Love this place! The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and prices are good. We went for dinner 30 minutes before they closed, however they let us eat inside without rushing.
Amazing food. Great taste! Excellent service.
The food was very good, the staff friendly, the venue nice. Go!
We were delightful for the food abd the service we'got at this place. We ordered quesadillas and hummus just because we weren't that hungry, but we will come back for sure to try other plates.
I love Lebanese food and I was not disappointed at Za'taar. We happened to be there during Ramadan so it wasn't very busy. I had lamb kebobs (6 large pieces) with rice and Lebanese marinated salad. With every bite I tasted a new spice. My food came out hot. They had beautiful cakes freshly made from a bakery in the area. (I restrained myself, but next time I will have some.) And I was able to shop for groceries first at Ali Baba, a wonderful middle eastern
Service 10/10. Made my special needs daughter feel special. He was top notch making sure everything was great. Food: we ordered the biggest sampler plate, Beef Shawarma and Gyro. With 4 people and went home with TONS of leftovers. Food was hot and seasoned well. If you haven’t had a chance to try Zaatar I would highly recommend
This was first time my mom and I went to this restaurant and it was for a birthday party. Our waiter Mr. Khan was very attentive and was very patient with explaining the food that's served there and the fact that the restaurant was busy, he attended to our table in a timely matter. Food is very delicious and serve a lot on the plate. Next time I'll try the desserts on display.
Wow this place is a gem! So authentic so fresh! We were very impressed. We tried the lentil soup, kibbe, Lebanese style beef quesadilla, cheese manoushe, falafel, and chicken and beef shawarma and shish tawook plate (forgot to take a pic of the meat plates we were so excited to eat!). Got the Jelab drink too that was really refreshing! Everything tasted so good and I love the decor! We will definitely be coming back.
We went there for dinner. The food was great. The price was very reasonable. The staff was very helpful. We tried chicken and beef. Shawarma and both were great. The best and unique tasting spicy garlic sauce was to die for I really have no complaints.
I don't know how i had not tried this place until someone told me about it recently. I can't eat gluten or dairy so I don't visit restaurants often but this place is absolutely phenomenal. I should have ordered the salad with no cheese but I just dusted the cheese aside, every item in my order was delicious and freshly made.
The service was amazing, if I could rate this place a ten I would. Instantly I was greeted with a warm welcome by the manager and had seated us right away. The server instantly explained to us all the menu has to offer. The food was great as well, along with the amazing atmosphere there is nothing to complain about. A must try if you are in the area.
This was our first visit to this Middle Eastern restaurant which we discovered on Google Maps. The ratings were good, prices fair so why not. The good ratings didn’t disappoint, as soon as we walked in the smell of delicious Middle Eastern spices transformed us to last year’s visit to a Middle Eastern restaurant in Haifa. We started with Jelab, an iced Lebanese drink flavored with date syrup and rose water-delicious! Next came delicious falafel, which was very filling. Our mains were a gyro wrap and a kafta wrap. The gyro was filled with vegetables and tzatziki sauce. The kafta wrap also with vegetables and hummus and tahini. We added hummus to our mains and it was also delicious along with a warm in house made pita bread. We could only eat half of our order because it was so filling, we took the rest home for dinner. Overall an excellent experience with great service and atmosphere. Once you’ve completed your meal head next door to the Ali Baba International market for more Middle Eastern staples and fresh breads. Desert can be found right across the parking lot at Baklovah Bakery.
This place is cozy, the food is delicious, the service is fast, and I love the Lebanese tea. The service is excellent and top-notch. The staff named Zahed, he provides the best hospitality, very friendly and kind. I will be back again. Yalla, will be there often. Success for your business, I wish you all the best. Love Zaatar.
Food here was excellent as was the service. We ordered a variety of kebabs and appetizers. Everything was prepared perfectly and well seasoned. The fresh bread was also so tasty. The only negative was that they had the music playing quite loud and it was difficult to hold a conversation without talking quite loud. But this minor inconvenience did not detract from the wonderful food and wonderful service!
Our first time coming & we were thrilled. Plenty of parking, attentive waiters. We told them we were new to a smaller, more authentic version of Lebanese food. He recommended the Beef Kafta or Chicken. We went with beef & it was delicious! Well spiced, the salad was bright & fresh. The bread was perfectly cooked. Very delicious, all around very good. Hospitality was wonderful as well. Knowledgeable, friendly, and inviting. We WILL be going back to try the chicken next time. Thank you for a wonderful first time! - Stephany & Luis Borges
The service is top notch! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They made some suggestions for me to try and checked in on me as I enjoyed the meal. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. I did the mixed plate to try both the chicken and beef with rice and salad. The pickles 😋 😍 were superb. I enjoyed the tea service and bread. This place is not so visible from the roadway to catch your eye like some of the other places on the medical strip but it was a very pleasant atmosphere and updated furniture. I will be eating here again.
Plenty of seating when my friends rolled through on a Thursday evening. The service was friendly and prompt. The favorites amongst the group were the Turkish coffee and the items from the grill. I tried the calzone just for fun. It was pretty heavy with the meat and cheese, so I topped it with tabouleh to give it some freshness. Sounds silly, but the fries were my favorite part. Could be my favorite fries in San Antonio! The hummus wasn’t my favorite. Loved the wide variety of the menu, and I am excited to try more
The service here is phenomenal. Quick and helpful are all the staff. I loved their detailed menu. Everything is described so deliciously that it makes it hard to pick just one thing, so we got plenty! Highly recommend the calzone! So cheesy and soft! The fries are the best thing about this place! Warning: the “pizza” is small. Not meal worthy. Maybe a good appetizer.
Zaatar Lebanese Grill consistently delivers a wonderful dining experience. The food is fresh, flavorful, and prepared with clear attention to authenticity and quality. Every dish feels thoughtfully made, and the portions are generous without compromising taste. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to great service, which makes each visit feel comfortable and enjoyable. The restaurant maintains a clean, inviting atmosphere that reflects the warmth of Lebanese hospitality. Thank you for offering delicious food and consistently excellent service. It’s always a pleasure to dine here.
The food was decent tasting but chicken items cane out cold, almost like they were microwaved before serving. Salad was very good. Lentil soup is a definite must. Service was very good, we were seated immediately.
We stopped by Zaatar for a Saturday brunch and found the foods pretty amazing. The salad was very refreshing and the spice level was appropriate. Very good quantity and quality as well - could be two portions for one person. The pistachio cake with Turkish coffee was an absolute treat to end our brunch experience. Value for money for the amount & quality of food offered and free parking lot just in front of the restaurant. Not so busy around noon; spacious seating arrangements for one person to a group of 7-8 people as we saw that day. Recommend this place for experiencing delicious cuisine and especially their coffee - bakery items.
I would’ve give it a 5 start review because I mostly love the food here. My only complaint is that they never cook my beef all the way. Every time I’ve ordered the beef tenderloin kabob they give me the option to choose how I’d like it cooked, I always choose well done, but the always serve it more undercooked than it should be. Besides that, it’s a nice place overall.
They consider them self as Lebanese cuisine it’s far away from Lebanese and Mediterranean We orders fateh plate no salt no garlic and instead of yoghurt he put pure tahini also the meat flat bread the meat taste good but barely they put meat like we didn’t pay for it The hummus with beef on top was so greasy also the hummus was not fresh even if you use caned add lemon garlic and tahini it will have a taste The zaatar and cheese flat bread is good I hope the owner take some action cuz the atmosphere and service was good but food they need to work on it
