Wasabi Sushi Bar - St Charles

I love this place. We have been here more then once and each time the food was perfect and the service was awesome too. Not to pushy but still paid attention to us and made sure we were good while we ate.

My wife and I are new to sushi and this did not disappoint. The sushi was fresh, vibrant, and delicious! I’m trying to convince her to come back again next weekend.

I was in town with my wife & we both love a good sushi place. Wasabi Sushi Bar did not disappoint at all. All of the rolls we ordered were amazing, made with fresh ingredients & crafted with love. Our server was insightful, helping us to decide on a few choices that we were undecided on. Overall, our experience was great, the atmosphere is welcoming, the service was great & the food was wonderful. For all that we got, I expected the bill to be higher, but I was surprised when it was brought to the table. We will definitely come back to Wasabi Sushi Bar next time we are in town. One of the rolls we ordered, The Super Saiyan, comes out to the table on fire, which made for a nice presentation. This place is doing it right, if you want great sushi that won’t break the bank, this place is worth the visit!

Delicious apps, sushi, and drinks! We got the Spicy Garlic Edamame and the Crispy Rice as appetizers. We got Dragons Breath, Come and Get It, Spicy Mango, Super Saiyan, and Rainbow rolls. Absolutely delicious! Jae was our wonderful server! She was fantastic. We had such a wonderful evening there 🍣 Would come back again

It was very good! It took us one hour to be seated and another full hour to be served. The bill was rather high…we had $21 in sushi. The rest of our $107 tab was 2 miso soups + 4 cocktails. Again, there wasn’t an itemized receipt.

They have great sushi that actually has more filling than rice. Pricing is decent, no bargain but in line with other places. Prompt orders, attentive service. Server was amazing. Asked for suggestions and gave several options. Had the Come and get it. Was delicious. Also had dessert. Had the one that looks like a berry cheesecake. Tasted delicious! Really liked the crazy, playboy, shrimp tempura, and the fox roll. Love their specials. Monday- happy hour all day, Tuesday- $6 rolls

Our staff team of 20+ ate here for our 4th annual event. Lauren was amazing at getting our order in quick and the service was unbeatable! Drinks, appetizers, and food were all so good! We will be back!

It was my birthday last night and we had a 6 person reservation which on a Friday I knew that was gonna be difficult. I walked in and was immediately seated and greeted by our server Lauren. I told her it was my birthday and I have been waiting all year to be able to get a sushi boat and how I saved up all my points. Even though it was crazy busy, Lauren took the time to make sure all my guests had their drinks quickly. We had our appetizers quickly and the food came out and it was absolutely spectacular. Every time we come here, Lauren takes care of us. whatever she’s making triple it. It was insane last night and I still got amazing service 👏🏽👏🏽

I’ve tried many sushi places but I will have to say the sushi here was so flavorful and fresh compared a lot of the other places I’ve tried. The Super Saiyan was the best roll I’ve ever had.. not even kidding. Also Lauren was a great server! She was very attentive and kind! I will definitely be returning to Wasabi!

Tana was amazing! The food was phenomenal. I am gluten free and have been coming here for sushi for about a year. I tried the fried rice for the first time tonight and I wanted to cry it was so good!

Wasabi was phenomenal! I arrived with a friend and was not sure what to order, so I asked our server (Lauren) who provided a comprehensive explanation of the rolls along with a tailored suggestion based off what my ideal roll-vibe was. It made our meal and I will definitely be back. This meal was more than just food with a friend, it was an experience. Thanks again Lauren, I'll be back!!

Always the best of service! Amazing for people that have gluten allergies! The waiters are all sweet, on point, and attentive. The food makes you feel good, even when you’re full! the weekly specials make it so much more budget friendly too!

Absolutely amazing sushi. Great variety of items for those not interested in raw fare. The gyoza were some of my favorite I have ever had. The Maki rolls were great. While almost all of them had avocado you can customize to an extent if that isn't your preference. I got a platter and the presentation and variety was superb. While they didn't have a lot of saki, the ones they did have were quite good. Lexi was my waitress and she was very polite and attentive.

I love coming on Tuesdays with their deal you can’t beat it! Food was fantastic. I absolutely love the Spivey omega and playboy. And Michelle was fantastic, my mom asked for recommendations and Michelle was quick to offer them. She told us the name of each roll as they came out and answered any questions.

B was awesome! She seated us right away and was very attentive. There was a pumpkin spice espresso martini on their seasonal cocktail menu that sounded amazing, but I do not drink alcohol. She was able to accommodate my needs and have the drink made without alcohol and it was amazing! Highly recommend ordering that drink! My husband and I frequent here often and everyone is always so amazing and welcoming everytime. The sushi and appetizers never disappoint!

As always michelle is super attentive to us as guest. She went above and beyond to make sure my son had everything he needed. She is always my favorite server when I come here. Thanks again.

