We visited this location for Mandi. We usually go to the Irving branch, but since we were in the area for other work, we decided to try this one. The private cabins are excellent—we chose one because we have a little one and didn’t want to disturb other guests. It was perfect, and he had space to play comfortably. The Gobi Mandi was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. Priyanka made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit and provided outstanding service. Definitely recommend trying their Mandi here!
So good!! We ordered 2 pieces spicy chicken mandi and it was really good and very huge portions. Will definitely be back
Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food! The BEST place in McKinney for South Indian food! I had one of the veg pulaos and it was super good! The masala chai was great too with delicate cardamom tones and a bold spice flavors. Maybe a little less sugar would have made it better. But it satisfied the Indian spice cravings very well!
I visited this Indian restaurant and had an amazing experience. I ordered the Bahubali Mega Biryani, and it was absolutely worth it. The portion was huge and came with a great variety of flavors. Along with the biryani, there were different types of chicken, mutton, fish, and shrimp, all cooked really well. Everything tasted fresh, rich, and authentic. Definitely a great place if you want to try multiple Indian dishes in one meal. Highly recommend
Absolutely loved the experience at Bahubali Mandi! The food is truly Indian authentic—rich flavors, perfect spices, and generous portions that remind you of home-style cooking. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and full of traditional taste. Great ambiance, friendly service, and a must-visit spot for anyone craving real Indian food. Highly recommended!
Had an amazing experience at Hashtag India Restaurant in Dallas, especially the Bahubali Mandi! The portion size was massive, perfectly cooked, and full of rich, authentic flavors. The meat was tender, the rice was aromatic, and the spices were spot on without being overpowering. Definitely a must-try dish for mandi lovers—will be coming back again soon!
All their mandi dishes taste absolutely delicious and are full of rich, authentic flavors. rice is perfectly cooked, aromatic and pairs wonderfully with the tender, well seasoned meat. Each mandi we tried was consistently tasty and satisfying, showing great quality and attention to detail. Portions are generous, presentation is appealing, and overall the food feels fresh and comforting. If you enjoy flavorful Middle Eastern style meals this place is definitely a must try. Highly recommended for mandi lovers.
Nice restaurant with an interesting design. In addition to regular tables, there’s a small area with traditional seating on the ground and a low table. The staff is very friendly, and Arman helped us with the menu since we weren’t familiar with the food. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Great food and great service from VARSHA We had lunch here two months ago, and we still talk about the experience all thanks to **Varsha**. She was the highlight of our visit! So warm, active, and genuinely caring. Her smile, energy, and attention made us feel truly special. The food was great, but **Varsha’s service made it unforgettable**. I’ve recommended this place to friends just to experience her hospitality. I only wish I lived nearby to come more often. She made our day and the memory still makes us smile
Visited on Weekend for Lunch of 2. Place is very quiet and great looking restaurant. Food is great and tasteful. I have tired Gobi Mandi and Paneer Mandi with special rice. Both of them are excellent and tasteful. Quality and Quantity is enough for 2 people. Service is very fast and reliable. They have wide range of menu options as well in Veg and Non Veg. Much try if you’re looking for Mandi Place. Much recommended. No wait when I visited but planning accordingly.

This place is, without a doubt the tastiest restaurant in town! The prices are very reasonable for the quality and flavor of the food. I absolutely love the Mandi biryani and pulao here especially …

Amazing spot with great food and vibes. Don’t miss to try their fusion curries. Service is great and ambience is top notch. They got full bar with a variety of fusion cocktails
I’ve visited this place multiple times, mostly for lunch or dinner, and those experiences have consistently been good. The food is flavorful, portions are good, and the service during those times is usually attentive and friendly. It’s a nice spot for a satisfying South Indian meal. However, I’ve found the evening coffee/snack experience to be a bit underwhelming. The service during that time, particularly from the person managing, hasn’t been very welcoming. On one occasion, even basic items like water and chutney were not served with the snacks, which was disappointing. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner—but I hope they improve the evening snack service to match the standards they set during the rest of the day. I have also heard the same comments from many of my friends.

Tried the chicken soup and two-piece Juicy Chicken Mandi. The soup was excellent, but the chicken was tough and felt undercooked. The rice had a slightly bitter taste, possibly from too much turmeric. Service by the staff was superb and the interior is great. I usually like Hashtag Mandi, but this visit was a bit disappointing.
I've been here a few times. I've been to 2 Sunday buffets, and the food tasted good and the lady serving was nice. My usual has been butter chicken with butter Naan and they've tasted pretty good. Past couple times I got to-go orders, and service wasn't good. The first one I asked about my drink when picking up my order, and the lady looked at me like I was an idiot and said it's in the bag. In all the years I've gotten to go orders around the country, I've never had a drink placed in a bag. Today I placed an order that said it would be ready at 2:04pm, and I don't believe I got it till after 2:20pm. I stood at the counter for probably close to 10 minutes before an employee talked to me. One girl I said hi to, and she just stared a hole through me not saying a word and just walked right past me. Very disrespectful! The other guy was standing around and never said a word, went into the back, and some minutes later eventually he asked me if I was picking up, and a few minutes after that I finally got the order at minimum 15 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. The place looked empty with only a couple customers seated. The guy was nicer when giving me my order, which I do appreciate. Since I've had 2 negative customer service experiences in a row, I don't believe I will come back here. I like the food, but I want to give my business to businesses that respect me and honor my time, and I sadly did not receive that here.
Visited Hashtag India in McKinney recently. We tried juicy mutton mandi and mango lassi. The food was pretty good—flavorful. We were served more gravy rather than meat. However, the service was a letdown. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet our food took a long time to arrive. The waitress seemed disinterested and not very welcoming, which affected the overall experience. With better service, this place could really shine.

