Foids great and service ......Buuuttttttt...... can you teach your new generation of workers what "ketchup only" means.... all fast food has lost what that means lately. Instead I have to explain what it means to the young ppl who work there.

We eat here about once a week . Always fast service. Food is better than most sit down places you will find . Always a clean place with helpful staff .

We went threw the drive thru and I got the Turkey Gyro. I put some Horsey Sauce on it. It was very good, I think i would Definitely give it a 4.5 Star rating. And for me that's a very high rating.

Everytime they served me since I was a child I was satisfied. Their sandwiches look almost identical to how they advertise them. I can't remember a single bad experience going to Arby's in Potsdam. If you want fast food but something not as unhealthy as McDonald's or 5 guys in Potsdam, go to Arby's.

Love the Arby's staff in Potsdam, New York. They give our dog a doggy bowl while we wait for our food and always aim to please. Keep up the good work you guys👍👍👍

This is mainly just a review of what I saw 11/16/2019 at 12:40pm.. Shift manager younger girl with black with red tint dyed hair She just walked an elderly lady with a cane all the way out into the lobby while carrying her food. Sat her down. Called her by name. This is customer service at its finest as far as fast food is concerned - update. The older woman named rose. Wanted to move tables. So another worker just came out and helped her swap her items over to another table. This is adorable to watch. Im so proud of this local arbys staff.

I love Arbys,, It's not am everyday thing, but occasionally it's good.

The food is reasonably priced the customer service is phenomenal the atmosphere is lively and I'm always treated nicely. I have and will continue to eat here. Great job everyone!

Super good food. They seemed understaffed at lunch hour but still came through great. I had the brisquet sandwich and curly fries and it was awesome. Try the bronco sauce! Thanks Arby's! Your the gem of Potsdam!

I tried Arby's a long time ago(20years) in Seattle and it was sad, with a small thin slice of lunch meat. So I hadn't been back since. My husband convinced me to try it again and I am glad we did. The beef gyro is delicious! And I have never seen a fast food place that fast. You order and out the door in a couple minutes! Always clean inside. The turnovers are also delicious?

I gave a poor review a year or two ago that I've now deleted. I've been consistently pleased with the service ever since that anomaly. The employees are consistently friendly and accurate with filling orders. The young woman that handled my order tonight around 7:15 in particular always does a top notch job and brightens my day.

Great decor, I had a gyro, bread was good but it was not the authentic recipe, the meat was not roasted and it was salty. I will try something else next time.

Love the food here but it seems the service for the counter customers comes second to the drive thru.

I don’t eat at Arby’s often. I had the brisket sandwich and it was great. Service was a lot better that competitor’s.

Place was hazy inside and kinda dirty. Everyone was busy cooking and working counter. Looks to me they need more help. Food was very good like all other Arby's I have visited.

Love the French fries, I dip them in red ranch. I did try a chicken club wrap, it was ok. I'll stick with the beef and cheddar sandwich and fries.

Ordered a few sandwiches at the drive through. The lady was super nice and friendly. And the quality of the food was pretty good I'd say.

I really want to like their roast beef, and I probably wouldn't mind it if I didn't have a tongue. Fried fish sandwich and curly fries are the best in the fast food business!

Service and food was great!!! Only knock was water in the bathroom sink was very cold and the hand dry was cold as well. Again food and Service was great!!

Surprisingly, they always get my order right and have very courteous staff. They even offered me options that weren't on the menu since I'm a picky eater and didn't charge me for the substitution.

Excellent friendly service, good pricing, and perfect stop for family. We had the sliders with curly fries and barq's root beer. There was so much to choose from! Too bad not larger for seating...could stand a few more booths and ordering area too close to door....great otherwise!

Food is always good. Service was meh. When we asked for sauces to go with our take out meal the worker threw them in like it was the hardest thing she had done all day lol.

Same great sandwitches as always. I really love the Jamocha shake, but the curly fries were a bit old. Service was excellent, with a nice young lady helping me (using a cane} get my order to my seat. Housekeeping was very good and overall impression was positive.

