Tacos Los Jacona

Best tacos I've had anywhere in Monterey county/Santa Cruz County. The salsas are fire and they have frijoles de la olla which is a plus. Take it from a person who's from baja California where we have Tijuana style tacos these tacos ara a must if you're in the area.

This is my go-to taco truck when in Watsonville. Food is amazing, parking is occasionally right.

I tried their tacos, specifically the Pastor, Carne Asada and Chorizo. While all of them were delicious, the Pastor was Muwhaa (chef’s kiss). Definitely will be returning!

The fruit waters are the best! And the tacos are awesome!! So original mexican flavors!! Don’t miss the Quesabirrias or mulitos!!

Their lengua is delicious! This is the place to go if you like your tacos made with greasy corn tortillas. Yum!

Delicious tacos and salsas they never dissapoint with the tripa tacos. It's on a main street,so a very convinient lovation.we usually don't struggle for parking and they serve you pretty fast

The tacos are very good Jacona tacos has been around for a while in Watsonville it's one of the top taco trucks maybe the best tacos. The fruit waters are also good 🙂

I started coming here when they were 1 truck they were fixing up, when it wasn't heating consistent, and when the son was so young he looked like a baby. Then, the Carne asada was delicious, now, its still the same. glad to see they have grown and kept the high quality.

So when I got to Popeyes I checked out the reviews and saw the menu and I was interested so I went back and noticed the restaurant has a food truck parked outside of the restaurant I went and ordered tacos, quesabirrias, a burrito, and a quesadilla with corn tortilla. And oh my! That food was delicious my little family liked everything and the portions are excellent , the prices are good too. I will definitely be back when craving tacos .

I've only eaten one dish from the different variety of food to order from. And it is the birria quesadilla. Outstanding!

The place is a great addition to the Santa Cruz county selection of taco places. I enjoy buying from their diverse selection of meats with their cilantro, onions, and beans available to serve yourself. I will note that the location has a small parking lot. Finding a parking spot will be a guaranteed hastle. Also, the customer service might be somewhat disappointing at times. It's expected from taco trucks to not focus highly on customer service. Overall, good joint for some late-night taco meal.

Tacos were really good didnt order anything else. Red and green sauce both had a kick so try it first before you dump it on. They were generous with servings. Was a bit busy when i went around 6:30pm on a saturday

We stopped in for 5 tacos for $10 deal. The birria was good, my husband did mention the asada was dry and overcooked. Good price and the ladies we spoke with her very friendly. We ate indoors. Plenty of seating available, it was not too busy. The soda was a bit expensive, $4.50 for a bottle of soda is a bit extreme.

I need to confess that I have been around the country trying Mexican tacos. These tacos are good, but this being Watsonville, I was expecting a little more. The chorizo is the americanized one. It is not the chunky/meaty one from Mexico. Very greasy too. When I ordered I asked for the tripa taco not to be too fried or hard. I was told they didn’t fry the tripa. When they gave them to me the tripa was fried and definitely not soft. Very greasy too. Finally, the asada taco had chunks of overcooked meat mixed with the tender meat. The portions on all tacos were bigger than normal though, and the taste of the asada taco was very good. They had good salsas and complimentary “frijoles de la olla”, which was a plus. It was open late (11:45 PM or so) which is also good. At that time the options are not many.

This is not a compliant this is information for the owners so they pay a little attention to this area. Taste wasn't there. SALSA was so spicy i couldn't eat the tacos with salsa, I'm sure that only contributed to the dryness of the meat. don't forget not everyone like spicy food.

Tacos are good but ,it's a hit or miss with this place on the flavor. Never get the same flavor or sometimes meats are cooked to much or undercooked. There cooks are very slow and takes a while to get your order.

Extra salsa charge. Salsa is not good. Taco Meat is nothing out of the ordinary. There are definitely beeter places for late night tacos in watsonville.

Was completely disappointed. Tried the asada, pastor, lengua and cabeza none of them were good. Could not even finish the tacos because of how bad it was. To top it all off they had no agua frescas which is what they advertise the most and made me want to come here. Don’t waste your money.

Although my food was fairly satisfying, I will say it was upsetting to see the owner yelling at some customers. The customers seemed very calm and collect but the owner seemed hysterical. Not sure if she was having a bad day but I hope she can learn to not show her emotions at such an extreme way. As an owner, you are representing your business and blowing up on customers is not a good look.

Had gone there recently for a decent food experience, but I guess the word decent isn't even apart of their vocabulary as the food was overly greasy and bland. I had a better experience inside their dirty bathrooms that the employees use although they had no soap which is very suspicious. After using the bathroom my party ended up getting verbally harassed by the owner because I had apparently used the wrong bathroom even though there was no sign saying otherwise. There were people sleeping in the area where the bathrooms were as well as clothing lying around. Then the owner tried to get my parties order canceled because one of us had an "attitude". Personally I think the owner should work on hers as she was the only one with attitude.

Their tacos de tripa upset both me and my cousin's stomachs. My stomach was burning and I had to go home during my lunch break the next day to drink a bunch of gaviscon. He had a similar experience. We swore to never eat here again.
