Looking out over the sparkling, sunny Columbia River from our outside table was exquisite. Our server Dave was also amazing. The Bloody Marys and the Calamari appetizer were perfect; and our Lunch combo of Seafood Chowder and French Dip met the high mark also. We were blown away that they could top all this with the dessert, Coconut Cream Pie, but they did! We'll be repeat customers for sure!
Food is really fresh! We’ve also been to their Beaverton location….just as good, but this one has a great view of the River.
The music is very light here You can barely hear it over the chatter but it's the very pleasant place. It offers a lovely view of the river outside. We ordered the garlic prawns for an appetizer and they were delectables. The prawn for cooked perfectly and the sauce was delightful. After that we got our main dishes my husband ordered the steak he said it was cooked to perfection. My two boys ordered cheeseburgers and they had no complaints. I ordered the sausage and mushroom pepper dale pasta and it was wonderful. Handmade pasta with perfect. I really liked it. Back was our waiter today he is a sweet man who gave us a tip to save our sauce from our entree and dip the shoe string fries in it. It was a great combination. My daughter ordered the fish and chips and I have to say I thought it was pretty tasty. Well but the grease did upset her stomach a little bit. The blackberry raspberry lemonade palata seeds in it and a lot of basil so it tastes a little off. Does strawberry lemonade was pretty good but it also had a lot of seeds in it. The Coca-Cola has a bit of a herb taste to it which I found strange. So the food for excellent here but the drinks are a little different. Overall though I have no real complaints. Outside seating is available upon request. No reservations needed You can just walk in.
Our experience was amazing! From the time we walked in, Kyle greeted us with the most friendly welcoming greeting, swiftly sat us, and got our drinks right away. He answered all our questions, made great suggestions, and described the dishes with such great detail. You can tell he’s passionate about his job, and his attention to the customers and knowledge of the food shows it even more. His personality and engagement made us want to come back more than the food, hard to find service that great. I would be shocked if he’s not the top performing employee. We were also helped by Ari, who was equally great. She was very friendly and engaged with our son which always gets bonus points for us. She helped me choose my dish, and it did not disappoint. They were both on top of refills and making sure we had anything we needed before and after our food came. To top off the experience, all the food we got was great. Cooked to perfection, excellent flavor. We will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone.
I love the Wildfin Restaurant! The App tower was like heaven for your mouth! It had crispy rice with ahi tuna, garlic prawns and calamari. Everything was 🥰 just perfect together. The seafood chowder and fish tacos are also my favorite lunch items. The parking garage across the street was a reasonable 6 dollars. My compliments to the staff. They were so friendly and professional. Made my day!
Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff were attentive, polite, friendly and professional. It got very busy during the dinner rush (our reservation was for 5pm) and the crew handled it with grace and proficiency. Michael was very busy and did the best he could to make sure we had what we needed. Food was cooked to perfection and seasoned evenly. Price was as you'd expect for an establishment of this quality. For appetizers we got the garlic prawns & rosemary potato bread as appetizers. The fig butter is SO GOOD!! I got the Surf & Turf Sirloin & Salmon. It was served well plated with a side of asparagus. For dessert I ordered the Kaluha chocolate creme pie. Holy crap it was massive and after all the other food I needed a box after a few bites. It was rich, creamy and delicious. The crust was perfectly flaky and light. My companion ordered the butterscotch brulee and absolutely loved it. Price is hefty but well worth the experience.
Got a ribeye at a fish place and it was awesome! The happy hour is great too. Chowder is on point. Cant go wrong here.
Went her for a work party dinner and it was great service and really good food. The all in fish in chips is really all in and tasty. Prime rib was cooked perfectly and the scallops were very delicious. Also got the cheddar fondue and multiple people fought over who got to lick the fondue bowl clean, we should have gotten 2 orders. Sign up for their email list prior to eating here and you get a free appetizer. We have gone back multiple times since our initial visit years ago.
Amazing texture to the calamari, best I ever had. Wonderful French onion soup. The Huckleberry Collins was a wonderful drink.
