I loved this place. I’ve tried or been to a few other steak houses around the twin cities and this is by far my favorite. Great people and great food. I loved the salad bar and the Hmong pepper
We got the top shelf dinner and loved it. The steaks are amazing and the servers are all very friendly. They kept checking on us and made sure we received what we wanted. It was a really good experience!
The food literally melts in your mouth. I really disnt have e anything that tasted bad. It was definitely a great experience taking my son here for his birthday. Highly recommend 👌 my favorite was the lamb chop, garlic steak, and the beef ribs. Also if there's something you want specifically on the menu if you ask they will bring it rather than waiting and hoping it comes out.
All you can eat meat. This is the place you go to when you want the meat sweats. Such a great concept and everything we had was delicious. The staff was very fast and helpful. They create a really great environment. Every type of protein you can think of they have on a sword plus a great salad bar with tons of options.
One of my favorite places to dine and drink either with my self or family. Kid friendly, atmosphere is fantastic. You will love the experience. Food is so amazing. You will experience a true Brazilian, South American adventure. They got 10$ meat mites from lamb to steak. Great selection of bear and alcoholic beverages. The staff is beautiful and very professional. I love this place and I definitely always return for more! P.s you must try their flan!
I went here two days ago and this place was spot on. Waiter was excellent service top notch and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. The food there was amazing. A little too rare for my liking I’m more a medium guy but I loved the meat there. I highly recommend this place if you’re having a party, going with friends, family or to go there for fun. Love this place!!!
Come hungry. Salad bar is standard. Sides are decent - cheese bread and caramelized bananas in particular. The star of the show though is the Picanha, with the grilled pineapple a close second. Perfectly seasoned and cooked with generous portions offered (for both). Succulent and indulgent. Everything was decently seasoned and they offer a variety of selections throughout the meal, not just the same thing over and over again. Really nice for a date night, especially during the week. Service was overall good. Servers were attentive and made sure we got access to everything, going so far as to ask what we would like to try.
Visited this excellent restaurant with a friend for Sunday brunch. This vas my first visit and I was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is pleasant, a lot of open space, tables not crowded, excellent bar. Staff was pleasant and attentive. They were eager to help and offer advice. Service was fast and plentiful. Meats are tasty, seasoned to perfection and done just right. Their endless Mimosas are well prepared and tasty. All said, I will be coming back, restaurant is a gem and I warmly recommend it!
Everyone was great! Very good customer service.
We were meeting our son, daughter in law, and grandsons. I called ahead as we needed handicap access. He said call and he will come show us. Well we parked out front and an employee was just going in. He helped us with parking meter and directed us. Walked to corner went L than went a little to entrane MetroNome brewery. Stay L to use wheelchair ramp hang L to enter dining room. Well we were greeted and could wait for our family or be seated. They sat us at a great location. The service was wonderful and the food amazing. You can start at the salad bar(a lot) and mashed potatoes 😋,plantains, bananas plentiful on table. The gouchos were Very attentive. We were fortunate to get a parking space out front. Arrived 4:30 on a Friday. CHS field around corner parking would be tough if it were game day. We will be back again. So enjoyable.
12/15/2022 - the staff was great. They were extremely helpful and on point. Anything you need they got. The food was so flavorful I don't have any complaints. The atmosphere was great. Everyone was respected 💯 we did the all you can eat and I think it's decently priced because the staff made sure that every customer gets their meat. They were very attentive.
This was a great experience. The food was delicious. Meats were well cooked. Salad bar had great sides. Fried plantain is my favorite thing to eat. They came around to the table with pineapple which was so awesome, not just meat. We had the Paz wine which worked. The staff were very nice, we had conversations with almost every staff in the building, including the owner. Such a fun experience, would recommend. Make sure to come hungry!
Enjoyed dinner here with my family! Excellent service and it was quick with reservations. The food was delicious, hot and seasoned perfectly. Definitely recommend! The Hmong Pepper is a MUST 😮💨🔥
Had a great experience here for downtown dining week. One or two of the 20 pieces of meat weren't perfect but everything was still nicely seasoned and flavorful. The salad bar had a lot of options, the cocktail I had was tasty and they even let us take our desert home when we were full.
Thank you to the team for making my son’s birthday the best! From the moment I pulled up to valet, everything was on point. The staff were incredible! The food amazing!
