5/5 on absolutely everything. Taste, presentation, service, cleanliness, timeliness, literally everything. A group of 8 of us came on Monday night after an extremely long day at minnewaska and we were starved. This place hit all the spots and then some. I had the pesto ricotta pizza and it was one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever had. The chicken parm sandwich was so delicious. The guys working there were so nice and patient. Would definitely recommend if you’re around.
This is our favorite pizza in town for the last 15 years maybe 20 (has it been 20 years!). Their pizza is excellent, the crust is well seasoned and the sauce is perfect. They have a side of broccoli rabe on the menu which I love. My kids love the BBQ wings and the Zeppole.
One of the best "grandma" slices I've had. Crispy crust, good marinara sauce. Regular cheese slice was also pretty good. Boneless chicken wings were ok. AWESOME STAFF! Very attentive, very kind.
I found New Paltz's food scene to be surprisingly a little bit disappointing overall, but Rino's Pizza helped redeem our weekend trip to the area. The pizza had a great crust and the toppings were delicious and not greasy at all. We got a pie for take out, and they were quick and efficient. I'd definitely get pizza again from here.
Best pizza in New Paltz, hands down. My wife and I were looking for a late night pizza snack for our wedding and after trying all the local pizza joints we happily selected Rino's. The staff really worked with us to coordinate 18 pie's be delivered slightly after hours and it really closed the evening on a high note. Needless to say, it was a total hit, everyone loved the food and we couldn't recommend Rino's more.
The Chicken Parm and Eggplant dinners were excellent, baked just right, great sauce. Came back & bought two more for neighbors next day. Congratulations on Best of Hudson Valley. We all voted for Rinos Pizza!
The service here is astounding. Very friendly and they put quite an effort in to make sure they're making you exactly what you are requesting. Meeting the expectations of the customer is the extra mile that a successful entrepreneur or restaurants Personnel will go through when they are truly themselves a member of a top-notch establishment. We love the pizza. And the beverages that they assisted us so greatly in selecting where a big hit. Thank you
It was awesome! We live in PA. and find NY makes the best pizza. Rino's pizza was the perfect dinner to the end of a very long night. The people who work their, were very courteous. Thank you!
Best F'n Pizza I've had in a long time. The sauce was amazing, the dough is on point. The family was all happy with what they got. Friendly staff and other guy just hanging out too. Good people for sure. Thanks again Rino
Reliable go-to pizza. And Dom is the man.
Great pizza the kid kyle behind the counter is top notch
Crispy, thin crust on their premade slices. A pizza sauce with flavor, a tart tanginess with its acidity balanced by the quality cheese and other toppings. Plenty of choices and a full menu of other options to take home. Nice sit in atmosphere, well worth the price for the food and very pleasant and helpful staff.
Delicious, especially the square white pizza with pepperoni. Enjoyed caesar salad and spaghetti and meatballs as well. Very nice staff. And most importantly, We Would Eat There Again!!
Very good pizza! All kinds of combination, we tried seven different slices. We tried their stuffed eggplant, spinach and cheese; stuffed bacon, chicken and ranch; thick crust bruschetta-style; thin crust vegetable; thin crust pepperoni and cheese; thin crust cheese and vodka sauce; and sausage and cheese. They also have yummy garlic knots marinara sauce.
DELICIOUS and so many different flavors you won't be disappointed . YUMMY time .again we ate here and pizza was great thin crust and crispy. Grandmas pizza and mozzarella with tomato and balsamic pizza sooooooo. Good
Great crust on the grandma pies, love the vodka sauce base options. Definitely worth a stop if you’re driving by, huge slice variety
My son and I stopped in while traveling on the thruway...got pizza to go and kept on driving. We both agreed (while eating and driving) that this may be the best pizza we ever ate. The original grandmas pizza is literally amazing!!!
Tiny kid behind the counter was weird (Kyle) but the food was great
Discovered this place last year and came back with more friends. It's a great place to stop in your way in or out of town. Incredible selection of slices ready to go and the garlic knots are not to be missed!
If you love pizza, you simply need to try this place. Went many times as a student and returned this past weekend to find that cleanliness, quality, and service have remained some of the best I've ever seen. Grab a grandma or vodka slice and enjoy the crispy crust and flavorful sauce. I also had a white slice with ricotta, greens, and honey- outstanding! It's ALL good!
