Sometime in in December my mother went into a local nursing home. Because this is a devastating move for anyone, I knew that I needed to gradually give her something to look forward to. I brought lunch for a long time and food. But then I got into a life-altering car accident and have not been able to visit or bring lunch. Tony's lunch is the absolute best. Not only do they follow instructions to a t, they serve incredibly delicious food at a very low price. Price. They are very convenient and I have absolutely nothing negative to say. I get lunch for my mom and her roommate every other day and they rave that it is some of the best food that they've ever had. So thank you Tony, and your staff for making this so much easier. As everyone has reviewed, this place is wonderful. Grab a meal here soon, sit at the counter and it's time travel! Route 66 would have cherished Tony's Newburgh Lunch, creative sandwiches, burgers, truly magical secret sauce. Try everything, you won't be disappointed! I would give this 100 stars if I could.
Love it, can tell it's been around awhile. Old school diner vibe. Got a tom tom patty melt. Delicious. Best corn muffin I ever had and I love corn muffins. Lol, highly recommend.
Best breakfast you can get for the price. Who wants to spend 16+ on an omelette at the diner. Go here you’ll spend half that. Great food great establishment! There is a reason it’s been around for this long!
We have been going to Tony’s for years. The food is always good. The service is great and you quickly become part of the “family”. This is our happy place we love it.
This is truly a gem here in the City of Newburgh. This place is one of the few places I'd consider to be fairly priced in an age where inflation has gone crazy. The food is heavenly, I quite literally ascended to another plain of being after eating. Do yourself a favor and go here.

Little long time gem hidden on Broadway, & I always wanted to stop in for a cheese burger. They were all very pleasant, the cheeseburger was delish,& what I liked best is that is not pre-made. All burgers & hot dogs are made while you watch them cooking. Great place to visit!
Got a dawg with sauce and the Tom Tom melt. Both excellent but the Tom Tom will def be my go to from now on. People were super friendly. This is a nice spot for a great cheap bite in Newburgh.
For $12 I didnt have much food. The place is always clean. Service is good as well. I had too much butter. Had to take it off my my plate. But otherwise, it's the same as always.. Tony's sauce is on point.
If you just look at the menu you probably wouldn't expect much from this spot, but you would be wrong. The hot dogs and burgers are fantastic. The atmosphere is a traditional old-school lunch stop, which is a nice change of pace. The history of the place is on the walls, literally. MAKE SURE your dogs and burgers have Texas Sauce on them. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

The waitress there was absolutely welcoming and wonderful she wonderful she took care of all of our needs my husband and I went out on a lovely lunch date and the hot dogs are exquisite perfectly reminds me of my childhood memories and their friend tries were so crispy and the cheese just added that a scrumptious flavor that you want from cheese fries and everybody was so kind and welcoming the great atmosphere especially if you have that old school esthetic you're looking for I would definitely say go there and enjoy yourself enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy the people there as well
We are from Indiana visiting to purchase a van so we had never been here. It's not much to look at but the food is good, the waitress was very friendly and the price was exceptionally good. It's a little cafe style place with a bar and bar stools and 4 or 5 tables. Two of us ate and left full for only $11. Can't beat that price. We didn't get drinks but didn't need them. Since we are going to have to stay an extra night we will probably come back again tomorrow.
Nice place with great service. The food was a little small but appropriate to its cost.
