The restaurant week menus is 3 course for $45 per person. The portion size is big and food is tasty. For starters we had the salmon fritters, arugula salad; for main we got the branzino and chicken Marsala, both are very good. For dessert there are just two choices: chocolate brownie ice cream or strawberry sorbet. We got both and if you mix the two the flavors are more balanced. Great service as well.
We went to Lido for lunch the day before Thanksgiving 2025 and I must say the food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding! For appetizers, my cousin and I shared the calamari fritti and my husband had the roasted veal meatballs (he ate them in a NY minute and I missed the photo op...). For the main course we had chicken marsala and spaghetti arrabiata. The cocktails (especially the espresso martini and the strawberry lemon drop) were wonderful! Everything we ordered was excellent! The portions were generous to the point that we had zero room for dessert. So, you get delicious food, great service and a generous meal for the money. It was a lovely dining experience and we look forward to returning next time we visit NYC!
Last month I proposed to my boyfriend and surprised him with a special dinner at Lido’s where we had our first date. When planning the occasion I reached out to the restaurant for a reservation. I worked with Bianca, the manager on duty. She was extremely accommodating. We originally planned a reservation for 10 which fluctuated to 15 before all was said and done. The staff were incredible and made the dinner feel like the whole night was about our party. Dan was our main server and kept everything running like clockwork. Even though I was the point of contact for the event, the staff made it feel like I was simply one of the guest attending the party. I could not have asked for better. As always, the food and drink were perfect and the atmosphere, charming. I cannot thank Lido’s enough for helping make the evening unforgettable. Can’t wait to see them again.
WOW!!! I n c r e d i b l e food! Was here for restaurant week. Had the nactarine salad, hangar steak and brownie with ice cream. Every bite was magic. Also try the garlic bread. The price was super reasonable for the quality of the food. The service was high end with new flatware and three servers cleaning and arranging in between courses. Never obtrusive just perfect. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Harlem’s Rarest Gem! From the ambience to the hospitality and the food we were floored. Everything was delicious!! The staff seemed to move seamlessly. This is a definite must go. Our host Ben was a true sweetheart. Add this place to your must do list!!
We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Lido Harlem and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Susannah and her team were absolutely wonderful from the very first planning conversation all the way through to the last guest leaving the restaurant. They were organized, attentive, and genuinely cared about making the evening feel special. The food was excellent across the board, beautifully prepared and full of flavor, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance: lively and bustling, yet still relaxed and intimate enough for conversation. The music added to the vibe without overpowering the room, and the staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and on top of every detail. Our entire group (over 30 guests) had an unforgettable night, and I’m so grateful to the whole team for helping make such a meaningful celebration flawless. Highly recommend Lido for any special occasion, or just a fantastic dinner out.
This establishment is truly exceptional, offering a delightful and memorable experience. My recent visit was occasioned by a birthday celebration. Despite a high volume of patrons, the service staff demonstrated remarkable attentiveness and efficiency, seamlessly accommodating both individual diners and a large party of 37. The culinary offerings were outstanding; my steak and potatoes, while seemingly simple, were prepared with an exquisite artistry befitting a regal dining experience. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, both of whom were genuinely engaging and welcoming. I fully intend to return to "Lido" for future occasions, whether for a romantic evening or a planned celebration, and I highly recommend it to others. It merits the highest possible rating..
Wow, what a great experience. The hospitality here is just so cool. Liam, treated me like I was a great friend. Im so happy I stopped here and will be back with my girl soon. Thank you, thank you and thank you. Nice place very cool vibe!
I used to be a frequent patron at this restaurant and the service and food been always on point. Just moved further away in Harlem so i am not able to go that often anymore. Last night we ordered some delivery and it was one of the best meals Ive had in a while. Keep up the good work!
I went there to have dinner with my friend for his birthday , the service was amazing the lady who seated us and the waiter were both very very nice , the food was great . I love italian cuisine and Lido didn’t disappoint me at all . -The grilled or roasted lamp shops : 8/10 -I forgot the name but it was like a lasagna with eggplant ( it doesn’t look good in the picture but it was super delicious) : 9.5/10 - Tiramisu : 8/10 like the one you have in Rome.
Incredible date night. Attentive staff, and fantastic, well prepared food. It is a fun neighborhood with a lot going on. Good wine list. Tons of wonderful options for food; had two types of salad (arugula and nectarine), mussels, arrabbiata, and eggplant parmesan. Staff was attentive and the food was beautifully presented as you can see in our photos. Only complaint was the constant wafts of refer smoke coming in from the street. No judgement, just would have preferred not to smell it while eating. Still think it’s a great restaurant and do recommend.
Came by as part of a quick weekend trip in the city. I sat at the bar with my best friend. Not only did we have good food and drinks, but the vibe has been EVERYTHING! This is a great place to meet some cool local people. Deon, the bartender, is the best!
Underrated home cooked Italian food in a refined yet unpretentious setting. My hubby and I stop by every time we are in the city and walk away always with our palates happy and impressed. I love the old school flair ambience and the menu is concise and simple. I think it’s one of the better Spaghetti & Meatball dishes. Highly recommend the chicken Marsala as the flavors are just divine. Service has always been attentive and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend this resto enough!
