The food was excellent. We ordered a gyro and a smoked-house brisket sandwich. Although they were out of roast beef, that turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it encouraged me to try the gyro, which I had never had here before. I’m glad I finally gave it a chance. The staff was also very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of.
Clean dining area, great customer service and the food was delicious! The best Arby’s I’ve ever eaten at! And the cookies are really good
I came here tonight after work. I noticed it was a little busy, but when this nice lady named Ayla took my order, she was the nicest I have ever met at fast food. Honestly, she needs to get a raise the best food in Van TX.
Gather ’round the drive-thru, friends, for a tale as tangy as horsey sauce and as mysterious as the name “Arby’s” itself. There I was, staring at the towering neon hat of delicious destiny. I pulled up, rolled down the window, and whispered, “Give me the meats.” They knew what I meant. A Beef ‘n Cheddar arrived like a greasy gift from the Roast Beef gods, its cheese sauce defying gravity and possibly FDA regulations. But let’s talk horsey sauce. Spicy. Mysterious. Probably made in a lab where condiments are dared to dream. I applied it liberally, because this isn’t amateur hour. One squirt too many and my sinuses were clearer than a sermon on Sunday. And then it hit me — Arby’s = RB’s = Roast Beef. My life flashed before my eyes in the shape of curly fries. The branding was never a mystery. It was a meat-aphor all along. So next time you’re craving a little mystery with your meat and a sauce that could double as a nasal decongestant, remember: Arby’s doesn’t just have the meats… they have your destiny. Wrapped in foil. With a side of au jus.
If it wasn't for the girl, Amy I believe is her name, I would have left because until she came back from using the restroom, I was ignored by the other 3 workers. Once she was there I was waited on, food was correct and out in a timely manner. I appreciate this young lady and the managers should be thankful to have her.
We come to this Arby’s a few times a week. Every single time there is an issue. Literally. A few days ago they were out of roast beef. Today they are out of more than half of the different fountain drinks. They are also out of medium lids. So they gave me a large but only filled it part way for what would “be a medium”. I’ve worked in fast food and gas stations. The COST difference is associated with the cost of cups and lids. The difference in cost regarding the actual liquid is soooo tiny. That’s what sent me over the edge. I also see a review that 4 weeks ago they were out of medium drinks. Like you’re already doing your customers a disservice by hassling them about your inventory issues. Many customers are locals, not just passerby’s from the freeway 🙃
When I pulled up I was the only person in the drive thru, I waited 30 mins AFTER I had ordered and paid. I watched 4 different people/families get their orders before me. If it weren’t for brunette/red haired young lady that came back before her whole break was over tonight, I probably would have waited well over 45 minutes. They also forgot one of my drinks so I had to go inside and get it and then I ordered beef and cheddars and there was NO CHEDDAR. This is the worst experience I have ever had at this location. Shout out to that girl, she was working her butt off to get the cluster cleaned up.
How do you NOT have curly fries, that’s a classic side for Arby’s 🤦♀️
I can Not in good conscience, ever recommend this fast food company. After eating at the Van, TX location (attached to the Love's gas station), a while back, within 4 hours I was violently ill and threw up everything. Graphic, but true. Clearly food poisoning. I told a colleague about this and she stated her and her husband had also eaten there and she also became sick very soon after. I would be very careful about eating there. Something is very wrong.
Im not a daily customer but when I go I order the exact same thing every time, and almost EVERYTIME my order is wrong, I am a cook, complete lack of customer satisfaction is infuriating, most of the time the food I sometimes receive is decently fresh, my French dip had very little meat compared to any other time and had very obviously been sitting already prepped for at least a hour. Also my food is never over 12 dollars, this time the exact same order was almost $20, save yourself the frustration and go LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE
i ordered 2 greek gyro They gave us stale bread it was not tasty
This has literally got to be the worst Arby's I've ever been to and I absolutely love Arby's every single time I come here there is no one in the Drive-Thru line yet it takes them 5 minutes to either take my order or complete my order and it's located inside a truck stop which just blows my mind... Today after waiting at the drive-thru order screen for more than 3 minutes and then having them tell me to please hold for another 2 minutes before I decided to just drive away and I don't plan on ever coming back to this one! Rediculous
I don't understand why this restaurant is still open even though it's located in a truck stop! They never have the full menu... They don't have the lids for the cups. There's no variety in their soda machine... WHY DON'T THEY PAY ATTENTION TO THESE DETAILS OR ELSE... CLOSE DOWN YOUR DECADENT BUSINESS... There are enough of us truck drivers who waste time stopping to buy something to eat... to find this???! 🙄
Dinner hours: They were out of ketchup, Arby’s sauce and the steak. Asked for sweet tea and there was none so I asked the girl to make more and her response was “we are busy” (it was us 4 and 1 other guy in the restaurant, she did say I could walk to the loves and get their tea that they had made. I assume it’s easier for the one employee on the store side to make tea than it was for a whole crew (sarcasm). Then while we were eating another guy came in and the greeting he got wasn’t a hello but instead “we can’t serve you for 25-35 minutes because we are doing shift change” WHO DOES THAT? WHY SHUT DOWN A WHOEL RESTAURANT FOR A SHIFT CHANGE??!? We drove over an hour specifically to this location. Not sure what’s going on night crew but looks like we will be driving another direction when we want Arby’s. Do better
At arbys they are out of medium cups And instead of giving you a large and charging for a medium they want to upcharge you... how much does that cost you to just give the customer a large cups for medium price loves arby's a nickel ?? So when I asked the manager she stated it's not her fault either so if they're gonna give me a large drink cup they're gonna charge me a large drink That's not taking care of the customer because it is your fault for not being properly stocked But you're more worried about you losing out than the customer losing out not what I wanted not what I ordered Not coming back So lose a customer for life I won't be coming back to this location ever again
I went in around 9pm to get my kids food. While waiting I saw an employee walk in with tape rapped around his shoe 👟 pretty sure against work ethics but that's not what really bothered me he didn't even wash his hands before beginning to serve our food and no one said anything. That's my biggest issue idk where he's been! He came from outside!
How do you run out of roast beef???? It's not rocket science people!!! You sell "ROAST BEEF" sandwiches. Are your employees and management team so inept that they can not keep it stocked?? Go back and look at the reviews at least once a month you have reviews that say the same thing.... "SORRY WE ARE OUT OF ROAST BEEF!!" And then the goober asks would you like to try our chicken??? Well that would be a no Skippy!!! If I wanted chicken I would have ordered chicken Get a grip people. I even ask the Loves Op. Manager how they are.always out. She has no idea either. Said she had had many complaints and brought it up in the managers meeting last week!!!! So this is 2 weeks in a row they have ran out. And then you want me to recommend a dish....... Ok I will!!! Go across the street to Carl's or Soulman's BBG.