Haven't had an Arby's roast beef sandwich in many years (decades actually). Yup .. just like I remember them. Gave up on the poor soul who couldn't hear me via the drive-thru system. So, we pulled around the front and ordered at the counter. Gave 4 stars because I didn't get heartburn. Can't say that about fast food burgers. Curiosity satisfied.

The bathrooms were dirty, the dining room had no clean tables, the trash was full till about the time we left whe n decided to change them, and the tvs were all static. Other wise, we loved going

I wasn't too much of a fan of the way my sandwich lacked in cheese and bacon but was very filling for 2 for 6. My date says she would eat a child in front of their parents for Arby's Roast Beef, so you guys have a life long customer there. Also the fries were pretty yummy.

Facilities are clean and new. Food was typical for Arby's - good. The service was strange. A guy came to take my order after a few minutes (the place was empty), I told him what I wanted and he turned and called to someone else to ask her to take the order. He didn't even punch in what I had already said I wanted. After I ordered, she went and started making a bunch of food while the other guy stood by the window. He took forever to fill the order at the drive thru, and he asked the girl who was cooking to do something else for him too. Meanwhile 2 more people had come in and were just standing there, so the girl stopped making food to help them while the guy did nothing much. One underperforming employee really makes a difference.

The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean & the food was very good, but when the air containing came on it was so cold my 2 year old granddaughter was ready to cry, so we had to pack up our food & leave. The dining room temps need to be comfortable for the customers

Food was hot and fresh with fast, friendly serivce! Would of been 5/5 but you could tell the fries, while fresh, had old frier oil. So the taste was effected.

This Arby's is a good place to eat. I have never had a meal that was not up to my standards as far as fast food is concerned

The staff is very accommodating and ready to assist even when you order something in place of a discontinued menu item. We have always order the Jr near Ulmerton Rd. & Seminole Blvd in Largo, FL & St. Pete. Last week while in Malone we saw an ad for Arby's in Potsdam NY, just wanted a couple Arby's Junior sandwiches only to discover they stopped selling them. They have sliders that the mgr said was not like the Jr, so I got the classic with a side of horsey sauce and a classic beef and cheddar cut in half and without the red sauce, just beef and cheese for my wife. With all of the new meat on the menu, the Junior sandwiches had to go unfortunately. Mixed emotions as the ratio of meat to breading was perfect no matter if we were in college, beginning or middle of our careers, or nearing the end of them. Portion control and frequency 2x a year a couple Arby's Junior sandwiches each spring and fall

Very good. but very messy, the bun falls apart. It was nice and soft, but it was certainly a mess you wouldn't really want to be eating it in your car. But overall, very good, I love the curly fries. And it was pretty tasty for a fast food phillies cheesestake. I think I'll try it again i've always loved airby's decent food, clean restaurant. Good service. Definitely, one of the better restaurants. Check it out. You won't be disappointed, at least.I don't think you will be.

A nice change of pace from burgers. I'm glad they put the chicken cordon bleu sandwich back on the menu. One tip for the Potsdam, NY location - if the guy working the window asks how you are doing, be sure to return the gesture. He gets a little pissy if you don't.

The service was good. The food was somewhat enjoyed by some of us but one was very disgusted by the chetter cheese Roast beef.

We stopped here after golf it was good just a long line at the drive thru so I went inside it was faster.

The food was good but every table was dirty definitely not kept up very well!

Was disappointed at the quality of food we received for the price ,I ordered a cup of cheese on the side and was charged 64 cents for about a tablespoon of cheese in the small container that was only 1/4 full , also I ordered a cookie and it was very hard . Not impressed with this restaurant. This isn't the first time either.

Because I'm saying away from carbs, I got a roast beef sandwich with cheese without the bun. What a mistake. Neither the meat or cheese looked or tasted real. This restaurant needs to up their game if they want to attract the growing number of us learning how to eat healthier.

Some days their food is great. But all to often it seems like the fries are cooked in old dirty greese. Most of the time, we end up sick after eating @ Potsdam Arbys. The prices are a bit high, they tend to put all of the meat on one side of the sandwich. But once in a while, the food is great and does not make us sivk. Their fish sandwich is great, we only buy that when it's 2 for 6 dollars. Their Jamova shakes tho, ON POINT.

