The Lightbox Café San Francisco Reviews
Absolutely incredible. The food was outstanding, service was seamless, and they managed to pull everything together for 100 guests in only 48 hours. Couldn’t recommend them more. I have to try their physical location because the food was truly just that good.
Dropped into this gem of a venue around 9:30 on a weekday and was immediately enveloped by its pristine ambiance and heartwarming charm. The front-of-house team showcased impeccable hospitality, especially the gentleman who took my order, wearing a constant smile as the cherry on top. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and, to my delightful surprise, it was a hearty portion, truly a testament to their generous culinary philosophy. If I were to wear my chef's hat, I might yearn for a tad more egg to satiate my personal palate, but that's merely a gourmet's whim.
Super bright, clean and delicious breakfast spot. We were in SF for a night and looking for a good spot for breakfast near our hotel. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon and my wife had the granola and berries with a side of yogurt. We both loved our food. Will definitely eat here again next time we're in town.
Opposite to the trans bay terminal and near Schwab, this is a friendly and spacious cafe for indoor and outdoor dining and snacking. Lots of communal tables and free WiFi. They also don’t charge much more for drink size upgrade!
Delicious avocado toast hit the spot. Coffee and strawberries 💥

Place is reopened now after a kitchen remodel. They have the best vegetarian burritos in SF
One of the most relaxing cafes/restaurants I’ve been in. Order at your leisure and staff was very patient yet swift with orders. Great place to work or host a party too.
A great place for a quiet start to the day. The food is well executed and scrumptious. The ingredients fresh and lovey.
Excellent breakfast and great service to start our day touring San Fran! I recommend LBC to out of Towner's staying in the area!
This place has REALLY high ceilings. The breakfast burrito is great too.
One of the more reasonably priced places to go for breakfast. The portion size for the price so far cannot be beat! I highly recommend the stuffed croissant with ham, you will not be disappointed.
First time visit, but after trying the food it won’t be my last. Ms. Dolly recommended a new local beer Saison, turned out to be a great recommendation, I loved it. Thank you Beautifully lit outdoor area with changing colors that add to the ambiance.
Great spot! Lovely atmosphere, great service, friendly staff. The Steak super quesadilla is my go-to, but I'm sure everything else is just as well done!
Great vegetarian breakfast. Super friendly people. They have a restroom. All good things.

Had a good experience during lunch break. Friendly staff and food came out quick and hot.
not a bad spot for lunch. They have good vegetarian options (tofu) for the bowls.
California cobb salad was almost delicious! One issue when I got this togo tgey barely filled up the dressing so my salad was a bit dry. However the ingredients were on point!

the service was good. the furniture and ambiance was nice. The food (burrito bowl) did not feel fresh or high quality and was meh. The room needed a better ventilation as well

Despite the warm interior and good food, the service was terrible. It took 25 minutes to get an avacado toast with a poached egg and 40 minutes to get a decaf coffee. We would definitely not recommend The Lightbox Cafe based on it's very poor service.

Bad breakfast experience. They got my order incorrect, yet they remade it for me without complaint. The breakfast sandwich tasted soggy and the latte was tasteless. Nice interior design, yet the front door kept opening to let a cold draft of wind in. I left feeling disappointed.