Really good pizza. I mean, REALLY good pizza. Probably the best pizza place in New Paltz, NY. Wowzers, this place was good. It was quaint, and the quality of the pizza was SO good. The restaurant interior was simple, which is great. It is not trying to look super fancy, and was literally just serving pizza and some other dishes, too. It had a super cool spice rack with a bunch of sauces and oils, and that was all the decoration needed. I am going back here again.
I’m a fairly new Doordash customer and I accidentally ordered the wrong pizza. DoorDash said they couldn’t help me. I called Rhino’s and Daminico the manager got me another pizza delivered by them. It was absolutely delicious! I was very impressed. Above and beyond service! It’s where I’ll be going from now on. Thank you!
The house slices are twice the size of a regular slice awesome
Awesome! The staff was super nice and quick to help and seemed to be having fun. We got pepperoni/sausage, the grandma slice and a plain cheese all of which we raved about. I also got garlic knots with the sauce and it was memorable! We found them by accident but definitely not mad and will be making a visit when we're back in town. Our four year old is a super fun excited little friend and the staff made sure to make him feel right at home. Awesome job guys !
I’ve been going to Rino’s since they opened. They “spoiled” us and we won’t go anywhere else. We’ve had a few events catered and they have always taken care of us. Food and pizza has always been delicious, we’ve never had an issue or complaint. I order at least twice a month now and order always comes hot & the young man who delivers is awesome. He’s personable, polite & very respectful. To all the employees at Rino’s thank you for great food & service! You all ROCK!
This is by far the best pizza and Italian food in town. We’ve been ordering from there for years for both takeout and delivery and it’s always fast, the delivery is great, and the food is DELICIOUS no matter what we get. The eggplant parm dinner is our favorite, but you can’t go wrong with anything! Their service is professional and efficient. There’s a young man who’s typically there and he commands the entire ship and keeps everyone in line.
The Drunken Chicken Parmigian is a must! 10 out of 10!
Stopped here while traveling for work. I prefer barbecue or burgers if I'm traveling but after a quick search Rino's seemed like the most promising place for the night. The pizza here is absolutely excellent. I ordered a mushroom and onion pizza and the quality of ingredients was very evident. I got the "personal" size but honestly two people could eat off that and probably be content. The crust was nice and puffy around the edges without being crispy or dry. The cheese was also fantastic... tasted high quality and complemented the sauce very well. Not your usual bits of chopped canned mushrooms either... the mushrooms actually looked like mushrooms! I'm not likely to be back in this area again but if I am, I'd eat here twice before trying anywhere new.
If you are looking for a delicious lunch or dinner that will never disappoint, I suggest trying Rino’s in New Paltz! The pizza is always fresh and delicious and their sandwiches are something to talk about! Not only is the food great but so is the staff! You are always greeted by a team of warm and welcoming faces. Tim, Kyle and Nick are always upbeat and don’t hesitate to offer every customer with outstanding service! Thank you for always satisfying my lunch cravings Rino’s!! :)
I had the ricotta, pesto, hot honey pizza and it was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION !!! I live in New Jersey and was on a road trip home and stopped here because of the reviews. The dough was so soft and the bottom had an amazing crunch that blew me away. I purchased an extra slice for the drive :)
Solid pizza joint, friendly folks making some tasty pizzas! It is a great spot for larger groups.
Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve been living in California (land of bad pizza) for 3 years and finally returned east and this pizza satisfied my 3 year long pizza craving. Exceeded my expectations of how good NY pizza can be! Good crust, sauce, and cheese all cooked to perfection! Plus friendly and fast staff.
Best pizza. Always a stop on our way into the city for hockey games. Too bad it's not closer to home but perfect stop nonetheless.
Great Pizza. Go see Kyle great Customer service
Went in to grab a few slices for my children ! The guys helped me pick some slices for the kids and myself grateful for their patience and amazing customer Service this will be my new go to in New Paltz !! Yayy
For pizza Rino's is our go to place even though we live a few miles away in Gardiner with other pizza places much nearer. Today my wife mentioned they forgot one of the toppings last time just to make sure they did not miss it. Still was great pizza. When I came in to pick it up they gave me the pizza for free. Would not let me pay. Over and beyond. Pizza as always was great.
