For sure, this is a hidden gem! Our experience was great, beginning to end! We were greeted by Luan, the owner, as soon as we entered. He made small talk with us even though they were clearly busy fulfilling orders. He was very friendly and treated us with so much kindness! The overall service was phenomenal! Banh Mi Zon has some of the best banh-mi I've ever had! The bread they make and use for their banh-mi sandwiches is soft, fresh, well-risen, light crumb, and very delicious! If you eat a lot of banh-mi like I do, you know that the quality of the bread can either make or break a sandwich. Here, you won't have to worry. This place has top-notch banh-mi bread!!! I haven't found superior quality like this anywhere else! The meat was flavored well and very tender, and veggies were fresh and crunchy! It was all proportioned well. I got the beef bulgogi banh-mi and highly recommend it! My sister had the spicy pork belly banh-mi, and my husband ordered the bbq pork. They both loved what they ordered and also raved about it! The restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Vibes were great. Really loved the simple and sleek design of the place! And the self order kiosks were awesome! Literally, there are too many good things to say about Banh Mi Zon! We'll definitely be returning whenever we're nearby. ☺️ Thanks for an amazing and memorable meal!
Great food, clean place and friendly staff. Vermicelli/salad with spicy pork belly was delicious. Portions are decent. (I couldn't even eat shrimp rolls, had to take it for later). Would definitely get back again if I'm in the area. ❤️
Nice quiet little unassuming restaurant, but man oh man the food is superb!!! If you want good food, and a nice cool breeze while you are eating it, go here! You will not be disappointed! Great service too! We thoroughly enjoyed our food! It was super fresh and delicious! 🤤 Would absolutely eat here again!!! And a big thank you to the lady who served us too! She was very nice and helped us with our order. Great place, just go eat here you will enjoy it!
The Banh Mi is here is so good! Why? Because they have the correct bread for starters - it’s thin and crispy on the outside, airy but it still can hold a massive amount of fillings. The pickled daikon radish and carrots is really perfectly made along with just the right amount of pate in the traditional one. The Bulgogi version was also super delicious! Highly recommended as we are very picky with Banh Mi after spending lots of time in Vietnam!
Very flavorful pho broth and amazing banh mi!
Ate in and loved it! We got the traditional banh mi, pho with extra meat, bao, and spring rolls. All were really good!
We were craving some banh mi and decided to stop here for sandwiches to eat on stinson beach. Also picked up some tasty boba drinks as well.

Give this place more business!! Surprisingly delicious and real bahn mis. Pho great too
Have eaten here many times and have tried most of the items on their menu. I absolutely love their sandwiches and find their pho tasty. Their bread is perfectly thin, airy , and crispy with an abundance of veggies and meat. I'm so happy they opened so close to my house.
Banh Mi Zon in Mili Valley is an absolute gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, from the crispy, perfectly baked banh mi to the refreshing drinks. The bread is outstanding — freshly baked, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The fillings are always fresh, generous, and packed with flavor. The blend of savory meats, rich paté, fresh cilantro, and the perfectly tangy pickled carrots and daikon creates a symphony of textures and tastes that is impossible to beat. It’s a fantastic value for the quality and size you get. Beyond the food, the staff is always quick, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you're grabbing lunch to go or stopping in for a quick bite, the experience is always top-notch. If you haven't been, you're truly missing out. Get there immediately!

Boba pearls all stuck together at the bottom make it hard to sip them through the straw. Had to use a spoon to get it out. The buns were good though!
Delicious sandwiches. Delicious overall food and drinks. Good beer selection. However meat portions are small in the sandwiches, even when I ordered extra protein. Meat portions good for teenage girl's appetites but not for fully grown men.

The bobas and salad bowl were good. However I must point out that the banh mi sandwiches have been modified to fit the taste of the Marin customers maybe who don't like spicy that much? No jalapenos and very little carrots in the banh mi and there were cucumbers or something like that in there. We won't get the banh mi no more.
I read so many positive reviews of this place, I couldn't wait to try it. First of all, it's not a welcoming place to sit and eat; the tiny plastic tables and glaring lighting make it pretty uncomfortable (it appears that most of the orders were call-in and pick up.) And it was pretty popular: though there were only a few people in there, my order took at least 15 minutes because of all the to-go orders in front of me. I had the pork belly, which appeared to be a little more than crumbles of leftover pork belly on cold noodles. Perhaps the pho was better, but I've been spoiled - on Clement Street alone in San Francisco, there are three or four better places with lower prices. The people behind the counter were lovely, but you have little interaction with them since all ordering is electronic.

This is a wannabe high-end asian fast food chain restaurant. The food was very mediocre, and there really wasn’t much service to speak of. OK for take outs.

Easy to order for pickup and there are few parking spots in front. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately the food was gross and inedible. The rolls were stale and the shrimp was rubbery. The chicken in the Pho was hard as a rock and flavorless. The tofu in the vermicelli was the strangest texture and again, no flavor. Even the rice noodles tasted stale which I didn’t know was possible. Nothing authentic or savory about the food. About as bland and disappointing as it gets.

Please keep driving, not that good. There’s better food in the area. The sandwich was very mediocre. The meat was sparse and oddly textured. We got the spicy pork belly, what came out wasn’t spicy and didn’t resemble pork belly. It looked like cooked sliced pork belly that ls been slowly stewing, all the “belly” was removed and what was left was browned soft (yet somehow dry) meat. The veggies were not pickled and were watery and flavorless. The bread was thin and super crispy and crunchy. This is a bhan mi shop, why is the stores specialty not special in any way? I got a Thai tea with boba, the boba was okay, the Thai tea was watered down and lacking depth/richness. 2 bahn mi 2 drinks Almost $50 including tip. No bathrooms Just go somewhere else in general
This might be the least authentic Vietnamese place in town. The Bahn Mi had the wrong bread, and the pork tasted off. The boba milk tea had no flavor, either. It felt watered down. To top off the experience, there is no restroom to wash your hands… I was very disappointed, as I was looking forward to trying this place.

Ordered chicken and tofu pho which was extremely subpar. Broth heated up in plastic bowl (ewww microplastics) in microwave , then poured into a metal bowl. Broth was served luke warm, noodle so-so, chicken slices were scant, dry like cardboard, tasteless , unable to chew and swallow. Probably not real chicken! Broth was very salty, bland with out any flavor depth, had to add hot water which made it worse. Tofu was previously fried but obviously not fresh, tasteless. Would not recommend this place . No Vietnamese employees present, prepackaged ingredients thrown into plastic bowl. Nothing made fresh in this place. Employee sweeping carpet while we were still eating, not pleasant with dust flying about. One other patron in the place, would not call this a restaurant.
If you want an aneurysm, try out the UI on their self-ordering kiosks. And as others have mentioned, they fail on the foundational principle of menus, which is : the photo has to match what you select, which it does not with the milk tea (which shows boba but which is an upcharge, but even that is poorly indicated). Banh Mi Traditional was, if truly traditional, was not my thing. There is no service, yet they, as with so many restaurants, expect a tip. The Bay Area is broken.
I really wanted to like this place, but I would only recommend ordering the bánh mì and the milk tea. Those were solid. However, the other items on the menu were disappointing. The beef pho had very little flavor — honestly, instant Top Ramen tastes better. The chicken teriyaki rice bowl was also not good; it was just plain boiled chicken covered in teriyaki sauce, without any seasoning or texture. If you go, stick to the bánh mì and drinks. The rest needs improvement.
