First time trying and went for the large combination plate. Tamal, enchiladas, rice, refried beans, crispy taco and guacamole salad only word to describe is DELICIOUS. The chips and salsa offerings could make a meal with the bean and meat. Service was great, we ate at the bar entire restaurant had a relaxing atmosphere and Kevin gave us a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back again, need to leave room for dessert.
Had my mother’s birthday dinner here. Had an absolute blast, We loved the food, The atmosphere was amazing, Our server was on top of everything and was always super polite. We will be coming back here again!
First time eating at a Lupe Tortilla. Restaurant was very clean and the decor was spot on for a Tex Mex restaurant. The fajitas were outstanding and all the sides were delicious. The only thing better than the food was our server, Casson. He was extremely attentive and courteous. Great job! We will definitely be back, and ask for Casson.
This is my new favorite Mexican food restaurant! The meal was delicious, the service was polite and helpful with our selections. The tortillas were huge! They had a freshness and and an authenticity rarely found in a chain restaurant. We got the trio fajitas for one and some queso, more than enough for both me and my wife. Five stars!
had a small issue with an order, and the manager Jason exceeded expectations. He was very helpful and went above and behind. The food is great, and if you like spicy margaritas definitely get one!!
What a great place for Mexican cuisine. The food came out hot and quick. The margaritas were great. Jon, our waiter was a very polite young man. Yes sir and yes ma'am for all his replies. A model young man. The manager visited us too, to make sure everything was alright. It was. A great dining experience. I highly recommend it if you're in Round Rock, Tx.
Fantastic Mexican food! We've passed by this place dozens of times but never stopped in. Today we decided to finally check it out and are so glad we did. The tortilla chips came in a giant bowl accompanied by two bowls of chunky salsa and charro beans. Ole! We also indulged in a couple of margaritas which were made just right, tangy, tart, frozen and powerful. The food was equally delicious. I had the Sr. Gaffigan and she had the Garcia platter. Each had plenty of well plated food, nice presentation and it was all we could eat. The overall atmosphere is very authentic Mexico too. A very nice experience that lots of people already know about because it was pretty busy.
Best food and service I've come across in any establishment. The food is fresh, tasty. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. Catch happy hour for a large iced strawberry margarita. You won't regret it. The staff and servide are knowledgeable, helpful and prompt. I wish we had a Lupe Tortilla in Sydney, Australia.
Lupe Tortilla is the best Tex Mex restaurant in Texas that I have eaten at. First of all, the service is excellent! The food is very good, cooked very close to perfection. The beef fajitas is their specialty, a little pricey, and well worth the price. I've always had an hour wait before being seated, and you're able to purchase drinks while waiting inside. At the Round Rock, Tx, location, you have the choice to wait inside of the restaurant, or inside if your car, during quarantine, until a table is ready for you. The restaurant is very clean, and a great family atmosphere.
This was such a wonderful experience. Our server was great! The food was mouth-watering delicious. We enjoyed the appetizer, dinner, drinks and deserts. The steak fajtas melted in your mouth, and were cooked to perfection. We checked into the wait list online and it saved us so much time on a busy Saturday! We will 100 percent be back.
Incredibly nice place! They even give you samples of their beef fajitas, along with chips and delicious sides everything was amazing. We really love this spot and highly recommend it. It’s family-friendly, the staff is welcoming, and the ambience makes you feel like you’re somewhere in Mexico. 🌮✨
We had a great experience on Friday night. Six of us dining and Anthony (Managing Partner) made sure we were well taken care of although our server was good without any guidance that we observed. Anthony even made our tableside guacamole himself. Everyone commented on how good it was, I need to watch next time so I can attempt it at home. Portions are good and the margaritas are awesome. Definitely on the regular rotation now.
Every visit is amazing!! Anthony, Jackie, Sarah, Desiree, Justin and Izaiah are awesome and always provide wonderful service! The food and drinks are top tier.
Very good, great flavor,The price is a bit higher than most restaurants in the same segment, but the quality is also superior, so paying a little more doesn't become a problem. . I will eat there again and recommend it to everyone.
Came in for lunch and sat at the bar top. Gigi was amazing! She was very friendly very knowledgeable of the menu and quick with our drink order. If you come in for lunch, you need to request her.
