I asked the lady in the front counter if I'm able to pay with my Taco Palenque app. she didn't know so she got the manager .manager said they weren't accepting it due to the change on the app. So he gave me my order for the inconvenience I wasn't expecting that I like to say thank you to the management team and staff and the food was great as well

It’s on the way home from Laredo cafeteria style Mexican food that is always flavorful. It does get a little hectic when the buses show up, but the staff does a great job at getting everyone’s food in a timely manner.

I was so hungry this morning that I decided to eat at our local Taco Palenque in Cotulla Texas. I usually do not have time to eat out so I ordered a breakfast plate this Sunday morning, only to find out that it was one of the most delicious meals I have had in a long time at a great price. The local staff has a great attitude. The gentleman who works there by the name of Mr. Saucedo was very kind and made my experience a warm and welcoming one. His smile and attitude are a great asset to that particular restaurant. KEEP IT UP !!!!!! -Andy

We had a large group at Taco Palenque - Cotulla after church last night and the accommodations were great. All of our food was passed out all at once so that we were able to enjoy the meal together and the manager made sure several times that we were good and had all our meals correct. Not to mention, the food is always delicious. Thanks again!

I am a truck driver. And I was doing my reset on a Sunday in Cotulla. First I went to the blue steer truck wash and received excellent service, good pricing, and helpful local information. Defintiely recommend. 10/10 The worker told me that Lowe’s market has groceries and truck parking. So that’s where I went. There was an awesome selection of multicultural foods and patient local staff. I do Recommend this store. 10/10 I once again received some local help and asked the cashier for some advice as to where I could go eat. I had already looked on google and found almost everywhere to be closed on Sunday. The manager of Lowe’s market told me that Taco Palenque has excellent food and truck parking. I can say nothing besides “impressive”. When I got to taco palenque, there were 4 charter buses in the parking lot. The parking lot was set up for trucks which is very helpful so parking room wasn’t a problem. However there were well over 100 people inside the building when I got parked. I walked in thinking this would take forever and that the quality would be poor due to so many people there. How wrong I was. Taco palenque impressed the heck out of me with the speed of service, quality of food, and surprisingly cleanliness. Recommend to anyone. 10/10

Has large truck parking,good food and quick friendly service. Nice selection of salsa and pico at a self serve bar. Got the sirloin street tacos. Was a little disappointed in the size they were tiny. But good flavor and not burnt or over cooked.

While traveling to Laredo TX during our Girls trip, we stopped at Taco Palenque in Cotulla Texas. Each items looked delicious. Mr. Sr. Gamboa (manager) recommended that we try the coyote combo which came with a Spurs cup 🥤 😀. So we tried it. OMG it's a large Beef fajita Burrito with beans,rice,cheese, lettuce, avocado sauce and an Anaheim pepper strip. On the side we had chips and queso.for dessert Mr.Juan Saucedo recommended we try the cheesecake and chocolate cake, so we got both to go due to we was full from the coyote combo. Thank you Mr. Sr. Gambia and Mr. Juan Saucedo and crew. We really enjoyed ourselves. It's a must go to restaurant in Cotulla Texas.

I'm very picky with my TexMex, and this place did everything right. The tortillas weren't cheap Walmart food, the sirloin meat is high quality, and the Refried Beans were amazing. They didn't look and taste like "chunky mashed potatoes", (if you're unlucky enough to know what I mean). One of the things I truly appreciated was the ample parking, which easily accommodates RVs, trailers, and regular vehicles a big plus for those on the road. The restaurant itself is large and open, with plenty of tables, so finding a seat is rarely an issue, even during busy hours. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a staff that’s incredibly kind, helpful, and proudly Hispanic/Mexican. You can feel the authenticity and warmth the moment you walk in. While there’s no kids’ play area, the lively environment and generous seating make it a comfortable place for families and groups. The only downside was the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which could use some attention. It’s understandable given the high volume of visitors, but I do believe this could be improved with someone assigned specifically to keep the restrooms maintained throughout the day. Despite that, I’m giving Taco Palenque in Cotulla a full 5 stars. The hospitality, space, and overall experience were more than enough to make up for that one detail. Yes, I recommend it, and yes, I would absolutely return.

