3/1/26 Of course I always come here when I come to visit family. Came with my parents and longtime friends and had some good lunch. Ruth was our server and she was excellent. Food and Drink as also very good . Got the usual honey walnut shrimp, Kung pao chicken, pork fried rice, panda beef , & phoenix chicken. Everything was hot and delicious as usual. I will keep coming back . Enjoy !!!!
Delicious Chinese food, with great service and ambiance. We got the Panda Beef and the upside down noodles with chicken and shrimp. I also added a cup of egg- drop soup. They're always consistent with their flavors and service. Highly recommended. 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Reservations highly recommended, or else you'd either wait or sit at the bar like we did.
Went to the old Panda Inn for decades. This was my first time at the new one. How refreshing, beautiful decor, bright with great open feel. Food & service excellent. Parking a big plus!
Love the remodel. Sushi and nigiri were fresh and tasty. Will be back.
Went out for a nice meal and Lincoln was our waiter. He was very kind and attentive to my little guest, which I truly appreciated. We ordered broth soup with white rice for him, and I had the Chicken with Garlic Sauce — it was so yummy, I ate every bite! The food was great, and when you pair good food with excellent service, it makes you want to come back. Thank you, Lincoln, and the entire staff at Panda!
Flew in from Las Vegas for the day with my son for an appointment next door, and we decided to have lunch here. We ordered a few appetizers (Hot & Sour Soup, Edamame, Mu Shu, Mussels, Lettuce Wraps, Lobster & Shrimp Won Ton) to share, and my son had the Panda Inn Special. The service was amazing — very attentive and friendly. The food was great and perfect for sharing. A bit on the salty side for my taste, but my son absolutely loved it. Some of my photos may show the dishes after we had already started eating! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather — the patio area was lovely. Overall, a very nice restaurant and a great dining experience. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some good Asian cuisine.
The panda Inn in Pasadena California was torn down and rebuilt into this really nice and slightly upscale restaurant. The service was fantastic and friendly. Parking is super simple and you can park in the parking structure and get validation for up to three hours. That’s pretty good in my book. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere fear was equally good. Sorry that I don’t have photos to show. I would definitely go back.
We visited Panda Inn in Pasadena for the first time, and our experience was incredible. Our server, Joana, was absolutely amazing — she took the time to share the history of Panda Inn with us, which made the visit even more special for first-timers. Her service was warm, attentive, and truly memorable. And the food… WOW! Honestly the best Chinese food we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious, but special shout-outs to the Wagyu Chow Mein, Lobster Wonton, and Tuna Crispy Rice — absolutely outstanding! We left extremely satisfied and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
Panda Inn Pasadena has been completely transformed after the restaurant was rebuilt from the ground up. The refreshed location has a beautiful interior that tells the story of the family behind Panda Express. Panda Inn has familiar dishes like Orange Chicken and Beef & Broccoli but with extra flavor you’d expect from a full sit down restaurant. Restaurant features a bar for drinks, a Japanese sushi bar with limited sushi selection, along with indoor and outdoor seating. Service could be improved as on a Saturday night the staff all seemed frantic and you had to flag down waiters as they weren’t able to check on their tables. The dinner menu is family style that is good to share for 2-3 people if you order a few dishes to share. The lunch menu is suited for individuals with a main entree and soup. Panda built a 4 story parking structure behind the building so bring your parking ticket inside to validate for 3 hours free.
It was our first time dining at Panda Inn tonight, and we had an absolutely incredible experience. I couldn’t wait to write this review! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the gorgeous space, the elegant exterior, the warm lighting, and our beautiful marble-top table, which set the tone for such a special evening. Our server, Alexis, was wonderful, charismatic, knowledgeable, and attentive. She guided us through the menu with great, spot-on, and delicious recommendations. Another highlight was the cocktails. We had the pleasure of meeting Helena, the talented bartender, whose drinks were perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. We enjoyed every dish: the oysters with yuzu foam, crispy crab wontons, hot and sour soup, panda beef, and the spicy eggplant, all bursting with flavor and plated with care. For our first visit, Panda Inn completely exceeded expectations. Everything was flawless, from the food and cocktails to the warm, professional service. We’ll definitely be back!
A renewed pasadena classic. I hadn’t been in ages. It was good then, but great now. The atmosphere is as good as the food. Most large restaurant spaces this style are noisy and crowded. This has been perfectly designed so that it feels comfortable and inviting. The service is spot on with such attentive staff. The family that brought us Panda Express really honor their commitment to quality food and tradition. I’ll be coming back more often.
Panda Inn in Pasadena just went through a remodel, and the updated interior looks great.. modern, clean, and welcoming. I went there for dinner with friends and was impressed with both the food and service. The beef salad was packed with flavor, and the cheese wontons were crispy and well prepared. Everything came out quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. Parking in Pasadena is usually a hassle, but luckily there’s a three story parking structure right behind the restaurant. That made things a lot easier. I would recommend making a reservation, especially during dinner hours. The place fills up fast. Even with the crowd, the noise level wasn’t bad at all. We could talk comfortably without having to shout, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great place for a casual dinner with friends or family. Solid food, fast service, and a good atmosphere. I be back.
This place has it all, amazing food, vibes, service and atmosphere. The drink menu is perfectly curated. Tried the Lychee Martini, it was a solid 1st drink choice and super delicious. Then tried the signature Mai tai and Passionfruit margarita, both really delicious but the Mai tai was very strong (husband liked it). All the food was cooked well, seasoned to perfection and our server guided us with recommendations to complement the experience. We were decided on the combination rice and phoenix chicken and undecided on one more to try but I am glad we went with the honey walnut shrimp. It had a nice crisp outside but perfectly cooked inside. Would love to come back to try the sushi because our neighboring table was raving about how it just “melts in your mouth”. Definitely a must try!
Was recently at the Pasadena location . We had a beautiful lunch . And we had the Dine La menu . Excellent service and great birthday celebration.