I am gluten and lactose intolerant, allergic to soy, high fructose corn syrup, coconut and red dye 40. My waitress was Jae and she was very accomodating and ensured my dietary restrictions were upheld all the way down to the oil that my food was cooked with. 10/10 I highly recommend visiting this location.

I love coming to this place every chance I get, and always receiving the best service in Saint Charles. I'm always glad that we get served by the same waitress, Alexia. She is such a gem and the most down to earth person that has ever served me. The food is always top notch and it never cease to amaze me how delicious the food is. 20/10, will forever recommend! ✨👍✨

Beonnicca and team was fabulous!! Tuesdays during happy hour was prime time to go. We’ve been several times before and tried all new things tonight. The stuffed jalapeños and omega roll were the best!

Had an excellent experience, staff was attentive and accommodating, could not be more pleased. I will recommend to others and will definitely be back. Greatest restaurant experience of 2025. The manager Lauren was professional, polite, and overall the way every manager should be.

Michelle was fantastic! My family loves this place and we also have a daughter with celiac disease and she was super attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back for sure!!

My friends and I LOVE Wasabi. We go regularly for the delicious sushi and of course, our favorite server, Michelle M. My friend has a gluten allergy and Wasabi is one of the best restaurants in the area for providing delicious, allergy friendly food. My personal favorites are the fried rice and the spicy omega roll. As delicious as the food is, we are regulars because we always have amazing service. Most of the time, we are lucky enough to get Michelle as our server. She’s attentive and kind and we love seeing her when we come in.

Food was delicious. Michelle M. was our server and she was professional, prompt, checked in with us and very nice overall. We had playboy roll and shrimp tempura. Both fabulous. Chicken Katsu was cooked perfectly, served with a unami glaze. Always great here. Plus, rolls are only $7 on Tuesday, anything $17 or under!

Food was yummy! We can in after Valentine's Day and the wait for our food was a bit long however our server was great! Price is reasonabe however I do think the serving size was a bit small in comparison.

Jay was fantastic, and the miso soup was one of the best ones I've ever had. Like a miso/clear soup had a baby. The bento box was okay, the chicken was very tough. But the spring rolls that came with it was fantastic

We love coming here every Tuesday for their $7 special. Our food is always delicious and the service is genuine. We love seeing Michelle. They tend to be on the busier side but she’s always accommodating and gets to us when she can. Makes the wait worth it bc we know she’s working as fast as she can.

I asked for server Michelle who wasn't available/working then Lauren took it upon herself to say we SHOULD Be seated with her, I asked for another server, she didn't like that and came to our table to make us feel VERY uncomfortable, if she's working we will not be back, she has the worst customer service ever and should never be around people, your restaurant will lose money with her in your establishment!!! You need more server's like Michelle she needs to be your manager!

We called ahead and reserved a table for 3, that was available as soon as we arrived, super awesome. It was busy, our waitress was fun and kind. We ordered our appetizer and rolls at the same time, and we got all of our food in a very timely fashion. We had: 3 house salads - ginger dressing, it was just ok, the orange zest flavor was overwhelming, making it just ok. Edamame was served complimentary and was delicious. We order 6 rolls in all. They tasted GREAT! We ordered 2 rolls and rice to go, and this was a terrible idea, because we ended waiting longer for those 2 rolls than we did for our full meal. When the waitress did finally bring our food that we waited over 30 mins for, she kind of slammed it on the table, it wasn't very professional. 🤷‍♀️ She was sympathetic that we were frustrated, but didn't offer anything to compensate our time or annoyance. There was over $100 spent, it was a poor way to end our night of delicious sushi.

It’s always a red flag for me when a place is empty on a Saturday night. I had to clean my seat before I sat down. We decided to order some crab Rangoons while we looked over the menu but when they came out smushed and burnt we decided to just pay for our appetizer and leave. Our server was nice but that’s about it.

Does not adhere to allergy instructions. Ordered off of DoorDash and was overjoyed to see soy and sesame allergies as options when ordering. Ordered a salmon Poke bowl and it was COVERED in sesame seeds. The receipt said avocado allergy and soy allergy. Never put avocado as an option. Contacted door dash: $5 on something I can’t eat. Sad, they’re great in person. No so much ordering online. So I’m not sure how someone is supposed to get the proper food or contact door dash to alert someone about this.

I have loved this place and been many times. I haven’t been in a couple years, but have loved every previous experience. I decided to get a poke bowl instead of sushi this time and apparently I messed up. There’s not even one roll worth of fish in it. I counted the tiny pieces and got to 11. There’s more rice than any other ingredient. Absolutely ruined my night especially since with one appetizer and this it was nearly $40. I’ve been to several other sushi places and they not only have quality but I’m able to get not only way better service than being ignored at the counter while the guy up there messes around on his phone and able to get more than not even baby handful of fish. I should’ve checked before I left on how bad this was but insane how much the quality has gone down.
