J San Sushi Brooklyn Reviews
**5/5 Stars – Absolute Gem for Sushi Lovers!** I finally tried J San Sushi after seeing so many strong recommendations online, and wow – it completely lived up to the hype (and then some)! We went with delivery: 4 specialty rolls, 4 classic rolls, and 2 appetizers. The total came to around $80, which is an absolute steal compared to what I usually pay for similar quality and quantity at other places. Seriously, the value here is unreal – generous portions without skimping on anything. The fish was incredibly fresh, bursting with clean, vibrant flavor in every bite. No fishy taste, no meh texture – just top-notch ingredients that punched way above the price point. The rolls were beautifully made, held together perfectly during delivery, and tasted like they came straight from the chef's counter. We'll definitely be ordering again soon and plan to stop in for dine-in next time. Huge thank you to the team at J San Sushi for the amazing food – you've got a new regular fan here! Highly recommend to anyone craving fresh, flavorful sushi without breaking the bank. You won't be disappointed! 🍣🔥
Goated decor. Always ordering their combos and the salmon roll is tasty. California roll pretty good too. I would recommend coming here for fair prices and good food!
I order from here all the time, but I decided to go in person for a lunch date. It was delicious, and they have the best prices in the neighborhood, which is pretty competitive! Everything was fresh, the place was super clean and bright, and the staff was friendly. Order and pay at the counter, everything was very easy, and again, delicious! Love their party trays (love that you can customize them, it’s a really good way to feed a lot of people) and their combos. 11.95 for 3 rolls, sushi, AND soup. I don’t think you can get this type of delicious nutrition anywhere else for cheaper. Thank you J San Sushi 2. I neglected to mention that they also have really yummy special rolls. Their tuna looks amaaaaazing. I also included a picture of the platter I ordered the other day.
I've been going to this sushi restaurant since it opened and I can safely say that my meals have always met the freshness I so expect. I love sashimi and sushi (raw) too much so I can tell if a piece of salmon or tuna is fresh just by looking at it! Their prices are really affordable: I LIVE IN AN AREA WHERE I HAVE TO TAKE THE TRAIN FOR TWO HOURS TO GET TO BROOKLYN It's really worth the trip because their sushi is really delicious 😋 Fortunately I have a friend nearby and after buy I can go to her house to eat and travel again two hours to return to my house 😂 Prices have remained the same since this place opened. I really love their prices, their quality of the product and the place is always clean and quiet! Staff have always been friendly 😊
The party tray is super worth it. For like 35$ you get like 10 rolls. Love they put a lot ingredients and not too much rice, but one thing is that the rice is a bit on the harder chewy side..wish it is lil bit more softer. Still a great neighborhood take out spot. Walk in store front ia very clean and neat that is a huge plus!
Okay, the fish quality seems good again. Please don't ever ever let it slip! If the fish is not fresh, nothing else matters. But now they're taking a long time; last time I had to cancel an order because it still wasn't ready after 45 minutes. Please provide more accurate estimates for pickup!
The small restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. The sunomono appetizer consisted of octopus, kani, salmon, tuna, red snapper and ponzu sauce. Numerous small pieces of fish were sliced and placed in a tray. They have soups, salads, appetizers, poke bowls, entrees and party trays. The party tray F included four regular sushi tolls, nine pieces of sushi and sashimi. The sushi was well-prepared, fresh and good value. Friendly and helpful staff.
We decided to stop by here after hearing a friend rave about this spot. I like how there were a lot of combos at this sushi spot (more on the affordable side). We got combo G and a lunch sashimi set (L2). This was a pretty small sushi spot but we were lucky to get seating. Would recommend to get sushi to go (would also be great for take out for parties or events). Overall it was great but we would try a different combo platter. Would definitely come back here again!
