One of the best Whataburgers I've had. I'm not sure what they do differently, but it's done right! They do get busy at certain times, so you may end up waiting a couple extra minutes for your food, but it's worth it if you want a good Whataburger.

I was very impressed with this location. They explained why they could not mix 2 flavors of milkshakes,so that was fine. Then the computer had problems, so the order taker walked out to my car without holding up the line and confirmed my order from memory and got it correct. And they were still fast and friendly.

I used to rate them a 1 because they took forever, and the food was meh. However, I recently had an issue with the online system sending my order to the wrong store, and the GM Robert and his staff went above and beyond to help fix the issue, and the food was perfect. I no longer live in Texas but every time I come home to visit I stop at this Whataburger, the same one I've been coming to for 15 years. I wanted to write a review to let the owners/manager know that their employee Christian was awesome today (12/31/24 12:44 PM). He was working the dining area and I watched him hustle the lunch shift for about 45 minutes. He apologized for the slight wait and was very friendly and you just got this vibe that he cared about your experience eating there. Always moving with a purpose and attentive. The food was good and the dining area was clean as always. I'll be back next year. Take care of Christian, he's a good worker to keep around.

I’ve been here more than I’d like to admit but I’ve gotta give these guys props finally. I’ve ordered through the app for every order I’ve made here and only one time has something not been in my order and it was just honey mustard. They get the order right every time. The food is always hot. The young people they got working here are great. Not often do you come across young food industry workers that genuinely care about their customers. Last night I went through around midnight and had to wait in the drive thru to get the order. Well the person 2 cars in front of me ordered something that took a very long time to get out so by the time I got to the window, my onion rings were cold. Well the guy at the window apologized profusely and went ahead and gave me fresh onion rings. What really surprised me was he already had them dropped and coming out of the fryer when I got to the window so I didn’t have to wait more than 30 seconds. Thank you guy at the window last night. I definitely appreciate you and everyone else that works there.

Walk in most times you here coworkers big busy help ones that need help nobody standing around,but if slow you got couple wrkn grill and drive thru. Then u got. Management. In office. Handling shop concerns while stayn in contact w fryer front counter person who upon seeing your ther instantly snatches a smile and acknowledges your present if more than two in line they. Tap office door vin seconds u have management coordinating front counters needs w grills most times the manager or team leader keeping staff where their strongest their fiun all legwork quickly in 3-5 minutes depending on if I got a special item I'm brightly greeted again w my order and told ty please come back we appreciate ur business I was very. I must say the employee customer service is amazing!!! That is the ONLY reason I go to this location. However, the amount of time it takes to order/get my food every time I eat here is RIDICULOUS.. I’ve been going to this location for 5 years now and always prepare myself to wait at least 25-30 minutes no matter the time of day to get my food. Not to mention, it’s always from the drive thru. I’m not sure if it’s due to staff shortage or what, but it would be great if you all could get that one issue resolved.

This might just be the last of the good Whataburger locations left. The food was hot and fresh but the burger just doesn't have much flavor anymore. Whataburger is definitely not the same as what they used to be. This location is by far the best one I've eaten at in a long, long time. I recommend and I'll be back.

I went up there at around 9 am a few days ago, and there was a younger girl working front counter and something in the back. she seemed stressed already, but was so polite to the customers, including me. this visit made me a little sad though, seeing as to how she was treated by an older employee. The front counter employee was Vaelynne but i didnt get the name of the coworker. she was a taller african american woman and she just had the nastiest attitude towards this little girl, and the customers for the most part. when it was my turn to order, i apologized on the other employees part, and told vaelynne she should be treated better. She let out a sigh, and thanked me but looked really tired, and even sad and that just broke my heart, but she took my order with the same smile and positive attitude! its great seeing younger people working for more than a paycheck while multiple other employees that could be helping her were messing around in the back having a blast meanwhike she was stressed and being treated poorly. do better on checking on your employees, and how theyre being treated by customers and coworkers alike!

We waited in line for 30min for our food, but its Whataburger its always busy. Anyway costumer service is great! One of the employees accidentally gave another customer our order so the drive threw worker told us we will get milkshakes on the house! Other than that I was satisfied with my meal. Great as always! Good size for being attached to a gas station. Wheelchair ♿️ friendly. High chairs for the babies. Full menu available. I didn't give 5 stars because they got my order wrong. We were so hungry I just ate what they gave me. Very friendly staff.