Good service \nGood food\nNice ambiance \nWe are return customers of 50 years when they opened the first small store front in the mid 70s \nIt's been a fun experience
Delicious and the atmosphere was great here! I've had this spot on my "to try" list and I was not let down
The newly rebuilt Panda Inn is phenomenal! The ambiance is so elevated now and the food as exceptional as always. Lincoln our server was impeccable. He really made our dining experience 10/10!

First time visit, a fan of Panda Express and wanted to try the elevated version. The service was excellent, and the ambiance, however felt food was just ok. Ordered the lunch special, honey walnut shrimp $22, orange chicken $18, beef & broccoli $18 comes with egg roll, rice, and soup (egg drop, hot & sour), Requires reservations and no guarantees for booth seating will be a round table instead, outside or bar seating is available.
We ordered panda beef, phoenix chicken, shrimp fried rice, kung pow chicken, pungent shrimp, and steamed rice. All of them tasted great. The steamed rice comes with the meal, which is great! The difference between this panda Inn and the one in Glendale is you can order larger portions at the Glendale location which is unfortunate cause we came to this location with quite an appetite and had to place multiple orders to get the same portion we are used too. All in all, the atmosphere in the restaurant is great and so was the food. We will be back again soon!
Good Service, nice eating atmosphere, familiar food .\nAlthough price is a bit expensive, but it worthwhile!

Food is no better than Panda Express! price is outrageous and it is not an authentic Chinese cuisine.
We went to Panda Inn with high expectations, knowing this was the original location, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We had a New Year's Day reservation and were seated quickly.…

I love all Panda Express foods and I’m a huge fan of the chain. Panda Inn was just okay. The restaurant itself was great after the renovations and the service was excellent. However, the food was really below par. I would rather just go to Panda Express tbh. We ordered everything that was supposed to be a specialty item there and it was all too salty. Mapo tofu vegetarian- WAYYYY TOO SALTY and the texture was as if they put too much corn starch in the broth so it was a muted flavor Mongolian beef- where’s the beef? It was basically flavored green onion Clay chicken- the waiter said we NEEDED to get this dish because it was such a specialty item but it tasted like a bland chicken teriyaki… but in a clay bowl Kung Pao shrimp- so salty. I can’t. Shrimp fried rice- solid. This was good! Panda beef- so so so salty and the sauce they put on top had a lot of corn starch so the texture was goopy All in all- wouldn’t pay extra for a less tastier version of Panda Express when you have all of San Gabriel valley and the most amazing Chinese restaurants within a 5-10 mile radius.
The food is alright but the service sucks. Brought out dinner plates 20 minutes apart leaving everyone done eating while the other half barely starts.

Very, very disorganized front desk staff. Came here for the first time with a reservation. My party wasn’t even acknowledged when we entered. Front desk staff looked annoyed. It took 32 mins before we got seated and barely got acknowledged the entire time we were waiting. It then took an additional 23 mins before we got our food. It’s clear that they overbooked and are operationally disorganized in general. The restaurant itself was recently renovated from the ground up and does look impressive. But it seems like they didn’t invest enough in their staff training. Food was just ok and not much better than Panda Express, honestly. I’d go to Din Tai Fung if you want great service and great food at this price point. I wouldn’t come back here again. Extremely disappointing experience.