Only 4 people working, had to wait 10 minutes before order wad taken and didn't haven't any beef products. No hot water or hot air in the women's bathroom

I’m not quite sure what’s been going on but every time I’ve gone to Arby’s throughout the past 4 months or so, the wait has been absolutely ridiculous. There’s even been a time where I was told to place my order when I was ready, which took maybe a minute. Then I tried to place my order and I had to wait. Needless to say, the wait ended up being so long that I decided to leave. Having to wait upwards of an hour for some fast food is kind of redundant. The food itself has been alright, sometimes a sandwich is cold. They usually forget to put the cheese sauce in the bag after charging you for it, so I’ve stopped asking for it.

No bbq sauce again check your orders before leaving the store they just can't get it right

They were out of alot of items, curly fries especially! I don't like that they charge $3+tax for 2 tiny cups of cheese sauce! That's crazy and expensive. :-( disappointed, and this time when I went I brought my kid's for their first time to go to an Arby's. My son age 8 (almost 9), and daughter age 7 (almost 8). It was a disappointed to all of us, considering my kid's didn't even only barley get enough food to fill their bellies, and yet spent almost $20 on the 2 kid's. 😡😤😠

I really like the food here, but the service has many problems. I've had parts of my order completely ignored, yet still paying full price, and them being "out" of every item. And tonight, when I went there, the place had nobody inside, nobody was in the drive-through window, and the lights were still on. All of them. This was at 6:30, too. A place that supposedly closes at 10, closed at 6:30. Something better have happened, but I doubt that, due to the previous issues.

The Philly Steak sandwich with roasted vegetables was pretty good, as were the curly fries. Liked the unsweetened iced tea option for a beverage and the restrooms were clean. The dining room temperature, however, was way too cold. I wasn't the only one shivering from the cold, as I looked around. When I mentioned this issue to the staff, the claimed they were told not to play with the A/C controls. Seems like the local staff should have the authority to bump the temperature up or down a degree or two.

I had the French Dip, for the 2nd time within the past 6 weeks at this location and was very disappointed in the Dip. The sandwich itself was satisfactory but when I dipped the sandwich into the dip, the dip had absolutely no flavor. When I smelled the container, I could smell wet cardboard & plastic from the lid. So then I tasted the liquid. I really couldn't detect any flavor to it at all. The sandwich was very tasty but the liquid just didn't have any real flavor to it. I have powdered beef broth packets and I added 1 and half of a second one to the brown colored water I received with my sandwich to get something that I would want to dip my sandwich in. A few weeks ago I had another sandwich where the broth was weak but still edible. I had been addicted to these because of how good the dip was. And at this location as well! What happened?

Food was okay asked for light aoli on the new philly steak sandwich for my mother and they overloaded it with aoli. The person at the window was visibly angry and had a lot of attitude.

Went there tonight ( new years eve after fireworks) nice polite kid working, ordered bunch of food. Most of it was ok but got 1/2 mile down road to find out the fries were ice cold like leftover old ones. Went back and they remade them and handed me the bag. Drove away to find the containers about half full, lol definitely wont be returning to this location. I guess they get the help they pay for 😆

Order taking staff was very friendly. Potato cakes were hot and fresh. Arby's regular beef sandwich was warm but not hot. Back door was not working. Ladies room had one stall not working. What else wasn't working? Couple tables were not clean. I was just passing thru so maybe I caught them on a rough day.

You will leave smelling like a fryer. They were out of stock of most Coke products. Ordered premium chicken nuggets they take a while to cook. Unfortunately the roast beef sandwich I ordered didn't. My order sat on a tray cooling off while the rest was prepared.

