The Swiss Slice Brooklyn Reviews
man let me tell you, i’ve had A LOT of pizza in NY, such as John’s on Bleeker, Ceres, Angelos, Johnnie’s in Yonkers, but man I have no idea how this Pizza isn’t nationally recognized as some of the best pizza in NYC. Easily the best margarita pie i’ve ever had. Also phenomenal customer service, lil dominican dude was funny as hell, 10000/10 recommend this pizza to every local and traveller to come. Everything was absolutely perfect about this pie…WILL be back
This pizza looks absolutely amazing! The crust is perfectly golden and crispy, with just the right amount of chew. The toppings are generous and well-balanced—the fried chicken pieces look crunchy and flavorful, coated beautifully with sauce, while the pepperoni slice is classic and mouthwatering with melted cheese and a rich tomato base. Everything looks fresh, bold, and satisfying. You can tell this pizza is packed with flavor and made with care—definitely the kind of slice that keeps people coming back for more 🍕🔥
My new neighbourhood pizza joint! Super friendly staff and some amazing flavors. Loved the Pepperoni Pineapple slice, it was INCREDIBLE.
Just found this new spot in my neighborhood called The Swiss Slice, and I’m mad I didn’t try it sooner. The pizza is mad good. Their pepperoni with hot honey is crazy perfect balance of crispy, spicy, and sweet. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and everything tastes fresh. The place has a clean vibe, friendly staff, and they get your order out quick. If you’re in the area, definitely pull up.
Went in for a little of this and a little of that and came back to my son’s place with the goods. I’m from Chicago, raised partly on thin crust pizza from the South Side of Chicago near the old stockyards, so I know my pies. This place is deelish and the only complaint I have is that I will be leaving tomorrow morning and not be able to try them all before then. So I guess when I visit, I know one of my new haunts to visit. And yes, very nice Brooklyn love here!
We were in town visiting family who live in the neighborhood. Our request was some delicious pizza while in town. And boy did Swiss Slice deliver! We had very friendly service and the staff patiently explained the pizzas and toppings available. The pizza was delicious; the crust was great, and the sauce was perfect. We enjoyed the fun atmosphere for and were very happy with our visit. We will definitely return next time in town.
Swiss Slice is one of the closer pizza joints near my house and I must say I’m impressed with their menu, they offer an array of different pizzas and I love that I can walk in and see a pizza combination I’ve never seen before, so definite point's for experimenting with flavors 🙌🏽 Overall quality ingredients, fresh slices and very warm and friendly staff especially the owner! Nothing here to complain about folks.
I have been eating here for about a year and while at first it was ok (I’m a native NYer) I have noticed they have gotten better and better. They are adding new flavors like burrata or new type of pepperoni or something because the quality change is noticeable. The guys there seem to really be proud of their pies :) I like coming here more and more. Update- oops! I gave them 4 :) they are a 5
Let's dive into the realm of mouthwatering pizza slices and the vibrant borough of Brooklyn. As a devoted enthusiast, one of my top recommendations is Swiss slices, a culinary gem nestled in the bustling streets of New York City. During my recent escapade to Brooklyn, I indulged in a slice of their heavenly margarita pepperoni pizza. The cheese melted delicately in my mouth, while the flavors harmonized in a symphony of satisfaction. Additionally, I couldn't resist the temptation of their saucy buffalo chicken slice, which left my taste buds in awe. What sets Swiss slices apart is their diverse range of options. Whether you're a vegan seeking culinary bliss or a meat lover in pursuit of the perfect slice, they have something for everyone. But their expertise goes beyond pizza alone. Prepare to be captivated by their tantalizing pasta dishes, delectable Italian sausage, and an array of bread options that will transport you straight to Italy. Before you embark on your own culinary adventure, be sure to look up Swiss slices and let them know that Marie sent you. Trust me, you won't regret it.
I had the great pleasure to come across this new pizza place in my neighborhood. Marco and his business partner are lovely and we chatted for a bit too. Since I am vegetarian, I ordered a margarita pie with fresh mushrooms on one half. It was very tasty and I think the photos will give you an idea! I am glad my neighborhood is attracting new businesses with cool, friendly, international, pet-friendly, and music-inclined people. Thank you The Swiss Slice, I will come back for sure! X
It was my first time here since it’s close by and I’ve always wanted to try their pizza. They have a nice variety, which I really liked. I’ll be honest, it is a bit pricey for the slices of pizza, but the owner explained that it’s because of the quality ingredients they use. He was also kind enough to give me a free soda with my order, which I appreciated. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and my favorite, the margherita pizza, and both were delicious. The space is a good size with indoor seating available.
This place makes a great slice, I think the sauce is well made and balanced, but honestly it’s very expensive—$17 for 2 pepperoni slices is just too much. The staff is very nice.
This place quietly became a staple in our neighborhood. Well located near a busy intersection on Nostrand ave. Their open concept with the two doors adds a lot of appeal to the place. You can easily walk in, inspect the various pizzas and chose what you want. The margharita slice is my go to, very cheesy, sweet tomato sauce, not too soggy. I have also been tempted to try their new flavors, more recently the sausage pepperoni ,red onions and peppers combo. Very tasty. They have added late hours which is great since a lot of other places are dead past 10pm. Above all, the service is amazing. The staff and owner are always cheerful and insightful on the menu. Definitely a favorite local spot!
Very low to mid pizza at best. Expensive for what you get. $5 pepperoni slice and $3 plain, plus tax on top of that. Sauce is too sweet, dough is not seasoned, I don't think they have the rise on the pizza correct because it's quite bloating. They should try to perfect the plain and pepperoni before making all of these other random slices. I tried them when they first opened and again now, still the same low quality. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend.
