Order P5! Best chicken pesto panini sandwich I ever had!

I was in Tribeca today and stopped by for a salad and fresh cucumber juice. The salad bar was full of extremely fresh ingredients and the juice was so tasty. I didn't get a hint of other vegetables and fruits in my juice like I do at other places that don't clean their juicing machines. The staff wore gloves and masks the entire time. They didn't rush me even tho it took me forever to decide what to get, the whole menu sounds so good! Will definitely be returning.

I frequent this place a lot and mainly go to the restaurant, but the last few times have ordered through Uber Eats. The food both in the restaurant and via delivery are phenomenal! Their meatloaf is the best I’ve had in Manhattan, and their paninis fresh and flavorful! You must try their breakfast and desserts too. Whatever you decide, you will not be disappointed.

Staff are very friendly and greeted me when I came in. The food is unreal here. I sat down and ordered an egg sandwich around 9 am- 9:30 on 3/14/19 and I have to say I had the best egg sandwich I have ever had in my life here. It was unreal, so kudos to the chef that made it. You really know how to make a kickass breakfast sandwich. Highly reccomend this place and will be back when I come this summer.

I was looking to have a very specific birthday meal delivered to a friend and it was a leap of faith to order from a place in NYC that I knew nothing about. I can't say enough nice things about Benvenuto. The meal was delivered exactly as ordered. I'm told everything was delicious and the bisque was even still hot. Stella takes customer service to a new, higher level. I look forward to eating at Benvenuto the next time I'm lucky enough to visit New York City!

Amazing good food, that I’d order over and over again! Their Nova Scotia special bagel is so good and so is their Penne alla Vodka, extra spicy. Everything you order is always top notch, great quality. Quick and easy! Always recommend!

Philly is a MUST Working overnight shifts always leaves you with limited options of getting food. EVERY SINGLE TIME I order food whether it's their chicken fingers, sweet potato fries or my go-to Philly Cheesesteak.. (or all three) everything is amazing. Always on time, if not earlier than expected, delivery. This is my first review on anything and the food was THAT good I had to make it known. Also, the nachos are insane..great for sharing if you're into that.

Great late night spot! I went about 11PM on a Wednesday. There were a few people there but took my order right away. The two workers were friendly and my panini was made fresh. Tasted great and reasonably priced also! Definitely recommend!

This place is very amazing and authentic the staff who work in this place are very professional and very welcoming. One of the best cafe in downtown. I recommend this cafe if you want a quick breakfast or lunch, and the best part is they are 24/7 so you can stop by anytime you want my best experience was their yogurt you must try their yogurt. The best chicken parm you ever will have is here!! I don't know what they do to the chicken, but it is AMAZING and so tender. Great ratio of chicken sauce and cheese + soft bread. The french fries are also sooo yummy. I ate here with my boyfriend and he had accidentally spilled most of his fries on the floor, and the staff so generously gave him new ones (thank you again!!!) I've heard the chicken caesar wrap is also incredible. I saw some chicken fajitas go by, which smelled and looked delicious. At first glance, the deli counter might have you think this is just a deli, but I can assure you it is so much more than that. I can't wait to come back!!

Stopped in for a quick dinner on New Year's Eve and loved every minute (and bite!) The staff was friendly and helpful, but it's the burger they made that will haunt my dreams forever... in a good way. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The cheese fries I ordered on the side were just as good, mainly thanks to the beautifully accented toasted cheese. Prices weren't too bad, either. Stop on in and see for yourselves, you won't regret it!

This was our first time visit to New York. With so many wonderful flavors to experience in this wonderful city, we were wanting something simple on a late Saturday evening. What a delicious choice we made. The cheeseburger was exceptionally fantastic as was everything else we sampled. The smoothies are fresh and tasty and the french fries were the best I have ever had! The staff was friendly and stayed busy making sure everything was in its place. Even the bicycle delivery guys stayed busy while their orders were being prepared. Prices were normal New York range and well worth it. Will be visiting this establishment on our next visit!