The order is always right, and always fresh, but if you go through the drive-through, it seems to take forever. This may be due to short staff? But it has made me choose other options when going high traffic hours. Don't get me wrong Waterburger has the best quality food around being fast food options in the area. Usually a better option to go inside and order.

The service here cant be beat as far as very friendly staff and they always have that hometown attitude where they remember your name and ask-about-your-family familiarity. HOWEVER, count on a LONG wait in the drive through - the kind of long wait where you turn your engine off while you wait. But the food is ALWAYS hot, the order is always right, and the friendliness of the staff make it all worthwhile, I promise! Some outdoor picnic tables, but since it's in a gas station, the constant flow of convenience store customers, it isn't really a great place to eat outside unless you are on lunch hour or otherwise extremely limited on time.

We don’t have Whataburger where I’m from, but my brother would not stop telling us to try it. And it’s not bad. The burger honestly tasted pretty fresh. Better than McDonald’s I’d say. It was funny to me that the fries are exactly the same as McDonald’s. Very yummy. Yeah if you haven’t ever tried Whataburger because you don’t have one near you, I think it’s worth it if you were already trying to decide between fast food places. It was $18 for a meal and a sandwich, the fries and drink were plenty to share since we could get a refill on soda.

Don't get me wrong. I love Whataburger and the food tastes excellent but this particular Whataburger has yet to get an order that I've placed there right since I moved to Venus over a year ago. The staff are friendly enough and usually fix the order when I pull around, bring it back into the store and explain what's wrong. I don't see how ordering a burger with cheese and bacon, plain and dry for my son is such a difficult matter. Just put the meat and cheese only. Leave off the lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and mustard. It's fairly simple. Once I ordered a burger for myself and got one with no bun. I didn't order it that way. Have gotten fries when I order onion rings. Even got home once and an entire sandwich was missing from the order. I mean, come on. A little quality control would go a long way.

I would like to point out a cashiers struggle but still giving great service. Tonight I took my wife and kids through the drive thru. We ordered 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich. Cashier- Makenzie H. Took our order, repeated the order and was multitasking a few other things. I noticed she was attending both windows as the manager was mozying around sweeping with little to no regard for us waiting at the window for around 7 to 8 minutes. We waited for our drinks but no one was nearby to assist this young lady. I understand the struggle for cashiers, cooks and all staff but as a manager the staff should not be setting the example. Basically every time I pay to add something to my burger, it comes out of the window as just a regular burger. This time, however, it was enough for me to come on here and post a review because if I’m buying an avocado bacon burger, I want it to have avocado. They were pretty quick, but I love Whataburger and this place was not up to the usual standards. It was food and we were hungry, but it just wasn't that good. When I mentioned it to my husband, he actually said, "Oh yeah, that's the bad one. You should have gone to the other one a few miles down the road." Hope that helps when you're deciding!

This location is a complete failure and disgrace to the company. The staff are incompetent and slow ,they argue with customers on a regular basis,the order is ALWAYS wrong ...always. Inside dinning is empty and yet they can't manage the drive thru customers efficiently, everyone is told to park in lot and then you wait for 30 to 50 mins on average for a simple order, by the time it arrives sloth slowly walked to your car ,it's cold and thrown together in a big mess ,,,just close this location down its worthless.

The fries were soggy, unsalted and somewhat warm if that. The service took FOREVER and I was the only one in the drive through and the inside wasn't busy either because I had to go back in and get the sauce they forgot. The chicken strips are TINY about pinky length. Terrible experience Definitely won't be back.

I am hoping they were training a newbie, and I was patient for how long it took for the drive thru today. I ordered my food and sat in line for almost 20 minutes. When I got to the window, they had no clue what I ordered, and when they asked again for the 3rd time, they only gave me a drink and closed the window. I waited, thinking they realized I was waiting on my food, and the lady at the window opened it back up and asked if I needed anything else, yes, my food. They asked once again what I ordered and gave me a bag with it, I got a whole 5 small onion rings, which is why I go to Whataburger, my burger was good but the timing and service was subpar today. Let's get it together, guys.

