Great "early bird" lunchtime menu with a wide selection of pizza and pasta dishes as part of a 3 courses for £16. The only criticism is that they'd run out of pizza dough so I couldn't have pizza. I enjoyed the meal so much that I thought it would be churlish to knock a star off for that.

Great place for dinner in Hexham, lovely staff and great service. Went for the bruschetta starter and papardelle Bolognese, both really delicious. Nice buzzy atmosphere with different groups and families in the back area of the restaurant and then a bar at the front. Really enjoyed the whole evening

Don't miss this special place. The dishes were smashing and satisfied my gluten-free wife. The desserts were pleasant.

I visited today with two friends and was throughly impressed. The customer service was great as well as the outdoor seating. We opted for the early Bird package which included 3 courses for just £9.95!!. Absolute bargain. Available between 12-5pm. Between us we ordered potato skins and bruschetta for the starters. THEY WERE DEVINE we had to order an extra portion of potato skins. We ordered magherita and a Veg pizza = it was delicious and friendl ordered the pasta dish with fish. The dessert option was ice-cream or coffee.. we opted for ice-cream = once again it was delicious. I would recommend all to visit. Way better than leading pizza stores. Thank you

Staff were really friendly and found me a table in the bar area on a busy Saturday night. Service was attentive and my vegetarian lasagne and brownie were delicious, as was the raspberry muddle cocktail. I was too late for the earlybird deal, but even so it was reasonably priced. A nice treat on my visit to Hexham :)

Twice I've visited so far and this is the best restaurant in the town. Food is remarkable with a lovely bar too. I've had pizza and pasta here and both exceeded my expectations.

Fabulous bottomless brunch 😋 Food was beautiful well presented also. Drinks was flowing nice over the 2 hours staff was great. Absolutely worth the money 🥂

Great venue, fantastic food and amazing staff. Prices were great for the portion sizes, good gluten free options and plentiful selection of drinks.

Had a really nice meal here last night. Nice place, atmosphere, good service and tasty food. The mains were spot on, but the mixed breads... Oh my lord! They were some of the best!

Best bottomless brunch I've been on, fast and friendly service, food outstanding and fantastic atmosphere

A few months ago, we ordered from vercelli and although we ordered onion rings, they were unfortunately missed off our delivery. This was an easy mistake and didn't bother us at all. We were contacted by staff around 15 minutes after delivery and they were extremely apologetic and said they would offer us a discount. Months later we have ordered today and they have honoured the discount. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing and we will continue to go back. 5/5 or 10/10. 😁 Also. Cajun chicken burger is the best around, no question.

Had the early bird menu here today at lunchtime. For £15 we were expecting a small lunch for the price and we would have been happy with that. However it was a very large lunch which was delicious I hasten to add. The potato skins were lovely as was the bruschetta. We opted for a pizza each, fungi and Hawaiian and they were huge and well topped. We could have opted for ice cream or coffee within the cost of the meal and decided on coffee which tasted like real coffee despite mine being decaf. Have had so many disappointments with decaf coffee but this was great. Atmosphere was really nice, they have a good outside space for when the weather is nice. Service was so friendly, the staff were efficient and we felt that a tip was deserved and it is not often at all I can say that. Just as well we don’t live in Hexham, we would be visiting this restaurant too much 🤣.

We had a wonderful experience at Vercilli. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was delicious. Not every dining experience outside of home turns out great, but we absolutely did not regret trying Vercilli. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We had our toddler with us, who was not in the best mood that day, but the team was incredibly patient and made us feel welcome throughout. Overall, it was a great experience with both the food and the service. We will definitely dine again when we go back to Hexham.

Lunch Menu Sea Bass, wow oh wow. Nearly went for the soup and sandwich, absolute bargain at under a fiver. Defo be back for the lunch menu again

I use to live in Hexham and visit vercellis semi regularly. Their gluten free pizza are the best I’ve had! Thanks for actually putting effort In to find a decent base and not make it a tick box exercise! I will be back for a visit in July 😍

The menu is extensive and the linguine bolognese Is the best I have ever had in my travels. We were there on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. I'd recommend reservations. There was an 18th birthday party that night so that contributed to the noise level, which was considerable and staff was stretched but doing well considering the circumstances.

Great place. First class service. We had pizza and pasta. Beautiful.

Great find. Food was lovely, big portions, fresh and tasty. Excellent service. And there was a deal of 3 courses for £15 which I thought was really good (we didn't do it though). Would definitely go back if I returned to Hexham.

Vercellis catered so well for our large party last night. The waitress was extremely well informed about allergy issues and ensured the chef was alerted to the various restrictions our party had. Service was prompt and efficient despite the size of the group and the food excellent. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Come To Vercellis Regularly, Usually for Drinks and Snacks But Occassionally a Meal. Last Week They Hosted Our Wedding Party and It Was Lovely, The Decor Is Great and Always Very Clean, Staff Very Friendly and Accommodating, Food Was Lovely and I Hear the Gluten Free and Vegan Was Great Too! They Provided for Shellfish, Dairy and Nut Allergies as Well as The Above and Vegetarian.

