The Best Pho in Ventura County!!!! Super authentic! I ordered the chicken pho & the chicken was super fresh & tender. All the ingredients were fresh & blended very well together! I was in food heaven eating my pho!!! I also ordered the spring rolls & those were super yummy as well!!! I would definitely order both again! The waitress Faith was super nice, awesome, & rad! All the staff was friendly! This is going to be my go to place whenever I’m craving Pho!!!
Pho Gyu serves up some very delicious food, it’s a goto after visiting the area on the way home. Very cordial, the food is delicious the drinks are great in size. I had the rib pho, my daughter the pho guy 101. The broth is delicious, my daughter loved the crispy taro egg roll (I didn’t get one) I also ordered the spicy pork fried rice, very good! I had an iced coffee (delicious) she had a mango lemonade (delicious) The servers are always pleasant and professional. We will return. One must have an open mind of you expect traditional Pho like I do, my daughters as well. This is more of a pho fusion, nothing to avoid at all. I certainly recommend it, just don’t expect all the little goodies in your soup. Enjoy
Wide open and airy interior space with ample seating for groups of all sizes. The Wagyu beef pho was excellent. The broth was velvety and rich. The beef was succulent and tender, and the portion size was generous. The Wagyu beef vermicelli was also delicious.
The food here is consistently excellent, which is why I find myself returning at least three times a month. While the customer service could benefit from a touch more warmth, the quality and flavor of the dishes more than compensate. If you’re craving something comforting and delicious, this place delivers. And for an extra touch trust me ask for the bean sprouts steamed. You won’t regret it.
Few days later, we're ordering from Pho Gyu again! This time we got pho, house special and chicken vermicelli and beef galbi ribs! Really amazed with their pho packaging. Everything was great, we will eventually make our way to dine in one of these days! The name though 😅 . . . Got a promo on Postmates and decided to order delivery from this place. The vermicelli entrees sounded good so we picked the wagyu beef and spicy pork along with an app order of vegetarian egg roll. Packaging looked nice and just to be sure we don't ruin our dinner, we poured the entire container into the largest bowl we have and it was spilling over which means portions are huge! Both the wagyu beef and spicy pork were very tasty and flavorful, All the veggies, especially the herbs combined with pickled carrots plus the vinegary and sweet dressing just tied everything together nicely. Oddly, the egg rolls didn't taste good on their own so we cut them up to mix in the bowl which works great
Picked up food to go and it was the Best! The spicy pork Banh Mi was sooo delicious!💯💯 My wife enjoyed her Chicken Pho had generous about of chicken. Spring rolls hit the spot and my Wagyu Beef Pho was delicious. I highly recommend this spot for your Pho fix and if you want a delicious Banh Mi you gotta try the spicy pork one.

We’ve done dine in and take out from here. The service is okay. The waygu beef pho and spring rolls are great! Highly recommend. I’d like to try something else next time but I can’t get over how delicious the waygu beef pho is. The broth is quite amazing with an aroma that wafts out to the street.
Unbelievably delicious pho and spicy pork fried rice here, staff were very friendly and attentive. Spacious seating, very clean restaurant. Best spot for pho in Ventura. I wish they had hot sake 😁 10/10 outstanding.
Have never been disappointed with the food here. Service can be a bit slow, but to be honest it’s hard to complain about that. Order takeout online if you don’t wanna wait. They are always super busy, and for good reason. Food is incredible and everyone is friendly. Tastes even better when it’s cold outside!
The rib pho is absolutely amazing. Nice clean and aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Great service. Delicious food. Everything you could want in a restaurant.
This is by far my favorite restaurant! No other pho place I’ve been to, ever, has topped this one. The staff is attentive and the facility is clean. Would recommend any time!

Food is amazing. Sometimes they are a bit slow but it’s understandable since it can get very busy. Service is dry sometimes rushed And it’s always freezing inside. Bring a jacket.
I visited this Vietnamese restaurant to try some pho, and it didn’t disappoint. Located in the Ventura Gateway Plaza, the restaurant has ample parking, which is a big plus. The ambiance is nice with decent seating, though it was quite busy when we arrived, and we had a short wait before being seated. The staff were friendly and attentive, despite the rush. For appetizers, we ordered the Taro Egg Rolls, which were crispy and flavorful. For our mains, we had the Chicken Pho and the House Special Spicy Pho with brisket. Although the food took a little longer to arrive due to the busy evening, it was worth the wait. The Chicken Pho was light and flavorful, and the Spicy Pho stood out with its rich, flavorful broth and tender meat. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for the price. If you’re in the area and craving pho, this place is definitely worth a visit.
We were in Ventura and wanted Pho, so we looked it up and found this place close to us the staff was great the pho was great I highly recommend their wagyu pho we ordered one of each wings and they were GREAT!! Just wished they were meaty the shrimp roll needed a bit help their was something missing and my sons broken plate needed more fryed but overall would come back if in the area
Solid pho restaurant. Not a lot of choices, but when you have a hankering for pho and don't want to drive 25-30 minutes, it's nice to have a pho place in Ventura. We enjoyed the Wings of Hell which were sweet and hot, but not as spicy as the name implies. Ordered the 101 pho as well as the spicy house special pho. Both broths were excellent. Meat was okay. The condiment plate was good. Nearby table ordered bun dish, and it looked good. Seemed to have equal veggies to meat and rice. Servings of everything are large enough to share. Saw several groups sharing entrees which the staff was happy to help facilitate. Restaurant (including restrooms) was spotless. Genderless restrooms.