Lovely restaurant on the Columbia River in Vancouver. Nice variety of non-alcoholic drinks. Non-fried fish was very good. The fry on the Fish and Chips was heavy and greasy and just not done. Seems like they were trying to make small pieces of fish look bigger. Non-fried fish was yummy and flakes. Peppered steak was satisfying.
Such a great place for fish dishes. Lovely choices of wine as well. And cherry on the cake amazing view on the river. WildFin American Grill in Vancouver, WA, is a popular waterfront restaurant known for its fresh seafood, premium steaks, and scenic Columbia River views. Reviews highlight the quality of the food, with dishes like seafood chowder, garlic prawns, scallops, and clam steamers receiving praise for flavor and preparation. The restaurant offers a casual yet stylish atmosphere, suitable for family dining and special occasions, with kid-friendly menus and attentive service noted positively. Service experiences can vary; You will get attentive and friendly staff. The ambiance is lively and sometimes noisy, typical of a bustling bar and grill setting. Parking near the restaurant can be challenging due to city construction and limited spaces, which some reviewers found frustrating but unrelated to the restaurant itself. Overall, WildFin American Grill is well-regarded for its food quality, riverfront location, and welcoming environment, making it a recommended spot for seafood lovers and families visiting the Vancouver waterfront.
This was our first time visiting Wildfin and we were not disappointed. We went for dinner and between the four of us we had the Face Rock Cheddar Fondue as an appetizer. Delicious! There were four of us and the first member of our party had the Superfood House Salad plus Street Tacos as their entree. They said both dishes were flavorful and would definitely order them again. The second member of the party had the "All-In" Fish &: Chips and while they did not like the corn chowder (too smoky) the staff happily swapped it out. A third party member had the Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the grits were very enjoyable. Finally the fourth person had the Cajun Chicken Fettuccine. During my order the waitress advised me that the dish was spicy. I love hot/spicy food and was worried it wouldn't be spicy enough, but it was the perfect blend of flavor and spice. Some cocktails were had as well. For dessert we had the Chocolate Overload Cake and the Caramel Apple Pie. The pie was the only disappointment of the night as it was more of a cobbler since it didn't have a crust (my wife was a pastry chef and those are her words). I won't lie, it was spendy, averaging $50 per person for 1 appetizer, four entrees, 2 cocktails and two desserts, but it was worth the price.
I stopped in for a quick bite and was not disappointed! The wine selection is great and the service was phenomenal. The restaurant is spacious, beautiful, and the view is so relaxing. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and they even have a huge bar. I offered the fish tacos which were delicious and the pico de gallo was so fresh. There are a ton of options around but I can say this was a great choice.
Visited WildFin American Grill in Vancouver, Washington. If you haven't been, this is another one worth visiting the service was great. The food was really good and the ambience was right near the waterfront. They have an early dinner menu which I thought was pretty good. You can pick three different items for $33 one being appetizer, main course, and a dessert. The calamari you see was part of the appetizer. My wife had the fish and chips which I thought was a really good portion, and then we had the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. additionally, I ordered the clams and I had the sirloin and salmon 😉
Honestly received some of the best customer service ever here. I think our waiters name was Kai, you can tell everyone there goes above and beyond to provide you with great service. The food was super great, i got the chicken Cesar salad and it was so yum. My fiancé got to the seafood pasta, and we got clam chowder soup as an appetizer it was some of the best clam chowder i've ever had. Lastly we got desert the chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, it was so yummy! Overall the whole setting felt perfect. We will defiantly be coming back. 😊
Fantastic! Great selection and variety of fresh fish in unique creations of dishes and unique takes on typical dishes you'd expect at a seafood restaurant. I've been here twice, once on a sunny day when I sat outside and once on a rainy day when I sat inside. The atmosphere was relaxing yet elegant on both occasions, and the service was excellent on both occasions as well. The bar also has a huge selection, featuring original cocktail recipes. It's worth noting that the recipes for the dishes are so unique and complex that accommodating dietary restrictions might be difficult. This is a great choice for everything from happy hour to special occasions to business meetings.
