Great coffee! My favorite drink is the Gingersnap. I love its rich and plentiful flavor, which still tastes great even after the ice melts. Their coffee is flavorful without being too strong, and the staff are absolutely amazing.

First time visiting a Philz to check out the hype, officially a fanboy! This joint is super dope, yummy solid espresso, I am addicted to the Dark Roast Jacob's Wonderbar blend, phenomenal flavor and tones.. I'd even go to say one of the best I've had for sure. I also really dig the comfy, quirky, unique and chilled vibes and tones of this chain, it's really comforting, welcoming and a rad jam. The service is kinda slow, but the service, taste and flavor are on point Note, they have both oat and almond milk alternatives at this location.

I stopped by this coffee shop with a friend on a weekday late afternoon. The place was quite busy, with many people working on their laptops or simply hanging out. We ordered a coffee and a tea , both were fine, nothing particularly special but perfectly decent. They also offer some café-style snacks, though we didn’t try any this time. Most of the tables were occupied, but we eventually found a spot to sit and relax. One good thing I noticed is that many of the tables have charging ports, which is really helpful if you plan to work there for a while. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s located on a main road. There are some public parking spots across the street, but finding one may take a little patience. The restroom was locked and meant for customers only, which is understandable. However, it wasn’t in the best condition. I know public restrooms can be hard to maintain, but many coffee shops do a better job keeping them cleaner. Overall, it’s a decent place to grab a drink, sit, and work for a bit.

A busy coffee spot in the bay. Their service is smooth but the wait time is long. Luckily it was less busy at noon. I’ve seen this place packed with people. Their service is amicable and I also like their customization for every drink. Their ambience is great and you will always see people working on their computers here. We got Mocha Tesora and sweet & Harmony (cinnamon flavor). Both were fresh brewed and tasted good. Though I went with full cream whole milk, I felt the coffee was a bit watery. Although the texture was not to my liking, I loved their fresh coffee flavor and it was refreshing. Overall a great experience an I look forward to tasting more of their drinks.

This is obviously a chain, so it has a very fast foodie vibe. What works for this particular branch is the location. It is located right in front of the Caltrain station. The interiors are very bare and industrial, but they have some art hanging from the local art school, and that is pretty cool. The cafe was quite busy whenever I visited, but almost everybody seem to be working. But then again, I was not surprised because the vibe of the cafe was a work and meeting kind of cafe. Like I wouldn’t come here to read my book. There is plenty of seating, but only some seats have power outlet, so you have to choose carefully where you want to set if you want to work for long hours. The coffee itself is pretty decent. You can specify the level of sweetness and creaminess, which is new for me, and I’ve never seen this before any other cafe. I tried the specialty rose coffee, which was pretty dang good. Overall, a nice place, if you just want to work in a cafe. There are some food options as well, but I honestly would skip it. There are plenty of nice food options, walking distance from the store.

I showed up after work with a crazy sugar craving, and fortunately there were two cinnamon rolls left. The woman in front of me got one of them, but I scored the other. It was surprisingly busy, with nearly all the seats filled and a line at the counter. I rarely see that at other coffee shops. I managed to squeeze in at a table and get some end-of-the-day laptop work done. The Wi-Fi was straightforward to get onto, and I was glad I had VPN from work. Next to me were a couple of tech bros talking about a big investment for their next start up. Since this is the valley, I can imagine there could be lots of network snoopers. But hey, the price of doing business at a busy public coffee shop…

There are many new menu that I haven’t seen other cafes. So it was a bit hard to order when I first came here. Staff were so nice and gave me their recommendations. I had Tesora which is good for a latte lover and Philtered Soul which is one of their signatures. I’d give 11/10 for friendly staff.

Giving it four stars because of price, I put the coffee is outstanding. The only thing is there’s no real drip coffee it’s all pour over that’s the high price, and I didn’t see any single origin on their menu, on these blinds and they don’t tell you what’s in it all of these flowery descriptive words. Being a coffee person I liked all the details and not be marketed to. That being said the coffee was still great although I had to wait a while for it.

I want to like this place since the coffee's usually pretty good but certain baristas can be pretty rude sometimes. Haven't had issues like this at other locations.

Talk about rude and slow service. Waited about 20 min for drip coffee. They never called my name until I walked to the counter. As I told the male barista with the blonde hair behind the counter my name, he said it’s these here with an attitude. The drinks were closer to him and I’m short, and unable to reach the drink and asked if he can push the drinks closer toward me. He behaved like I made his job 10x’s harder. I told him I would like lids, and he just threw the lids toward me. I will not be visiting this location again.