This place is consistently amazing! Arguably better than both Fogo de Chao in Minneapolis and Rodizio grill. The service is absolutely worth bragging about. The staff is very articulate, informative and polite. They checked on us throughout our entire stay. The meat and every dish that was served was amazing! And the salad bar and pasta is always a treat. The wine options are superb and the overall dining experience is in between casual and fine. No one is out of place here. It is incredibly welcoming and I highly recommend it.
We went to Bullvino’s for my fiancé’s birthday dinner and it was so much more than I had expected. The salad bar was fresh and delicious; the meats were top tier and service was wonderful. I didn’t feel like dressing up this day, but no one made us feel out of place and we were treated just as well as if I had worn something much more formal. Definitely will be coming back and bringing the kids to try this place as well!
Firstly, I'm immensely touched by Bullvino's adding a Hmong hot pepper sauce to their menu. And it's delicious. That's awesome since I don't have to bring my own. The food was great. My favorites were the garlic beef, lamb chops, and pork ribs. Service was wonderful; all the staff was attentive and pleasant. Will definitely experience another meat-a-thon here again.
We've been twice. Both times for lunch, and both times we selected the top shelf lunch. The second time was more fun time as we knew exactly what we liked from the huge salad bar and the fire-grilled meats (especially useful with the servers checking in to see what options you'd prefer to come out next). We love the lamb chops, tenderloin, ribeye, chicken legs and pineapple. Their mango caipiroska cocktail was also delicious. For the service, ambiance, and variety of flavorful food, we'll keep driving the two hours to come back!
Tasty meats and excellent service! Came here for restaurant week and it was such a plesant and fun experience!! Shout out to Izzy and T - best section and servers! Very polite and engaged with my table! Not only are they respectable and attentive, but they know the restaurant inside and out and gave us delicious food combos and recommendations. GRILLED PINEAPPLE FTW! The food itself was a plethora of meat galore and a diverse spread of vegetarian items (mm mushrooms and peppers). Of course, HMONG PEPPER SAUCE! The flavors might not be as potent like at the Hmong Village/Town or at home, but it's worth trying with the meats. Scott is a great manager - easy to converse and supportive of his team. Everyone seems to get along with one another - communicative and they have each other's back. The place is clean and organized - fine ambience experience or a nicer group setting kind of place. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We hope to be back :)
Love this location - the big windows and bar are great! Food, atmosphere and service all top notch. We appreciate the full staff and great service when most restaurants are struggling to hire right now. The new Wagyu steak option served at the table on a hot slab of Himalayan salt is amazing. Carved at the table and then we were able to continue cooking individual pieces to our liking. We loved it!!! This place is doing a lot right and is our favorite place to go as a family.
The service was AMAZING!!! the food was good, but for the price you pay, most of the steaks were overcooked and hard to eat, which was really surprising for it being a steak house. The filet mignon was the best cooked steak, it was delicious and perfect, other steaks were disappointing. But that pineapple, OMG, totally made up for the steaks. That pineapple was absolutely amazing!!! The deserts were absolutely delicious! And as already stated, the service was wonderful!!! Maybe best service I've ever experienced in any restaurant.
Would highly recommend this place. Paired a Lamb sirloin dish with Abacaxi Favorito. Nate recommended the Cabernet which only improved the dish. Nate was a fantastic server and made the place feel like home. Please tip him well because I would like to keep him around. The marinated lamb was very tender and flavorful. Enhancing the dish with pineapple and Cabernet was the only answer. Recommend stacking those suckers. I will be back👍🏻
My husband & I visited Bullvino’s on a Friday afternoon for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. The service was incredible. Our server was from Brasil and so sweet and energetic. I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out, but she was so genuinely sweet and attentive. I ordered the Caipirinha (Brazilian cocktail) and it was fresh & delicious without being overly sweet. Mine was pineapple/mint with passion fruit. The salad bar had many unique offerings and everything was very fresh. We ordered the top shelf package for meat, so everything was included. Fillet mignon, house special, prime rib, Parmesan chicken were all divine. So so good! Great cuts of meat, seasoned well. The mashed potatoes on the table as well as the puffed cheese bread were amazing! Grilled pineapple was also a favorite. I loved all of the employees- they were so personable and fun. The men delivering and cutting the meat were delightful. Honestly everything about the experience was wonderful. It was nice to not have loud music blaring and to be able to have a conversation. I didn’t realize how common that had become. At Bullvinos the atmosphere was perfect and calming. They exhibited excellence in every area. Lastly they gave us a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We chose the flan and as with everything else it was amazing! Thank you to the staff at Bullvinos for giving us an incredible anniversary lunch!
