Minion Café

We stopped by for an afternoon snack around 2:30pm and got a table outside although the cafe was quite busy. - El Macho's Nachos: the nachos were good and crispy. The guacamole was generous portion and was tasty. - Chicken tenders: the coating was crispy and the meat was tender and well seasoned. Our favorite was the delicious ketchup! It tasted like homemade and we licked it all up!

Only flaw to this cafe is the fact that there is hardly any tables to sit. Considering how popular it is they should definitely add some tables they can fit in atleast 3 more. Food: El Machos nachos were quite tasty definitely a 8.5/10 Freedonia festival of Mac & cheese was 5/10 if you’re looking for a yummy creamy Mac and cheese this is definitely not worth it! If you like it dry and prefer to taste the noodle itself then go ahead. The chicken and bacon topping is good but the star of the show (the Mac and cheese) was not at all the best. Chicken tenders: yummy you can’t go wrong with tenders they were just a little cold but it’s okay. The taters were AMAZINGGG so potatoeyyy

Probably the only decent theme park food I’ve ever had. Grilled cheese is freshly made, took a while to make and quite a wait. Lovely and friendly staff!

Decent park food. The pulled pork sandwich was quite delicious but the fries are quite plain. The sauce that goes with them though is great and helps balance the taste. The service was slow and it wasn’t busy.

Great ramen and the felonious float was great! The dessert at this place looked great! I would say this place has something for everyone. One star less because I thought the ramen was salty, service was not that fast and seating was limited.

For park food it was decent. We got the pork grilled cheese, chicken bacon ranch Mac and cheese, unicorn cupcake, and the nachos. Everything was warm. The bread was hard, but edible. It had good flavor. Mac and cheese was actually pretty good and not dry would probably get this again. Nachos were well seasoned, just not a lot of topping. Unicorn cupcake was very good. Kind of confused at first how the lines worked and no one there was helpful and I was literally the only person in there and no one said a word. When I asked what to do the girl just pointed. 1 star for service 3 for food.

We ordered a grilled cheese with tomato soup and a banana pudding. Everything was so mid the fries were dry and the tomato soup was bad and small portioned. The banana pudding was almost inedible because of the artificial banana flavoring… grilled cheese was lowkey buss tho

The food at Universal is $4-6 more than Disney for less quality. The pork sandwich was pretty stellar over all. However t he bacon/jalapeño Mac and cheese was was very dry. I’d probably pack a a lunch for this park.

The food was good but pricey. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac n Cheese good but it could use a little more chicken. If you don't like ranch don't worry, you can barely taste it.

Food was extremely flavorless and dry. We couldn’t bring ourselves to finish the entrees (brisket sandwich and mac & cheese). The desserts were fine but nothing to write home about. Overall, none of this was worth the price. Seating is outside and very limited. You have to keep an eye out for families leaving in order to snag a table.

Worst food and bad service ever. I ordered El Macho Nachos, chicken tenders, and Stuart’s chicken roast. The worker, a young Mexican boy, gave me my food first even though another man was ahead of me. I noticed that my portions were significantly smaller than his. That’s likely why he wanted me to get the nachos first, so I wouldn’t notice right away. My nachos were completely flat, while the other customer’s were nicely layered and full. I believe this was racial discrimination. You can even look online to see how the food is supposed to look. After I told the man ahead of me that it was his since he had ordered first, he purposely said, “No, that’s yours.” I paid over $50 for food and service that was completely disappointing. It was my first time trying the Minion Cafe, and it will be my last because of this one employee.

Went on 4/3/25 and got the classic grilled cheese like I usually do and could not believe they were only serving them with cheddar. It’s supposed to come with white cheese as well I’ve had it many times before and to still charge 16.99 for 1 cheese is ridiculous. The cheddar cheese used tasted like Kraft cheese slices too. I could have made a better grilled cheese at home honestly. Won’t be eating at minion cafe anymore.
