McGreiveys is a fantastic spot! The bartender was charismatic and funny, adding to the fun atmosphere. I had the spinach artichoke chicken with rice and veggies, and the green beans were perfectly crispy and hot. The sauce for the chicken was delicious! They also had Genesee at a great price, and it’s just a short walk from the marina. Highly recommend!

My husband and I finally made it to McGreiveys. I haven’t been here in YEARS. we got here early. Like 3pm. I had a blueberry mule and my husband got a beer. We had the calamari (tender, crispy, delicious), black and blue burger (juicy and flavorful) and the corn flake chicken tenders (amazing!!!). Everything was as good as I remembered. Delicious food made fresh. I hardly got pictures bc my husband was hungry and ravenous.

McGreivey's is a hidden gem, my goodness, everything was fresh, divine, and mouth watering. Their kitchen cooks 90% of the food from scratch. I ate my dinner there around 3-4pm on a Saturday, dining room not busy, servers were very nice and down to Earth and don't check on you too often, as to let you enjoy your meal, they are good with the refills. I will definitely be going here more often, going forward. Outstanding. (Pictured is French onion soup, hearty, rich, crunchy topping, Perfect, 2nd sirloin steak salad with balsamic dressing, steak tasted fresh off the grill, all the flavors marry well in this salad, 3rd was the Irish soda bread bread pudding accompanied by vanilla ice cream and drizzle of caramel.... Safe to say I finished every last morsel)

New England Clam Chowder on special tonight was on point and the spinach salad with grilled shrimp, feta, sliced strawberries and almonds was amazing!

After a long hike and kayak situation today we got hungry!! The endless scroll though Google suggested this place. When I walked in I wasn't over the moon about the look however, it was clean and quiet for a nice lunch meal. Our server and bartender Ryan was excellent, checking on us frequently and suggesting sauces for dipping (your boy loves to dip). We started with legit calamari with the tentis (tentacles) like I love!! Sauteed after in spicy peppers and garlic it was delicious, great way to start the experience. I then had the classic burger with bacon and sauteed onions as well as the house cut fries, they were delicious. The second meal was the crispy eggplant sandwich served on a nice brioche roll!! Everything including the drinks were delicious, these service was great and I find myself wanting to hike just so I have an excuse to eat here! You won't be sorry.. a great spot with great food!! Great food and staff. They're open every day and they're open for lunch. Never had a bad meal. The menu is extensive and varied. Best French onion soup I've ever had. Highly recommend. The patio is lovely.

Went there for dinner...OMG, food was awesome, portions are huge! Wish I took the pictures before I started to eat. But it was soooo good. I had the pollo peppe.it was absolutely delicious. The wife had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes...loved it! Their sweet potato fries are the absolute best!! I will be back again and again!!!catfish cakes were phenomenal

As an Irish Pub, I expected pub food but it was much more. The menu does feature standard pub food but it also has some creative entree selections as well as daily specials presented to us by our waitress. It was a toss up whether to get one of the delectable specials or Death Wish Pork Chop from the reg. entree menu.(Death Wish is a name of a local coffee and in this case, used as part of the prep for the chop.) My final choice was a rigatoni special made with sausage, roasted eggplant, onions and peppers in a marinara sauce. Delish! Enough for me to take 1/2 home. The table of 8 also had complimentary baskets of Irish soda bread...crisp on the outside, soft on the in. Yum. Waitstaff was efficient and friendly. For a table of 8 our waitress had help serving our meals. Also, be aware, a larger table has the gratuity included. Prices are standard and on par with other fine dining area restaurants. Great outside seating area with high walls for privacy from the busy streets. It was a perfect late summer evening for dining outside. We all enjoyed the meal in the fresh air. I can't wait to try this for a future choice for Friday night date night.

This place is good from food to waitstaff!! EXCEPT for the young girl with braids behind the bar Saturday evening she was not only rude but got extremely political to us and interrupted our conversation saying some off color comments about what we were talking about which was none of her business No need for that - she needs to retrained in her people skills or leave the industry

Had my mother in laws funeral after lunch there on 10/28/2025. We had a lunch buffet there and couldn't take the leftovers after paying 700+ the guy taking care of everything was kinda rude and left a clothe for us to clean up food that the toddlers accidentally got on the floor. Also they knew there was a large party coming in and only had one staff member to take care of everything. Including there regular lunch crowd!!! Very unprofessional establishment.

My THANKSGIVING DINNER was HORRIBLE. A group of us came in and ordered the turkey dinner. I would have loved to have had a "slice" of turkey BUT instead I had pieces the size of my pinky nail. We all had an issue with the SALTY dressing and the pumpkin pie was inedible. OH and YES $42.00/ea. no charge for the cartilage pieces 🥴 the "chief?" felt generous last evening. Think twice before you waste your money!

I would like to start off by saying the food and the staff were both great. My family had paid for a buffet and started an open tab at the bar and the people on staff were excellent. Monday afternoon my family all came here as paid for and planned after we had just buried our dear brother, uncle and friend minutes prior to celebrate his life. Later in the event a man came into the room to which no one recognized with to-go containers helping themselves to some food. Someone in our group asked who this person was and rudely and abruptly he said he was “the owner”. I cannot fathom walking into a celebration of life gathering while it is still going on and taking food out of your customers portion as they had paid for it. We were not allowed to take any of the food that we had paid for home with us, however the owner of the establishment can come in and take food to go while a celebration of life is going on, all because they’re the owner? To not be able to wait until the event was over to then go and grab food is beyond me. I can confidently say the 30 plus people that were at that event will never ever enter McGreivey’s establishment ever again. We are all from the area, we will be telling every single person how disappointed and how arrogant of a person the owner of this restaurant is. You should be ashamed of yourself feeling so entitled to barge in and not even introduce yourself or even wait or ask for food that was paid for by your customers. We will be recommending every person to never go to this establishment again. I hope that was worth the arrogance “owner”.
