger were cold but we warmed them up so not that big a deal. The crispy chicken taco was disgusting, it tasted like it had been sitting for days, it was so stale and gross. I have not been back since and probably never will.

The shrimp was ok, It’s just the honey mango syrup they put on it was like melted jelly and the tortilla was soggy. The sauce completely over powered any flavor the taco had to offer. I love food and I got several extra pounds to prove it, they just need to take this back and rethink this idea. I’m willing to try anything once but this never again.....lol If they put small chunks of mango and a light drizzle of honey with some chipotle sauce maybe that will work but this is a no no especially when people are trying to find something good to eat and save some money. Hats off to the del taco crew for feeding us all during this pandemic.

I came into this Del Taco yesterday at around 7:00 pm. As I entered a lady kept saying "I mopped I mopped" over and over. Like she did not want me walking on the floor. I told her if she did not want people to come inside she should lock the door. This happened hours before closing, I just left.
