I wish I would have gotten our waiters name , he was the sweetest gentleman. Most waffle houses we have that “basic” experience. However ,. He was on his A GAME and made sure we were taken care of the entire time . Our food was hot and fresh and tasted great!! This will be my favorite spot to stop at in Longview now .. just because the service was amazing.
Every employee was so pleasant. The service and the food were great. I didn't take a picture of my food, but I did get a picture of my delicious milk.
Cedric was courteous and professional. He smiled and made us comfortable with his good attitude. The food was as expected for waffle house.

The food was delicious. I received my breakfast order very quickly. The waiter staff was very attentive to refills and kept asking if I needed anything. It was run like a well-oiled machine. You could tell they all got along and all worked together perfectly. Everyone was all hardworking and extremely friendly. I hadn't been to a waffle house in a long time. But I'll definitely be back here.
Great eating experience at Waffle House in Longview, TX. The staff was attentive and helpful. They were friendly and having a good time serving us. Good music, too! The sausage hashbrowns eggs, Jalopenos, and country gravy was hot and tasty. No complaints.
A huge thank you to the managers and staff at Waffle House!!! Y’all went above and beyond helping make our seniors have a great prom night. Truly a prom dinner experience they will remember for a life time !!!!
If y'all have never been to a Waffle House you are definitely missing out. Love the old school greasy spoone Diner vibes. Best seat in the house is at the counter so you can watch the cooks work their magic. As for the food it's great American comfort food. We ordered the patty melt bowl with hash browns and onions. Steak with eggs, the eggs were cooked perfectly Sunny Side up. and a cheeseburger with hash browns. All the food was amazing and served fresh. It was cool watching them cook our food right in front of us. Our waiter John Paul was amazing and gave us everything we needed accordingly. They made one small mistake and he corrected it immediately and didn't even charge us for it so that was a plus in my book.

I was reluctant to try waffle house because it's just not my preference but I will say the food was good the service was really good, the only hang up I had was the building itself. Its definitely and old style diner type of restaurant. I went with my husband, 3 kids, and my father and we barley fit in the booth. The waitress did help by clearing plates as soon as they were empty. Over all it was a good experience, but due the size of our party compared to the size they can accommodate we might not be back.

Normally I would give Waffle House 5-STAR rating but this time the only thing good about it was is the coffee that my husband finally received and my chocolate milk. The waitress brought the food to us cold my husband's eggs were under-cooked mine were over cooked bacon was cold and the waitress screwed up the hashbrown order on mine.
Ordered the patty melt. Asked for extra onions. I ended up with bacon and very little onions. Worst patty melt I've ever had!! Either the waitress failed to put in the order correct or the cooks didn't listen.

Was told to sit anywhere in restaurant. Waited almost 30mins after being handed menus and no one ever took our order. Waitress then waited on someone who just walked in. Me and my wife left. 3 people were working and no one acknowledged us at all.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT waste your time or money here. All we heard was complaining, the waffles were soggy. Hash browns were burnt. Etc etc etc. we came here to eat, not to listen to the ignorant drama with crappy food. This was a first time we didn't leave a tip in our entire lives but received a notification that doesn't match up with our receipt. Trust me when I say I'm going to fight the charge.
I know it’s Waffle House. And I don’t know if it was because of the rain. But there was an ungodly smell in that place. I took one step in sat down and stood right up and walked out it was unbearable. It smelled like sewer which is why I’m thinking it was the rain but still. It was horrible. A mix of sewage and BO. I’m sure the food and service would’ve been great as always but good lord that place stinks today. 10/25/25
We walked in, and it smelled awful like poop. The floors were sticky and the tables too. Had a great server but we where so overwhelmed with the smell we decided not to order food. Not to mention a friend of my fiances had a roach crawl on her.
