I was going to write a review about this particular location a few weeks ago, but I'm glad I waited. I have been here a few times and the service and food was questionable. Came in today and it's like day and night! Way faster service, good food, clean restaurant. Great job to the new management and staff. Just look at the difference in presentation.

Clean kitchen, friendly and helpful staff, and I can always get customized food to fit my dietary needs. They seem understaffed (as of Aug 2022), but are handling it really well.
Great fast food place. So so clean and staff were really friendly in a genuine way.
We got refried beans chalupa and they were extraordinary with the fire sauce. This place can be a good vegetarian place.
Very pleased with my visit to this location. So much variety and quick to attend any and all customers
Amazing food and service, especially with it being later in the evening.
Their fast at drive thru and you get your order right. You don't have to beg for napkins and and sauces. I really like this little place, their CLEAN bathrooms always clean
It's Taco Bell, but some are better than others. This one is better. Drive-thru guy doesn't have to call me "Boss" & Bossman" at the end if every statement made. Annoying!
Food was about what you'd expect of taco bell, meaning delicious. Also, the lady at the drive-thru is really nice, she was very patient, and even gave me a free sample of a drink that I had been asking questions about! Will definitely be back again.
This location has had ups and downs but for sure the management and staff are doing a great job currently! My family ordered 19 items tonight w several special requests, we got our order promptly and it was all as requested… Abel was our cashier, he was very friendly and attentive.
The manager of this place deserves so much credit. She never has enough employees working and so often the drive thru is closed because of it, but she’s super nice to everyone who comes in and it is so appreciated. Tonight we only waited about 5-7 minutes for our food with just her and 1 other employee working. We all know what it is like to feel over worked and understaffed - you are doing amazing✨✨
I had a few bad experiences in the past but we have to understand. They try there best to keep up with the orders and customers. With only 2 or 3 employees. in the past 2 months I have no complains. Thank you taco bell and keep doing better like only you know..
Angel working the drive through made our experience. His hospitality was cheerful and professional. I’ll come back just because of him.
While this location has been working through challenges with the dining room closed occasionally, the team is always friendly, helpful, and professional. My food has always been hot and fresh and my order has always been accurate! This Taco Bell team is awesome!
My experience was good, June 2025. I ordered on the app, about 7 minutes after I ordered the food was already ready. The dinning area was immaculate and an employee was wiping down tables at the time I was there. The food was great compared to other locations. I normally get 3 pieces of diced tomato on my Supreme items, but they had plenty on my items.
Clean, up to date, and easy service. Good portions on food
The first drive-thru Taco Bell order in the last 12+ I've had to get my modified order correct. Arrived close to 11:45pm, and ordered a vegan rendition of their Black Bean Crunch Wrap, as I have at dozens of locations beforehand. This was the first location in ages to get it right first time. Whoever was working the window the late night of 8/29/24 did a fantastic job of clarification for specifics, knowing the menu details of individual items, and making the experience feel personal. They did a great job of making me feel as if I can continue to return to the location in the future.
best Taco Bell I been to??? crazy fast and everyone brought the energy
Chloe was super kind and professional at the drive-thru. I used to be a trainer at In-N-Out, so I know great customer service when I see it, and Chloe has it naturally. She suggested an upgrade to a meal that made total sense and explained everything so clearly. It was a really great experience—thanks, Chloe!

Super yummy food. It will probably kill me though. Haha. I did have to walk through the drive through because only the drive through was open and I mobile ordered. It was so funny. It was a fun experience but a bit of an inconvenience. Thanks anyway for the yummy food Taco Bell team! I will return eventually. I don’t have Taco Bell that often but when I do it is always yummy.
The service is quick and the restaurant has very polite staff, sometimes you will get mix ups in your food like the wrong taco shell or getting a supreme when you didn’t ask for one, but otherwise it is great
Standard Taco Bell food, and the only complaint I have is the restaurant looked completely closed when I went. The lights on the menu were not turned on (this was about 8pm so dark) and I didn't know if the place was open until I got to the drive thru (dining room closed due to Covid-19) and said "hello are you open?" They were, so I ordered and received standard Taco Bell food.