I love this Lupe Tortilla. You will often find this location packed with people, and for good reason. The food here is awesome, I especially love coming on the weekends for their brunch menu. The coffee is one that i always recommend and cant get enough of. Even when we bring the whole family, its worth the wait. The food is consistent, hot, and the staff are always freindly and happy to help in any way we need.
This place kicks ass. I’m one of the hardest people to please and this place starts with amazing food. The real secret is the absolute world class service that is given. Specifically, Gigi is the absolute best. Show up. Sit down. Ask Gigi to guide you through the menu and drinks and don’t even worry about it. Just let her know your allergies, preferences, etc and a curated memorable experience will happen. Guaranteed.
We've went for the first time yesterday and even though they were super busy during “Black Friday”, we got seated right away. Our waiter Maria, was amazing, she waited so many tables but also had an eye on us and refilled our drinks faster than we could finish them. Lol The food was out quick and it was really good. It is on the pricier side for Mexican food.
This is not your normal Mexican restaurant, this place is awesome. Enjoyed the cilantro chicken, chilly stuffed chicken and smoked ribs that were pull off, juicy and yummy. Huge portions. Good collection of beers, wine, margaritas and non alcoholic beverages alike. Will visit again to try more dishes. Great and quick service. This is a busy restaurant, expect wait times.
Lupe Tortilla was such a great experience! The service was friendly and quick, and the whole place had an upbeat vibe that made it feel fun and welcoming. With the garage doors open, the fresh air and perfect weather made the atmosphere even better. The food was just as amazing. The nachos were, and the chips, salsa, and bean dip were the kind you can’t stop eating. Everything came together to make it one of those meals you don’t want to end.
This is a great Tex-Mex! Tortillas are delicious and handmade. Steak and ribs are well prepared and cooked. Great Vibe. We were a little disappointed they didn't have fried icecream (which is our favorite dessert when going to mexican restaurant), but they ice cream taco was pretty dang good, the berries were a nice touch. Definitely will be coming back.
I’m not in North Round Rock often, but when I am, this is the place to go! Happy hour is from 3:00-6:30 with a full bar and very attentive bartenders. This food is delicious, and the service is quick. Their bean dip that comes with their chips is amazing! Kids get a free ice cream! Go early for dinner on weekends, or you’ll be waiting a while.
A month ago we had a problem with our to-go order. Came in today since we were kid-free for a few hours. I brought it up to the manager Pat and he took care of it! I can tell that they pride themselves in ‘getting it right’ and I am really glad that I talked with him about it. My server was on top of the refills even though the restaurant was super busy and the fajitas, margarita and Sopapillas were all delicious! A great date night with wifey!
The food was delicious. I ordered the barbacoa and egg tacos for breakfast and was not disappointed. The salsa they give you with the chips is sensational. I was in a rush and had to pick up to go but I’m sure the service is also great. I might stop by for those tacos if I am ever in the area.
Went here for a late lunch. The experience was so good. We order enchilada plate and the taco plate. The food was very good and hot. We even got a visit from the manager to check on us. Our server Trevor was awesome. He was friendly right from the start and took very good care of us. His service was amazing. He made sure we did not need anything. It was very nice conversing with him. We did not order drinks, and in the past, we have noticed when you don't, the service suffers. NOT THE CASE WITH TREVOR! If you can, ask for him. You will not regret it!
Had a great experience overall. We were pleasantly greeted by the manager, Phillip, who also checked on our party several times to ensure our satisfaction, as well as checking the other patrons regularly. Our server, Desiree, was excellent and tended to our requests quickly and accurately. The overall atmosphere was very inviting. The restaurant was clean and the food was delivered hot and had great flavor. We will definitely be revisiting to try other menu items.
We waited for two hours before we finished our meal! We ordered fajitas for two and iced tea! Sat for almost 45 minutes before seated and were told it was 20 minute wait! Had to ask for ice tea refills, sweet Dr, and salt ! Terrible service !
We came here last week for our first time. There was a 15 minute wait, which wasn’t bad but we went straight to the bar. The bartender was super friendly and made me an amazing drink called the skinny margarita and I’ve had them before but this one tasted beyond delicious because they make them with fresh lime juice hands down. The food is delicious. Even the chef came out to meet us because it was our first time and he gave us a sample of their steak skirt, which was delicious. Their fajitas are definitely how I would do it. Next time I go this time I had to try their enchiladas which were delicious.
