Fun local Bushwick vibe. Music is always a part of the experience - and they always nail it. The bar is so comfy. The food is top shelf.

We hosted our wedding “welcome drinks” at Abe’s Pagoda Bar and could not have asked for a better experience!! This is a bar we’ve loved for years, and it meant so much to share it with our guests, many of whom were visiting from out of town and got their first real taste of Brooklyn through this spot. Anne and the team were amazing to work with from the very beginning. She was welcoming, flexible, and made the entire process feel easy. We were able to use the whole space, including the pool tables, and the team even allowed us to bring in some outside food to accommodate guests with specific allergies. They also supplied all the serving materials, which made setup effortless. The food from Abe’s kitchen was absolutely delicious and fresh, and the cocktails were fantastic, crafted to order and a huge hit with everyone! The staff went above and beyond on the night of the event: they helped us decorate, store things behind the bar, and even got us set up with a mic when we wanted to thank everyone for coming. Abe’s is such a gem of a bar!! If you’re looking for a space that feels fun, personal, and full of Brooklyn character, book Abe’s. It was the perfect way to start our wedding celebration!

We thought we'd hit up every tiki or tiki adjacent bar in NY but just found out about this place and it's become an instant favorite. The space is well decorated with tiki, moody Asian vibes. The drinks are tasty and strong. The food is incredible (and they deliver!). Two pool tables in the back. Gonna be regulars here for sure.

Tried Abe’s Pagoda for my first time, and the burger vibe and ambiance is amazing. The food is AMAZING, the drinks are great, and it’s an age appropriate crowd. Easily my fav spot in Brooklyn. PS try the Private Island Burger!

Abe’s Pagoda is an amazing place nearby that always reminds me of home (Florida) the atmosphere is reminiscent of an Asian inspired genre of tiki, which shows the owners are educated enthusiasts! I’ve never written a review but I feel I have to! I love this place! The staff, is a bit of your run of the mill bushwick bartenders, which isn’t bad! They make good/strong drinks! They just aren’t really interested in much “tiki talk” or really educated on it as much, one time I asked for a zombie and one of the bartenders didn’t know how to make it even though they make a virgin version on their menu haha! They are very nice and very friendly though!! And some do make great conversation regardless! The food genuinely brings me to tears, I get the chicken bowl everytime, it always has amazing presentation! It’s the one thing I can get in NYC that reminds me of the food at home, Id like to see more Polynesian food! I’d also love if they’d put more pasta in and less rice but that’s a personal preference haha! All of their food and drink is top notch! Thanks to the owners for having a tiki bar in Bushwick!

Amazing bar! Everything top notch from music, drinks, food, vibes, and service. The prices are amazing for the level of establishment this is. Visiting from LA but what a gem!

Had a small birthday gathering there and it was great. The staff were responsive in helping me make a reservation (even though in the end I don't think I needed one, we went at 6 pm on a Saturday and the bar had quite a bit of space available) and the staff were super nice and helpful during the event as well. Great/affordable food and drinks, especially during the happy hour! And they had vegetarian options for a lot of the food as well.

Great lowkey bar with Asian fusion food and fun cocktails. They have a great dj on the weekends and pool. Great vibes!

Amazing ambiance, decor and music. This place is perfect for any date night or hang out. There are 2 pool tables in the back and plenty of seating. I sat at the bar and had amazing service from the waiter. Don't remember the name but bald headed dude. The food was amazing, I had the Sambal Buffalo Fried Chicken Sandwich and Elote Egg Rolls. The Chicken sandwich was amazing soft bread and crispy breading. Felt like i was eating a Chicken Big Mac with better everything. Not spicy for those that can handle heat. I really enjoyed the Elote Eggroll. Crispy and hot, packed with corn and cheese. I would come here again!

Exceptionally good fries and "concrete sauce," great cocktail (strong!), and lovely atmosphere. Definitely will be back.

One of the best happy hours- especially since it goes from 5-7pm. They have great food and drink options! One of the gems in this neighborhood. They also have pool table in the back!