It was an ok meal. We went in and sat down. It took a while for the food to come. Nice thing is they were very accommodating as we do not eat meat and they made special orders for us. We have not been to a Taco Bell in a long time and it was nice to see they are changing with the times too. Portions seemed a bit small but so was the cost.
This is a good Taco Bell. They have the ordering process set up, so you don't really interact with the staff too often. I asked about my order & the person helping me looked a little lost in his own mind. It was not a big deal. He was nice, although not very tuned into what was happening in the restaurant. Like any Taco Bell or fast food chain, I don't have huge expectations regarding customer service. It is also most likely because everything is processed using mobile orders & kiosks. That said, the food is delicious and fresh. It is pretty busy at this location at times, but they are quick. They were out of mild sauce last time I visited, but they don't charge for up to 15 packets, so I am giving them a pass on that. As far as Taco Bell goes, this location is as good as any location, if not better. Cheers!!
The drive-thru was adequate. The person manning the drive-thru was friendly. The drive-thru line is a little slow in general, but they are also fairly popular because there are limited late night options in that area.

They always close the lobby well before the posted time. Call me old fashioned but I like to sit and eat my food at a table, even if it’s Taco Bell. It’s 9:45 and it’s dark inside with people in drive through. Sign says dining room is open until 10. Come on guys

We go here for our taco Tuesday and the great 50s music. It's inexpensive and standard Taco Bell food, But they seem to be having a staffing problem! Even at noon time there might be only three people working! A couple of times they only had two, one cooking and one to handle to drive through and front. Not good! We love going here because it is right next to Trader Joes.
It's an old taco bell. No condiments out. Manager hogging the only table in the sun, and the only high table. Slow service for grab and go. Others got food much faster.
They got my order wrong. They were missing three items, which in itself isn't such a big deal, but when I asked for what I paid for, they got put out, rude, and still didn't get it right. I gave up. I'm not going back to this one. CHECK YOUR ORDER!!! The positive is that it is clean and the food that I was able to get had a good flavor.
Drive through has been historically decent. I decided to order inside today because of no line inside. Nobody greeted me and no more paying with cash to get around the forced kiosk usage whick btw was unresponsive and took way longer than just ordering with someone familiar with the menu .Nobody ever looked at me the entire 10 minutes I was in there until they had to hand me my food. Also adding lettuce guacamole and chicken makes a bean burrito $7, No Thanks, that's how much I pay to get a good burrito from a real Mexican food place.

I ordered two crunchy tacos today and a medium diet-pepsi only to find out that they were completely out of diet pepsi and pepsi and when eating my tacos one just had a tiny amount of beef in it. The wait in line was very long as well.
No customer service at counter! NON watched me wait for service for along time forced me to use kiosk.wanted to use cash but no one came then called my name and no cup for drink waited again for them to look up finally I got my own
Was not good! The food is not what it used to be at all very tasteless. The new kiosk they have in the lobby when you walk in is Very impersonal They may as well not have workers you can go ahead and put your money in the kiosk
Service is often slow-can take several minutes before someone acknowledges your presence. More than once, the order was made wrong. Dining room has been a mess numerous times I've been here, food particles all over the tables and floor. It looks like they never care about cleaning their dining room.
I just went to this location to pick up a DoorDash order. The employee working made me circle back through the drive-through because I didn’t stop at the order screen. I had already made the mistake of going to the window so she knew my orders name and had me drive back around for no reason. When I asked why she just threw attitude. to top it off they forgot the drink for my order lol… so much for following protocol. Oh and they also don’t know how to answer the phone!