I have been going here for years and throughout the pandemic and I am beyond shocked to see some of the more recent reviews. It is an obvious attack on the store and their livelihood during this difficult time. These people should be ashamed of themselves. They follow all protocols (masks, cleanliness, social distancing) the manager tony is a great guy always kind and curious as are the owners and other staff. On another note the food is amazing and delivery is always on time. Will always be back!

Great place! Amazing selection, more than fair prices and lovely people

It's my first time trying Benvenuto Cafe and it surely won't be my last. I got their Pan Seared Tuna salad and it is hands down one of the best salads I've ever eaten for lunch. I can't wait to try more things off of their menu.

Last night Stuyvesant Theater Community went to Benvenuto Cafe for our cast dinner, and they were absolutely amazing. We had a group of 20 people, and they immediately accommodated the large group, even bringing out an extra table so we could sit comfortably. The staff was extremely kind to us and the service was amazing - they managed to bring out all 20 meals within 20 minutes! The food was amazing too, we especially loved the Hot Cider and the cheese fries. Overall it was a great experience and I would absolutely recommend Benvenuto Cafe!

Great food, great price, great atmosphere

I had their poached pear arugula salad with grilled chicken. It was a huge salad and super affordable for the area and tasted great. They have nice outdoor seating and they are friendly too.

The staffs were very nice and friendly. The bathroom was clean. Very nice to grab a coffee and food for a quick lunch or snacks.

The best spot for a late night feed in Tribeca. Service is great and fast and the food is made ready to order and so fresh. Have come here after a late flight into NYC twice and it never disappoints. Get the Caesar salad and a panini.

The Panini sandwiches are GREAT! They had like 15 different panini options. I had the panini sei (Italian for six) for lunch for 10.07 USD and it was delicious! 🥪Can’t wait to try the other ones! The picture below shows half of it. The other half was already in my stomach. 🤤 For additional 3 USD you can have a soup 🍲 of your choice - but I’m not the soup guy but friend of mine said it was good as well. Additionally, they have gluten-free options! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 During lunch hours is crowded tho, but at the end it was worth the wait.

Their eggs benedict has no business being this good. 10/10 homefries were also a 10/10 nice and crispy.

Thought it was just another bodega style cafe, but I was totally wrong. Was greeted by a pile of sizzling hot chicken cutlets that looked amazing. I got a panini and it was so good! I’m picky about meat but the grilled chicken was great. Everything was fresh and the bread was amazing and crunchy. Making this my new go to. Keep up the good work :))

Benvenuto Cafe was the best restaurant🏬we have been to in a long time. The workers were kind and welcoming☺️, and the atmosphere is amazing for families like mine. My papa and sister had the Make-Your-Own salad, and both said it was great. The toppings and greens were all fresh😁🥬 My papa even got the hard-boiled egg he had been wishing for for weeks🥚My mom had the Tres panini, which was, and I quote, “rich, the bread was greatly crusty, and the cheese was perfectly melted.”🧀 I had the Meatballs pasta🍝😋 which had the most exquisitely creamy marinara sauce, and the meatballs were just perfect! All in all, the food, service, and atmosphere!❤️😋

Outstanding paninis in Tribeca in a nice clean space. I came on a weekend and it was pretty chill although it can get packed during the work week. I came for their famous P5 and boy, does it ever deliver! Absolutely delicious combo of chicken and pesto mayo in a ciabatta! So good!!

Food is good. You can tell it’s made fresh and clean. Service is good but my only real complaint is that prices are a bit expensive for the amount you get. Not the best value for your money but if you’re in the area it’s not a bad choice.