The food is excellent, especially the fajitas! The service was slow during our visit. The server was, however, very nice but it seemed that she was assigned tables far apart from each other
We finally found our favorite chicken fajitas since moving to this area! We arrived on Saturday night around 5pm during a shift change and it seemed like our first visit was going to be a disaster but the super friendly and attentive waitstaff pulled it together and hit it out of the park! The food was delicious and plentiful (family size chicken fajita meal fed 3 light eaters and 1 hungry guy). The chips and salsa were great, as was the queso. We'll definitely be going back.
“The tacos are huge!” (Says my 9 year old) “We loved the food and our waiter was very very nice!” (Says my 11 year old; our server was Casson) First time for brunch getting the biscuit and sirloin, and it was excellent! The true shining star is Casson. He was so kind and thoughtful. There was nothing he didn’t think of, and he was regularly by our table checking in on us. He’s the best server I’ve had in a very long time, and he deserves a huge shout out!
Ordered the regular queso and added bacon — and wow, it turned out really good. The flavor was on point in everything we tried. Their salsa especially stood out — it had this zesty lime flavor I absolutely loved, and every bite was just packed with flavor. The beans they serve with the chips were also super tasty. Our first batch of chips was a little stale, but the second batch came out hot, crispy, and fresh — totally redeemed it. We ordered between 7–8 p.m. on a Saturday, so I expected a bit of a wait, but it took closer to an hour for the food to come out. Thankfully, the salsa, beans, and queso kept us satisfied while we waited. For entrées, we got the classic enchiladas and the steak and enchiladas combo (medium rare), and both came out perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The only real miss of the night was the lemonade — it was nearly clear and pretty watered down, so we just switched to water instead. Overall, our server Jacob was awesome — friendly, attentive, and super accommodating. Despite the longer wait and the lemonade flop, the food definitely made up for it. I’ll for sure be back — love me some good, flavor-packed, authentic(ish) Mexican food! 🌮❤️
We ate at Lupe Tortilla in Austin and everything was spot on. The chips and salsa came out fresh and crunchy with just the right amount of heat in the salsa. The beef fajitas were tender and flavorful, and the shrimp added a nice touch to the mix. We also tried the ribs and they were fall-off-the-bone good with a rich smoky taste. The staff kept things moving and the atmosphere was lively without feeling rushed. The portions were big, the food had great flavor across the board, and we left already talking about coming back.
First time at this location. We sat at the bar and Xavier was our bartender. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was delicious. We ordered ribs and chicken tacos to share. Both were delicious and generous portions. They also include a large size bowl of fresh tortilla chips and salsa. Great service and clean restaurant.
Our server Nelley was awesome.. we had a party of 8 and it was extremely busy.. idk how she managed to be cool with all of that happening.. I appreciate an amazing service, more so an amazing server despite a hectic environment!! Drinks were good, food was good, no complaints here.. this review is to acknowledge our server 😊
It's a busy establishment, so expect a wait to be seated, but it's entirely worth it. The staff offered unsurpassed customer service, and everyone was super friendly. Our appetizers and drinks were delivered promptly, and our entrées arrived piping hot without a wait, even with them being incredibly busy. We started with the Queso Compuesto and it was divine-full of cheesy goodness. It's one of our favorites. I highly recommend! I had the GREEN ENCHILADAS: Three enchiladas with roasted chicken wrapped in corn tortillas with jack cheese and green tomatillo sauce, served with a side of pico de gallo and sour cream. The Enchiladas were prepared to perfection and delicious! My husband had the SPICY RED ENCHILADAS: Three roasted chicken Enchiladas wrapped in corn tortillas with jack cheese and a spicy red sauce, served with a side of pico de gallo and sour cream. He enjoyed his entrée as well and said it was perfectly prepared. If you're looking for really good food and exceptional customer service from fantastic staff, I highly recommend a visit to Lupe Tortilla. You won't be disappointed!
If you’re searching for a culinary escape that tantalizes the taste buds while wrapping you in a warm, inviting atmosphere, look no further than Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant. During my recent visit, I indulged in the delicious chicken fajitas and crab-stuffed shrimp, and I can confidently say that each bite was an explosion of flavor. The chicken fajitas were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, served sizzling on a hot platter. Meanwhile, the crab-stuffed shrimp were a delightful surprise, each morsel brimming with a rich, creamy filling that complemented the succulent shrimp beautifully. One of the highlights of my meal was the complimentary chips and salsa, a classic starter that never disappoints. But what truly elevated the experience was the small dipping bowl of pinto beans that accompanied the chips. These beans were nothing short of mouthwatering, their rich flavor pairing flawlessly with the crunchy tortilla chips for a snack that was simply addictive. In summary, Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant is a gem in the culinary landscape, combining exceptional food, a lively ambiance, and top-notch service. Don’t miss out on their chicken fajitas and crab-stuffed shrimp, and be sure to savor those irresistible pinto beans with your chips. A visit here is sure to leave you with a full belly and a happy heart!