This place is outstanding. Superior to any other Brazilian steakhouse. Louis, our server at the St. Paul location, was excellent. He was kind, gave great recommendations, and very timely. The meat is simply outstanding. The price is almost too reasonable. We will absolutely be back. Thank you very much!
genuinely one of the best restaurants i've been to, and i do not say that lightly! the food came out quickly during a dinner rush on saturday night, and every single thing we ordered was amazing. no matter what you order, you can't go wrong! the food itself was impressive (don't even get me started on their cocktails, ugh the best!), but the service was incredible as well. everybody was so kind and went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. i would suggest this place one hundred times over to anyone looking for some delicious food and absolutely wonderful service :)
My wife and I went on a lunch date and we had a great experience. Our server, Luis, was very warm and friendly and introduced us to the different options available. Throughout our meal, he checked in on us and asked if there were any specific meats we would like and each time he would promptly find out the timing and let the gauchos know what we were looking for. The caipirinhas were refreshing and wonderful. The meats were all spectacular. The side dishes and salad bar were amazing as well. The entire staff was very attentive to detail and ensuring that our experience was a memorable one. I would definitely recommend Bullvino’s to others and await my next trip.
This is one of those typical Brazilian all you can eat places. We were pleasantly surprised that they have a bar menu where you can order small plates or shareables which is an even better way to enjoy some of their specialties. The bar menu also includes happy hour cocktails. We had a good time last evening. The bartender (Tatiana?) gave us good suggestions on food to order. All in all it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back again.
All the staff did and excellent job: hostess, servers and the most important the guys coming around bringing the meat. Food was also great, we started with the salad bar but couldn't go back because we had a couple more side dishes that were delivered to our table and also the meat was constantly coming. I definitely would go back if I travel again to Minnesota
Food was excellent. My favorite was the garlic beef and top sirloin. The smoked salmon at the salad bar is insanely good. Our server, which I can’t remember her name, was top notch and on top of things. We had a table of 20 and she didn’t miss a beat. And I gotta say, what a beautiful building.
We stopped in here on a spur of the moment, no reservation, didn't know what to expect. We were greeted, welcomed and seated right away. Food and service were great, would defiantly come back. FYI, parking is an issue, especially with the holiday light thing going on cross the street at CHS field, plan accordingly.
My wife and I went here for Valentines day weekend. We arrived around 6:30 and checked in with our scheduled reservation. We were sat fairly quickly, and as soon as we were sat and got comfortable we were met with a warm welcome from one of the servers. Each person that came around with different things for us to try were so polite, considerate of any allergies or even special diets we may have. Overall this restaurant was very very nice and we would definitely come again.
Would 100% recommend to anyone!! The food was always delicious, salad bar is extensive to say the least! The caipirinhas are absolutely to die for (we tried every flavor on the menu), and there was no shortage of food coming your way, we had to flip our cards every once in a while to be able to finish what we already had. My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary, it was out first time ever coming here. Justin, our server, was SO incredibly sweet and fun to talk to. We immediately felt comfortable being here! He was always quick and consistant making sure we had drinks, and in general checking on us. Food was great, service was great, drinks were great! Thank you for making this night so memorable for our anniversary!
First time here. We usually go to Fogo in years past. Bullvino's is far superior in my opinion. To start, the old fashioned I ordered is probably one of the best I've ever had. All of the food was great. But the meat was far superior. Top picks are bacon wrapped steak and the chicken wings. I didn't get to try the garlic steak. Now I have a reason to come back!
The setup of this place is really neat. They do offer a lot of different cuts and the salad bar is huge. However, I will say after visiting other "Brazilian Steakhouses," many of the cuts lacked flavor. It was a bit of a let down to be honest. Our server T was amazing however and the roasted pineapple was on point!