Benvenuto is a great Cafe with a wide range of options and obviously this restaurant is in tribeca so it’s pricy, my two issues are that the staff is always in a hurry to provide the service weather it’s the guy making the sandwich or the cashier guy in a hurry. Twice today they partially messed up on the order notes I provided. I believe that the workers are good but they seemed to be in a hurry due to management constantly watching them. They are still a tasty restaurant and probably will be back

An actual quiet sit in cafe with plenty of seatings and it's really open 24hrs day, not even that far away from the neighborhood, nice long stroll especially when the weather great outside or nice little bicycle ride? I had to check it out. This is a terrific chill late night spot, not too rowdy or obnoxious crowds, I dunno if it's even a good idea to even leave a review here and blow up this spot, I might decide to delete it later. There always something ready to nibble on hot or cold or you worked up an appetite while quietly studying or reading or just chilling with friends. It's sooo much more toned down here in the area compared to other local spots very close by. Just to give you an idea of some of the folks that stop by, people were ordering salads late at night, in fact, when I got here it was past 1:30am, surprised to see pleasant folks were already dining in with plenty of seatings still available and the overnight crew working the counter and kitchen got great taste in music. Lol, maybe it's just them playing Pandora algorithms I dunno but soon as po-po rolled up to grab something to go, literally Rage Against the Machine Bulls on Paradise started playing when they came in 🤣😂🙃, it's the little things in life you got to pay attention to, you might miss em. Limp Bisquet next on cue? Not a fan but to each their own. It's right up the block on the corner up from the back exit of BMCC North Moore Street, the exit next to the MSA musallah if it's still there. This place of course didn't exist back then, if I remember correctly, it was something else, I think it used to be a posh upscale restaurant or was it next door not sure but at that time, they needed little bit of work to be done. So much memories all around here, even back then, whole area was always something else, it's Tribeca area after all, lots of big brains, lots of big money, always work orders to fix things or update and you'll catch artists around here too. When you think they couldn't make this whole area anymore better, bam, decade plus later, they, the invisible engineers, architects, landscapers, all the urban planning, centralized and decentralized coming together outdid themselves again.

I often order from here and I would always recommend this spot, place is open 24/7, the food options I’ve got were always good and they deliver themselves! No need for 3rd party delivery apps with all those extra fees, however as prices are going up so some things aren’t worth getting to me anymore, ex. you would think you get more mozzarella sticks since the price went up for it but you don’t, and $15 for 6 sticks is absurd to me. Wouldn’t get their onion rings either as it’s way bigger and crispy than I usually like but to each their own. I recommend their salads, stuffed potato with bacon & cheddar and their tex mex nachos

Pasta is not bad, but carbonara doesn’t have parmesan cheese. Ambulante was fine, chicken is tender. Smoothie is great - fresh and not over sweet. Staff is kind and acts nice. Pasta cost about $20, but it’s a big meal

Both the salad (the "Yippie") and the smoothie (PB & J) I had were refreshing and fantastic! The price point was affordable and there were many good options on the menu, making it hard to choose just two things. I can't believe they're open 24 hours! Most of the time, you think of diner food being open 24/7, but this place is full of healthy options with fresh ingredients. I would definitely recommend.

Beware of poor customer service and stone face garbler. Must have had rude bosses because he is rude. Doesn’t understand English. Struggles to take custom order and disrespectfully does not pay attention and acts rudely for one to repeat their-self. The man literally said sorry, with crazy bass over a food order and referred me to the menu when I knew exactly what I wanted. Food looked decent too bad it was not even what the man garbled and not even what I ordered.

Very disappointed in the meatloaf sandwich I received. There was no gravy and very little onions and red peppers. The ywo small pieces of meat was dry, no seasoning and burned. I ended up throwing in the garbage. It cost me $13.00 for a terrible sandwich. I will not being going back there again.

Great food but...went in just this morning for breakfast and the person that took our order wasn’t wearing a protective mask. They have multiple signs “employees must wear mask at all times”. So I got curious and peered into the kitchen to see who’s in there...and to my surprise the grill man also had no protective mask on. We should be mindful of each others health and well-being. Such a pity, I thought this was going to be the everyday go-to for breakfast...you don’t always get what you want.