Food was very mediocre. Extremely poor service. ambiance was ok. I will not go again. Very disappointed
We dined at your restaurant last night and ordered four items, including two biryanis and an appetizer ,Desert The mutton ghee roast biryani was good. However, the Hash Tag Special Pulav, which was recommended by your staff, was very disappointing. Food came fast after 10 min The chicken did not taste fresh and had a slight smell. We could not eat it and packed the entire dish to go. I want tell same time at restaurant I don’t want discourage in front others This morning, my family experienced nausea and stomach discomfort. We have visited your restaurant before without issues, but this experience was unacceptable. Please look into this matter and ensure proper food quality and safety.
Ordered two starters for to go. Dragon chicken and cashew chicken. Selected for spicy and asked for extra spicy too.As usual quantity is less for the price they charge but what's surprising is there is lots of cabbage in our both starters😅 (which isn't supposed to be there, first time seeing this)Food is way bland and not tasty. Not a good experience this time.
** Creative Themes Can’t Hide Weak Food Quality** The restaurant has an interesting concept, offering different themed experiences like Mandi-style seating and “Jail Mandi,” which definitely adds to the ambiance. However, at the end of the day, it’s the food that really defines the experience — and that’s where things fell short for me. The chicken starters were just average, lacking freshness or distinctive flavor. The garlic shrimp, unfortunately, was quite disappointing — it tasted frozen and simply sautéed, with a rubbery texture. The biryani too was mediocre, with little aroma or depth of flavor. Overall, it feels like a place that’s focused more on presentation and theme rather than the quality of the food. With better attention to freshness, flavor balance, and preparation, this place could live up to its creative concept. Until then, it feels more like a missed opportunity than a memorable dining experience.
The menu is very good and diverse which is good. Portions are great and prices are good and reasonable. We asked for NON-spicy food and still got a very spicy food. Service is horrible!! Took literally 40 minutes to get chicken biryani and veggies biryani even the place didn’t have any other customers (well, there were food bloggers getting all the attention)! The waitress never came back to check if we need anything. Also, we sat close to a door that’s supposed to be closed but they kept opening it to go outside and then the door slams really bas. So annoying and disturbing. Summary, good food and portions. Very bad service and attention to details.

We went to dine at your restaurant expecting a fine dining experience. However, we were very disappointed with the service. It took almost 20 minutes just for someone to come and take our order, even though the restaurant was not busy. After placing the order, the food was served, but we did not even receive water. It is basic common sense to serve water to guests before or at least along with the food. We had to ring the bell multiple times to get attention, which was quite frustrating. This is not the level of service expected from a place that promotes itself as a fine dining restaurant. Additionally, we were charged auto-gratuity. We are willing to pay for the service we receive, but it does not feel right to pay a service charge for service that was clearly unsatisfactory. When we raised this issue with the manager, he simply apologized without properly addressing the situation. There were only three servers for the entire dine-in area, even on a weekend. Is that really acceptable for a fine dining restaurant? We hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your service standards.
Terrible breakfast buffet experience. Waited over an hour for basic items like puri, pongal, and vada — staff kept saying “5 minutes” but nothing ever came. Most of the buffet stations were empty or had scraps, making it feel like an anathanam rather than a paid buffet. Despite knowing they were short on food, they continued seating new customers. After spending nearly 2 hours, we left with half-filled stomachs and no refund or discount was offered. The food quality is good, but the poor planning and management ruined the experience — not worth the wait or the money.
We ordered four dishes all four are worst and stored food I guess 1. Chicken lollipops over reheated definitely stored food 2. Chicken juicy Mandi - probably stored food but not sure but food is good 3. Special chicken pulav - actually it is not pulav at all this is mix of Sambar rice with chicken and something else worst dish I had in recent times 4. We ordered something else I forgot but food is worst And more than all these raitha(curd mixed with vegetables) is worst ever dish
I'm updating my review from 4 to 1. They can't suit a 1 either. My wife got take-out biriyani and chicken starter. The biriyani's meat was undercooked. The chicken, supposed to be saucy, was just deep-fried and tasteless. After calling to provide feedback, we were asked to contact them when the manager is available. Following up, the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful, telling us, "You have to bring the food back so I can ask my chef to check what's wrong." There is no acknowledgement or any sort of console. If a manager treats a customer like that, it's hard to imagine they can sustain their business. I'm definitely not going back and likely won't be recommending it to my friends either.