Great seafood selections, and drinks. I had the mango spritzer, it's very refreshing. I didn't feel like having seafood so I had the cheeseburger and the patty was very thick and cooked to my liking, definitely recommend. My friend had the seafood Alfredo and said it was delicious. Theyt're bread is to die for as well. Had to wait for a long time to get our orders in but other than that, it was a good experience.
The restaurant did an amazing job from their appetizers, amazing entrees and dessert. The service we received was fantastic and we did not wait long for our food to arrive. The fillet was cooked exactly to my request temperature and the vegetables it came with was amazing. The service was great with our large party!
This is easily my favorite spot for happy hour when I come back home to Vancouver for a visit! The seafood tower is truly amazing and something I crave when I'm away! The scratch margarita is awesome, great wine & beer selections, and they also have a few good non-alcoholic options. What more could you want right on the beautiful waterfront!
Wonderful American cuisine featuring local ingredients and a fine selecting of beer, wine and signature cocktails. Our waiter was delightful. He was both friendly and informative about the menu items. The view is lovely and you can enjoy a stroll on the walking path during your visit. We will definitely be back.
This food was exceptional! The service was good. I do wish we were checked on more often, but it was a large restaurant, and it was busy. The steak and rock fish was very tender and not dry in the slightest. For appetizers, we had one of each taco on the menu. We also ordered the rosemary bread, and that was a game charger!
Great atmosphere! It's a nice restaurant but has a casual feel. It looks upscale but most people were not dressed up. The restaurant has great views of the river with both indoor and outdoor seating. Everything that we ordered tasted fresh and real. The lemonade, peach sparkler, and peach pie did not taste like artificial syrups. The calamari started was cooked just right; it was not chewy or rubbery. The staff were knowledgable, attentive and the service was fast. Overall a great experience.
I had a late lunch here on Sunday afternoon when it was gray and raining outside (typical winter PNW weather). This restaurant is at the revitalizing Vancouver Columbia River front. My table was at the windows facing the river bank giving us a nice view of the I5 bridge. Nice selection of food and the Prickly Pear cocktail is really good. Food came out quickly and presentation of plates was top notch. I enjoyed the meal and plan to be back.
Absolutely loved it! The service was amazing 🙌🏼 I definitely recommend making a reservation. Thankfully my husband made one and we didn’t have to wait 😊 We had their clam chowder as appetizers and it was delicious 🤤 I had the seafood fettuccine Alfredo, So good! Stole a bite from my husband’s burger and just Wow! The drink is the blackberry lemonade highly recommended 🤤
Wild Finn Restaurant is always a five star experience. I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and has always exceeded expectations. The decor is modern, spacious and very inviting. The hostesses are always friendly, pleasant, and very professional. Now onto the food. I had the summer harvest salad, which was fresh with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, strawberries, pumpkin seed and goat cheese. I also had calamari, which was soft, tender, and out of this world delicious. The bread they serve with the meal had the most awesome fig butter that I have ever had. Lastly, the three berry dessert was fantastic! The only recommendation I would make is to add an extra scoop of vanilla ice cream. Michelle was a fantastic server who engaged all of her clients, and she was very attentive and very professional. You definitely need to check out Wild Finn!
Came in December and they were packed. Service was timely even though they were busy. I was surprised how noisy it was. We ordered the blackberry basil lemonade, bottled root beer, artichoke appetizer, ribeye sandwich, and shepherds pie. The lemonade was tart without being too tart and the basil and blackberry paired nicely. The artichokes were richly seasoned with a side of butter. I wished it would have come with a couple pieces more (4), but it was delicious. My husband had the ribeye and fries. They fries were hot and crispy...one of the best fries I have had. My husband thought the sandwich was delicious. I'll take his word because it had bleu cheese. The shepherds pie was savory. The meat was tender and the whole dish just melted in your mouth. 8 was only able to eat half of it, but will thoroughly enjoy the other half another time.
Their bread with selection of butters are so delicious for a starter. The service is lovely and the open kitchen concept is nice to witness the cooks at work. They have a delicious sausage and mushroom pasta that I really enjoyed. Plus a great view of the waterfront. A great place to dine at.