We went to an early dinner. Party of 6 and a dog. I asked if it was ok if the dog came inside before getting a table. The staff was very accommodating. Our server was very attentive. The management came by the table and introduced herself. The food came out in a timely manner. Everything was very good. My chicken enchiladas were huge! I loved their beans.
9June2024 My first time here and the lady at the entry told me it would be a 20-25 minute wait to sit at a table. It was a loaded house from the rooter(front) to the tooter(back) on a Sunday afternoon 1:20pm)I sat at the bar, ordered my meal, and drank my drinks. I only had a 15 minute wait for my food. And the customers were wonderful and so friendly. My flat enchiladas were so delicious. I ate it all. Strawberry🍓daiquiri was delicious. Excellent customer service by Emma.
1/27/24 - another perfect visit! 4/29 update- okay, drinks were weak this visit. Bartenders seem to all be in a bad mood. Our waitress was horrible. Food was good though. ****************************** The wait was an hour, but worth it. Fajitas are the best in town. Get them by the pound! Pound will feed 2 to 3. Highly recommend. Drinks are also good. We went here with friends at 5 30pm and no wait! It was on a Monday. Still the food was excellent! Best fajitas in town! We've been about a dozen times and the fajitas are the best in Texas! The meat has a lime taste and is seasoned just right. The tortillas are large and you just can't eat one. All the sides are tasty. The drinks are strong and you should only have 2 max. Service has always been excellent. If you are wanting to treat your family impress your boss Lupe Tortilla is the place. Highly recommend.
The steak is sooo good! Only ordered DoorDash and it came quick and with more food than I expected which was great.

Service was good. This Restaurant gets Really Packed, as it is Directly A walk away from the Outlet across the Street. Very Busy. Must wait in Line / or outside for a good period of time. Food takes a good bit to come out as well. The steak simply melts in your mouth like butter. Their pulled pork cheese enchiladas were really delicious. Their jalapeno sausage was very smoky and I recommend you try it. Steak was perfectly cooked to medium Rare. The Avocado Crab appetizer was good but not my favorite. Unfortunately my Acholic Beverage was filled with bits of plastic when i was drinking it. The manager and Waiter were notified about it. They did not charge us for the drink. The second drink was a Berry Blast which was really delicious, but I didn't receive it until I was already done with my meal due to high demand in service / Customers. Overall it's 3.4/4 stars. I appreciate the manager and Waiter checking on us throughout the meal after the drink incident. I have had very rude manager experiences at restaurants that were their mistake on Restaurant end. And this simply was not one of those experiences. It's a 3. But with some critiques it's a 4.
I had the tortilla soup on Friday, May 9th, and it really hit the spot. Great flavor and a generous amount of chicken made it hearty and satisfying. The wait was a little long, but that’s expected for a Friday night. Our waiter was cool and gave solid service. I’ll definitely be back for that soup!
We sat at bar for a shorter wait. Had to clear plates and wipe table ourselves after waiting several minutes and no eye contact or greeting. Food was cold and the shrimp enchiladas taste like dish water fishy not fresh ( I had this happen with salmon here once before). Overpriced and bad service. Mas Fajitas has better food and service. Update: we were contacted and offered to come back. This experience was 10xs better. So thank you for caring!
Food was decent, it's good Mexican food, but nothing to write home about. Salsa was tasty, but a weird dark brown color. Chips were fresh and crispy. Guacamole was a bit over processed and despite being listed on the menu as table-side, it was prepared back in the kitchen somewhere, likely long in advance given that it came in three perfectly semi-spherical scoops. Chips came with salsa and pinto beans, not like a bean dip or refried beans, more like pork and beans from a can. Really watery. Flautas were your typical taquitos, had a decent amount of meat in them at least.
