Irving Pizza San Francisco Reviews
Not the best pizza in the city or anything special, but if you're in the area this is a great place to grab a slice. They almost always have plain cheese, pepperoni, pepperoni & sausage (best choice), supreme/combo, and garlic chicken w/ pesto (worst choice) pizzas on display, ready to be sold by the slice. Even so, I've never had a slice that wasn't nice and fresh. The service is part of what sets this place apart from the other 10,000 pizza places in the area. The staff are very friendly & always have a smile. It's clear that the employees enjoy their jobs and that they have fun with the customers and each other. This does not, however, interfere with their professionalism or ability to work quickly and efficiently. It's not the best pizza in SF, maybe not even the best tasting pizza in the TL, but their excellent customer service, consistent product and great prices make them a great choice for takeout, dine-in, or delivery. Not surprisingly, their whole pies tend to be the tastiest, too. Note: They also take EBT, which is an added bonus. Don't get it twisted, though... This is the opposite of Chico's pizza in every single way. How that place stays open (with not just one, but TWO locations) is totally beyond me... But that's another review for another day.
The pizza was amazing and moderately priced. Next door is a convenience store with a sub shop and regular essentials. The crowd outside can be questionable, but hey, free entertainment 😉

Irving ALWAYS has delicious pizza. It's my go-to when I am in the TL. I always do take out, but they have a small dining area with tables and chairs. ❤️
Irving pizza has hands down the BEST pizza in the entire Bay Area, in my opinion. Their other food options are all so so so delicious. If you are ever in the area, make sure to swing by Irving Pizza. It has gotten to the point where I am visiting them at LEAST 5 days a week!!! I love Irving pizza and hope they stay open for years to come!!!!
All items delivered hot & fresh. No photos captured, our group was hungry. But, the Irving Special looks exactly like the thumbnail on DD, and taste as good as it looks. The chicken tenders were meaty, fries plump (not oversalted/seasoned) — not dried out, or fried in end-of-day rancid oil. I did not expect this amazing quality so late and close to closing.
Me and my girlfriend were driving around tonight (around 11 PM) when we spotted Irvine Pizza open, so we decided to give it a shot. And we’re glad we did! We each grabbed a slice of pepperoni, and not only were the slices huge, but also tasted great. The service was great, friendly staff and our order came out really fast. The place itself is small but has an awesome atmosphere. The walls are covered in pictures from classic mob movies like Goodfellas and Scarface, which gave it a cool, laid-back vibe that we really liked. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re out late and craving a solid slice of pizza. We’ll definitely be coming back again.
Best pizza I've had, I don't even mind going to the tenderloin for it.
Super good and close to where we live! Not to mention they take EBT and are open way late!!
Quick and easy spot for a slice or two of pizza. The lady working the front counter is always very nice and helpful and has a smile on her face. All the pizzas are premade, you pay per slice and they warm it up for you. The pizza is pretty good, expect to pay around seven dollars per slice I got two and was totally satisfied.
Extremely good pizza. It is so delicious. The service is always incredible. One of the best pizza joints in S. F. It is top 3 best pizza in my opinion in S. F.
Pizza is amazing and staff is always so kind to my friends and I who come in regularly and pay with EBT exclusively. Chicken pesto is my favorite, but I haven't found a slice I didn't like yet.
I'm visiting from TX and was looking for some good pizza. Irving Pizza was recommended to me and it didn't let me down. Food: I order the San Francisco pizza and wings. It was made fresh so it was hot and delicious. Service: The gentleman that helped me was very polite and courteous. Atmosphere: On the inside was great, outside was a lot of homeless but no one bothered me. I definitely recommend this spot and I would go again.
It's small more of a takeout place. The food is delicious and made with care.. big portions and they take ebt. Now their a bit pricy, but the quality and portions make up for it. I personally like the double patty bacon and cheese burger.. so good.. I'd snap a picture but I scrafed it down.. ohh and the fries are homemade fries.. soon good.
Best pizza in the tenderloin area in my opinion. I’ve been a loyal customer for years when I lived closer to Irving and now the Geary location. Boy was a excited when I heard about the Geary location. 2.5 blocks from my house and they are open till at least 2 a.m even later on weekends! Can’t go wrong with a late night pizza 🫶🏻
Awesome pizza by the slice! They also do full sized made to order pies. A bit pricey and the place is small but the portions are good sized, they are open late and they deliver. The pizza will put a smile on your face. The sauce was good and not too heavy. Dough is crisp and tastes like fresh sour dough bread.

Not a bad slice of pizza. The size of the docs reminds me of what you see on the food network, when they eat pizza in NYC. The slice was large to the point where you had to fold it just to fit it in your mouth, wonderful grease from the pepperoni, and hot damn the crust was delicious. I never thought I'd say that about the crust. The crust was absolutely flavorful and perfect

Pizza is good, but online ordering sydtem doesn't work at all. You order online, it says ready at 7pm. You go to pickup, and thry go what? Online order? Oh sorry, we'll make it for you now. And then you havevto wait 20 minutes while they make the pizza.

My pizza was delivered having looked like it fought in a war and lost. Half the pizza didn't have toppings and there was a soggy hole in the box. When I tried to pull a slice from the box, the toppings slide right off.
Hi, I am not a regular customer from the store but I order late night. This is happening since two days after 10 o’clock. They did not pick up calls nothing personal just want to tell the owner I was trying to order for the family. It was a $300 order. Nobody pick up the phone then I have to order from the other store