I realize I was there during the lunch rush, so I have to accept that there will be some degradation of quality due to the lack of time available to repair my meal. However, my salad was crushed, limp, and didn't fill the cup like it should, and my sandwich was caustic in places due to the overabundance of sauerkraut in the Reuben. Take a look at the salad in the picture. Doesn't that look as sad as a wet kitten? I enjoy Arby's. Unfortunately, this place has been failing to meet expectations most of the time when I go there. For example, early this Autumn I went in and got a chicken cordon bleu sandwich. There was no swiss cheese, but there was a super abundance of mayonnaise. How much mayonnaise? Well, to put it directly it made me almost throw up when I tried to take my third bite. No, that's not hyperbole or exaggeration in any way, shape, or form. I dry heaved and my dining companion asked if I was okay. I went to the counter to get a sandwich replacement. They were extremely apologetic and hurried through making a second sandwich. I sat down, open the box, and immediately returned to the counter because my chicken cordon bleu sandwich was missing the chicken. Take a moment and let that sink in. I had gone from a fried chicken and mayonnaise sandwich to a mayo on white, hold the chicken. My third sandwich had a generous but tolerable level of mayonnaise and I finished it. As to why I keep going back, sometimes I don't have a lot of time to eat and I get tired of eating Burger King and McDonald's. In any case, it's okay. It's something different from the immediate competition, but I strongly recommend you avoid it during the lunch and dinner rushes.

They had no cheese sauce for the fries or for the beef and cheddar. Gave me a brisket sandwhich which I didnt order. Not very pleased. First time they ever messed up my order.

I’m very disappointed in my experience today. After placing my order in the drive thru I was asked to park and wait for my food. Along with several other cars before me. I waited over 15 minutes for my food. The staff had no clue what we order. Then after finally receiving my order I was blocked in the parking lot and could not leave due to the cars waiting in the drive thru. If you do not have the space to park people and you are already behind on orders. It’s probably best you don’t.

Arby's in Potsdam was quick and the staff super friend. However, the curly fries were cold and rubbery and the classic cheddar beef just tasted funny. I don't know if it was the cheese or the sauce or the meat but something was a little off.

The au jus that came with my French dip sandwich was nasty. Since when is au jus dip thick? It was also bitter and extremely salty. What was wrong with beef broth that gets served with french dip sandwichs everywhere else on earth.

Ordered a French Dip. They didn’t give me the dip!! No au ju! I live 20-30mins away so it’s not like I could just hope on over there and have them give me what I already paid for. The lines always take forever there. This is the 5th time in the last 6mths that they’ve messed up my order in 1 way or another…I’m starting to think it’s personal. Either do the job ur paid to do correctly, or quit! It’s that’s easy.

Went in for a simple order and the cashier was extremely snotty, took my order wrong so I just asked them to fix the order and she was extremely rude to the point I was sick to my stomach and left, arbys is my favorite fast food place but I will never come back to this arbys again

The restaurant was full of smoke, the floors so sticky, both sandwiches were made incorrectly and the fries were barely warm. Very disappointed!

The service is so slow we sat in the drive thru for over 15 minutes waiting for our food. I do not recommend it.

If you are used to going to Arbys and getting your food done right as ordered and without attitude well then dont go to this Arbys I have been to 3 different Arbys in the Last 18 mos and this by far is the worst must be like I was told by the manager they are a franchise and dont have to flow thru or honor any Arbys coupons what a joke how about take down the ARBYS sign then

The absolute zlowest drive thru...wait times are more than ten minutes to the menu...been here 3x and everytime its something out of Roast beef...last time Really this must be the worst one around i drove 2hrs to get here

When a restaurant says it closes at 10- but ignores customers in the drive through and locks their doors before 9:45? Either their sign is wrong, their employees are lazy, or they don't want to make money.

Wow drive-thru only!? Had to go next door to A&W to get something to eat because at least they still do takeout, I am a truck driver and was not going to fit my tractor trailer in the drive-thru thanks for not supporting truck drivers officially boycotting Arby’s!

If I could leave 0 I would. Went there and $24 later for 2 meals and a slider What can I say? The chicken was so dry the dog wouldn’t eat it. And Both Fries were nothing but crumbs! Sick of this Dump Always getting away with garbage food for $10 a meal go to McDonald’s instead same disappointment just a lot cheaper. NEVER EVER AGAIN WITH THIS PLACE!

I always preferred Arby's over the rest of the fast food chains. My daughter and I both ate at Arby's, we had different menu items but were both turkey. We both got sick.