Not just best pizza in New Paltz, but best pizza in Hudson Valley, hands-down. Grandma slices have that perfect crispy bottom...delicious flavorful sauce and always the right amount of toppings. True NY slice of za. Guys behind the counter are always friendly as well.
Passing through heading back to NYC and we all felt like a good slice after hiking 5 miles. Pizza was delicious and didn’t disappoint. Better than some NYC area pizza joints. Garlic knots were also very good. Pizza was thin and crunchy and the sauce was amazing. Will stop in again next time we are in the area.
The workers are the nicest people and it is the best pizza I have ever had i would travel across the world for this pizza
My son and I had three slices of specialty pizza. They were soo good. Love the flavors. I was telling him how it was some of the best pizza ever and he agreed. Definitely high quality. The other couple there agreed who were having cheese steaks of some sort.
Great pizza and wings. They also deliver. Always hot
Sat down with hubby, had a slice and it took me back to real good city pizza. Thin and crunchy , staff was very nice too ! Didn’t get to take a photo as we inhaled our slices
I’ve been going to Rino’s for years. But once I moved out of town, I only grab it when I’m in the area. About a month ago I ordered something that wasn’t on the menu anymore, the sesame chicken pizza 🤤 I had ordered it without onions because my husband can not eat onions. After driving home, we noticed the onions ALL over the pizza and I called Rino’s and spoke with Kyle, he was very professional, apologetic and told us to let them know the next time we are in the area for a pizza to replace the one we couldn’t eat this time. Today, while in New Paltz, we decided to call Rino’s and order the vodka grandma pizza and some knots. Boy did it NOT disappoint. It was PHENOMENAL. The crust was perfect, the sauce was so delicious and the knots are always the best around. We were very happy with the customer service we received today as well. Very understanding and welcoming. We will continue to support this awesome establishment whenever we are in the area and hope you do too! They’ve been around for a long time and for good reason. ❤️
Delicious. Perfect crust. And geat, friendly service. Dining room is a little basic, but so what. Eat here!
We ordered a large sausage & pepper pizza and it was DELICIOUS!! VERY fresh. The sauce tasted homemade, sweet sausage slices and tender, crisp green peppers with a crunchy but not over baked crust. BEST pizza we’ve had in a long, long time! Arrived really quickly and was still quite hot. We highly recommend RINO’S!!
Great selection of pizza and always great service.
WOW!!! I was blown away by the food and the service here. Kyle was exceptional. PIZZA WAS GREAT.
Great place to grab a slice after running or riding the trails in New Paltz. The guys a really friendly and accommodating. Relaxed atmosphere, pizza was delicious and the GF garlic nots were on point. Though we didn't get to eat in there is a really nice portion of the restaurant for sit in dining. Definitely looking forward to stopping here again.
I was overwhelmed with the options for slices and luckily Kyle was there and recommended some great choices!
We were traveling through the area and stumbled upon this quaint Italian restaurant. The kids loved the meatballs and garlic knots. The pizza was good as well. They have specials and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The last few years in particular they have taken their game to a new level. The Jersey Tomato Pie is exceptional!
Rinos is hands down the best pizzeria in town especially if you are looking for a penne allá vodka dinner. They have the best garlic knots. The workers always go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied.Staff is awesome!
I order from here once or twice every week and it’s By far the best pizza in New Paltz and rivals that of New York City. They make all their own sauce’s in house And the pepperoni pizza is straight fire. I’m also a huge fan of their chicken cutlets. I also love the fact that they are always here faster than they say they will be even when things are jammin.
Rino's has the BEST pizza and pasta dishes around! The owners and staff are friendly, professional and offer exceptional service! We LOVE to eat here!
Great tasting pizza with authentic sauces and high quality ingredients, clean and modern deco. Very friendly staff. A must-stop at New Paltz.
Best pizza by far I have ever had, grew up on pizza from the Bronx and this place blows it out the water by far! Come here for your pizza fix the guys know what they are doing and really show great hospitality and care for the food and the customers
Moved up here from North Jersey and I have to say this food tastes like back home.I highly recommend their rib eye cheesesteak fully loaded and their cannoli. Lastly the staff are extremely friendly, if you haven't tried them go check this place out. How you Doing lol!!!!!
