Broadway 830 Uvalde Reviews
Food and drinks were great and everything was a good price. It will now become one of my regular places to go to when I visit the area.
The pizza I got was absolutely delicious. El Gringo. Plus I got extra crispy garlic parm wings where off the chain delicious. I'll definitely be coming back soon. Our waitress Cheryl was on point.
The building hides a a delightfully cozy eatery. I ate out on the patio to enjoy the night air, and the atmosphere was a unexpected treat for me. The service was wonderful and the wait staff kept up with anything needed. The food took a little less time than was expected when making made to order pizza, but it was all spectacular and delicious. I will be sure to eat here again next time I am in the area on business.
The service here was great — fast, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant itself is very clean and cozy, with a nice layout including the bar area and outdoor seating. As for the food, it was just okay. We tried the Buffalo wings, which were decent but nothing special. The pepperoni pizza and La Migra pizza had good dough, but the toppings felt a little weak. The lemonades for the kids tasted quite watery, though the strawberry margaritas were enjoyable. Overall, the place has a nice atmosphere and good service, but I don’t think the food quite matched the price. 😏
Had the Verdict pizza, it was excellent. Great friendly staff. Excellent vibes along with a really nice outdoor patio. Parking lot is small off the main street. Plenty of side street parking with a short walk.
We ordered from Broadway 830 - Food was ready in less than 30 min! The pizza was phenomenal and large portions! The wings were also good! Would highly recommend this establishment! We will definitely dine in next time!
The staff was wasted by the eclipse rush, but we got our food and our check, so no complaints. I'm not a beer guy, and generally don't go for bar-ish pizza joints, but we were in town and thought we'd give it a try. Glad we did! Had the El Coyote and it was really yummy. Crust was well cooked but not burnt, toppings were yummy, and the sauce was amazing. Outdoor seating area is nice and we got to see other peeps dogs, always a bonus. Next time we're in Uvalde we'll drop by again! 🙏
Took a bit to get a service but when we did he was very good . Salty bunny was very watered down, tasted like favored water. Food was amazing, atmosphere is great.
We use to love our visits to Broadway but, lately, the food has been hit or miss. We’ve noticed that the quality of pizza you get, highly depends on the person on staff making them. Sometimes they’re great, and other times the toppings are not spread out to the edges and you end up with 2-3” of crust. While the food has been disappointing, the servers have been great. Gerard, Cheryl and Dayna always do a great job and are so attentive.
Had a terrible experience that I am sharing to help others avoid a similar outcome. I love small independent businesses, so prior to last night, I supported this place every time I drove through Uvalde. I dont, however, support bad management practices or being treated poorly, nor am I a fan of paying for a lousy product, I ordered 2 pizzas. One personal sized, one in the largest size. These are wood fired, so my expectations were to have some charred bits on the crust. Im a retired chef so I am not ignorant of food preparation. Im forgiving of kitchen error. I empathize with both front and back of house pressures but when I am served food clearly not up to their standards ( or mine) I will ask for it to be fixed. I do so kindly, and with patience. So, I was served a burned pizza. I tried to eat it, but it was actually burned. Not well done or crispy, but burned to a char in over half of the crust. It happens. And when it does you apologize and fix it. If you disagree with the customer, like, if they have eaten 30% or more, then you might decline to remake. If they are serial complainers, or taking advantage, you might decline to remake. Otherwise you either dont charge them or you fix it. The manager, Cane, didn't even lower himself to speak with me. Instead he was rude to the server when she returned the burned pizza to the kitchen. He told her to tell me he could remake it but it would be "doughy" and that there was nothing wrong with my pizza. He then was heard complaining that she brought it to his attention. I was famished so I ate 3 slices, eating around the blackest charred parts. I left the remainder although I had ordered that large size planning to take the remainder home for my husband's dinner. Look at the photos. Compare the personal pie to the large one. The small one was not doughy, nor was it burned. Just the large which incidentally came out to our table 5 minutes after the small. My experience was a fail across the board, but could have been saved had the management been less of a bro and more of a manager. I was given a 3.00 discount on my bill, which was 45.00 for 2 people, each of us having a draft beer, so it wasnt an expensive loss for me. It cost them my support, and that is a shame. I wish them better days going forward. If they treat their customer base as I was treated that is unlikely.
Some assembly required. The word “artisan” food means finely prepared and blended for flavorful consistent flavor across the whole pizza. What I received was large uncut chunks. The cauliflower crust was a bit over cooked, and not cut all the way thru when sliced. Definitely not artisan and not worth the money.
Brought my kids here we were 5 in total. We came in and ppl just stared as if we did something wrong. Anyhow, the food is good. We got 2 large pepperoni pizza and I got a cauliflower pizza. Service sucked honestly. The waitress said she would refill drink which she did not ever. We from Eagle Pass and driving by Uvalde.
Last week over a hour wait on a weekday around 11:30am for a pizza. They gave us a gift card for &40.00 so we go back today 2-21-26 and it took 15 minutes after we sat down for someone to take our order and than were told at least 35 minute on a pizza. Everyone had there food but one table outside. We just said no thanks and left. Who ever owns the establishment needs to sell it so someone can operate it professionally.
Decided to give this place a second chance after waiting more than 45 minutes last time I was here, and was not served again in more than 45 minutes. Out of all 10+ employees only one is working the kitchen, the rest stand around doing nothing. These people know how to work a restaurant like I know rocket science. Could've gone to the HEB frozen food section in less time for the same quality food.
The best wing in town?? I don’t know from where! We asked for them to be extra crispy and they came out rubbery and gooey. We got both, bone in and boneless. Both were disappointing. Tastes like Tyson’s frozen wings, and even then I think those are better. The pizza taste like it was premade and in a box. Taste like the school pizza, thick crust, bland cheese and tasteless sauce. I spent $80 to be even disappointed by the drink that was flat. I do not recommend at all!
Our recent visit to Broadway 830 left us with mixed feelings, a testament to the restaurant's incredible food overshadowed by some truly disappointing service. Cheryl Our server was really nice, but took a very long time to deliver anything to the table. The food at Broadway is exceptional. The pizza is a culinary delight. However, the customer service was subpar. The server was inattentive, and the drinks and salads took a long time to arrive. It would understandable if the restaurant was packed. But there were only 4 tables at the time. The food arrived at different times. We had to go look for cheese and peppers on our own. The bill was incorrect and a gratuity was added without notification. The experience felt disappointing. Also note, this has been the same experience for the past 3 visits. The customer service detracted from the dining experience. Attentiveness and professionalism from the staff are expected. A return would probably only for pick up.
Found a worm in my salad and that was after I had already eaten a couple of bites! It was so gross! A manager didn’t come by to apologize and all that was really said was “so I heard about your salad did you want another one?” and then was later told we can take that off your bill for you. The pizza was ok, our waitress was good though and the atmosphere was nice! Don’t know yet if I will go back.