I like the location, next to the water. Lovely interior atmosphere. The servers were kind and funny and efficient. And the FOOD, the food was Ambrosial. We had fish and chips. The fish was tasty and light and the chips were crispy and still had a taste. But, to me, the coleslaw slaw was one of the stars of the show......my husband says that the drink he had was the way a drink should be..not watered down and tastes like what you ordered....we took home the valuable pie and will let you know.
This is the second time I’m here in a period of 2.5 years and it’s still the same service. Friendly but not efficient. The food it’s okay. The sea food appetizer are great, however this time we ordered steak and oh man so disappointed! It lack flavor and the veggies also were not good! If you happened to go just order appetizers and enjoy the people walking by or the live music that sometimes is on the riverwalk. The atmosphere is good. But I would just go for drinks and snacks. Not dinner as we did.
Wanted to try this seafood place with a friend who lives in the area. We had the baked brie appetizer and it did not disapoint. I had the surf and turf with filet and sole, a cup of clam chowder and my friend had the parmesean crusted sole and risotto. They had no Halibut which bummed my friend out.. All in all food was pretty good. Service was a bit slow with not a ton of people in the restuarant when we got there. BUT he was great with the food and drinks so no real complaints on service. For the price I think the food was ok, atmosphere was good, so we could talk without yelling at each other. Would probably go back.
A great place to come to eat. The food is solid and the value is decent. Good place to come for seafood. Had the steak, salad and clam chowder and it was all delicious. Just a generally solid place to come for an evening meal or a good lunch.
Stopped in around 3 pm without a reservation and got a table inside right away. The fish and chips were solid — crispy fries with a soft center, and the coleslaw had apple in it, which was a nice touch. Good food, quick service, relaxed vibe.
The outdoor seating is especially nice with a view of the Columbia River and waterfront area. The servers were very attentive and the food arrived quickly on an early Saturday afternoon. The seared ahi tuna salad ($25.) was very filling with just the right amount of perfectly cooked tuna on top. The wasabi dressing was a touch strong but worked well for dipping the ahi in. I liked the variety of vegetables in the salad including edamame. My wife had the fish and chips. They were pretty good but on the edge of being soggy from the start. Kind of pricey for cod and fries ($23., I believe) with a small bowl of coleslaw. Really everything is on the pricey side but the view, unique salad and great service made it worth it. I’d come back for more!
Good... ...Food ...decor ...view ...architecture. WOW! After dawdling around trying to decide where to eat at, we decided to brave the crowds here and try this place. Surprised that the wait wasn't too long at all! Even if you had to wait though, it's well worth it to be inside (and not rained on). But the walk inside is AMAZING! Nice and modern! Stock full of all sorts of drinks, and with an extensive menu to boot! The food is great! It's fresh! Staff were good, and patient with us. Best of all, the view from the inside was GREAT! Just be careful on some sunny days, where the sun comes out and shines on the river, bouncing off the giant glass windows. But still, it's a beautiful site to see. One of the best views of the riverfront from the inside, as you enjoy great food and drinks! You won't regret it!
Romantic and beautiful restaurant water front Vancouver Washington. Crews are nice and kind. Foods are good too just when I went to restroom. 3 toilets they had but 2 toilets had a no toilet paper I sat on the toilet and zipper up 🤦♀️and moved next one. I checked toilets door to door. Only one they have. And after wash hand no hand wipes or tissues. I mean it’s a high quality restaurant but restroom doesn’t look an organized. But my steak, salmon my husband’s ribeye was wonderful and delicious. I love beer samplers. Highly recommend. Our server lady was a great job. I really like her positivity attitude.
We came here for a birthday lunch and we all had a great experience. The service was top notch along with the food. There were many entrees which were different. I couldn’t decide so I asked the server for her favourite. I had the Parmesan Crusted Sole. I was impressed as the fish was cooked to perfection. The others were also impressed with the Seafood Chowder, Street Tacos, and Shrimp & Grits. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, ask for a table near the window. You’ll have a wonderful view of Columbia River. I mentioned to the server that we had a birthday celebration, and she brought us the Bread Pudding. It was delish. Make sure you make reservations as it gets busy. There’s parking across the street in the big lot at a reasonable price. We’ll be back!