My absolute all time favorite pizzeria Their garlic knots are the best ever ..of any pizzeria ...period. Their grandma pies are EXCELLENT Their strombolis are fantastically balanced Their calzones are on this same level of greatness All the staples of a pizzeria are unequivocally superior Their top topping ; I vote eggplant ..some places it can be sub par But as with the rest of their execution and ingredients ; top notch 🏆 So sad I moved from NY when I think of what I am missing Please Charleston SC needs a Rino's South How bout it 📍🌐🌊🏖️🤤🧄🍅🍕
This place is always our go to on the way back north from the city! Great pizza but even better service! Always so nice! Wish it was closer to home but we make it a point to stop any time we are near! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️
If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience without leaving Pine Bush, Rino Deli and Restaurant is the place to be. On a Friday night, this spot comes alive with the sounds of classic Italian music, the aroma of fresh espresso, and the sight of homemade pizza being pulled from the oven.( pizza only on Fridays) From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've stepped onto Arthur Avenue. The shelves are stocked with Italian staples like soppressata and fresh mozzarella, and the deli counter is a dream for any Italian food lover. The pizza? Absolutely phenomenal – crisp, flavorful, and clearly made with care and tradition. But what really sets Rino apart is the warmth and authenticity. Rino’s mom is in the back helping out, bringing a true family-run feel that’s both comforting and genuine. Pine Bush didn’t just get a deli – it gained a slice of Italy. Bravo to the Rino family for bringing such heart, flavor, and heritage to the community.
Rinos is hands down my favorite pizza place! I’m a regular at lunchtime, and every time I visit, I’m impressed by their incredible selection of delicious, fresh slices. The staff, especially Kyle, are always super friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the overall great experience. They’re one of the few pizzerias that’s embraced the hot honey trend, and it’s a total game changer—adds the perfect kick to every bite. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or enjoying a full meal, Rinos never disappoints!
without a doubt the best pizza in the area, crew very plesant n extremely friendly!! having grown up with new york city pizza, which was until now the BEST!!! This is now the BEST!!!!
As usual the pizza was outstanding. I recently discovered Sesame chicken pizza, it is wonderful!! Everything we ordered was great, several dinners, pizzas and salads. Great food at a great place, always polite and helpful. I asked the young men to help me to the car and they carried everything with smiles on their faces.
Gosh where do I begin? This place warms my heart! Best pizza in New Paltz. Best garlic knots I’ve ever had! But to top it off, the service and genuine care go above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. I run a rock climbing nonprofit for people with disabilities and after a day of climbing we needed pizza. Rino’s was incredibly generous and hosted us effectively, patiently, and kindly. With rain clouds above, we show up like a mob, canes, walkers, wheelchairs and dirty beat up climbers. The service and accessibility was fantastic! It has been a huge struggle to find an accessible and inviting place to feed these trips. Huge shout out to this place!! Nothing says buy local then the people that don’t just make great food but put the love and care behind the community.
Probably the best pizza in the mid-Hudson region. Crust and sauce are perfect. I get a slice about once a week at lunch and it never disappoints. Mushroom grandma slice (or eggplant) are favorites, and the garlic knots are pillowy and delicious. Staff are always nice and attentive, seriously couldn’t ask more from a pizza place.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PIZZA ! My then fiance, now wife attended college there in the mid-late 1970's. We ate a lot of pizzas back then.,,,,,,,,,,,NONE compare to Rino's. We make a day trip there twice a year just to walk and reminisce and each trip begins with a pizza at Rino's. Keep up the great work ! UPDATE May 2023..........returned yesterday for one of our day trips to New Paltz, FIRST stop was Rino's (see our new photo). As we walked in we were greeted by the owner who even remembered that we like the GrandMa's pie with eggplant and mushrooms. Added the pesto on this order. Fantastic pizza, friendly staff, clean dining room..............Rino's offers it all. Looking forward to our next trip down in the fall !
I moved back to New Paltz a few months ago and I got a voucher for a free pie to welcome my daughter and I back to the area. Pizza was great. My original review about voucher was about 2 years ago in October of 2022. It is now December 2024 so I had to update the post and add more info about their food especially their wings they are meaty and not dry very flavorful I got mild and sesame chick they weren't to pricy and their food comes out hot and on time.
First time having this pizza. It is very good as a foldable pizza.
Food is delicious but the music in the restaurant is worse than the pizza served at Perry’s. It would be nice if they added personality to their music choice.