I’m a quite frequent customer to Taco Bell but lately I have noticed any time after 8 there’s a chance the store will be closed because something isn’t t working and usually this doesn’t bother me but if it happens 3 times in a row in less than 2 weeks there’s a problem. Lastly all I would say is sometimes you go there and u get what you want or you go there and realize they closed 3 hours early. Not a Great Taco Bell Overall
As I walked from my car to the Taco Bell, I was very excited because it looked very nice from the outside. Walking in the building, it looked clean, but my opinion was short to change. I was standing at the register for at least 5 minutes for somebody to take my order. Horrible customer service. After i received my drinks, the table I sat was very unclean and the chair had salt on it. I would not recommend this Taco Bell.
Taco Bell is edible. But sometimes I like a crunchy taco or chalupa or crunch wrap. Occasionally I go to McDonald's too. Not often. Every once in a while. I did get lousy service one night here. Too many people and not enough help. One or two workers is not enough staff. It took over 20 minutes to get our fast food.
Dined inside. No one was in the front to take our order. We used the order screens. The place was trashed. Sticky puddles all over the floors and the seats had sticky visible hand prints everywhere. The team was seriously backed up, and the soda station was out of syrup. I won't be returning to this taco bell
Just went into this business and was completely ignored. A guy dressed as a manager waited on the guy in front of me, then went to the drive - thru. I waited almost 5 minutes and no one acknowledged my presence. No "Be right with you" or anything. I went to the bathroom and came back to the counter but still no one said a word. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went next door to The Habit where a cheerful young man greeted me as soon as I opened the door. Needless to say I will continue going to The Habit.
Normally I love Taco Bell. It's my favorite fast food. However, this time I was sorely disappointed. My order was completely wrong; nothing was made right and it was bland. I feel like the kid working there didn't care about his job at all. He would've forgotten my drink if I hadn't stopped him, he didn't offer any napkins or sauces. To everyone else, napkins and sauces were offered but I was singled out for no reason. I don't expect a fine dining experience but the service was terrible at best.
So it's been like 25 years since I have tried taco bell and was like I see all these adds I'm going in. This place has the worst service possible. I stood at the front counter staring at employees for over 7 min and they just stared at me. Then they forgot an item, and when I went and asked I got nothing but attitude like it's my fault...also they didn't give us napkins I could go on and on but it's just a fast food place so no point. I would just recommend not wasting your time coming here at all go anywhere else

I came here on Friday morning and then again after work evening went through drive through and simply asked if they can refill my drink I purchased earlier and I showed my receipt . The old Hispanic lady raised her voice at me and told me she can’t do that in drive through . She needs to be trained or fired … instead of having a attitude and talking down to me she could’ve said “ sir i would be happy to assist you with refill but no through drive through company policy .” Worst customer service ever had at Taco Bell .
You should put if your lobby is closed same way you say your hiring. Your uber eats description doesn't have lobby hours. It's so simple. I park to go in and 4 people get in the drive thru during that time. I hate companies that don't think or care about others. Please contact me to pay me for the time I wasted trying to deliver one of your orders
Since the first moment I Arrived the personal was rude, the tables were really dirty, after a while I was forced to asked for my food and again the personal was yelling my name almost throwing to me my order... I like to see the good things of people and places but this taco bell is a bad one..
I don't know what happened here but took the lid off to find this, this should not acceptable for quality control, how does this even get passed out to a customer with at least a quarter of the portion missing.

It's taco bell. You know what you're signing up for. The service was quick though so kudos to that. It was drive thru this time. The problem I'm having is with the price. I couldn't believe it when he said it and I thought there was a clear and obvious mistake. But the mistake was on me. Should have been paying more attention I guess bc it was correct. Nearly 40 for 2 meals and a cinnamon bon dessert. Sorry but that's never happening again. I'll eat bologna I guess. Can't come back from that one.
The slowest taco bell in the country. I live right down the street and my kids love it but it takes forever. Such a joke. 3 bean and cheese burritos takes 20 minutes in the drive through. Avoid at alm cost!!!
