I see many people writing one of the best sushi places around. I'm very curious what the other sushi places are, for me there's no competition because Shokudo is simply the best sushi place in Western Europe.

Very high quality sushi with excellent filling-to-rice ratio. Warm sides/appetisers also excellent, but the sushi trumps all. Everything considered still a bit on the expensive side, but worth the splurge nevertheless.

Perfect need sushi place! It's nice to have some refreshment in the town. Place is upscale, chic, good for casual lunch or business dinner. Sushis are excellent, quantity is perfect and the staff is friendly and will gladly help if you have questions. It's a go for me!

We went for the sushi and it was absolutely amazing. Very good food and nice people working here. We ordered the titanic with 4 people, did not finish it of course but we received a box with extra sauce and all the same trimmings as for the takeaway. Would defenitely recommend!

I came here to have some quick sushi, expecting the usual sushi restaurant but then realized at the entrance that this one is different. Very luxurious, mannered and so clean. When looking at the chefs at the entrance I immediately got the feeling of "yeah these guys are not some lazy chefs, they want to serve the best sushi"

De postre, elegimos la Panna Cotta Matcha: cremosa, ligera y con un sutil sabor a matcha, una forma elegante de culminar la noche. My top option to takeout sushi in this neighborhood, also lot of seats inside the store , fast and friendly service. In general the sushi taste mild, fresh, balanced combinations, good amount of food. There are lot of other options besides sushi, also some vegan options, good to dine with friends or family. I always come back here:)

Very nice and elegant sushi restaurant with lots of choices. We had a deluxe boat which was tasty but not very surprising. As a great eater myself, it was on the edge of enough. But the decoration of the restaurant is delighted and the staff very friendly.

Very little space between tables and weird McDonald’s-like ambience; food is made out of fresh ingredients but it’s had no charm and often had little taste. 3 stars.

3 stars because the overall experience was ok. Asked the waiter for some wasabi during our first course ( love wasabi) and he replied saying that maybe it's better if I have it next course. Didn't comment but found it very unprofessional his reply. Over all the dishes weren't exceptional. Also for the setting eating in a room where there is a TV is so disturbing on so many levels. Ever seen in a nice restaurant a TV? The answer is no! There is such a thing as too much marketing! Name on the glasses, name on the napkins, name on the sugar, name on the TV name pretty much on everything. Clearly should have paid more attention to his guests in setting the restaurant and and ambient in a traditional feeling. Furthermore serving soy sauce from a glass bottle doesn't make it look classy or traditional, it actually has the adverse effect. Definitely not the best but not the worse either. Feed back is key, and for such a place I think they can do so much more!

This was not our first time we came here for sushi, but first time we decided not to take a sushi boat, but select a few different sushi plates. We decided to have 3 warm rolls as we were not taking out and we could enjoy the rolls served hot. 45minutes after ordering we thought they had forgotten about us as other tables arriving after us had received their food. When asking about the food, it was served two minutes later but our warm rolls were cold. It was such a disappointment. This experience together with a steep bill made us decide this was the last time.

Poor service. The waiter tries to be funny but is rude instead. What supposed to be a fun night out almost ended in a brawl. He should be fired asap.

Als fervente restaurant gangers zijn we na veel verhalen te horen met een grote groep afgezakt naar deze zaak ... Echter viel dit voor iedereen enorm tegen jammer genoeg .. de sushi lag blijkbaar al 1 of meerdere dagen op voorhand klaar en de service duurde enorm lang , als het al niet ' meermaals ' vergeten was .. wanneer we hier de ober , op een vriendelijke manier attent maakte . Werden we uitgelachen en verteld dat we niet in een ster Restaurant zaten .. zo een mooie zaak dan zo laten verwateren, enorm jammer ..