Great view, delicious food. Difficult to find parking on busy days. I am updating my review to add that the staff were not friendly to my kids. They didn't say "hi" and stood around talking to each other as we left the restaurant when they saw us with our hands full - they didn't open the door. Also, the bathroom was not the cleanest and only had kitchen napkins for wiping your hands. Overall, despite a few things that I mentioned weren't perfect with my visits, I really enjoyed my meals. Both times I had reservations for the restaurant.
WildFin is definitely a treat if you’re out looking for a bite of seafood on the Vancouver waterfront! It does trend a little bit on the spendy side, but hey, that location is everything and it’d be weird if you didn’t pay for it. That being said, the food is worth it. The chef here has created some fantastic dishes, and we didn’t have a single thing we didn’t like. Drinks were also great. I particularly liked the habanero cocktail and the huckleberry tom collins. Service was plenty friendly, accommodating, and courteous. The only opportunity here was the timeline— we didn’t see water or drinks for a solid half hour, and it was a bit over an hour into sitting down by the time we had our dishes. We weren’t checked on much, but I suspect they were pretty busy, even for a Wednesday. I do recommend having a reservation— we did. Absolutely would come back.
Happy hour was fun, reasonably priced and our server (Reyna) was excellent . The Power Salad was not on the happy hour menu, but it was delicious and very filling. The Avacado toast with shrimp was tasty, but the crust was so tough my wife had trouble cutting it let alone chewing it. Can't go wrong with the fish and chips.
Good spot for some delicious seafood. Probably need to make a reservation or swing by outside of their busy times. Service seems to drop when they’re really busy. Food quality is good! The staff are friendly.
We enjoyed some refreshing drinks one afternoon while taking in the breathtaking view of the Colombian river. The prices were quite reasonable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. However, I was a bit frustrated by the staff's insistence on rushing us to settle the bill, especially since we were catching up with old friends and wanted to savor the moment. It put a damper on what was otherwise a lovely afternoon.
I came her for lunch with a small party. There was a friendly greeter as we walked in the door. The restaurant was bustling with people, but even then, we received our food in a somewhat timely fashion once we placed our order. The dishes were hit-or-miss. I ordered a lunch combination - half of an Oyster Po' Boy sandwich and the superfood salad with raspberry vinaigrette. If you have a hearty appetite like me, that combination is not for you. I would've left hungry if I hadn't helped others finish their food. The salad tasted like they forgot to shake up the dressing before they put it on. The dressing tasted just like oil, with maybe a hint of lemon that missed the bowl. On the contrary, the sandwich was deliciously flavorful and tasty. However, the crust was so hard that it was tough getting a bite off. I tried the French onion soup, which one of my companions ordered, and it was incredibly delish! If I went again, I'd order that. The restaurant was so loud that you could hardly hear yourself think (a combination of many peoples' voices and the booming music). The prices are sky-high, so you have to order the right thing to make the visit worthwhile.
Great location, the view is amazing. I like the extra steps they have taken because of covid 19. 5 stars for the service but the food was a 2 star in my opinion. The shrimp was overcooked, the halibut was dry, the steak and veggies lacked seasoning.
I made a reservation for 6:45, spoke to a hostess that called who informed me there would be a large group of 30 arriving at 6:30 and to make sure we were still interested. I said yes, we can get there earlier, which we did show up at 6:15. We ended up being rebooked to 7pm due to the chef not being able to accommodate us until then. We ended up with poor choices on the menu due to options being sold out (6 dishes sold out- 4 appetizers and 2 entrees), along with menu choices changed prior (no more King Salmon- Steelhead has replaced it going forward) and a non- updated menu, then served dinner an hour and a half after our arrival due to the large party not deciding until after 7pm. Once we received our food, the dishes were tasty. Felt like we could have been accommodated prior to the large group, seeing how our group of 7 mostly comprized of children whom we knew what they were ordering already. Poor hospitality from kitchen side, service side was great 👍 Our server was great! Many thanks to him that we stayed for dinner! It felt like he was the only one who appreciated our business.