Lmao this place closes at like 6 pm, because they say “they are short staffed”. They put up signs outside their window saying they’re closed, but I can hear workers inside the kitchen laughing and talking. This has been going on for months; them closing whenever they feel like it.
They force you to fill out a survey before giving you your food. You've already paid and you have to leave a review before you get the stuff you paid for?? And on top of that the order is wrong! This has happened multiple times. They make you fill out the survey and then make you feel rushed and unwelcome.
The drive thru lady asked if i cant read the sign when i asked what was in the Nacho Fries Deluxe Box. Awful service, only the cooks tried to talk with some sense. Sucks because i really wanted the try the box
I've been here 3 times, every time the order was incorrect. The most recent order only 1 item was correct out of 6. The mistakes included being the entirely wrong item, and even a burrito with absolutely no meat.
Poor management. Falsely advertised hours. We placed an order online for delivery via doordash at approximately 10:35 pm on Wednesday. At 11:10 we received a phone call saying Taco Bell closed at 11:00. I couldn’t believe it so I called the store myself directly at 11:20. A guy answered and said they closed at 11. When I told him the hours online say they’re open to 12, he said those are their weekend hours. I have worked in the food industry for 6 years and have never closed the store even 5 minutes prior to the posted store hours. So for a huge chain like Taco Bell to do so because business might be a little slow is unacceptable.
The dining area is always closed and you can only oder via drive thru. Frustrating because I work in a busy shopping mall near so I walk so as not to lose my parking spot, I walk. I'm not about to go walk back to my car and lose my spot just to get food. Gahhhh
Gave it a second chance, they failed again unfortunately. Waited 20+ minutes in drive thru. Had to shut my car off cause I’m wasting my gas, can’t leave the line cause someone is behind me. Don’t give out napkins for unknown reason. Very disappointed, needless to say👎
This location is so disappointing! I live right down the street and get off late from work so I try an grab a bean and rice burrito with no cheese and no sauce because I can’t eat dairy... and guess what? The past three times I’ve waisted money and had to throw away my orders due to them having cheese. Customer service as night is horrible as well. Super sad that I’m going to have to go out of my way to another location.
10 minutes waiting in line to get to the order taker, and then we find that their drinks are all not working. Then the Lexus SUV in front of us is just stopped so we can’t even get out.
Waited 45 mins inside to get our order! No one came to take our order when we first got there. We ended up using the kiosk to order. Bad service all the way around!
Sadly got here from work tired and hungry , no customers in the restaurant just me and wait nearly 15 mins to get my order my food. Then took 10 mins to make my food really ridiculous. Then they all look like they hate there job but horrible customer service
First of all this location is the slowest ever i got there they said order on the screen so i do then i go to the cashier to pay then they said what did you order so i had to order again which i did it took 30 min to get my food while waiting a lady from uber eats walks in to get someone elses food and she said the food comes with a drink the cashier hands her a empty cup and said you can get it yourself she said no i can't its not my food its for someone else so he says sometimes you need to do it yourself fills it up with the drink they order and said have a good day as soon as he walked back with the other workers he starts complaining in spanish on how people cant do stuff on there own.Wont recommend this location to no one unless you want to wait 30 min.
I wish I could rate taco bell (all nationally as a whole). I used to be a taco bell fan, but they've systematically removed all the items I liked (beefy crunchy, double-decker taco, grilled stuffed burrito, etc. etc.). I have nothing left to go there for. :(
Witnessed a women who works here scream at a customer because the customer complained that her order was wrong. So unprofessional, would not return whether the food is good or bad.
The slowest drive through in history--yes, really. 45 minutes to process six cars. Stuck in the lane with life seeping away.
Restaurant closes at midnight. Went there at 1140pm with 20 min to spare after a long night and needing some quick food and they wouldn’t serve us!! They waved us away and said they were closed!!!