We went in here to get warm before our dinner reservation. We ordered tea and pies. My tea was not hot,my peanut butter cream pie was delicious. My family enjoyed their apple pie but their tea we're not hot either. The service was slow, before we sat down they told us the place wasn't serving dinner which we said we were not having dinner. I guess since we didn't ordered alcoholic beverages the management was not that friendly.

I had a good sandwich here but the 2 times I went it was total chaos. These people have the worst service in terms of getting you out when your meal is ordered and made. Forget trying to form a line... They're in desperate need of a traffic control person. I'm never going there again.

I usually LOVE this place - food is great and the staff are usually awesome but today I was served by two incompetent guys who just didn’t seem to understand a thing. I asked them for gluten free bread and they said they didn’t have any which is a clear lie. Also, I saw one of them eating from the salad bowls with no gloves on - really put me off!!

Popped in for a hot chocolate on a cold, windy day. The server was really nice to the couple in front but sighed at my arrival. Even then she kept staring at me so I had to leave a tip (undeserved). I didn't care for her lousy attitude because I really could use a hand warmer drink. I got a hot chocolate which was excessively sweet, very little chocolate and just tasted like warm extra sweet milk (yikes).

I usually order oatmeal and turkey bacon. Specifically asked them to cook the turkey bacon well done and instead I get rare soggy. It's so undercooked it's ridiculous.

I went to this Cafe to try something new outside of Starbucks. After asking my questions in regards to the milk, I was told my drink would be almost $8 dollars. I looked at the menu and that was totally wrong! The latte alone cost 3.95. I let them know and some guy said “oh the menu is not updated” and the cashier said “well you added almond milk”. It seems they were being racist and targeting me as an African American women since all the other customers got the menu prices. Needless to say I paid around $5.30 which I still may have been ripped off. I will not be returning due to the injustice in which this cafe now represents to me. Oh and the chai was not good but what do you do...on to the next one.

I ordered from here through ubereats, so maybe that was the issue. But I’m sick and needed chicken noodle soup and received what I am 99% sure was just canned Progresso soup. The chicken was tough, the noodles were exactly like in the canned soup, and the veggies were soft and mushy. I’ve never been so disappointed with food. Thank you for making my cold even worse.

HORRIBLE experience. So angry, I'm not even hungry anymore. I should have read the reviews before ordering from this place. I was told my food would come in 20 minutes. After an HOUR, I called the place and they told me the delivery guy left "a while" ago. I went downstairs to see if he was here. He eventually arrives, doesn't look at me, and went to the doorman. I asked "are you delivering for Francesca?" He completely ignored me. Couldn't speak a lick of English. Didn't have any idea where he was or what he was doing. The doorman looked at me and gave me my food. The delivery guy just walked out. Completely incompetent. They need to hire some delivery guys that have a brain. That would probably help.

We just ate here, food is decent. Unfortunately we were charged for two small soups 7.50 with the purchase of two paninis- they have a sign $ 3 soups with paninis combined. When I asked the manger Tony that I ordered the combo, he said if you eat already your soup I cannot change it. But that is what I ordered. I was overcharge for two soups and they did not want to correct it. Disappointed! Will not come here again.

Today 1/21/25 I order bacon, egg, cheese on a roll with a $20.00 bill and the new girl they got give me back change as if I gave a $10.00 bill. Unfortunately, this is not the first time she screwed up the order but now the second time. So I said to the new girl cancel the order and just give and give me back which should of been the $20 but I will settle for the $10 dollar bill and never return. The owner of the place said I have cameras to prove you wrong and said please review the cameras. He did NOT do that instead I took photo of me and Threatened to call the cops. I responded "PLEASE DO CALL THE COPS". while this conversation was taking place a women who was watching all this stated " YES I DID SEE YOU GIVE THE HER THE $20 DOLLOR BILL". So there was an I witness who confirm MY statement. Therefore, be forewarned for a possible deceitful artisan at the counter.

