My girlfriend and I chose Lalla Grill for lunch because it was conveniently located under our hotel. It wasn't too crowded, had a diverse menu, and we got a great window seat. The food and service were excellent! We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend it.

Great view, especially if you’re next to window. Entrees were solid, no complaints. I wouldnt get the chocolate lava cake dessert again though, it was nothing special. Service could be better.

Went to lunch on a Thursday. Got seated right at the floor to ceiling glass windows with an incredible view of the angry Pacific. Started with an Aperol spritz - perfect for a midday lunch drink. I ordered the Jambalaya expecting a routine take on the Louisiana staple. That's not what I got! First hint, its a huge portion served in a soup tureen! It's chock full of mussels, 2 very large shrimp, chicken, andouille sausage and served piping hot and very soupy! It's like San Francisco and New Orleans had a love child and we ended up with a Bouillabaisse/Cioppino and Jambalaya creation that works astoundingly well! I highly recommend this. It's a large portion and can easily serve two. It's also perfect for warming up after a chilly walk around cannery row! Service was very courteous, quick and efficient. Street parking or a public lot a half block away.

We come here for lunch mostly. This feels like a fancy cafe or diner. Large seating area with booths and tables accompanied by a nice heated patio. Dog friendly. Lots of choices on the menu. Not too expensive. They make excellent burgers and chicken breast plates. The nachos are huge, we shared this one. Lots of parking in the Del Monte Center. I recommend to all.

I really enjoyed eating at this location. My Lalla burger was pretty decent but the views from this restaurant are absolutely great. The restaurant is right on the water with a small beach below. Watching the waves crashing, the lines of pelicans flying over the water and a juvenile sea lion bobbing around while enjoying lunch, what else can one ask for. I would come back to this restaurant. Service was efficient but not super friendly, this is something they can work on. Prices are obviously higher here but it may be worth it due to the ambience.

Did not even make it to the table. Rude reception person that did not want to seat us until severs “caught up”. Entry area has full view into kitchen and smelled like dirty water. Very odd.

Met up with family eating here, there was a little bit of issues with dietary restrictions for our party. My dad really appreciated the ocean view here though so would recommend if you want that. The atmosphere was a little too loud for me. I didn’t order a drink but appreciated that they apparently have espresso martinis!

The waitress was not nice, he was like busy and not willing to give suggestions, the beverages were very late And the tip was forced to pay, on my behalf I was not expecting to give any , but the food was ok. It is expensive though

I ordered fish and chips. It was okay at the moment but now I’m about to having a really bad night. I can feel my stomach upset. Maybe too much oil or they didn’t change their oils I don’t know. Their drinks were good but food was definitely overpriced.

Great Oceanside view while you dine. The wait wasn't bad at all. The restaurants decor is very modern as well. We ordered the fish and chips (which needed a tad bit more seasoning) it was hot and fresh. We also ordered the Chicken Alfredo (the chicken was well seasoned but the pasta lacked flavor). We also ordered a Caesar Salad, which I didn't care for because the salad wasn't too fresh and some parts of the salad was brown and withered (which turn me off because it was nasty). My Mocktail was delish!

Honestly, we've been here so many times and this was the first where the food and experience wasnt great and left us super confused as we've been to all Lala's and know the consistency which is what brings us back. It was a super nice evening so we sat outdoors plus I had my little pups with us. Waitress was nice her name I believe was Genevieve If im not mistaken. Super friendly at first. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The appetizers took so long I was a bit surprised at the wait times. My friend ordered drip coffee, Waitress assumed iced which we never said. Waters came out then finally my espresso martini. According to the description there was supposed to be sugar on the rim. But this is just the beginning of how things showed up inconsistently. We ordered the calamari appetizers because of those delicious chili flakes. Perfectly breaded previously. I mentioned this to the waitress and she explained that alot of people have mentioned thats too spicy so they changed the ingredients to include the chilies lightly into the batter. I thought, why in their right mind would they do that when thats a popular item for the Lalas restaurants. But understood that things do change. Not Impressed it was so bland. Someone came out and said you guys need anything else, left me confused maybe they thou6gh we were finishing up but in reality we had just barely finished our appetizers. Hadn't even put in our dinner order Waitress comes back to get our order and I had asked id they could make it without the calamari and if they have to then no tentacles. My friend asked for the same but she didnt mind it either way. So Waitress looked fraseled and said let me check with the kitchen first. She returns only to tell us the because ita busy and your locals the kitchen cant accommodate today but other wise if it wasnt busy they could have sorry. At this point regardless of asking if we would like to look at an alternative options, the orders were already placed. When she came back I asked her if that was the case she said yes.. then said wellllllll this would be the only chance to change it. So, of course it looked like we've now Inconvenienced her so I said you know, its fine thanks anyway. Another lasy comes out and asks if we need anything else which confused us again.. truly it seemed as though she also thought we were finished. I told her ma'am were actually still waiting for our dinner. I did ask her to out in another order of the espresso MartinI because honestly I was not sure how long we would wait. Food comes out, looks delicious. Tasted it but it was too lemony. Like my friend said it tasted like old coconut milk. Risotto was super watery. Not only they removed all calamari from both risotto which we did not ask for, but the taste was off. She came back to check and my friend expressed she was so unhappy. The Waitress said ok let me call a manager. Over 30 minutes passes and she shows up with our bill, drops it at the table and leaves. So we continued to wait. Another staff member came out and we asked him to call the manager because clearly there was some confusion. Our Waitress didnt even take anything of the bill or offer q complimentary dessert for the inconvenience. Long story short she made us feel that because we were locals we were less prioritized. The manager came out, apologized, recognized us because we do come often. Confirmed that the recipe for the calamari has not changed and that the local comment is not acceptable and that they will have a talk with the waitress. He handled it well, removed the foods we were no happy with and kindly handled our concerns as something to really look at regardless of if your a local or not. Service should not depend on such thing. It will be difficult for us to return or recommend this specific Lala as we've never experienced such poor service. Maybe one day we may return but for now, the del monte shopping center one has been consistent since day one. Lastly, we got sick. Thanks to the manager for his understanding. Unfortunately I did not write his name down.

The service was so slow and they took forever to tend to our table. There was black stuff in my water and the waiters were rude and impatient. Once they finally brought my food out it was not what I asked for and when I told them they didn’t redo my order but they brought out all the toppings for me to do it myself. The fries looked and tasted like what I would air fry at home and they were grey ish yellow with too much oil. They had no music playing and the beach view was depressing with little kids and grown adults in the water wearing street clothes.

Crab Louie was disappointing. I ordered no egg and it came with no asparagus and very little butter lettuce and the crab was tasteless. Visually unappealing, looked like someone plopped some kind of flaked crab on lettuce with gross avocado slices. Doesn’t come with any bread or crackers. The toddler’s hamburger at the table next to me looked delicious. The view of the bay was so much better than the salad.

First, they brought a dirty tea cup with traces of someone's red lipstick. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a photo at first because I was so shocked. Then they brought a salad. In the photo, you can see lumps of soil on the leaves. The portions were very small and very expensive. Shrimps were dry and tasteless. I don't think anyone would be happy to eat from dirty dishes or to eat poorly cooked food with pieces of fresh soil. I paid $120 for myself and my wife. I strongly recommend not coming to this restaurant, unless you are okay with this. Read all negative reviews at first. Update. It is already the second day since we visited this restaurant, and my wife still doesn't feel well after that nice dinner from dirty dishes.