The staff here is nothing but patient and understanding. The manager was also proactive and vigilant. The food had great flavor and made me want to return to try out more of their menu. However, it seems there was a misunderstanding on how they prepared cheese enchiladas. Instead of just having regular cheese enchiladas, with their red sauce with cheese inside and on top, we were given tortillas cooked and coated in molten cheese. It may have been a communication issue when we said we wanted no meat in/on the dish.
First time here. It was about 10 am with a 15 min wait for a table. Everything on the menu seemed delicious, 😋 I sure wanted one of Everything! But I got what is picture, can't remember the name of this dish. It had roasted chicken in it, but not enough. Regardless it was still delicious. 😱The pancakes! Oh the pancakes! Never had anything so good before! Make sure you share your pancakes, they are huge!! 👎My only complaint was that the server did not pay attention to detail when it came to our order. Missed a few details and had to circle back, but he got it taken care of. Had to wait an extra 15 mins or so because he forgot to put in a to go order in. I would definitely go back and hope to get a different server. Don't hesitate to eat some great food!!
Delicious food, the bar service was extremely slow, but our food server Andres was excellent. Not enough alcohol in my piña colada, but the rest of the drinks were good. The Puff tacos, green chicken, ground beef, and cheese enchiladas were all great. The fajitas are lime rich delicious, but we didn’t care for the queso - too runny, but very good flavor. The salsa and beans were excellent with lots of chips, and they gave us another helping of salsa & beans for a table of 4 people. It's a nice looking restaurant inside and out, and bathrooms clean.
Have been to this location many times, always busy and the tables are tiny for how they spread things out, but none of that was to do with the rating. This was the first trip I didn't get fajitas, mistakes were made. The food was OK, got the flautas, eh.. Chuy's are 100x better. Server was nice, but had to ask multiple times for water, and was very handsy with the females. Atmosphere was horrendous, out table was sat next to a group of about 8 late 20s or early 30s black females who literally yelled at each other the entire time. So loud that you couldn't hear or communicate with the people right next to you. Yes, it is a loud restaurant and I get that but ours wasn't the only table who had issues with it and nothing was done. I personally won't be back, at least by choice.
Server was cool, and pretty too☺️. Waited 30mins for the table in the afternoon, and it was worth the wait. The food was very presentable and it tasted good as well. Food was quite hot like it was just pulled off the grill. There was a laughing lady at the bar who was obviously feeling it a bit, and they were quite tolerant of her. I had to laugh, myself at how loud she was laughing. Overall.. Had a good time! I will more than likely, go again.

It was a Sunday, mid afternoon. 4:24pm. Fairly busy, not packed. 2 person party. My Wife ordered the cheese enchilada/chicken taco plate, frozen margarita, no salt please. I ordered the the lobster enchiladas, and a glass of wine. Service: The drinks came out first, salt on the rim and a wine glass that was so dirty that you almost could not see through it. We didn't mention the salt, but all I did was show the wine glass to our server, and...well....ew. He recovered, cleaned the glass, and brought it back. All better. We mentioned the salted rim at the end of supper, just so he could keep in mind to watch out for that. Some people can't have sodium. It wasn't IN the drink, so it was ok. Fare: The chips were super thin and crispy. The queso was good (I usually don't like queso), they served some beans with it. They were seasoned with meat.... Really good. Salsa came with it as well. My wife enjoyed her meal; everything was seasoned very well. Not too much seasoning, also not bland. My lobster enchiladas were fabulous. Tender, juicy, seasoned well. The cream sauce was the perfect touch. The tortillas that wrapped the lobster enchiladas were very thick, home made style, "knead the masa" type tortillas. I don't think they were home made, but they were certainly not wimpy little super thin corn tortillas. Overall...good food. Tasty. We'll go again, and hopefully the wait staff will pay closer attention to specifics and presentation. I believe that was just inexperience waiting tables.
I placed an order for pickup at 6:00 PM and arrived a few minutes early at 5:55 PM. I checked in right away by submitting my name and parking spot via text, exactly as instructed. Even so, I still ended up waiting 30 minutes for my food. At that point, it really defeats the purpose of scheduling a curbside/Togo order if you’re just going to be stuck waiting in the parking lot. And honestly, the food isn’t worth the price or the wait. Lupe Tortilla really needs to improve both the timeliness of their curbside service and the overall value of the experience.