Delicious Food, Friendly and helpful staff, Great Value and lovely atmosphere. I've had a few of the different pizzas, steak, burgers and a few of the pastas and they have all been faultless. The pizza dough is so good and the chips are perfect. Highly recommended!

Lively!!!! 6:30 pm Wednesday evening and it was hopping! Not the place for a romantic dinner for two. Food excellent. Staff fantastic. Service a bit slow but not bad considering how busy it was. We had a minor problem with a glass of wine being accidentally spilled by a member of staff, but they couldn't have dealt with it any better. Highly recommended.

Ordered takeaway from here and collected it. Very nice food. We had the chicken Kiev pizza and meatball pasta. Very tasty.

Absolutely fantastic meal tonight for the last day of our holiday. The restaurant was quite busy but everything arrived together, was hot and our server Izzy was superb.

Excellent Italian restaurant which we were recommended to try while staying up at St. Oswald's Farm on the Military Road.. Interesting menu with all the standards there but the food was well-presented and tasty. Good friendly and efficient service from the staff. Booking by OpenTable which worked very well for us. All our food was lovely!!!! Simple wine list but they do wine by the glass, so we were happy. Comfy cocktail bar at the front with a nice atmosphere and a patio garden area at the back with booths. All explained on the website.

Came for bottomless brunch yesterday. Arrived to a live singer which was a bit loud and we couldnt hear each other but after a few drinks was ok to have a little sing along with but to be honest was pleased when he packed up so we could chat with just the background music. Waitress was very attentive, as soon as our glasses were anywhere near empty she arrived with another round. Food nice, not proper italian quality by any means but still good. We stayed on after our alloted time to have some rounds of cocktails - shame you cant pay an extra fee and have some of them included on the bottomless menu. Overall we would definitely come again one of the best bottomless i have done for attentive staff and well priced.

A nice find in Hexham. After 4 days of hiking, pasta was the craving. For Gluten free, this is THE place. GF pasta AND GF pizza choices. Well mixed Cocktails at 2 for only £15. But the food was definitely a highlight. Lots of choice on the menu and every dish our table of 4 ordered was excellent. (Pictures attached). Lovely and friendly service was a bonus

Gorgeous food but loud and overwhelming atmosphere! Staff are super friendly but service is a little slow- we waited 30+ minutes after ordering for starters. The main restaurant area is lovely but very echoey so everyone's chat is amplified making for a very loud and overwhelming space. Ultimately the food is beautiful so would probably revisit midweek where it would hopefully be less busy.

Place is ok but not value for money. I am coeliac so I had limited options and got charged for my pizza extra £3 for gf base and even charged extra £1 for the replacement topping but the chicken on the pizza was nonexistent. Total five cubes of chicken😅😅 I mean this is just a rip off !! I don’t know if I should laugh or get angry ?! 😏 I am asymptomatic coeliac so it’s very important for me to eat at places that guarantee no cross contamination.

Bottomless brunch was chaotic, Service was poor as didn't seem like enough staff to fulfil the drinks orders. Would of been better if customers could go to bar & ask for a drink themselves when they were ready

It was a special day celebrating my daughter’s birthday, so I booked this Italian restaurant as it is usually a good option for children. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience due to the poor service. The place itself is very beautiful, but the service was not good at all. When we arrived, we felt rushed throughout the meal. After finishing our main course, we were left with dirty plates on the table for more than 20 minutes. No one came to ask if we would like dessert, even though it was already included in the menu. We could clearly see that some of the waitresses noticed us but chose to attend to a nearby table that had actually arrived after us. In the end, we had to get up and leave without enjoying the dessert that was included. For me, the dessert was especially important because I wanted to put a candle on it for my daughter’s birthday. Sadly, this ruined what was meant to be a special moment.

Well what I can I say. Unfortunately we were 20 minutes late for our table , should have been 8pm and arrived 8:20. Waiter (she/her) advised us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes and as we were late we had better order. The attitude was dreadful but we duly ordered. The restaurant was relatively quiet yet food was still being served. Food continued to be served well after 8:30, and after we had eaten. People were also arriving after 8:30. The waiter was just rude and abrupt and not interested. The food to be fair was very good, pizza and pasta tasted nice. Due to the terrible service we only had one drink and decided against a desert. Didn’t want to spend any more money here. Shame but the service and attitude ruined the meal.

My three guests enjoyed their food immensely. However, when I ordered steak Diane, the sauce was as runny as the water out your tap. Steak was perfectly cooked, and the sauce ruined my meal. Steak Diane sauce should be thick and creamy, I have eaten it countless times. The staff that I had interactions with were amazing, very professional, young ladies. The restaurant had a good ambience. The chef let this restaurant down.

Specifically researched this place and drove all the way from Carlise only to be told they wouldn’t serve us at 1.25pm ( website says open till 2pm) The place was empty. Shame! A bad first impression 🙄

Just had Christmas meal. Was over priced and poor quality food £30 and you only get one potato. Pathetic