Would love to take a pic but we ate the whole pie 😂 was sooo good 👌🏾 best pizza in all of new paltz ❤️‼️
Great local pizza shop. Their grandma pie is exceptional. Great crust balance and flavor. It reheated very well and stayed crisp. My only constructive feedback is that it was a little salty and I am a salt guy. But exceptional At that.
Really good pizza and very nice staff. Tonight was my first entrée. Chicken and broccoli Alfredo. So disappointed. The dish was dry and there was only a thimble of broccoli in it. I didn’t eat half and threw the rest away. Oh and ersatz bread. Back to great pizza! Take out.
Ordered a medium white with broccoli and a large NY style with pepperoni. Both pizzas tasted good but were soggy as hell. Sometimes pizza will flop a little and that's fine, but my NY style was exactly the same as the regular pizza. NY style you want that thin, crispier crust but it was just as floppy as the regular. Couldn't even fold it. If you can't fold it it's not a NY slice.
My bf ordered take out. It was fine, but the buffalo chicken definitely was not buffalo. It tasted like thousand island or something? And the garlic knots were raw :(
Wasn’t impressed by pizza. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t that into the dough for grandma slice or the amount of grease and flop on regular slice. Staff was nice
My fiancé & I were looking for the best pizza in the area. This was the consensus number 1 place, I beg to differ. I don’t think there is any way you can possibly give this pizza shop above a 3 star. Price does not equate for the quality. I don’t want someone else seeing this rated as a 4.6 star & then pay an arm and a leg for pizza that is not up to par.
Our Margherita pizza was closer to a cheese pizza. It didn't have enough marinara sauce, no fresh mozzarella, and a pretty mediocre crust. Wasn't really worth the price. Bacon ranch fries were tasty though.
I’m sorry but the pizza is way too thick. The sauce was great though. But the dough is so crucial to a good slice that I have to leave a low start review for it. The garlic knots were also undercooked in the middle but had good flavor otherwise. Maybe the Sicilian pizza is the thing to get here. The price was pretty reasonable compared to other places in NP.
I ordered a margherita pizza last week, and they only put 2 small pieces of fresh mozzarella on it. Literally 2 pieces. When I called and asked about it, the person who made the pie told me “maybe it all blended together”. Ok first of all, since when does a margherita have shredded mozzarella to begin with, let alone enough of it to “blend” in with the fresh mozz. Secondly, how dare you insult me by thinking that I wouldn’t notice the difference? To Rino’s credit, they offered me a free margherita, which I got today. Full of optimism, I brought it home and opened it up. This time: not a single piece of fresh mozzarella. Then I began to think...maybe they don’t know the difference between fresh and shredded mozzarella? Or maybe their version of a margherita for some bizarre reason contains shredded processed cheese? So I look up their menu. Sure enough, the ingredients are “homemade marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil” (they spell it margarita).
Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and well i show up its ready i pay and leave open the box There isn't a single drop of Buffalo sauce. It was the worst barbecue chicken with red sauce and of course i was working to i already left so then i found the mearest dumpster and threw it out mad as ever and oh yah pizza and a salad 38 dollars never again.
Ordered yesterday 2 pies. One buffalo chicken and a half pepperoni half cheese for people at my job. Unfortunately the bottoms of the pizzas were half burnt and it tasted like bbq sauce instead of buffalo sauce. I ended up wasting 45 bucks on it and threw away the pizza. I’ll try Rocco’s and hopefully they are better.
Food sucks. Waste of time and money. Rocco’s across the street is way better. That, Pasquale’s, or of course A-Pizza.
Pizza is tasty, but customer service is too bad. We ordered some pieces of pizza, me and my friends are choosing some beverages, then the female cashier seems impatient as she is frowning and said: pay together? I don’t understand why, but I think at least you do not need frowning because that a mean look, still uncomfortable about it because we chose this store as it got high point, but in turns NOT. Very disappointed.
Honestly, I don’t know how they get a 4.6. I didn’t even wanna give it one star the sauce is terrible. Pizza was so bland.
Portions have been getting smaller and smaller through the years. Toppings also have gotten less and less. Their prices keep going up and up. Not worth the money due to the small sizes in both toppings and overall pie size. Rocco’s gives you much more toppings and pizza for your money.
I told my wife about Rino's since it was recommended by a friend. Today she decided to surprise me with a large pizza so I dived in just to discover that the crust was so burnt that I thought I was eating charcoal. You deflated my expectations and now I am looking for something else to eat.
