Fantastic food I'm very curious why this place doesn't have better reviews maybe they've changed since the negative reviews because I have almost nothing bad to say about this place. The liver and onion and steak bites were amazing

Great family owned place! They have daily specials from Mexican to American (like enchiladas,tacos,nachos or sandwiches,burgers,salads&dinners) they have what you looking for! My personal favorite is the Club sandwich, my better half loves the Chicken Fried Steak dinner.

This isn't just a place to eat, it's a gathering of families. Almost everyone that walked in was greeted by name. The very friendly waitress asked where we were from and what we like to eat! The menu is very diverse and I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted. The food was hot, fast and very affordable.

George's was a pleasant surprise. My breakfast was cooked 🍳 to perfection. The young waitress was kind and kept my coffee ☕ cup full. I will definitely stop there again!

Jevos ranchero is delicious and will fill you up. Cozy atmosphere, I think it's the only place in town, well worth the stop.

Good for a quick bite when passing thru Tahoka. The hamburgers were very good. The service was fast and friendly!! It's an older building, so it could use a facelift. Good little restaurant for Tahoka.

The last time I was here was several years ago with my Opa. I was happy to see that not much has changed in that time at all. It still smells the same, still looks the same, and the food is still just as quality. Quick service, friendly staff, and overall a great local place to grab a bite.

Great specials! Catfish Fridays, Hamburger Steak Mondays! Happy hour burgers were the best. I also love, the burger combo special and how they would add an egg upon my request.

Food was good waitresses is friendly and come and check on your regularly. The restaurant itself is run down is repairs are cleaning things are kind of dirty and dingy. And it's cash only no debit cards

Cheap food,good service.The wait staff is very friendly.The food is good.They have really good onion rings! If cigarette smoke bothers you, I suggest getting the food to go as it is a smoking restaurant.Not everyone smokes,though,so it just depends on when you go.

Could be an awesome place, the run down appearance makes you wonder about the property in its entirety, would say buyer beware being the outside looks in pretty bad condition, the inside is not too far off....could badly use an update!

Service was horrible, maybe they should have a policy if you have issues with someone leave it outside of work... I couldn't help mt waitresses boyfriend dumped her for me 9 years ago... Get over it and do your Job!

I’m not sure why they have French toast on the menu because they do not know how to make it. Everything else was pretty alright. Just not the French toast. And I was sad.

George’s Restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but despite the humble appearance the service is friendly and the food was good. They offer a wide selection of food from burgers to Tex-Mex. The salad I ordered to start was iceberg lettuce with cheese. Not fancy but healthier than fries. The bacon cheeseburger that followed was made fresh to order and really hit the spot. And it wasn’t swimming in grease like so many of the burger joints in Lubbock. I enjoyed my meal and thought the prices were reasonable. All in all a good experience.

Burgers looked alright but the place is cash only but steer clear of the Philly cheese sandwich felt like I was chewing into a beef jerky sandwich

Ibought s grilled chicken sandwich and the bun was so soggy i had to throw it away. When i called to ask how it was cooked the gril was hateful and hung up on me. We eat there often but that may change.

Smelled like soils rags. Floor was dirty.smells like Tables were cleaned with fabulouso. Dark and dingy place. Walls and glass looked dilapidated! Food wasn't very good

They will get your order wrong, you have to talk to them in a slow, baby tone and tell them every little thing if you want them to get it right. They will most likely not add something you wanted just cause you didn't say it the way they need to hear it. Like today, parents ordered two hamburgers, my mom said the other hamburger the same, with everything, they didn't even add the fries to my mom's other order tho.

Nobody told me that there is a separate area for nonsmokers and it didn't appear to be open anyway. The chips were bland, Salsa is store bought, enchilada sauce tastes more like mole sauce...... I got no straw for my water.... I left waitress a tip just because she was the only one working and was doing her best. I will never return

Service was awful.. It was not busy. But never checked on to see if we needed drinks refilled.. The waitress dropped off my salad as if it was a drive by drop off.. No smile.. Floor was filthy.. I will not return.. I love hole in the wall restaraunts.. But not this one.