Very disappointing and dissatisfying experience. I placed an online order for chicken Caesar salad, I didn't think I needed to read the order description since a chicken caesar salad is pretty standard every where you go. I placed this order because I wanted a chicken caesar salad, you know chicken, romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese and of course Caesar dressing. I was disappointed when I took a bite and it was just a salad with Chicken in a wrap. Since this isn't what I wanted I brought it back to the cafe and they said it would be refunded to my account. This happened on August 22, today September 18, I still have not received the refund. I sent several emails to their orders email address and the info email address but haven't received any sort of acknowledgment. I will be sure to never order lunch from their again.

The Spanish woman in the morning on the weekends acts like she has an attitude every time I come in there. When a white customer comes in there’s definitely a change in the customer service the employees give. Bad customer service with overpriced food.

Horrible service. The impatient employees gave my mother an attitude for absolutely no reason at all. She wasn’t being a Karen or impolite-she literally just ordered a sandwich and they gave her a nasty attitude. On top of that, they served us a pathetic, dry sandwich that reminded me of public school lunch food. ONE piece of lettuce, one sliver of turkey, one piece of American cheese cut up by hand and spread out. $12 later I’m sitting here with a sour taste in my mouth from the way the workers treated my mom and I, and nothing to show for it but dry bread and stale cheese. Save your money. Avoid this shameful establishment at all costs.

I parked in front of this cafe, a worker came out and used their electric snow shovel to clean a space on the sidewalk for their bike messengers and destroyed my vehicle with snow, ice and debris. He literally aimed the thing at the side of my truck. 0 common decency for others.

1/11/26 7:45pm Food is great. but never going back. There are waves of racial prejudice underlying the service interaction . Scoffs , eye rolls and sarcastic tones at very simple request. I was extremely uncomfortable and didn’t feel welcome to sit down to eat my food in the restaurant. If you are family of Caucus origins you will be met with a frictionless experience. I work nearby and complained to coworkers who confirmed that’s how the cashiers-cooks are sometimes. Yeah. Never going back , if you are of African descent spend your $15 elsewhere.

I'm really disappointed with this restaurant. The service leaves much to be desired: the staff lacks smiles and friendliness, and the welcome is clearly inadequate. I got the impression that some employees were arrogant, which made the experience even less pleasant. It's a shame, because good service makes all the difference.

I’ve been coming here for years the food is always great. The service has went down. The guy who makes my sandwich Chris he’s always on the phone arguing. He walked out in the middle of taking my order to talk on the phone. He sounds like he’s on something. I love this place I hope they get better workers.

Probably going to stop coming here. I just got massively skimped on my chicken wrap (banana I ordered as well for scale). I’ve noticed whenever the older gentleman with glasses isn’t there (presumably the manager / owner) the employees see what they can get away with (give out smaller portions / rude to customers). Tonight (Wed 7/9/25 @ 7:30pm) the woman who worked the register was incredibly rude when I ordered and tossed my order at me while mumbling to herself. A few of the other customers looked shocked to see how she was behaving. Kind of upsetting most customers in the neighborhood would spend a few extra dollars for good food but this place has gone downhill over the years.

The food is fresh service is very good. But for a 6. Dollar bacon egg and cheese this is all the bacon you get?.. come on stop cheating your customers. 12/15/2021 went back to give an other try. I went for breakfast again got a shrimp soup and a grill cheese. The price was 26.00 omg. The soup was delicious but only 2 shrimp in the soup.... then the grill cheese nothing special just regular slice bread and cheese... the sandwich alone was . 9.00 for a grill cheese unbelievable how they cheap the customer. Now the food is delicious and fresh but come on just because its Manhattan doesnt mean you get over on your customers. Please someone in the store tell me why a regular slice bread grill cheese is 9.00. No fruit no little soup nothing explain this please.