We went there with friend and Bella is the server. She is very NICE AND KIND AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Well, I order Rip-eye steak with Medium rare. And u can see in the picture. It look yummy . But The fat at the rim wasn’t cook it was still raw and I didn’t mind it because it s just a little bit. And the meat is perfect well done. And i was eating around a half of steak. I saw another fat at the middle again. And I asked for Bella. If it s okay if you can sear again or heat in the microwave, i just want my fat be cooked and she went back to Kitchen and told that cant cook again only get the new order and I said it s okay. I m so disappointed! I understand that Meat can eat well done and juicy and u make at perfect medium rare Except FAT cant be eaten at a raw.
Got a gift card for my birthday so we went to this place. It was on Saturday night but no wait to sit. We got the table by the widow with a nice view. I was hoping to get oysters but they didn’t have it. We got ahi tuna poke and it was mediocre. Tuna cube over rice with some vinegar and edamame. And edamame had a funky tastes. It costed $18.95. The clam chowder was only a decent dish of our meals. I liked the salmon chunks in there. Then I got surf and turf (Filet Minion with Alaskan Sockeye). I ordered medium well but got the most burned and driest piece of fish and steak I ever ate. I didn’t know if they forgot or that was how they cooked medium well. It was so dry and burned and no favor whatsoever. My husband got ribeye, also medium well but it was slightly better than mine. Both dishes came with some steamed asparagus and baby potatoes. It looked so unappetizing. We had to ask for water and utensils couple times. We had lunches and dinners at this place before and it had never been this bad. The whole meal costed $170 including two drinks and definitely not worth it. I gave two stars for past experiences but zero star for the food this time.
My partner brought me here for a special birthday dinner. When she made reservations, she made a point to let them know that it was my birthday and then also when we arrived, and lastly letting the server know. After her letting three separate people know, no one still acknowledged my birthday. After ordering the food, it was well over 30 minutes and two separate waiters came over letting us know the food should be out shortly at least three times each and it was obvious that there was a problem with our food in the kitchen. Very very disappointed in the lack of customer service. The food and service were definitely not worth what the meal cost. We definitely will not go back.
Disappointing experience. We had reservations and still had to wait for a table because 4 tables weren't bussed. We got seated in the bar area, and told it would be the same service. It took 15 minutes for a server to come to the table, and we ordered water, beers, and dinner. We expected a bit of a wait (Saturday night and an upscale dining establishment), but it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. When it finally did, the steaks were not hot anymore. Cooked perfectly, yes, but not hot. The green beans had strings and ends not snipped off, which made them difficult to eat. And the salmon had great flavor at the front, but got progressively more salty as we ate. Maybe too much seasoning. We discussed coming back on a weeknight for a second try, but for $122 on 2 entrees and 2 beers we were exceptionally underwhelmed. I expected better, and frankly have had better portions at Outback.
My wife and I were in for lunch and shared several of the menu items. Loved the Parmesan truffle fries. My ahi tuna salad was okay, a little heavy on the dressing. We didn’t care for the flavor of the French onion soup. The smoked chicken and beet salad looked wonderful, and was a generous serving. We would have been very happy with it had the salad not been so overloaded with the vinaigrette dressing. We weren’t really able to enjoy the other ingredients because of the heavy dose of vinaigrette. Desert was a bit of a disappointment as well. We shared a generous serving of coconut cream pie, but wouldn’t order it again either. It had very little coconut flavor, and cream tasted like nothing more than whipped cream. With a tip, the bill for the two of us was $103.00. We will not return anytime soon.
Went on Valentines Day, had a reservation over a week in advance that I confirmed the night before. was left with no food for 2.5 hours. left never being served. Was getting ready to spend 200 plus. Our holiday was ruined. we drove from Portland To end up eating Chinese food at a bar all dressed up.