I had reservations for dinner here on a Sunday evening 07/20/25 for my friend's birthday. We were greeted immediately, and they did have my reservation. We waited briefly and were seated. It was a very quiet evening in the restaurant, I would say maybe 10 tables or so. TIP: At Brazilian BBQ restaurant if it's very slow and you want a certain meat, I suggest you ask, and they will likely have it prepared for you vs just waiting and hoping they will bring it out. We were greeted by our waiter Louis who was excellent! He was very attentive and served our wine and refilled our wine glasses. I was VERY impressed by Louis' service and attention to detail. He said they would be singing Happy Birthday to my friend in Portuguese, we were looking forward to that! But alas, it was not meant to last. Louis' shift ended, and he let us know we would have a different waitress her name began with an M. I will refer to her as M. M was not very good at all. She stood near the bar chatting with a coworker and did not stop by our table until we were close to being ready to go. The Gauchos provided better service than M and it's not even their job. She refilled our water once and barely did that haha. She did not acknowledge my friends Birthday and at that point we didn't even ask for the complimentary dessert because if you have to ask for it what's the point. We were thoroughly not impressed with M and really wanted Loius back haha! Overall the restaurant was very beautiful and the salad bar was amazing. The meats were brought out hot and fresh, and the Gauchos did an excellent job. We will be back and hope we don't get M as our server and if we do I will request a different server (yes it was that bad). Waitress/server like that can really ruin your business. If not for the poor service by M, I would have given 5 stars.
Upon arrival, the host had some difficulty locating our reservation. It was a bit awkward to say the least... Once resolved, we were seated within about five minutes, which was appreciated. The servers were friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and the pacing of the meat service was steady. However, I was underwhelmed by the salad bar and side dish offerings. For the price point, I expected a broader variety and easier access to items like potatoes and grilled pineapple, rather than having those brought around separately by staff. This made the experience feel more limited than I anticipated. We also opted for the top-shelf meat upgrade, but surprisingly found ourselves enjoying the standard cuts much more. A few of the premium meats tasted overly gamey for our preference, which made the upgrade feel unnecessary. Toward the end of the meal, we experienced a longer wait than expected for both dessert and our check. Overall, Bullvino’s delivered some enjoyable moments—especially the classic cuts of meat—but a few service hiccups and limited side offerings kept the experience from being truly memorable. I would consider returning, but likely without the top-shelf add-on.
I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately my first time was during the restaurant week and it was a pure chaos. The restaurant was packed and busy to the point where not a single waiter stopped by our section for the first 20minutes upon the arrival. I was asked twice by two separate waiters if I selected vegetarian dinner which certainly wasn’t the case. At one point I was so hungry that I just took whatever they offered, despite my culinary preferences, as I didn’t want to wait any longer. The service was nice but so inattentive and the food was mediocre. Their Tres Leches cake was the highlight of my visit but overall I was disappointed.
This was a very noisy, overcrowded restaurant. We didnt get the same level of service that we have got at other similar restaurants. Which is understandable given they have this place stuffed like a thanksgiving turkey! The meat that was circulating was often the same meats that we had previously or had passed on. We found the good cuts of beef coming around was a rare occurrence and we had to ask for them multiple times. While pork and chicken and sausage just kept making their rounds. I actually left hungry, and thirsty. Getting what you want here seems to be a lot of effort I don't feel like paying 75+ bucks a person to have to put in. The food was good when it came, salad bar is smaller than others I have been to.
I went here for my birthday and was extremely let down by all aspects of the meal. The service was not bad, but I would never consider this place over Fogo or Fogão Gaúcho in Bloomington. If it were $35 per person, their food quality would make sense. But for ~$55, I was disappointed. The picanha was dry and tasteless, and we tried it a few times to be sure. IMO, if there’s one cut a Brazilian steakhouse should do well, it’s the picanha. None of the other cuts wowed us, but the lamb and chicken hearts were good, as was the fried plantain - yes, singular, because they only serve you one for two people. I know we could’ve asked for more, but how strange. The salad bar is hardly even worth noting, as it is almost laughable compared to Fogo’s. The watermelon looked horrific, even though it’s in season, and the cold meats looked so unappetizing. Most of the meats were cooked OK, though some a bit over cooked for us. The limeade was tasty, and most of the staff were really nice. I hate to bash a restaurant, but it truly was a disappointing celebratory meal.
Very slow at bringing food around. Every time they asked if we had any requests, they never brought the food. Lamb was never brought to our table. It felt like they were trying to slow us down or cut us off. My drink never got refilled and the server asked everyone what they wanted for dessert except me. For having bad service, they shouldn’t automatically add 18% gratuity for a group of 7. We won’t be back.
I wouldn't pay for top shelf. Picanha, top and bottom sirloin are decent. We were there for 1.5 hours and had to ask 4 times for filet and ribeye. They definitely bring out cheap cuts like chicken, sausage, and pineapple to fill you up before the good stuff.
Salad bar was ok. Some ingredients needed to be replaced. A lot of employees being unprofessional and loud though like joking with each other. It’s good to have a good time but it’s a fine dining setting. The meat was mostly rare with no seasoning. The pineapple wasn’t good. Bloomington location way better. I will not return.