Ordered two smokehouse brisket sandwiches as meals, both with crinkle fries. Got one curly and one crinkle fry. The meat was tough, the onions rings on the sandwiches were like ones leftover in the fryer. Horrible.

The manager was talking on her cell phone the whole time (at peak hours) and the poor cashier couldn't ring anyone out because she needed a fingerprint from the manager to access the register. I was the 2nd person in the store and had a small order, while 4 others got served ahead of me. They all came in well after me and had larger orders. Apparently there was confusion because the cashier had to go ring me out as a drive through customer because she couldn't use the other register. Then while I was waiting another large order was taken outside by another employee as she was confused where the ticket went and they had already bumped it on the pos system. She was running around outside for 5 minutes looking for the person to give the food to, while he was sitting at the window in the drive through, and then the manager whas snotty to this poor woman for not knowing where the food needed to go. By the time I got my food (4pc mozzarella stick and potato cake) it was cold (mozz sticks still ice cold inside) and they never gave me any napkins which I asked for extra napkins... since they don't have napkins out due to covid. Overall it was very frustrating. I don't blame the poor employees I blame the inept shift lead/manager who was on duty. I've worked in multile food service industries and that's not how you treat customers or your employees. Cell phones shouldn't be on the floor at all. And if you need to use the phone it should be in the back office. Also, her lack of help for the poor cashier was really frustrating. I don't reccomend this particular Arby's to anybody until they get their act together. Nobody wants to see employees being treated unfairly, or pay for cold gross food. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Edit 11/29/2025 I love Arbys is no longer true the location in Potsdam refused to give me my mobile order claiming I never placed an order. When I showed them the order in the app from my phone the employee took my phone walked off with it with out my permission and my phone fully unlocked from my sight. And the other employee slammed the drive through window when I demanded the worker bring back my phone they didn't have my permission to take it. So I pull up front my partner calls the police the police arrive they get my phone back refuse to press charges against the employee who took my phone because he said he seen it on the cameras but it appeared to be a mistake. I was then trespassed from the store never given my food and I'm now out 50 dollars as Arby's took my money and will not refund it as the store marked the order as picked up.

I took my family to the Potsdam Arby's today, we live in Albany and I expected a small country Arby's would be a star in the sky not a punch in the eye. I asked them if they had the 2 for 6 gyros they said not. So we ordered and I received the onion ring, large order, 5 count them 5, over cooked and uneatable double fried onion rings, The manager told me that is the way the fry them and a normal order is 5. We have 2 Arby's in Albany which we frequent weekly and I know that isn't true. So I guess this is the way a country Arby's treats their customers. Never again

my experience was horrible. The new drive thru worker with brown hair and blue eyes was very rude to me when he messed up my order.

I have been there twice for beef and cheddar classic and both times the order board has the wrong price. Won’t sell at board price and hasn’t changed the sign. The trips were a month apart. That’s totally wrong.

I don't know about you all but I don't go here often but when I do my food is always unsatisfying. This time it was like someone sat on our sandwiches before hitting the to go bag and the fries (curly) were so packed into the container it was like someone was trying to make a snowball with them first. And then to top it off for some reason the store number on the receipt (05044) to leave a review takes you to a place in georgia. Wonder how many bad reviews they have gotten for this stores (potsdams) mishaps....

Went through the drive thru ordered food the drinks came out and the soda's were flat and they forgot the shake we had ordered. Went inside asked for my receipt. Soda machine was broke for dine in. Asked for the cashier's name who gave me my food with no receipt or my milkshake. Got receipt but it was a duplicate receipt with no reference code. I am very disappointed with our experience this afternoon at Arby's. The girl taking our order had too many tasks and was doing half of the work of other workers there as well. I noticed the manager was sitting down as well as one other girl while people waited in line from anywhere to 8 minutes for their order. The dining area was absolutely filthy and I had to request to have my table cleaned off hands down this was not only the worst experience for Arby's but all fast food places.

We waited over a half hour for our food, people were getting their money back because the wait was so long(someone for over a hour) they didnt tell you they ran out of regular buns so they gave you onion buns. Wouldnt go there today if I were you