This place came recommended by my mother-in-law, and overall it was pretty good. I was recovering from a cold and really wanted something warm like soup to help me feel better. I came with my boyfriend, and we started with the Wings of Hell. I definitely didn’t expect them to be that hot, but they had great flavor and were extra wet—just how I like them. That said, I could only handle two wings since the spice level was easily a 9/10 for me. My boyfriend, on the other hand, wasn’t bothered by the heat at all. For my main dish, I ordered the house special spicy pho. It was good, but I felt it was a bit bland. I’m pretty picky when it comes to pho, so it just wasn’t something I loved. My boyfriend ordered the spicy miso wagyu pho, and that one I really enjoyed. The flavor was great, the spice was noticeable but tolerable, and the wagyu was extremely flavorful. If I came back, I’d definitely order what he had. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, with good music playing, making it a nice spot for a date or even to enjoy some sake with friends. As for the service, it could definitely be better. We found ourselves constantly trying to get someone’s attention, and no one really checked on us, which is something we usually appreciate. Would I come back? Maybe—but I do feel like I’ve had better.
I will start out by mentioning that the food is very good. But there are a lot of things they need to fix. Service is terrible. You never know when you'll get your food because you don't know what they are prioritizing. Sometimes it's the to go and online orders sometimes it's the in restaurant. You should never have to wait an hour when you got 3 guys in the kitchen. They have a limited menu and it still takes them forever if there's more than 10 people inside. My waitress actually ran home when I asked for the check. There was no one to replace her other than the manager so I just had to go up and pay like old days at Asian restaurants. If they fix their staffing issues this would be a great place to eat.

This is my favorite pho spot and their food is absolutely delicious.. however it seems everytime I come back the service just gets worse and worse. Wait staff is all over the place, short staffed during busy times and waiting up to 30+ minutes for your meal and seeing other people who ordered after you get served first is annoying. I think I prefer taking out vs dining in since they seem to prioritise take out orders over the customers within the restaurant. Just overall insane, because they charge you for sauces??? lol. Anyway yeah it’s just like a hit or miss lately when it comes to service. Sucks because food is amazing I just wish they had more staff.. also, no napkins? And trying to flag a waiter down is near impossible. I asked for to go since I had to go back to work and ten minutes passed and I had to physically get up and ask for a to go container because my waitress had forgotten. Just disappointing everytime

The food here is phenomenal. My son and I love the pho. The reason for the low score is I ordered through a delivery app for pick up drove all the way home to Oxnard opened the bag and there were no been sprouts, jalapeños, lime and basil packs or utensils. The lid of my soup was not seated all the way and it spilled, luckily they place it in a plastic bag to catch any spill. It was very disappointing because I love the bean sprouts and it makes the soup delicious. I’ve ordered delivery through the same app and have not had any problems with missing items. We will be going back just not ordering for pickup.

Staff lectured me when I asked for water Waitress asked for drinks and my party just wanted water and ordered our food. After maybe 10-15 minutes, the waitress forgot out water so I asked if I could get some. The staffed raised her tone and lectured me that I have to wait for my order since there are orders ahead of me and it's very busy and my order will come when its my turn! For water?? She said sorry and thought I asked for my food. She was very rude to not listen and assume what I was asking and just lashed at me. Even if a customer asks for the food, she can just give an estimate of when the food will come. She does not need to lecture how ordering and queue works like I was straight up stupid. There were empty tables and a lot of staff was just standing there so there was no reason to act busy and lash out on your customer. The pho was decent for the price. It was really hot, which was good and bad. You have to wait a bit, but the broth won't be cold when you're halfway done.

It was busy, so the waitress offered for my friend and I to sit at the high tables with other random customers. We accepted, but after getting drinks, a waitress told everyone at our table to move so they could seat other people in our spots. After moving and getting our food, I asked about our missing appetizers, and the waitress said we didn't order any and walked away. When we asked for the check, the appetizers were still on the bill.
I came in at 3:38 PM and ordered right away, excited to try this place for the first time. Within 10 minutes, the regret started. My table of three didn’t receive our food until 4:23 PM. At that point, we were ready to walk out. When the food finally came, it was another disappointment—no condiments, no drinks, nothing. Easily some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. When I went to pay, I explained how frustrated I was. The only excuse I got was, “Sorry, we’re busy,” yet other tables were being served with no issue. Never coming back. I’ll forever say Pho You to this restaurant.