My group and I paid for the top-tier dining option, and the experience was beyond disappointing. Despite paying premium prices, we never received any of the higher-quality meats we were supposed to get. Servers repeatedly passed our table without stopping, and when we tried to get their attention, we were largely ignored. To make matters worse, we were charged for items without proper service, and even more frustrating, we were charged for water after specifically asking for tap water. That alone felt deceptive and unacceptable. What makes this even more frustrating is that despite the poor service, we still tipped generously, hoping to be fair and respectful. Unfortunately, that courtesy was not reflected in the level of service we received at any point during the meal. For a churrascaria that markets itself as a high-end dining experience, the service was unorganized, inattentive, and careless. The food we did receive was mediocre at best and absolutely not worth the cost. We left feeling frustrated, overcharged, and disappointed
To start off walking into this restaurant it is amazing, the atmosphere is spectacular and service top 10. I rate you 1/5 stars because you offered us the top shelf(dinner menu) or lunch menu. We chose top shelf because you get what you pay for. The meats come out and they were all delicious, we wondered when we would see the Filet mignon or the prime rib. We had to ask 3 times and even then they never brought it until the very end after we had already been eating for an hour. This is very deceptive and an awful strike as a first impression as a first time guest. We never even got the Hmong sausage which we were excited about. When I told the managing person in charge of our experience and requested a simple $20 reduction, we were denied, they only took $13/$14 and change off the bill. Similar experiences have happened to me at Fogo De Chau and their management personally came to our table, apologized for the dismal service and experience, offered free dessert and took one of the two meals off of the total bill. This ended in a reduction of $50+ depending on how many people we dined with. You offer nothing in the way of competition besides food. The food is good, but your service and attitude to poor customer experience is despicable. When confronted with your failures you proceed to disregard and not offer adequate compensation on the customer end but lean toward taking care of the business end. I understand that you have a business to run, but where is the pride in your establishment. What about this experience would ever draw me back to your business? To the owner, what do you have to say for this? Regards, a local Minnesotan.
We celebrated my son's 18th birthday tonight and left pretty disappointed in the service. Tonight, it seemed we were always waiting for things. The meat that came were always the same cuts. The water was hardly filled and glasses left empty for some time. The plates that needed to be cleared from the table sat there stacking up. The appetizers (cheese bread, in particular) were never refilled, whereas, in the past, it was always replenished. It was hard to find our waiter, nor was it easy to get his attention. We had to get up, walk over and ask him for the check and my son's bday dessert because we got tired of waiting. Worse, everyone else who was celebrating a birthday got special attention with many waiters/waitresses singing loudly "Happy Birthday" meanwhile our waiter dropped off the bday treat, lit up the candle, and walking away. Ouch! Was it that hard to give some special attention to my son for his 18th day??? Horrible! I should have challenged the TIP that was included into our bill. Service was not deserving of it at all! Oh - and they charge 3% for credit card usage. For such a business to charge 3% for credit card usage is mind-blowing! Never recommending this place, nor will I be going back.
Horrible!!!! Why overbook on valentines weekend? Obviously people will show up. Waited 45 minutes after our supposed reservation and name never got called. Hosts ignoring everyone and not making eye contact. Seemed stressed, but should’ve been up front and honest about the wait time. Still taking valet parking when they know it’s an hour+ wait.
Apparently having a reservation here means absolutly nothing. We were right on time and people walking in door after us still seated first. Horrible customer services from the girl at desk withbthe black curly hair who just kept saying going to have to wait. What's the point of reservations? They are obviously over booking.
Our waiter seemed very annoyed that we wanted new plates. He brought 1 beverage and never asked if we needed a second as glasses were empty. I requested the cheese twice and never came. All the meat kinda tasted the same. It was good but I got a lot of fat in my pieces. We came to the St. Paul area specifically to go to this restaurant and were quite disappointed. Fogo de chao was much better.
Actual rating -5 stars. Reservations are a joke. We waited, unnecessary amount of time to be seated and yet bigger parties arriving after us were seated first. We paid for top-shelf meat but service failed us. We received multiple offerings of chicken and cheese but only once for beef ribs and once for lamb chops ONLY AFTER three separate requests with three different individuals. Yet the meat was well done and not medium rare as requested. We paid for top-shelf but received bottom-shelf service and food. We will not support this business again.