This location is very clean, the staff is friendly and the food came out quickly despite us going during a busy time. The food was delicious as well, my kids even enjoyed it. The only downside is how expensive it is, especially for fast food. We fed 3 kids and 2 adults and spent $100. That’s nuts.

Good food, good portion, Good price. I think it's hard to keep tables clean when patrons come and go by the bus loads. So there is quite a constant rotation. But my table was a bit messy. And ofcourse. Screaming kids from other patrons. I hate kids.

Food is good when you get the correct order. Past 2 times I’ve been my order was wrong and it was too busy to wait for it to get corrected. The parking lot appears to double as a bus station so this location has been extremely busy each time I’ve been.

I love taco palenque, this almost "in the middle of nowhere" perfect place with delicious food, fast dishes and great salsas are a favorite. The only downside is the bus stop, it gets crowded a little bit.

Stopped by after a long day in the oilfields. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. I’m a fan of the pirata taco. The have a nice chip and salsa bar. Also, self serve fountain drinks which is a plus. Another added bonus is they have Pibb instead of Dr.Pepper. This establishment however could be a little more clean.

It is what it is. Usually quality sirloin fajitas. I come thru 4 times a year and when I'm in Laredo asking the locals the best place for fajitas they all say the same thing. Taco Palenque. Wanted one more plate while heading north back home and stopped here at this location. It was very busy as it had three buses parked here also, but they got everything out quickly. I don't really agree that that is a serving for two as I could eat that serving of meat by myself. It's still high quality sirloin and I've never got a piece of bad meat or gristle. I like their flower tortillas and the dark medium hot sauce. Atmosphere is what it is, extremely busy clean your own table scarf down your food and roll on. If you want atmosphere go to Palenque grill.

Only complaint was the $9 margarita was about 90% crushed ice, very little liquid to drink- you might consider it a rip off. Large and spacious seating area.

We normally don't eat here but we were pretty hungry. The food was good but pricey for simple Mexican food. Omnibus makes this a regular stop for people to eat so it can get packed at times. I'm surprised that several of the bathroom latches don't lock and it still hasn't been fixed.

I absolutely love the food from here, but unfortunately my experiences are consistently marred with lengthy wait times. Whether I walk in, drive-thru, or order through the app (my latest attempt) I am subjected to waiting longer than necessary compared to other taco establishments. I understand that quality food takes longer preparation but it is ridiculous when it is on a consistent basis and there is no inordinate amount of customers. Unfortunately I have to really consider picking up food from here unless I have to time to spare.

Food is good if they get your order right. If you add extras to the original menu item they never put it on. They also rarely can hear me when I do drive through. It is the only place in cotulla that has an indoor playground which is great for the kids

"It's fine." That's the best way to describe my experience at Taco Palenque. The food was exactly what you'd expect from a fast-food chain. My casero tacos was ok, but nothing was particularly memorable or stood out from a similar item I could get anywhere else. The service was efficient, and the person at the counter was polite, but it was all very transactional. The place was clean, which is always a plus, but the atmosphere was a bit sterile. It's a perfectly acceptable option if you need a quick, no-frills meal, but don't go out of your way for it. Also, make sure yo don't go during the bus schedule(buses stop there and gets pack and nearly impossible to order on time if you are in a hurry).

It's pricy but if you have a hunkering for Mexican food it might be worth your while.

This is my first time here. The food is great. The tortillas are NOT. But I still ate them anyways,, food is food. I’m glad though they have Big Truck parking for us truck drivers. I’m a Truck Driver of 27 years, I’ve been to dozens and dozens of restaurants over the years and in different states. This restaurant by far does have GREAT Coffee! But the tortillas on the other hand,, not so good. A wide variety of sauces as well,, very good on that. That’s my review and thank the employees for the service. 💯👍🏼

Food is sometimes good, but they tend to get some orders wrong, especially in drive thru. Some employees have been rude not sure if they have problems seperating work with personal issues, flies are everywhere all the time. If you see a lot of Buses just look for another place to eat not the cleanest restaurant either.

I guess this is a popular bus stop area for people coming in and out of Mexico because there was several buses parked including ours? The prices of the food is very expensive. You can order by standing in line or you can order on the kiosk after you place your order on the kiosk you get a number and they bring it to you. Food flavor is about a 3 with no much flavor, but it is like I said very expensive I ordered a fajita taco and it was tiny and it was about $7.99 sad to say it was not worth it. Better yet there is a Chicken spot directly on the side of the street of this taco place which is where I should have gone to for a better deal and if your smart you do just that.