A Memorable Harlem Gem That Keeps Me Coming Back Years ago, I came across this spot on a recommendation—and it left such a lasting impression that I knew I had to return. This recent visit confirmed exactly why it earned a place on my personal list of must-try restaurants. Nestled in Harlem, this restaurant is part of a neighborhood that has seen tremendous change over the past 30 years. While gentrification brings complex emotions, one positive is the emergence of exceptional dining experiences like this. It’s a beautiful reflection of Harlem’s evolving food scene—where history, creativity, and hospitality meet. We visited for brunch and went with the bottomless Sangria and Mimosas. The Sangria surprised me—it was much lighter than expected, with a crisp, refreshing taste. At first, I thought it might be the white version, and the staff didn’t hesitate to bring over both so I could compare. That thoughtful touch set the tone for the entire meal. The service was friendly, prompt, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The white polenta was everything I hoped for—smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. It brought back all the good memories from my first visit. The braised short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender and incredibly flavorful. These are the kinds of dishes that show real care and technique in the kitchen. The atmosphere is just as inviting as the food. There’s a vibrant energy in the space—stylish yet relaxed, making it perfect for everything from a leisurely brunch with friends to a date night or special celebration. Whether you’re a local or visiting New York City and want to explore Harlem beyond the typical tourist stops, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a true gem—where the food is memorable, the drinks are generous, and the service makes you feel like a valued guest. I’ll absolutely be returning again.
Lido in Harlem is a true gem! The atmosphere is wonderfully inviting, and the food is simply outstanding. I have to give a special shoutout to the blueberry pancakes – they were absolutely divine! Perfectly fluffy and bursting with flavor, they were the highlight of my meal. Beyond the incredible food, the service was impeccable, thanks to my server, Alex. They were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Alex made excellent recommendations, ensuring I had a perfect meal, and their timing was impeccable. It's clear they are passionate about providing top-notch service. Alex's professionalism and warm personality made my brunch at Lido truly memorable. I highly recommend Lido to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Harlem, and if you go, be sure to ask for Alex! And definitely order the blueberry pancakes!
This restaurant is absolutely outstanding even at New York standards. It’s worth travelling to. They always make sure your mimosa is topped up. The food is just delicious. The atmosphere is really really trendy and its very diverse. We found a brunch place in the city. Been 3 times. I would love if they added steak and eggs to their menu but the steak Panini is just excellent. This is a true 5 star restaurant. Also to add, they make a smashing espresso martini !!!! The bar man shake up the cocktails in front of you and you can see their magic in action. It’s very impressive.
Stopped by for lunch with a friend who came up from Brooklyn and was reminded of how good this local spot is. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious including the burrata crostini, the kale salad, French toast and bacon (extra crispy just how I like it) and the vibe was homey and comfortable. Will definitely keep coming back.
I brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday and it was also our first time visiting. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and the server made sure to keep them coming. Food was delicious and the restaurant it spacious and super nice. I really appreciate the clean bathrooms as well. Overall 10/10 and will definitely be back to try the dinner menu!
Overall, Lido is a good spot. Everything is good except the calamari which was just ok. No real flavor. The aioli that comes with it is very good though. The sauce for the salmon is really tasty...a stand out for me with the whole dinner. The creamy garlic bread is a good appetizer. Creamy and a not too crunchy. The branzino is tasty and has crispy skin 👍. Could have more vegetables with it. The Tiramisu and warmy bread pudding for dessert were both good. I'd recommend an extra scoop of ice cream as they give one small scoop. The restaurant is pretty tight. Tables are pretty close together. Hard to get in and out when other diners are next to you. Would definitely return here.
LIDO is one if my low key spots that always delivers a good meal with the perfect balance of energy and people. The food is consistently on point and never disappoints. The owners are also super sweet and amazing and definitely care about their customers and their dining experience.
We had a birthday brunch here. The food and the service was great. Loved the decor as well. Around the middle of the lunch the place was almost full house. The air conditions were working nonstop but it was clearly not enough. It wasn't even a hot hot day. We were ok cause we were enjoying the meal and the conversation, but if you want a cool restaurant, be aware. I think it's worth it.
Nice atmosphere and terrific wait staff, but the food was a serious disappointment. My daughter's steak was so tough she couldn't eat it -- and she's not a fussy eater. My salmon was dry and covered in unappetizing creamed spinach. I couldn't finish it. The brownie dessert had no visible brownie in it, so we thought they had brought us the wrong dessert. When we unearthed the brownie from under the small scoops of ice cream it was about 1.5 inches square and almost flat. Our waitress brought us extra brownies from the kitchen for free, but they weren't very good. This restaurant used to be terrific and still has great people working there. But the food isn't worth the visit.
I just gave 3 stars for service and atmosphere since my review is based on delivery, and my main issue is the food. This restaurant used to have top notch food, it here lately, I find myself continually disappointed at the food quality. Something I’ve ordered since the place opened: the Warm Grilled Kale Salad, had become one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. Completely unseasoned, under-cooked and not worth ordering. I also decided to give the tomato risotto a try. It was white rice, with nearly raw cherry tomato halves. And like, 7 of them. I looked up a recipe to ensure I wasn’t just mistaken about what tomato risotto is. I was not. It’s as if someone who doesn’t know the recipes at Lido is making the food. Maybe someone who doesn’t know how to cook Italian cuisine. But as this is my third try after years of ordering some of my favorite dishes in the Harlem restaurant scene I had to say something.
