I have many friends who go and also work there. If your into karaoke then this is the spot. Tell Brandy the KJ that Al sent ya. Now if you like eating food they have the best beef and chicken tacos and many more things to choose from. I'm going to go there now. On the weekends I think they serve food until midnight.

Bartender made me the most beautiful martini of my life. Gay bars in the city have nothing on them.

There's Karaoke which is incredibly fun from around 9pm to 1:30 am. Its been helping me build my confidence a lot and I have met some really nice fun people there. The DJs are incredibly nice. I plan to keep going.

The bartender Marci and waitress Beth are amazing. The Tacos and Spaghetti are Awesome! We don't gamble but we will be back for karaoke next Tuesday night. Thanks for the amazing night Monroes.

We came here, ordered some drinks, sung some Karaoke and went out to the smoke pit to puff on an oil pen I have for service related injuries. Some security guard came out and said "Actually (we hadn't previously spoken) doing any type of drugs on this premise is a felony offense. We have you on 3 cameras and you need to leave now or we will call the police." So in short I give this place a 10/10 on entertainment, 7/10 on atmosphere and 8/10 on prices. Drinks weren't too stiff, but sometimes that's nice you know?

I go here every Sunday and most Mondays, and it is easily the most fun bar in Redding. The DJs are great and really fun to talk to. They have karaoke 7 nights a week, and is the only place that does around here The food is great too. Get the Hangover sandwich and experience nirvana haha.

Tasty fries! Love the outdoor area. It's really loud inside which I get it's a karaoke bar but it's a bit much 😆 otherwise good drinks, great staff.

I LOVE Monroe's. There's isn't a better place for me and my friends to congregate and have fun. Ami's drinks are killer and Brandi's kareoke is the life of the party. I can't think of anywhere else that does kareoke where you generally want to stay and keep singing, or stay and be a part of the audience until close. Plus the outdoor area facing hilltop is the place to be (if you're a smoker of course). I've never had any drama, It's always got a good vibe in there. 10/10 will always be loyal to Monroe's over any other bar in town.

Very friendly staff, and karaoke every night. On any given day of the week this place will have a decent crowd and theres always poker in the back, or pool/air hockey. Plenty to do, always very clean and interesting atmosphere. Bar is a little small and can get crowded on weekends.

I absolutely love this club! I've been going here for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The karaoke and drink specials are second to none. Not to mention the service is great and quick. Danny and his Rockstar bar tenders will amaze and excite you with their skills. Oh and did I mention they have excellent food and there is a live game of Texas hold em' 24 hours (covid hours may be different) I would bring my grandma here because of the atmosphere is so Mello and I have taken my oldest son here for his 21st birthday to show him what a real bar is all about. Had alot of fun with my friends. We were there for Kareoke, awesome DJ, good drinks, great staff and a friendly mixed crowd. There is an outdoor section where you can bring your drink and have a smoke if you like. The establishment itself has a warm but classy feel to it. Even card tables in the back!

I have been a patron of Monroe’s for over 10 years now. I’ve always enjoyed my taco Tuesday lunch, my after work happy hour on the patio, listening to karaoke during the week a few times a month, of course the random shutting the bar down nights, and the occasional attempt to win big at 3 card poker. I have never once felt unsafe in this establishment. I’ve always felt the bartenders are well aware of the environment and the people in it. I’ve been there as a married woman & a single woman. I’ve been there with friends and all by myself and again not once have I ever felt unsafe. I know there is some crazy thing being said right now about this amazing local establishment but I would like to remind everyone that is best to form your own opinion and not make assumptions.

Loved the bartenders skills and personality. It was kareoke night, and it was definitely entertaining. Prices for drinks was little more then I'm used to, but well worth quality of the drinks!

Food was good, prices were good for lunch specials. The place was empty at the time we were there. Normal cook wasn't in, so not all items could be made and served at the time.

Great service and enjoyable drinks, usually fun people to meet and talk to during karaoke. I haven't had their food so I can't comment on that seeing as my girlfriend is gluten-free and can't eat the food there.

The atmosphere is good, and they always have Karaoke, which starts at 9pm. However, the drinks are a little pricey. At least there is free popcorn. The fries are good but haven't tried anything else.

If you intend on Karaoke you must arrive early, once the crowd sets in, there can be up to 30 people set to karaoke before you, so have your songs ready and known what you want to request prior, also the food is great, Alcoholic beverages reasonably priced, also this bar is very small so as the night progresses it gets pretty elbow to elbow, very social atmosphere great vibe!

I really did enjoy coming here for the karaoke but one of my mixed drinks was absolutely butchered. Tasted horrible. I ordered a blue screw which was supposed to have 4 ounces of sprite and there was nothing but pure alcohol in it, no sprite.. I might as well have taken 8 shots. Yuck.

Got kicked out when bouncer started his shift after being served drinks 🍸 for 2 hours because one of our girls id was on her phone. Even though she had been already served!

Small bar area that can take a long while to get a drink. Crowd is mixed but not typically Redding's finest. Karaoke night is pretty much dominated by people who are either really good or terrible. But they only sing country so at best it's meh. It always feels sketchy going here.

Non alcoholic drinks are overpriced. Had an issue with a woman physically harassing me and told one of the workers who then just made fun of me instead of actually trying to help with the problem. A different night my friend got roofied here. No dancefloor and not enough seats, felt like most of the crowd was much older, and karaoke is fun but you have to wait a very long time. Maybe others enjoy it here but I've only had bad nights and prefer other venues. I'm sure the other workers are nice but wish my concerns were heard by the one I did interact with.

My friends and I went to monroes and the bartender was so rude! My friends were kissing and she yelled at them. They stopped and then later she told them she heard them talking about what she said to them and that they cant kiss at the bar. We decided to leave because of the hostility and on our way out she yelled bye 3 times directly towards them incredibly rudely! we will never return! This is a bar not Sunday school.people are allowed to kiss!