The lady/manager was rude and lacked people skills. After waiting for 5 minutes to place my order, we asked for someone if aomeone could take our order, she comea over rolls her eyes.

Yesterday i ordered rice and it was stale as well. I called multiple times to see if I could go back in a few hours to have them made fresh. No answer. I always get crispy tacos at Taco Palenque, but when I drove through Cotulla, I stopped by this location, and the girl working the drive-thru told me they didn't have any, so I left empty handed. Also, when I had driven by a few days before, heading to Laredo, I noticed the inside of the restaurant was filthy, especially the restrooms! Two thumbs down at this location!

Kinda sad when you pull up to order food and the staff is outside playing with the trash instead of taking orders and looking directly at you and laughing while they continue playing around. Mind you the person wearing the headset was one of the employees playing around out back. Sat at the drive thru menu hoping someone else would atleast take my order but nope, sat for 5 minutes so they could finish playing around before deciding to help customers. There's not a whole lot of choices to eat in this town but I'm pretty sure I won't be back after this experience. Plus once I ordered it was almost another 10 minutes before I got my food. Some people are actually trying to get to work and wanting to grab something to eat along the way. So as long as you have plenty of time without chancing being late and don't mind employees playing around knowing you are there without acknowledging you. Then this place might be right for you. I know when I come back I will definitely be searching for a different restaurant.

First off, the food for what you get is over the top expensive...the quality was poor at best. Had chicken "street tacos" bones in almost every bite and they were very small which doesn't matter because I couldn't even eat the horrible so called "tortillas"... I'll never stop here again or another location and recommend others to avoid this place All the trash bins were stuffed full and the floor was dirty with trash under most tables ... Total waste of my time and money....

The drive thru cashier was very polite and courteous. The food was not good at all. By that I mean, it’s ridiculous to think you pay a high amount for the beef fajita piratas but to only get two tacos with minimum meat is terribly upsetting. Get it together and you should be ashamed of skimping on meat with those prices. I don’t mind paying if it’s worth it and this meal was not worth it at all. Shane in whoever made them and poor training on the stores fault. Why oh why do you do this to a to go customer.

I'm going to complain to management and corporate because they totally have gotten our orders wrong twice now and the quality of food late at night was just terrible experience and a rip off..... Daytime is usually ok but we wasted 60 bucks here at night late and got completely ripped off and got old food that wasn't made fresh and barely had any meat at all......my husband is a CDL truck driver and we have to just throw the food away when it's bad because we can't turn around and go back with two huge sandboxes on tow and we have to get to the mine to deliver this Frac sand. Also the employees barely spoke English and they don't even know how to use their own app or help a customer........ extremely dissatisfied with out last 2 orders and they ripped us off horribly.

Took forever on drive through as I only ordered six piratas tacos and four casero tacos but when we got them they were not the same as they usually are, bean, cheese and one piece of fajitas ( Very small portions ). Very disappointing to see these tacos when we got to work.

How do you order a CHICKEN burrito and receive it with beef and what looks like also pork added? I dont eat pork. Waste of $11 and my time. 👎👎👎👎👎

I don't even know where to begin. First of all they could hear me through the speaker. No problem, I pull up to the window as requested . Then I had to repeat my oder over 3 times due misunderstanding. Finally they get my order wrong. I'm keeping it short due to time but it was disappointing as a long time customer.

Stopped by for a late lunch, had to wait in line to order. The food is too pricey for the portion sizes and not much of a flavor. The dinning area is dirty and seems to always be dirty when I've walked in for a meal.

Look, I know there aren’t a lot of food options in the area. But please don’t choose this one. The horchata was sour and the steak on the quesadilla tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week. They didn’t give us the burrito we ordered, the tacos were extremely dry, and the cashier was really rude. Taco Bell is Michelin level compared to this.

Ordered on kiosk never got a drink Had to wait in line just to get a drink.. Got tired of waiting. Paid $3 for an item I never received. Its a shame employees won't do their jobs. Food wasn't even bad. I live too far away to give them a second chance.