The slowest taco bell I have ever been to. Drive thrus shouldn't take 20 mins for 4 cars especially when you place a mobile order
Horrible experience. I’ve come here twice each time have been in the drive thru for 20+ minutes I don’t understand why it takes so long for being a drive through restaurant.
I ordered and paid for my food on the app. When I got to the store, 10 minutes later at around 7pm, it was closed. They still took my payment and never refunded it. Shouldn't they close the online ordering if they are closed?
Good when they're actually there, but lately they've been closing hours early. Like I get there 1-2 hrs before sign says they're closed, the "drive thru open" sign is out, but the lights are all out and there's no sign of life. This has happened four times in a row for me over the past 2 weeks Editing review to drop my rating from two stars to one: now this location manages to be open most of the time it claims to be, but they are shower than a snail in molasses. And you can't get out of the drive thru line because you're boxed in by the car behind you. You want to spend 45 mins waiting for food at taco bell? This is the location for you!
Thursday nov 3 at 330 pm I was refused service by a female worker in the drive threw. She said hi are you ready to order? I said a number seven and she couldn’t hear me so I repeated myself several times and then she said you don’t have to be rude about it and I’m not going to serve you. Will report to management. I also recorded the conversation with said worker for proof.
There was one other person in line at the window we pulled up to the speaker, the guy told us he'd be with us in two minutes. We ordered and pulled up straight to the window no other cars in line and waited for a good 15 minutes for our food. The guy in the window was trying to make small talk but we had kids in the car and he was dropping foul words I wouldn't say in front of my children. The wait with no cars in front of us was ridiculous.
Two out of the last three times I've come here they closed early. Nearly two hours before thier posted and advertised times. The first time they gave no explanation as to why, just kept repeating they were closed. The second time, I arrived in the drive through. With no response I sat there for five minutes till they just turned off all the lights. I drove to the window, the woman working there ignored me completely, pretending she wasn't aware that a customer was at the window. I've worked in fast food, I understand if a customer shows up late you might have a limited menu, but the fact that they didn't even engage with me and the three cars behind me shows that they have been doing this habitually and no longer even put the effort in making excuses for closing before posted hours.
Every time I go through the drive thru in the evening there is a 20 minute wait. Tonight I decided to avoid that mess and go inside. 2 employees were working. 2! I went ahead and placed my order since my kids had specifically asked for Taco Bell. 20 minutes later the man who was there before me got so frustrated he asked for a refund. Two other people had waited half hour. It took my order 25 minutes to arrive. Not what I call fast food. Since this is not the first time this has obviously happened, why can't the owner staff more employees? No other fast food restaurant in town seems to have this problem. It might be a while before I dare to attempt to eat here again.
I ordered potato soft tacos because i am vegetarian and i even repeated the order because the screen said something different but the guy said that the screen is broken so i figured it’s fine and then after i laid he didn’t ask if i wanted a receipt and i wanted one because i wanted to check if he got everything right because a lot of times they don’t but i decided not to ask because it’s not a big deal but when I get home i see that they gave me BEEF TACOS and i am so distraught right now because I was really craving potato tacos and now I don’t know what to do because i haven’t eaten any meat in years and eating it really upsets me but I don’t want to waste the food and I really don’t want to go back out and try and fix it and I tried calling and they won’t pick up. I’m not gonna stop eating here because I love taco bell but they’re always messing up my order and this time they really crossed the line. Guys I really wanted these tacos tonight and now i’m having both moral and digestive dilemmas.
The manager is very disrespectful to customers, she yells at them and they tend to mess up your order. They make you use the kiosk instead of the front and get angry when you don’t. Overall the inside is gross and dirty and they don’t have straws for drinks.
On Wednesday, Oct 12, '22, around 6:30pm, I ordered dinner at this Encinitas location - Bean Burrito, Rice & Beam Burrito, and Chipotle Chicken Burrito. When I opened my bag at home, I found three hard-shell Tacos. I don't eat that stuff, so I had to trash it. I couldn't go back and demand from them what I ordered, because I didn't want to fight the traffic over a long drive. I called them on the phone to complain. The phone kept ringing10-15 times and then just disconnected me. This happened four times. I was and am furious. Don't go to this location.