Went by this morning for breakfast. Ordered 2 sausage egg cheese burritos. Parked out front to eat, Good thing I did cause 2 bites in I noticed there is no cheese! No big deal, I take them my bag of food and say these were supposed to have cheese. What I didn't expect for them to add cold slices of cheese to a half eaten burrito and hand it back to me.. very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I gave them 2 star because I got food in timely manner and it was a decent size burrito. They did not skimp which I appreciate. But to top it off as I'm eating cold cheese I find a hair in the burrito. Definitely ruined my appetite and couldn't finish my food! I cannot make this up so I took some photos to show what I went through this morning.

I've gone to this location several times hoping that the last time was just a one off experience. Each visit I'm reminded why I don't go to Whataburger that often anymore. I stopped ordering the combos several visits ago because despite the fact I live roughly a mile away from this location the fries are cold and stale every time. I honestly don't think I've ever had truly hot and fresh food from this location. But the final straw for me was I ordered my food tonight and get home only to find for the 3rd visit in a row I did not get all of the food I was charged for. The last time I called back and asked if they can refund the portion that was left out and unfortunately my only option is drive back to the store and either get what was left out, get my refund in person or just deal with the fact I paid for food I did not receive. This is truly frustrating and unfortunately the last straw for me. I truly hope that someone at their corporate office sees this review and goes and audits this locations management team because at this point it feels pretty obvious they just don't care to train or hold their staff accountable.

Ordered inside to go and basically arguing with the little girl taking my order on how I wanted "my" food. Got my order, fries littler thrown in the bag upside down, burger 1/2 wrapped. Go to eat it and it had grease dripping out everywhere. Ended throwing it away. Nasty!!!

Waited over 30 minutes for a watered down sprite, cold soggy undercooked fries, and a cold dry burger that’s missing onions. Owners you need to do better like get your business together. This is has happened the past 3 visits which is why I resort to reviews. For now on if I wait longer than 15 min I’m just pulling out of the line and going to get a $5 Taco Bell box. Y’all’s food these days are on the same quality and should be valued as such until you can actually get it together and do better. Like it’s simply not good enough anymore.

Just ordered in the drive thru, pulled up to the window and saw our order. After 15 minutes I walked in to ask if anyone was working the window and the MANAGER if you want to call her that said they were working on it but she had a line. Excuse me, you have two cars in the drive thru who have already ordeted. Shouldn't you give them their food before taking the order from one guy who walked in?!

Twice we’ve gone through drive through and the person taking the order does not get the order correct. Tonight we had a free Whatameal #1 and when we presented the app to scan the person ringing our order still charged us for the complete meal… I ask for Large Chocolate shake and large fries with Whatameal #2 Double Meat Burger Got a small fries and they are cold! Management needs to train their personnel better… Customer Service training is a must!!!

This is the worst burger place in Texas. 25 to 30 minute wait for one combo. No customizations and nothing special and still a 30 minute wait. Every single time I come it is the worst weight ever. Management needs to get a hold of this place. Cold food, cold fries.

We called ahead to make sure they were open, during ice days. They said yes. We drove 20 minutes only to see manager locking door as we got there. As I was at front door, he unlocked door to ask me what the issue was. When I told him that we had called ahead, he only said were closed and went back inside. Poor customer service. Would not recommend. We will go to another Whataburger location in the future.

I have been in the food industry for 18 years, and know the importance of getting a to go order right. Nothing worse than getting home after a long day to realize part of your order is missing. I ordered chicken bites with gravy for the dipping sauce. I get home to first realize they gave me no straw for my drink and no napkins, not a big deal since I came straight home, it could have been an inconvenience if I didn't. Then I realize they forgot my gravy, so now I must eat my chicken dry. First chance I get to eat all day, and it's not as I wanted.

Poor service. Girl at the window was rude taking our order, was rude while handing us our food. My tea was warm and gritty, like the sugar hadn't melted all the way. When I asked the girl for a replacement she was rude. Do not recommend going here!

I seriously do not understand how hard it is to have an order ready, 3 times now I have ordered curbside delivery and 3 times now I had to wait for my order to be ready! I do curbside delivery because supposedly it’s quicker to grab your meal n enjoy it on your lunch break but I never have time to fully eat my lunch! Do better people!!!

