Bistro 28 offers good food and amazing views, especially for lunch during a ski day or for golf outings. Recent chef changes have improved the menu, with attentive service being a highlight. Some find it a bit expensive for the portion sizes.

Great food good atmosphere, helpful staff
Best golf course in the state! Brett the woman also created an outstanding atmosphere for us to play in!
Been in the Fraser area for 10 years. Always go to Pole Creek and Bistro 28 for golf and food in the summer but never tried a winter dinner. Finally did and it was excellent (food and service). The pork tenderloin with ground mustard sauce and Shepard’s pie were some of the best we’ve ever had. Will definitely go again.
They recently got a new chef and the food is now great! There are more eclectic menu items (the fried green tomato and mozzarella salad is my favorite) as well as classic staples (the children’s Mac and cheese is amazing). The service continues to be attentive and personalized and of course the views are exceptional.
Casual eats are served at Bistro 28. The clientel at this golf course demand that the ingredients are fresh and that is what is served for the limited menu. We had lunch and the sandwiches were all made to order. One server and she kept busy. Nice views and wildlife all around. On the way in from the highway we stopped and watch a deer take a dump.
Our server had a great personality and was helpful to our dinning experience. The food was good too. Maybe a bit expensive for the portions, but it was about what I could expect. The appetizers were plentiful however, so splitting the app and one entrée with my spouse was a good plan. I'm sure the views were nice, but it being night time didn't help with that. Overall, a great experience in this part of the world.
Incredibly beautiful golf course and restaurant. Our server was Victoria, and she is absolutely wonderful- request her! Food was amazing and the fresh homemade desserts are incredible! Best restaurant in the area!
Great place to stop in to take a break during your ski day. The food is good, and the views are amazing! Plus if you can snag at dinner reservation at their full service side it's hard to beat.
Great service, came during the winter and the interior space felt cold and quiet, food was great.
More like 3.5 or 3.75. It's on a golf course. The view was nice and the patio was nice. The service was decent. The food was just okay. I ordered the pork belly taco on a corn tortilla. The corn tortilla was a weird texture and tasted funky. The pork belly was an unpleasant texture. It didn't seem to be prepared properly? I ended up getting a sausage and that was fine. The sweet potato fries were good.
Country Club restaurant open to the public. Great tasting 10oz Bison steak which we shared. Should have split a side salad, too. The veggies and potatoes that came with the steak were on the small side for splitting. Great cook and wait staff. Our waitress was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly.
We had a terrific dinner k at night!my burger was perfect rare , and beautiful side salad. Iam a foodie and the meal was superior to any in this area. Don't know if a new chef but was lovely evening
I'm really glad we found Bistro 28. There weren't a lot of reviews so it was a bit of a gamble but it paid off. The views are nice and the food is really good. The duck, bacon, and corn wontons are tasty and their burgers are good, too. For dessert we had their peach tres leches and it was fabulous. We'll be back for sure!
Decent dining option given the limited options in the area, however, I was not impressed with the food. The cauliflower tots were very good, though the sauce was a bit heavy, but that is where the good food ended. I ordered the special, which was lemon crusted halibut with rice and spring vegetables. The halibut was overcooked, so it was very dry; the flavor was okay. The side of vegetables was a few slices of zucchini and a couple of onion strands; less than a quarter cup. The rice was pretty decent. In the end, for the high price of the special, the meal was sub-par. I should have stuck with a salad, which my friend ordered, as they looked pretty good.
This place is alright. We got there at 7 and didn’t get served any bread until 7:45. We didn’t get our meal until about 8:20. When we did get the food, the cauliflower bites were cold, the sea bass was spoiled, and the tilapia sandwich we ordered was served with no toppings and a mountain of fries. The food that was good was just okay - nothing to call home about. If you’re spending all day golfing and need an easy place to go for food, I’d imagine this would hit the spot - but not worth going out of your way here for dinner.
Oh man, this place used to have the best food in the area. Actual entrees, specials. Now, just an overpriced golf course grill. Burger, overcooked. Grilled cheese, undercooked. Server shrugged.
Food was great, but waited about 45 minutes. Forgot our appetizer and got multiple orders wrong. Never got our rolls. Only saw waitress when we ordered our food and then when she brought it out. They were all hospitable, but too many apologies.
Staff was fine, but wow the food was unappetizing. NY strip was about as bland as I've ever had... Ended up finishing my daughter's grilled cheese instead. Wife's pot roast was ok, so bumped up to 2 starts. Still I'd skip it... Plenty of better eating establishments nearby.
Was here on a trip visiting family. The salmon was cold and not cooked through and the prime rib was literally all fat. A guy who introduced himself as the Sous Chef told us that was how the food was meant 6 be prepared and commented he thought we would be more at home Applebees. Will never return nor will our family.
