Kababish Halal Grill Binghamton Reviews
The people who run the restaurant is very nice. The food is very tasty. I enjoyed my lamb over rice very much. I personally could use more veggie. There is a restroom inside. They take cards. The price is very reasonable. For a budget meal or a quick bite, this place is perfect!
I have such a lovely experience over there. I got a beautiful atmosphere with lovely Pakistani people over there. The food is good. I enjoyed my time and I hope whoever goes there enjoys their time too.
So welcoming , As soon as i walked in i was greeted nicely and the service was really fast. This is my first time in Binghamton and it certainly won’t be my last. The food was incredibly amazing and delicious. It was also well portioned and for a really great price. 100% recommended if your in the Binghamton area!!
Awesome food great service. It will fill you up.I guarantee you will not walk away hungry!
Quick and excellent service. Conveniently located across from bus station. Had layover and walked over candy corner from bus station. Will visit again.
Clean, simple .. it was the end of their day, and I jumped in quickly to grab their highly suggested chicken and rice .. it lived up to the recommendations. Very flavorful .. plenty to eat .. exactly what I was looking for .. tasty, moist, perfect .. I had the white sauce. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because it was the end of the day, and with the lights dimmed and everything basically shut down, I really couldn't say what the atmosphere was like, especially since it was a grab and go for me. A half hour later, when I got to the hotel and sat down to eat, I wasn't disappointed 😋. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in town. Looking forward to more!
Great service and amazing food. The staff is very nice and will definitely satisfy your cravings. Atmosphere was great and you must try the chicken sandwiches. 100% recommend this place.
I have returned several times. Consistent and tasty. I leave full and happy. Older review: This was a pleasant stop. Made fresh and so tasty. We had the lamb kabob and lamb gyro. An enjoyable quiet place in the city. Relaxed, laid back and they enjoy making this your best visit. This is the official Halal place in Binghamton. These are truly the Halal guys. Come and try some it will become a fast favorite. We enjoyed every bite.
Stopped here on our way to Canada from NYC. We got the chicken wrap the chicken was cooked thoroughly and seasoned well, the yogurt sauce was impeccable. Although, I was looking for a wrap this was more like a small naan folded like a taco and become undone after unwrapping it. Too much lettuce imo, needs some pickled vegetables to enhance flavours.
I had to drive by Binghamton and searched for a halal kebab place, found Kababish, was surprised by the high review, called to let the owner know that we will be here in 3 hours time, he recomended what to get for our party of 3, Once I got here I realized why this place is 4.8 stars. Amazing Amazing Food! Great Service! Love this place! We cleaned up the whole tray in no time - Every single item was cooked to perfection. I will never go pass Binghamton again before stopping by here.
No dedicated free parking or any .. hence needed to give up as police patrol were vigilant.. sad
they are very inattentive to allergies and I will no longer be going back. I came in today and tried to order a meal.I clarified I do not want fries and have a gluten allergy. I waited 20 minutes for my food to be made. When he called me after the register, I asked again and made sure the fries were not in there. He said he forgot and brought my food back. He came back less than a minute later and said he just pulled the fries out of the container. if you have a severe food allergies then you know that this is an absolutely unacceptable thing. I essentially waited for 20 minutes and gave multiple reminders just to not be able to purchase my food. He told me it would take another 20 minutes to get it remade. There are very few places I trust since I have a severe gluten allergy and unfortunately, I will have to cross this place off the list of places we enjoy
they didnt opened on time, i came from rochester and i had a return bus at 12 but they werent open at 11 when it said it opens at 11
Updated review 8/2025. Ordered several times since my review...utterly disappointmented as the food quality each time has gotten worse. We always get the family platters and the quality and quantity has decreased. Yesterday was/will be the last order. We ordered the family platter that is supposed to feed 2-5 people, and it's the same as quantity as feeding 1-3 people. Seems likes they gave the wrong platter....even with that the chicken kebabs were undercooked, and my daughter got food poisoning from eating it....she didnt even eat more than 3 bites...the beef kebabs were hard and had a foul rotten smell and chicken tikka pieces were dry...I am not sure what happen to this establishment as we loved ordering from here.. but never again. Over 77.00 bucks down the drain and had to order food again as this was not edible... Good customer service. Clean.
The chicken kebabs were raw inside. The meat was way too mushy and soft, when I took a peek in the kebab, it was visibly raw uncooked ground meat. This entree was $77. We paid extra for extra meat. But the amount of meat they gave resembles the same platter we normally pay 40 something bucks for. A complete disappointment
Took the family special and the meat was way way overcooked. it took them about an hour to serve the food. the shish kebabs were black and burnt to a crisp, especially the lamb. just biting into the rock solid pieces were a health hazard. upon communicating the same, the guy at the counter said they do it intentionally so that the meat is not undercooked- which is an absurd excuse to say the least.
The Grill is a Crime Scene If you enjoy the taste of charcoal, then this is the place for you. My meal arrived as a black, crispy puck, a culinary victim of a grill that was clearly set to 'incinerate.' The kitchen didn't just cook my food; they performed a cremation. Every bite was an assault of bitter, carbonized flavor, with any semblance of the original taste completely wiped out. I could've scraped the soot off the bottom of the pan myself and gotten a similar flavor profile. Beyond Well-Done I asked for my dish to be cooked, not cremated. The entire thing was a monument to the kitchen's complete disregard for their own food. It wasn't just a little crispy; it was a burnt, brittle husk. The texture was akin to eating a dry sponge that had been left on a bonfire. I spent the entire meal trying to find a single edible bite, a single patch that wasn't completely ruined, but it was a lost cause. This wasn't a cooking mistake; it was an act of culinary arson.
