I took ikebana class with my partner for an anniversary event and it was very nice. Also professor was inspiring and she was knowledgeable, making the art form approachable and meaningful. Her clear guidance and thoughtful feedback fostered creativity while deepening my appreciation for ikebana’s beauty and philosophy. An unforgettable experience! In addition, the professor was very sweet kind and funny and easy to approach. 🥰

My hubby and I have been taking Junko’s classes for over a year, and we have had a great experience. She always keeps her classroom clean, and charges a reasonable price despite the inflation. She personally designed the ikebana master class catering directly to my hubby and my interests. We started with the ikebana beginner classes, and moved to learn the Western styles, and then are now going back to the ikebana advance classes with fusion styles. Each class is about 2-hour long and she will give a general direction and demonstrate techniques and leave most of the time to let us run wild with our imaginations with our own arrangements and practice techniques. In the meanwhile, she will watch and give us feedbacks. What I love the most about her is that she really cares about her students and taking a class with her always feels like a rendezvous with a dear friend. Learning with lots of encouragement truly pushes us to our better potentials.

Had a great time here for the Ikebana course. Junko is so kind and gave us detailed introduction of the history of Ikebana and the techniques. Got the cherry blossom today perfect for spring!

TLDR: Hell's Kitchen location of a famous sandwich shop from Tuscany. HUGE handhelds, personal favorites are the Boss and L'Inferno. I've never been to the one in Florence but there's quite a few locations in the city now. What they specialize in is a Tuscan bread known as "schiacciata" which they make sandwiches with. It's somewhat similar to a focaccia but thinner and crisper with less sponginess. The Boss has pecorino/truffle cream, cheese and Tuscan prosciutto. L'Inferno is a shaved porchetta sandwich with nduja, eggplant, arugula - for me it's a bit lighter but packed with flavor. I've been to the shop and also have gotten it delivered, it travels well. The sandwiches are large and if you're not a big eater; you could probably share this with someone. The pro move is to get two and split them. If you go in-person you can see them make each one to order. Solid place for a good sandwich.

All’Antico Vinaio in the US was such a great surprise, especially because they actually offer gluten-free options, unlike in Italy. The gluten-free focaccia was absolutely incredible. I had the one with pecorino, pistachio cream, and mortadella, and it was truly out of this world. The staff was friendly, everything was served quickly, and although there’s usually a line, it moves fairly fast. The only thing that could be improved is the location itself: having more seating available would definitely make the experience even better. Overall, still a fantastic spot!

I didn’t think there was too much you could do to a turkey sandwich but I was dead wrong! Their Turkey sandwich was amazing! Think Turkey on steroids! If you are looking for a good Italian sandwich All’Antico Vinaio's is the place to go, fresh baked Tuscan schiacciata bread and very fresh ingredients, you won't want to go back to any of the American sub shops after you try this. I personally dont think they have a bad sandwich on the menu! This particular location is busy but worth the wait.

Great takeaway sandwich spot. I cannot easily recommend a sandwich as you yourself need to learn which cold cut is your favorite. All are done well here in my opinion. The main reason is that the bread is airy but calorie-dense and the vegetables are fresh. The meats also have the right amount of moistness. So it's a solid sandwich. Be wary, I consider this to be a two-person sandwich. I will eat half and then eat the other half four hours later.
