My friends & I enjoyed eating the udon noodles while catching up after work!

Overall this place is a must try Service & good are Great! My only thing I noticed was that something going on with that ventilation system. Too much dust hast accumulated everywhere near the ceiling. So pretty much eating food with dust Other than that the food is great 😃 Oh and side note: some older Asian people just stare incredibly rude to the point where you see them multiple times. All done ✅

Nice and HOT!! Great, speedy service too. My favorite of all the Sizzling Lunch locations I've been to in the Bay. Every dish has been a hit here for me but pictured below is the Kurobuta Pork Belly Pepper Rice plate. I recommend one of the Beef Pepper Rice plates for your first visit (I like the Spicy Garlic). Consider adding some cheese as it melts in very nicely and binds all together super well. Don't miss out!!!

Favorite place to go with my babe! We normally get cheese corn and hot garlic meat sizzling platter with rice. The staff is always friendly and relaxed. In reality, if you value sizzling plates, this is the place to go while stay within your budget! I love garlic, so I always get extra garlic butter!!! I go there about 2-3 times every month since I never get tired of it. Definitely recommend.

Depending who the server is dictates the service. Half of the time, it's decent. What's exceptional is the food. Really good rice plates. Excellent sides. I believe there's a takeout option, but I've always dined in because it's cooked on a hot plate and probably wouldn't taste as good reheated. Recommendation; cheese fries, rice plate (I like the pepper beef and the pork belly plates), gyoza. Everything is a hit, there are no misses at this establishment.

I've tried several Sizzling Lunch locations in different cities but it's the first time I've visited this one. It was on a busy Sunday so there was no to available tables, so our party of 4 walked in, signed up for the waiting list, and in about 15 minutes the text that our table is ready came in. We were seated and ordered our food, which came out very fast. It was hot, delicious, and we were very happy with the service. The fries were absolutely amazon tasting and became my favorite appetizers. The main courses were also good and we had a really nice lunch. The food was very filling and the ambiance of the restaurant was very welcoming

Awesome food! They serve you the protein raw with either rice or udon. The SIZZLING hot skillet cooks the meat for you as you mix it. It really is delicious and very filling. I can’t recommend enough the beef udon.

This place is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. They definitely got the right stuff going for their business, each table has its own tablet that you can use to order from a list of selections from their menu. The varieties of food selections are reasonably good, you really can't go wrong even if you only come in for the appetizers. It's a great place to take your friends or a date, there's a waiting list if you come at their busiest but if you don't like the crowd just come after 7:30pm.

If you tried Pepper Lunch before, you have to try Sizzling Lunch. Similar concept with more options on sizzling plates, appetizers and drinks. This is our third time eating here. We ordered the onion beef pepper rice with added fried garlic and corn. We also had the hamburger steak and sliced beef with curry sauce on the side. Both these dishes were great. Loved the curry sauce over the hamburger steak and you can use their sauces for the sliced beef. The onion beef was pretty much the same as the garlic beef as I did add the fried garlic with it. It still filled my taste buds. IMO, way better than Pepper Lunch

Really solid spot for lunch/dinner. Good for travel business meals, maybe not for a nice client dinner. The food is excellent and service is attentive, although the space is small and needs better ventilation in the dining area. The main portions are sizeable (if not big), I will definitely come back.

Check in with the tablet in the front then you have to wait outside. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is plenty at the plaza. I ordered the pepper beef and pork belly which are their more popular options. The portion was a good amount for one to two people. You have to follow the steps on the wall to get the best experience for this dish. Try to spread the raw meat and rice evenly on the hot plate then wait a good 5 mins. After that, the rice should be crispy golden brown at the bottom and meat is medium cooked. Then you can add the sauce of your choice. The meat and rice didn't have much favor even with the butter and pepper. So you do have to add the sauce if it's too bland. Overall, the meat tasted fresh without much frozen favors. You order with the tablet on the table, service was quick and everything seemed clean. I would recommend this place for a quick bite or to experience sizzling plate style.