Was recommended to try this place by a friend and she did not let me down!! As soon as I walked in I was mesmerized by the dark, moody lighting and red lamps everywhere. The bartenders were so kind and helpful. The drinks were cheap and the food was delicious. I ended up spending 40% less than I had anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. We got the gochujang wings, a fried chicken sandwich and the crab rangoons. We left full, happy and a little tipsy! Great casual spot to grab a bite for dinner or a drink before a show!

I was delightfully surprised with this spot. Why doesn’t NYC have places like this? The atmosphere of this place is ssooo moody. The lighting is great. The music brought me back to teens. The drinks were sold, the happy hour 5-7 is where it’s at! My wife said she almost blacked out at how good the egg rolls were. The chicken sandwich was good, well seasoned, but not a ton of meat.

Just so you know I am still here because the Sticky Gochujang Chicken Wings and the Miami Vice cocktail has me trapped. Damian or Damien was the best bartender ever! So kind and very easy going. He let me take my time! If you love spicy and Asian flavors get the Hot Dipped Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich, those before mentioned wings AND the veggie dumplings for the vegans!!!

I recently visited Abe's in BK and if you are the type(like myself) that often enjoys a hidden gem with a moody interior, great drink variety, amazing pricing, and a the ability to be a tucked away or in the mix I havent found many places above ground that gives what Abe's Pagoda does. Food I would definitely recommend their spicy wings as a future go to for me on my next visit and cocktail wise I would pair it with the Smooth Operator. For something that's really good solo and will get you there my vote is for both The Zombie or The Jungle bird. They also do have a strong coffee cocktail I will also say try at least once when you go!

Been waiting nearly a year for this place to open & it's better than I expected! Great vibe & ambiance, looks like a varied & interesting selection of alcohol, cocktails, and beers. Prices are quite reasonable. I've tried the Thai risotto balls & wasabi deviled eggs which were both delicious and the rest of the menu sounds great too. Lots of places to sit and 2 pool tables in the back. Visited twice in their first week and I'll certainly be back many more times. Chatted briefly with the owner on opening night (he was bartending) and he seems like a chill guy, all the staff I've interacted with so far have been quite nice. A+ No reason for me to go to Carmelo's anymore ;-)

The place just open on Monday April 22. Absolutely beautiful and sexy decor. Two pool tables and some arcades in the back. More detailed review will come after the full menu is up and running & all the kinks of opening have been worked out.

Frequently hang out here and the last time I went it was crowded and no seat (except by the bar).. Granted, it was Saturday and Valentines Day but still.. Anyway, drinks are moderately priced and pretty good but we usually just get House wine, beer and sometimes cocktails. 🍹

Decent cocktails and a cool ambiance. The music is far, far too loud for us and made it impossible to talk. We’ve always enjoyed going to this tiki bar, though it’s fallen a little in our estimation recently. Many of the best cocktails have been discontinued and in particular the green hell was not very good this trip. The frozen cocktails are great and probably I’d focus on that in future. Still, this is a place I’ll come again and look forward to it,

We decided to grab drinks here on a weekday after many, many mentions about how much of a vibe this spot was. Located in Bushwick (close to a station I may add) Abe’s Pagoda is definitely a vibe. Ambient red lighting, a big bar, and enough seating in the front and the back to go with a group this spot seems to check all the boxes for a laid back bar. It also boasts a kitchen that makes a variety of dishes. For this trip we tried the fries and their glazed cauliflower. Five stars all around. Drinks were reasonably priced and staff were very attentive. Come here for a laid night back with friends or that special someone.

This fusion of Tiki Bar meets Club, would've been enjoyed when I out to clubs more. I came here with a few friends and think the cocktails are on point. Even more, I've heard the food is good here! Can't wait to come back someday soon.

I just parked in front of the bar and needed to remember where my spot was. I went here recently thinking it was my first time, it turns out I had been there before. It is very loud, and the decor I cannot tell if savory or not. Smacks of orientalism, but I could wrong in my estimation. There are a lot of ornate decorations, and their tater tots are supposed to be quite incredible.