The atmosphere is nice and the service was lovely, but the food could have been a lot better. I ordered tortilla soup that was HEAVILY flavored with a very obvious McCormick taco seasoning. My parents’ puffy tacos were seasoned the same. The only good thing we ordered was the tres leches cake. Overall, The food was not at all what we were expecting from a Tex-Mex place.
Visited this location for the first time. Salsa was really good and so is the hot salsa. Tortilla chips smelled oily, asked for a replacement. Ordered Fajita chicken, made well and tasted good. Decent portion but didn't appreciate flavors as much as we did before at Arboretum location. Quick service, food could have been made better
Lupe has become one of our favorite places to eat! The food is always amazing! Service is never less than perfect, but please turn on more lights! It’s very hard to see the menu and even our food at times.
We love the quality of food here, it's like no other...that being said we will have to try again another time to get a great experience. Our experience on a recent Saturday night had some bumps along the way. Mainly the parking was very limited, the wait was over an hour and we felt silly going up to the host stand 3 different times asking how much longer. Finally I recommend bringing entertainment for your wait. We brought along a Nintendo switch. I mean you can fight your way to the bar and order some booze to sit and drink while waiting, but we don't drink, we saw plenty of folks doing that. After we were seated our server got us settled in nicely and we ordered fajitas for 2. Our bill was 90.00 (no alcohol) portions were nice, we did have great leftovers for Sunday snacking.
3.3 stars. 1st time to visit. Average food. Serving portion on the fajitas was on the lighter side. Rice was bland and lacked flavor. Tortillas were very good so that balanced things out. Tres leche dessert was a generous slice of moist, rich, creamy yummy-ness. Service was consistent throughout the meal. Atmosphere was standard.
Great food but what they lack is customer service . The ones who work the front to seat do not car and have this go to hell attitude . And were not keeping up with available seats . Said they had no idea multiple were vacant while people were waiting and even a server was wondering why he had low table count . They also bump into you moving those baby seats and don't even apologize . I would def recommend hiring the friendliest staff for seating and not those who are gonna push you off . Even when seated they just seat and walk off. Nothing of care offered .
15 minute wait for a party of six turned into 27. We were finally seated at empty table in front of us. Not sure what happened we were the only people waiting. We went at 6:15 on a Monday night. Food was ok but not really worth the insulting wait. If you are in the business of taking people’s money…. Why make them wait. This is not our first bad experience with the wait so we usually grab a seat at the bar. They are happy to take my money.
The food was fine. My wife got the tortilla soup and she said it wasn't very good. Said it was salty and the tortilla was soft. The service wasn't very good at all. We had to wait for everything. L…

What has happened to LTMR? The food is not what we expected since the last time we ate there. Portion sizes were way down. Ordered the 1/2 lb fajitas mix with beef and chicken. First of all, no way it was a 1/2 lb, and, second 90% was beef with only three very small pieces of chicken. Very small portions of cheese/guacamole/tomatoes, and three tortillas for two people. Yet another example of an overpriced and under performing restaurant that is seeing patronage decline. Apt to join the bone pile of failed businesses. So many other restaurants are so much better. The count down to full failure begins with a bad product and equally bad service.
Service was fine and normal, but the food was awful. Should have gone to Taco Bell instead, because at least it wouldn’t have cost me $50 for an inedible dinner. No bueno.
Filet mignon was tough and chewy. Was not good at all, probably wasn’t even the right cut of steak. Told the manager about it when he asked how everything was, just got an I’m sorry about that. No slight discount or remake. Was expecting better quality from this place as I’ve been here 5/6 times and the other food is good. Could have gotten better steak at Applebee’s for under $20
I had a pretty terrible experience with picking up a To Go order. I went to a curbside spot and checked in but still hadn’t gotten my food after 15 minutes. I tried calling the restaurant and after a long wait, the front answered but then transferred me to the To Go desk, and they never answered. So I went inside and told them I’m picking up my order. Then, although it was already 15 minutes after the pickup time, they seemed to just see my order and start working on it. I then had to wait another 15 minutes for my order to be ready and when I mentioned this to the staff, the response I got was “Well I just got here.” I wanted to talk to a manager, but I was so tired of waiting already I decided to leave. Then to top it off, the beef fajitas I got were really sub par. I paid $75 for a pound of fajitas and a lot of the meat was chewy and fatty and ended up getting thrown away. I was going to let the poor service go but after also getting terrible food I just had to leave a review. I won’t be eating at Lupes again. Not worth the waste of time for some poor quality yet expensive food.