Went here last night and ordered breakfast meal The guy at the window takes my money wearing the greasiest nasty gloves and I watch him taking money at the counter Picking up trash and wiping the counters still wearing these gloves. Then he goes to the fryer and picks up my hash browns with his hands to put them into the container instead of using the things made for picking people's food up with Now I understand why the gloves were so filthy He tried giving this good to me and when I called him out for picking my food up w his hands and the disgusting gloves he tells me this is how we do it here. I got my money back and won't be coming back to this place if that's how they handle food that we're going there and paying to eat expecting proper and safe handling of food

This whataburger is always the worst one to go to the experience is horrible! Whether you order inside, drive thru or on the app they will take forever and still most likely mess everything up. Today I was forced to wait 20 mins for a curbside pickup even though I ordered well in advance. This is ridiculous!!

Ordered my food from the drive through, it took longer then expected no big deal but I asked if they put gravy he took the bag back in side for about a minute when tyler handed me my bag back he apologized and I went home less than five minutes away I open my dinner and the fries were cold and stale the gravy container had barely any gravy but the gravy looks like it was scraped off the wall in the container it sat in. we ended up calling to have it replaced and they hung up after we told them the issue. Oh and they forgot the fruit snacks

Thought about posting a few times, today did it. Online ordered, said it'd be ready at 7:02, ordered at 6:53. I get there, and find their curbside spots were moved. Turns out (because of the busy gas station) they were blocked by a patron with a large horse trailer at the time. I called the store and they said turn your hazards on and we'll find you. Cool. Fast forward to 7:24 I go inside and ask if my food is ready as I've been sitting in the truck with the hazards on. Manager says, "oh that's the one we tried three times to find." Great, thanks. At this point I just take my now room temperature burger and leave. Turns out not only did all that happen, but the order is wrong too. What's the point of online ordering if it's neither correct or convenient? At least my drink was right (because I made it when I went inside).

If you're looking for a hot meal exactly as you order! DO NOT GO HERE. you will get a sausage breakfast on a bun with half of a biscuit and top half of a bun. It's even better when a different time. they lose your mobile order and make you wait an hour while making you handwrite your own order.

I would never recommend to go to this water burger. And that's you wanna wait 45 minutes to an hour? For your food there was only me and one other person in there at 5:30 in the morning and it took him 45 minutes to make my food. This is the worst waterburger. I have ever been to and never will be going back. Don't waste your money. There are a lot of better places to eat than. Stupid water burger

Very disappointed in the service. I ordered at the drive through and sat for 12 minutes behind another car. Rather than ask the car to pull around out of the drive through they just had us all wait. I realize things happen, and not all drive throughs exercise the policy of keeping the line moving, so while irritated, I was still patient. I lost my patience with them , however when I pulled up to the window and was completely ignored by the staff. Completely! I waited a full 90 seconds, while they continued to ignore me although they were right at the window portions of the time. I mean, not even eye-contact or hand signs. I left without any greeting, and without my order. Sadly, we generally get pretty good service here. The food has always been good. Just beware if you go later in the evening, and use the drive-through. It seems they may not be well trained and equipped to manage it.

Slowest service I’ve ever had. I ordered my food in the drive thru at 10:40a and didn’t get it until 11:15a. Absolutely unacceptable. You’d be better off driving to Alvarado or Midlothian for Whataburger and still get home quicker than if you’d gone to Venus. The people would be nicer to you at either of those locations as well.

This location is THE WORST representation of whataburger in all of Texas. Whataburger should be ashamed to have their sign on top of this building. 7 people working, 5 of them just standing around, 40 cars lined up in the drive thru, 15 people standing in the lobby. I've seen 4 people come in and ask for their food because their vehicle is overheating. Manager said it's not ready yet they been in drive thru for 45 minutes. I've been waiting around now for 45 minutes and the clock is still ticking. I knew I should have just went to Kumar's store. Im sick of hearing the manager say sorry and not do nothing to fix the issue. The issue is nobody is doing anything to speed the process up, 1 burger patty on the grill and 5 minutes later he puts another one.

We got the new BLT combo. It cost almost $20 for medium. Absolute rip off..this was more then a burger. It maybe had 2 slices of bacon on it. For $20 I am so disappointed..

