From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the absolute BEST service by Jovan, Sous Chef Fabio and the rest of the staff here. The food was absolutely delicious filled with perfect Italian flavors crafted to perfection. The service was flawless thanks to Jovan, who was warm, attentive, helpful and made us feel truly special. Both went above and beyond to make the evening perfect, and their hard work and hospitality turned a great meal into a night we’ll always remember.

My server, Chauncey was outstanding made great recommendations and was very attentive. The entire time I was there my food was very good. I had a lunch duo of the cold tomato soup and a chicken pesto Panini.

Stayed here in September and I’ve been craving their Fratelli Pizze ever since! I decided to leave them a review because not only was the food amazing but the bartenders at the bar were so kind. I wish I got their names! It was a lovely older lady and a young man. I just loved the sweet and spicy combination of the pizza!

From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The window view was a nice perk. Jovan is a terrific waiter and took exceptional care. The culinary team’s bite was a lovely treat. The baby kale salad was delicious and a very large serving. From there, the Romana Pizza was perfection, and I must say, the crust was the highlight. Could not pass up the Olive Oil cake, and it was light and lightly sweet, paired with the decaf cappuccino added the perfect balance. Will be back! Truly Amazing The environment at Che Vita is modern, upscale, casual, and relaxing. Che Vita's space is welcoming and warm, with an atmosphere that is both vibrant and comfortable, yet not overly formal. Our waitress, Mytran, is beyond amazing. Mytran and the server Erich are attentive, genuine, and helpful with both food and drink recommendations. Mytran and Erich really set the tone for us to have a wonderful evening. We started with the Antipasti Bread & Butter, accompanied by a delightful pair of house-made focaccia, grissini, herb-lemon butter, and chili oil. The bread was baked to perfection, with a crisp outer edge and a light, toasted center. Meanwhile, the butter and chili oil provided just the right balance of richness and flavor. While we were waiting for our main course, the chef surprised us with a crispy, Asian-inspired bite, similar to a wonton, finished with a tangy-sweet honey sauce. The honey, sourced from the local Greek consulate, gave the dish a unique and memorable touch. For our main course, we both had the Agnolotti Blue Crab, a dish that is rich and creamy, with savory crab in every bite. The lemon basil artisan ricotta, crispy parmesan, and Tampa citrus gremolata added layers of flavor and texture, making each bite incredible. Our meal concluded with two desserts recommended by Chef Raul. The Tiramisu Semifreddo, with espresso-martini-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, and the Cannolo, filled with Nutella and chocolate mousse, accented by pistachio butter crumb and Luxardo cherries. Both desserts were a testament to the chef's skill, being rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. Che Vita impressed us not only with vibrant, flavorful food but also with the warmth and authenticity of the staff who went out of their way to provide us with a wonderful evening and dinning experience. Jenn, the manager, stopped by to check in and was genuinely interested in ensuring we were having a wonderful experience and evening. Chef Raul visited several tables, including ours, to gather feedback and connect with the guests. Something I consider a mark of a true professional, and both who take great pride in their craft. We are immensely grateful to Mytran, Chef Raul, Erich, Jenn, Danny, and Jovan for their exceptional service, which made our evening truly memorable. Their warmth, authenticity, and dedication to their craft were evident throughout our dining experience. I stayed in the Hilton for work, and I had a fairly late night, so wandered down to the hotel restaurant for dinner. I was skeptical, as I am pretty hit or miss on enjoying hotel dinners, but Che Vita was a clear exception. From the moment I walked in, the experience was fantastic. Alex was a fantastic server, and we had a great conversation about the menu and what to order. I followed his recommendations and was very satisfied. I had the Acqua Pazza with Grouper as he suggested, and I was the perfect amount of food and tasted incredible. I almost asked for more bread to dip in the broth that was left over, but I saved room for the tiramisu, and I am so glad I did. Alex mentioned that it was the staff's favorite, and I can see why. The taste and texture was bar none some of the best that I've had. All in all a great experience, and I will be back the next time I stay here.

I had a great experience at Che Vita! The newest Italian concept from Chef James King, located in Downtown Tampa. The food is flavorful, and beautifully plated. My favorite was the appetizers and pizza. I loved dining in the wine room, great for private dinners. Customer service is wonderful and friendly! There is valet parking available. I’d recommend making a reservation in advance.

We decided to do a little getaway trip to Tampa and decided to stay at the Hilton hotel they mentioned that there was a restaurant so we figured we try it out and I must say hands down the most amazing pizza I have ever had. My fiance had gluten-free pasta which is very hard to find and I must say I quote it was the best pasta she's ever had... The service was phenomenal so friendly from the time we walked in and were greeted all the way to the servers it was just an amazing experience.Mytran was so wonderful and we now have our favorite spot to go eat while in Tampa thank you team you made our visit even more special

Jovan was so kind, knowledgeable, and professional. His welcome was very warm and he was able to help me pick the perfect drink. I’m very picky of my drinks so that’s a big deal! The Truffle fries were a delicious appetizer. Good taste great to us. Me and my husband will be sure to come here again and hope to see Jovan again!

Had such a fabulous dinner here on a Friday night. Victoria R. took the best care of us. We ordered three apps, five meals, a side, multiple cocktails, multiple desserts, and aperitives. The Cristo sandwich was good but lacked a side of potato’s or something, and the Shakshuka with roasted potato’s was the best. The extra potato’s on the Shakshuka portion was enough to share! Good to see quality bread options for both entrees.

Lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Although there were just a few customers in the restaurant, the service was confused and very slow. We had two people visit our table repeatedly, apologizing for the delay and trying to help us. Still, our wine didn't come for 20+ (maybe 30?) minutes. We shared some arancini and ordered the panzanella salad and a panino. The arancini were flavorful and had good texture inside and out. The panino was very salty and visually uninteresting (see pic). The panzanella salad was "deconstructed" (see pic.) The underripe tomatoes and pomegranate seeds were lacking real flavor. Cherry tomatoes might be a better year-round option. And some fresh herbs, please. The restaurant has a small sign. It was hard to find. It's in the bottom of the Hilton Hotel (see pic.)

Service was absolutely amazing. She was very nice and I apologize for not remembering her name but she was great. Super positive and knowledgeable of the food. But that’s where this starts to decline. The appetizer of the arancini was bland. I had the salumi e formaggi which was decent. But the main courses were so bland with zero flavor. Long story short me and my wife left and went to Charley’s for better food.