This place has been highly recommended to us, reason why we came. We had to wait over 1 hour for a table ( wait time was 30-45min), it was a Sunday so it was very, very busy, and the service although good, very, very slow… our food took forever to come. When our food arrived, one of the chickens was raw and Brussels sprouts uncooked. We had been waiting for so long and we couldn’t wait for them to make another one as we had to go somewhere else. We sent to plate back and spoke to the manager, who was attentive to our complaint and promised to send us a gift card so that we can come back. The other dishes I tried from what everyone else ordered were good and with the gift card I will come back and try again
Party Packs are an absolute ripoff for the amount of food you get. Two small half-filled bags of chips for 6-8 people? It was maybe 2lbs of meat. Will never make that mistake again. Should have…

service at bar is terrible. We were there for 40 mins. Never got menus never got asked what we wanted.

Tried to eat there today, but was highly disappointed. They weren’t packed, it was after the lunchtime rush, got seated right away, but sat for over 15 minutes before we decided to leave. Nobody came to our table and there was waitstaff just standing around, so we left and ate at Santiago’s instead.
If you want bad Mexican just go to Taco Bell. The queso was water, the enchiladas tasted like tomato paste. I didn't know it was possible to make Mexican with no flavor. At least we had a good server! He made sure our drinks were always full.
Ok let's talk about how the Rounf Rock location Ruined my Christmas Eve game not all because they were all in a rush to leave, I get it but just say we don't have enough to fulfill your order. They didn't give me tortillas beef was not cooked all the way and the condiments were all mixed together, when I tell you it was horrible and three managers said they would fix it and all passed the buck. Seth shame on you and the female manager and and Anthony who said he was going out of town and would handle it when my daughter went back to tell him about the order after they closed. I hope he enjoyed his trip, my game night was horrible FYI you gave me one single serving rice and beans not the larger one.
It was a shit show! 9 of us went (5 adults and 4 kids). We waited for 50 mins for our table.. it was significantly longer than the wait time they told us.. then they completely forgot our table. I had to go get a waiter for our water.. then again found another one for chips and salsa.. one finally took our order but after spending 2.5 hours all we got was the guacamole we ordered. No entree. Got the manager. Asked him to comp the guac and walked out. Never coming back.
We had a birthday dinner here planned. We called an hour early to prepare management. A party of 13. We called again OTW an we were told they room. We get her and they tell us. 20 min then go ask at the 20 min and told us another 30 min. This is beyond ridiculous
The one star is only because the front desk lady was willing to listen and try to help us. We were a party of 9, the wait time of 45min turned out to be 1.30 hr. We could’ve left but had placed Togo orders for our kids hence had to stay. After asking multiple times, we were seated but it took additional 20min to receive our Togo orders on the table. Even after that it took 30min after being seatedfor them to bring water and chips to our table. This was after requesting multiple times to provide service. The entire 2.30hrs experience was terrible, we still didn’t receive the food and just left after collecting our Togo orders for our little ones. Will not go back again.
We showed up on a Sunday for a brunch around 1. They told us it would be 30-35min. It was closer to 50 min by the time we sat down. 10 minutes left in brunch. Waiter didn't make it to us until after 2. At which point we put in our order hoping we would still get the brunch menu. 30 minutes later our food trickles in except for the items on the brunch menu because brunch ended at 2, so some of us had to reorder. Worst experience we've had here, will not be coming back anymore.
1/11/26 My alcohol beverage was watered down no condensation. the man with the man bun serving us around 4-5:15 pm section near the bathroom. no straws, asking for chips, drinks and disappeared. Only came back to give us our bill. We still haven’t received our drink and proceed to grab the drinks from the bar. With the ticket and everything. That really didn’t sit right with me, we weren’t disrespectful, we were happy to try the restaurants. Like come on do better! It was awkwardly awful.
This location is getting worse and worse every time we come here. They take forever to get you started. When you come in they don’t even care enough to take your name and get everyone mixed up with times. They sit you down and you have to wait 15-20 minutes just for them to get your order of drinks. They forget the items you even ordered as well taking almost an hour for food. Don’t recommend coming to the round rock location. Go further in Austin for better service.
Waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes after ordering our food, till we got it. Food was not even warm. Service was pretty good. She really tried. Restaurant was clean and atmosphere was neat. On a good note manager did comp our meal. Will not go back. They are pricey for mediocre Mexican food
