Lenny’s Bagels in Pelham Manor is hands down one of the best bagel spots around! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the smell of fresh bagels coming right out of the oven. The staff is always friendly, fast, and welcoming, even when the line is out the door—which is a good sign of how popular they are. The bagels themselves are perfect: crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, and generously sized. They have all the classics plus some unique flavors, and the spreads are delicious (the veggie cream cheese is my favorite). Their breakfast sandwiches are top-notch—hearty, fresh, and made exactly the way you want them. The shop is clean, bright, and has a neighborhood feel that makes you want to keep coming back. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite in the morning or picking up a dozen for the family, Lenny’s never disappoints. If you’re in the Pelham area and craving a true New York bagel experience, Lenny’s Bagels is a must-visit.
Delicious, Come get it! Don’t let these bad reviews fool you (I almost did). We didn’t experience any of the bad service some other reviewers did… but we did have some incredible bagels! They have a lot of different flavors - I got the “My Ex” (chili pepper) with olive pimento spread - it was great. The wife got a Gluten Free Everything Bagel, and it hit the spot. It’s difficult to find good GF bagels. Highly recommend.
Ever tried an everything bagel so good it puts your ex to shame? Lenny’s Bagels in Pelham has it all! My go-to? A bagel stacked with bacon, egg, and cheese. Plus, their bagel names are hilarious—like “Bad Boy” and “My Ex.” Swing by for a bite of awesome and bagel up your life! #BagelGoals #BreakfastLove #PelhamEats #EverythingBagel #BetterThanYourEx 😎 Lenny’s Bagels 📍4662 Boston Post Rd, Pelham, NY 10803 @westchesterwonders
This is a really great hidden gem, don't let the name fool you. Yes, by far they have the best bagels and home made cream cheese I've ever had, but they also offer amazing sandwiches as well. They also have amazing salads, their chicken salad is to die for, and I assure you that it's all made with great ingredients and even better service. It can get packed at times, but it's more than worth it. This place is a must try....
Food is great here, but don't order through ChowNow! Even though they said "no service fee", their service fee is already embedded into the price of each item. We used to order through ChowNow all the time because it's the first channel available when clicking into Order Pickup, but just noticed it today that their price is 5%~15% higher than Postmates for most of the items. Nevertheless, bagels are always delicious here, with a huge selection of varieties. Sliced Nova with cream cheese bagel is one of our favorites. Even a simple egg bagel with strawberry cream cheese is exceptional.
The food and sandwiches here are always really good especially the breakfast sandwiches and breakfast platters. All of the food is cooked well and the portion size is good as well! Fresh bagels are always good to take on the go, but I have found that whenever I ask a bagel to be toasted, it’s a little too toasted, not burnt, so I usually get bagels and toast at home. My only qualm with this place is that unless it is absolutely empty I often find myself waiting an exceptionally long time for my order. Like a very long time.
Bagels are tasty, staff is nice, but damn, their prices are mad high!
delicious sandwich at a disgustingly high price. Got a bacon egg and cheese with chicken cutlet on a roll for 14$ after tax and tip. Costs me 7.50 at a deli down the street for what is likely a better tasting sandwich. Won’t be going back to that place. Not even close to worth 2x price of every where else
I received my delivery order from here for the first time today. My bagels were wrapped in a thin sheet of what looked like baking paper and then put in a brown paper bag without handles. The bag was so thin that the butter on my bagel leaked through it to the point that I had to dab the bagel with a paper towel upon receipt of my order. Had the delivery driver not had the presence of mind to make sure to hand off a contactless order which was specifically requested to be left on the door handle, he might have had no choice but to leave my order on the floor. I am grateful to him. However, I would suggest that moving forward an appropriate delivery bag should be used and a moderate amount of butter added to the bagel. I was unable to really enjoy my order due to my constant dabbing to deal with the drenched food. In all fairness, if I order again I will ask for moderate toppings because no restaurant should have to read a customer’s mind. Perhaps some people prefer their bagels to have a swim in butter before they eat them. That being said, no customer should have to ask for packaging which at the very least preserves the quality of the food and supports the safe consumption of it.
Food: pretty good. Typical city-like breakfast spot. Have they heard of line cooks though? It’s takes FOREVER to get your food!!! Someone takes your order, then they go make each individual item themselves while they wait for all the other employees to do the same. So now there’s a line of customers and a line of employees waiting for others to be done with the stuff they also need. There should be one person on the grill, one assembling items at the cold station, and one at the bakery/coffee. While one person takes orders and pack things up. It’s absolute chaos. Employees are running around like chickens with their heads cut off scrambling and bumping into each other. It’s stressful to watch honestly. There doesn’t need to be more than 4 people working on food prep. The last time I was in, there were 8. And I’ve never seen 8 people do less work in a more chaotic way. It took 30 minutes to get two breakfast wraps and two coffees.
My significant other and I had an unusual experience at this juice shop today. We went online to pay for a juice, and when it was our turn, one of the cashiers said, “Next,” and waved at the person behind us to take their order. We were confused because we had been waiting to pay, and she didn’t explain why she didn’t take us. We stood in the line, shocked and confused, and another worker simply looked at us and said, “Sorry.” After that, the cashier who ignored us left, and another cashier took the register and told us to come to her. We never interacted with the cashier who ignored us at all! That’s what makes this experience so strange. I will never return to this shop. All the workers seemed miserable, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Came in as a delivery was ignored and given an attitude when I asked where to pick up at. It's understandable that its busy but if theres a line of people trying to get their delivery bags someone needs to assist them. So when I said hi excuse me and the name the lady got the bag was about to give it to me but then another worker who was a guy snatched it out her hand and walked over to me and told me I had to chill that theres only 1 working. He was very rude.
I went to Lenny’s today and for 3 bagels with CC and muffin was $17 and change. My issue is when I swiped my card, the price was $14. Since I was with an impatient toddler, I swiped, said thank you and left. I noticed later that the charge on my card was now $17. So did they just took it upon themselves to select a tip? This isn’t the first time this has happened to me where I pay for one price and later it’s a dollar or two more and I’ve been going to this location for a couple of years. The bagels are good but I don’t think this is a good practice of charging more after I swipe my card. I’m curious to know if this has happened to others, I don’t think it’s an isolated incident
The attitude of the man answering the phone is the worst I've ever experienced! I called to order a bagel platter and the man told me to "Just order it online". When I proceeded to their site, their ordering system was down. When I called back to let them know, the reply I received was a very rude: "There's nothing wrong with our site" which he repeated over and over, not bothering to listening to anything I was telling him. I was buying from them because of the convenience of the location ( the bagels aren't even that good ), but I will never do that again!
Whoever owns this business needs to do something about the man behind the counter. He is always rude. I have been coming here for many years and usually just ignore his attitude, but after my visit yesterday I will never be returning. Who argues with a customer after I simply asked him to put extra ice in my ICED coffee?(THAT WAS SERVED TO ME WARM) Saying he has to charge me for extra ice? Listen i know the economy is bad right now, but charging for extra ice in an iced coffee is wild😂 anyways it shouldn’t be a hassle starting your morning getting a bagel and coffee with an attitude
My wife was sick and we were out or butter so I asked them for some "butter on the side" and when I got my delivery of bagels someone wrote "sorry butter is extra" on the bag. I would have happily paid for the butter. They don't have an option to pay for sides of butter. It was so insulting and the exact opposite of hospitality. I was a loyal customer to them but I will never be going to Lenny's again.
