Jet's Pizza New York Reviews
Hakeem was the only worker there when my sister and I can to eat and he was amazing!! Super helpful, considerate, and amicable, he deserves a raise. He made the food for us and we were the last order of the night. It was super yummy! Is he a chef too!?!?
The pizza is the best of New York! I was with my Italian friends and I am from Argentine; and We are agree to say it’s the best… the texture, the flavour… is a 10!
If I could give this place 50 starts I would! We tried Jet’s pizza first in Florida and we were AMAZED! Detroit style pizza is pretty sophisticated here. The crunch, the dripping tomato sauce, the right amt of salty oh man, or the cheese! And this location @NYC is just as awesome if not better cheese and hands down the BEST SERVICE! Went up to the cashier to check out a coke and the dude gave it for free! just don’t understand how this is not as famous as Joe’s! So underrated, PLZ go try this pizzeria and ur life won’t be the same lol!! Tips: there’s usually online deals to get 8 corner pizza which is like a whole pie for 20 bucks and the personalized one which is 4 solid slices still for 13) and u can get the slice for like 4 bucks! Yes a bit on the expensive side but NYC all is so ur paying for an amazing experience honestly
I got to try the Detroit style pepperoni pizza for free on National Pepperoni Day. It was served and it's cute little box which was very nice. Was nice and crispy while the inside of the bread was soft and fluffy. I think the sauce cheese and pepperoni distribution was perfect too, so I would highly recommend trying it. The store itself, although small, was quite clean and had a welcoming atmosphere.
Came into jets because we were looking for a quick pizza and somewhere that had seats available. It was my first time stopping by, and won't be my last. While I wish they had slices, I ended up getting a small thin crust pepperoni pizza that was delicious. Great sauce and overall flavor. The crust was nice and crispy too. The restaurant was clean, empty, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a new regular neighborhood spot for me.
Delicious Detroit pizza. I grew up in Brooklyn eating amazing pizza. I’m not into Chicago style pizza. But this I can get down to. The crust is crisp and buttery, while the dough is fluffy. I picked up a 8 corner, some wings and bread to enjoy at home. They also have some deals! ;) bc this is on the pricer side for pizza !
Review: Jet’s Pizza – A Deep Dish Dive into Detroit Comfort I recently made my foray into the world of Detroit-style pizza at Jet’s Pizza, and let’s just say—I now understand why Detroit wants you to know they invented this rectangle of joy. Thick, cheesy, and unapologetically crust-forward, this is not the pizza you eat delicately. This is the pizza you commit to. I went with the original, topped with banana peppers—an unexpected but welcome guest at the cheesy party. It gave the rich, buttery crust just the right zing, like the pizza equivalent of someone who knows how to both dance and do their taxes. Salty, tangy, slightly spicy… in a word: special. The space itself is surprisingly spacious (Jet’s clearly understands that pizza-induced food comas require elbow room). It can handle a big crowd, and yet, the service was impressively quick—especially considering we were ordering an entire pizza and not just a sad desk slice. The servers were attentive without hovering, ready with drink refills and good energy, and happy to help without that “I’m only here because I have to be” vibe. Bonus points for that. Is it a fine-dining experience? No. But should it be? Also no. Jet’s is exactly what it promises: comfort food done well, served in a space where you can relax, carb-load, and not think twice about it. In short: if you’re curious about Detroit-style pizza and want something hearty, flavorful, and a little different from your usual NY slice, Jet’s delivers—literally and metaphorically. Just be prepared to crave banana peppers on everything from here on out.
Went in late on a Saturday night around 11pm. Happy this spot was still open that late. First time trying Detroit pizza. I got the deep dish plain cheese slice and it was very good. Better than I thought. I really enjoyed the crust and the cheese that's spread all the way to the crust. Nice and crispy. The slice was $3.92. The staff were helpful and friendly. I will be back.
The pizza is good! Albeit shrinkflation has hit this place hard. Each order the pizza gets smaller & smaller. At first I thought it was my imagination, but then I saw how much room was left in the box. Also, the delivery option is complete garbage. If you’re charging for delivery - then at least deliver on time. If they a say a time - it’s an hour later - every time!
The worst pizza I’ve had. Ever. Bland, undercooked, overpriced, and a complete disappointment.