Nice and clean spot for teppanyaki. There used to be digital tablets to order the food; nowadays it's through your phone by QR. These days I pretty much always order the classic garlic beef pepper rice. Food/ingredient quality is consistently good. Be aware the spicy ver is fairly spicy. Adding teriyaki sauce is *chef's kiss*

Ordered the Garlic Beef pepper rice and the spicy version of it through a tablet on the table. The server was friendly and gave a quick rundown of how to order. Food came out shortly thereafter and both were delicious and the portions were generous. They also have a ponzu sauce and teriyaki to add more flavor to the dish if desired. Will definitely come back to this nice little spot for some great food

The most delicious meal I’ve had all month! We were originally walking to go somewhere else, but passed Sizzling Lunch along the way and decided to go instead since it smelled so good. The salmon udon was my favorite, especially since the bottom of the udon and salmon got really nice and crispy. I liked that the food had an interactive component: we got to flip the protein over to cook by ourselves, and also add sauces to our own personal taste (eg you can keep things extremely light or heavier on salt/flavor depending on what you prefer). Can’t wait to visit again!

I had garlic beef rice with extra butter and that was delicious I ordered 2 more things. Kimchi beef rice and the other is beef rice. Overall we enjoyed the meal and it's worth getting garlic butter in the side.

We ordered shrimp tempura and takoyaki for appetizers. My oldest daughter ordered udon noodles with beef. I ordered the beef with pasta. I the pasta came with a marinera sauce so I opted out. On the table they have a teriyaki sauce and garlic shoyu sauce. when the dishes came out they were on hot plates so i added the table sauces to my dish and mixed it to cook evenly. Everything was really good. Overall we really enjoyed the experience. Can not wait to come back to try more items and bring my sisters and friends.

The restaurant looks clean and the waitress is nice and kind. If you pay cash you’ll get 5% discount. I would recommend this place and we will come back again.

When I first came in, I noticed that it was pretty quiet. Fair enough, it was between man rushes. The wooden chairs and tables were nice and homey. There are two televisions, one on each side. There was also an informative panel on the back wall about how to make the food. The waiter was very welcoming. He told me to pick a table and came over once I selected a table. He offered three options, which is neither too many nor too few, so as to give the illusion of choice and control. I asked him if the restaurant was a chain, a franchise, or an independent. Turns out they are a Bay Area chain, though he was very reluctant to reveal that. Shrugs. I ordered two drinks, the hot tea and calamansi sugarcane juice. I was excited to see sugar cane on the menu for just over five dollars. However, the large size is just under ten dollars; the calamansi is a free modification. The sugarcane juice was pretty good, but certainly not as good as that at the farmers market. Eh, you get what you pay for. The hot tea at $2.50 has free refill. For food, I originally ordered the beef udon. However, I noticed that they had cold tofu, so ordered the hiyyako instead. To complement that, I ordered miso soup. But what about the sizzle, you may ask. For that, I ordered a plate of cooking vegetables. Boring, yes, and a teensy bit regrettable, but the sizzle tax has to be paid. The miso soup was phenomenal though, with inari strips and not-raw scallions. The bowl was pretty too; i like that dash of white amid the black. Sauce for tofu was great, and who’s gonna say no to cold tofu in summer?

I ordered the spicy garlic beef pepper rice $17. In reality it's just 75% white rice, 20% beef, 5% corn. Once the beef is cooked, there's maybe 2 oz. So you are mainly eating carbs. Those on a low carb diet will still be hungry after. Food overall has good flavor and you can customize it further with all the sauces and seasonings on the table. The rice does get nice and crispy from the hot stone. Overall, food is decent, nothing special, but poor value for your money Small restaurant but with lots of small tables inside and a few outside as well. It's a bit smokey inside, but not as bad as kbbq places. Order by QR code and pay at the front after. Service was minimal but fine. Large shared parking lot

In the past, I had good experiences eating here. For the first time today, I ordered Togo here. I ordered the cheese fries here and I was very dissatisfied that Togo cheese fries quantity is much smaller than dine in. I recommend they reduced the price for the cheese fries to go if they are going to skimp customers. Attached is two pics