Went to this drive through about dinner time and we were waiting and waiting and waiting about 8 or 9 minutes at the drive-through window because they never came to the speaker when somebody finally came to the window he did not apologize for the wait and didn't say anything at all actually. He asked if we could drive around to the speakers to place our order. They were very rude very inconsiderate and overall I would give them zero Stars if I could but I'm required to give them at least one. We went down the road to the next Whataburger almost elected not to eat at Whataburger at all. Do not eat here this service is very very bad even the management

I ordered a number 12 had a flat on the way home and I couldn’t return to get my order fixed. I asked for only chicken cheese lettuce and onion and got mayo tomatoes and pickles on my sandwich. Cold stale fries, it’s disgusting that they sell food like this. Not to mention my sd of ranch had a hole in it as if we’re poked with something prior. Gotta be the worse whataburger in texas hands down. Called to let them know and the older guy on the phone tells me to bring it back and he would remake it….the whole point of going thru the drive thru to get fast food is to not have to come back . Ppl who can’t read a grill ticket and cashiers who can’t take orders properly don’t need to be in the business. So frustrating and disgusting.

I placed an order for curbside pickup and had to go inside to get my order after waiting about 25 mins. I asked for a remake because it was ice cold. I got a whataburger and asked for the bun to be toasted on both side, add bacon and cheese. They didn't remake it, they just threw the sloppy burger on the grill, wrapped it in the same wrapper, and bagged it. This is what I got. I promise that I won't spend another dime in that place. Staff shortage doesn't mean subpar service.

I go there pretty regularly due to not many options available that early and on my route to work. Service is good awful! You will fall asleep waiting for someone just to take your order or even acknowledge you are there! Takes forever to get the food as well. On average 20 minutes!!!! Half the time the order is not correct. If you have other options for the love of God take them.

Absolutely disgusting. the girl in the back threw out food around. The fries were stale and gross from sitting. My order was made incorrectly so they gave me the same sandwich back, slapped raw cheese on it and threw it in the bag, didn’t even fold the wrapper.

Literally asked for a patty melt but somehow get a chicken sandwich instead. I Literally told the cashier in person I ordered a patty melt and she doesn't question it. But someway, somehow I get a chicken sandwich. Im sure patty melt and chicken sandwich dont sound the same but I dont know. This whataburger has gotten shittier and shittier each year.

Placed an order via the app for curbside, after 15 minutes of waiting I went inside to inquire about the order. Order was handed to me, I double checked the food and it was incorrect. They offered to remake it...which I was fine with. Until one of the employees made a comment about getting my order right...with me next to him. Manager did absolutely nothing. Another employee was very apologetic and tried to correct the issue

I've never had a bad experience that wasn't handle, quickly and professionally. However, there's a new lady who I've not seen up there long. I believe it's Takiesha? She was so terribly rude. I will not be returning to this area until she's no longer there. I'm not the first or last person who has had issues with her. She needs to learn people skills! She was aggressive, hostile, and her attitude was completely disgusting.

MCDONALDS workers have MORE hospitality than in this Whataburger. Even if you order ahead online you WILL wait 40+ minutes when you get there for it to be cold &’ MISSING items you bought. No really sonic right across the street or many local home made mexican Italian places right off the same street. Save your money and time.

I live 3 minutes from this place. And i wait a few months between orders. Stupidly every time thinking itll be different. Its been 2 years. And quite frankly dont order here unless you have plenty of time to kill. If you go in person, even when its slow itll take 30 minutes to get your food. If you order ahead and wait 20 to 30 minutes to pick it up. You'll still wait 15 minutes when you get here. I once ordered a thing of fries and a milkshake as i left work, in ft worth, and thought id pick it up as i got home. I still waited 15 minutes and my fries were cold. I'm not a picky person i said nothing and ate my cold fries. I once waited for my food and watched as the workers argued and fought, one kid, walked out with someones order , tripped dropped the order including a box of onion rings that went flying across the carpet by the drinks pick them up and put them back in the box. The manager was behind him, also watching. Saying nothing. Then he saw me watching, the manager did, and suddenly told him he couldnt do that and needed a replacement thing of onion rings. He then walked over to me and started asking me probing questions to see if i was upset or not. This was several months ago admittedly. But still i fool myself into going back thinking it'll be different. It.never.is. again 2 years, so now i just order from midlothian, by the time im there my food is ready (how reasonable) and i drive home with it. Uneventful, and my fries are hot and fresh. I dont like to be that person, but ive held off on reviewing for a long time because i hoped yall would get it together. Its just fast food though, its not that serious. I'm just being honest