Food was edible but will definitely remind me why I do not want to eat lunch at this location ever again. Why order the hot sauces at the self serve deal and still have to ask for the drink and hot sauce. And the machine does not give recipes either. Email or text the recipt what a joke .
If you care about your health, DO NOT EAT HERE! I have been waiting since Monday for Taco Bell corporate to call me to resolve a health and safety issue, and they have not called back. Here's what happened: On Monday, July 27th, I went to this Taco Bell. I waited in the drive-thru lane for about 10 minutes, placed my order and paid, and was told to park in the parking lot and they would bring me my food. So I did exactly that, I parked out front like I was asked. Then the car behind me parked in front of the door, then the car behind that parked behind them, and a bunch of others parked in the lot with us. There were at least 7 vehicles, two that were blocking the fire lane and eventually the drive-thru. After another 10 or so minutes, a young guy came out with people's food, and brought my food to two other cars before bringing it to mine. Apparently he had been asking people to check if it was their order, because that's what he asked me. Most of my food was already opened up and touched by other people. I was in a rush, and headed home, and my wife noted that EVERYTHING had been opened. We are in the midst of a pandemic folks, and I drove 20 minutes home already. We called the store, no joke, over 50 times and no one answered. It just kept ringing, and ringing, and eventually going to busy. This is the number they have listed on their webpage! We didn't eat a morsel of the food, because we have no idea who touched what. This is 100% unacceptable! I've been trying to get my money back and alert Taco Bell corporate, but I have had no success. They were supposed to call me today, because that's the soonest they could schedule me, and I have not heard back from them at all. The last thing we need right now is a COVID breakout at a Taco Bell! Please, for your health and safety, do not go here!
This was the worst experience ive EVER had. Not only was i ignored for about 20 minutes my food order was incorrect. On top of the restroom being dirty with NO seat covers or soap. I only got acknowledged when i left the facility from cold food, hard edge soft taco, added Ingredients That i did NOT request
This place i went to deserves no stars! The entire dining area was filthy, such as the tables chairs walls, salsa, napkin station, everywhere there was finger prints, old food splatter, dead bugs on the window sill, I went to use the ladies room, there was no toilet sheet seat protectors, the stalls and doors were dirty looking and no paper towels to dry your hands with, just the air blower to dry your hands, you think I'm going to touch the door handle with my bare hands and eat a burrito with my bare hands, also I witnessed an employee using the restroom and walking out without washing her hands, how disgusting!!!!the service I received when i 1st walked in to place my order was pathetic, the employees I witnessed showed no interest on they're job, Which showed below average in customer service. This store is being poorly run by management, it shows no good performance by the employees and no cleanliness through out this store.STEP UP YOUR GAME TACO BELL BELL EMPLOYEES!
I’ve encountered employees intentionally keep the lights off so that people think it’s closed, employees claiming they are closed at ridiculous hours to be closed. Extremely unprofessional, lazy, scheming people working here. I wouldn’t trust the food if they served it to me, which is rare. I don’t even try anymore. This place is incredibly mismanaged. I can’t believe corporate allows this representation of their brand. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
I ordered two things and one of them got deleted. I was charged extra for ordering my burrito with no meat. I was charged for the wrong sized cup. Cashier didn't know how to give change and mumbled everything. Someone tried cleaning my table while I was eating. The guy at the table next to me found a hair in his food.
I waited over 25 minutes for my 2 item order, the place was completely messy inside. Absolute joke. Worst encounter I've ever experienced at this fast food establishment.
Unfortunately this place has no management. I dont blame the workers that are left to deal with the register plus the kitchen all at once, alone. Ive worked in the food industry and can say that this place will close down soon if they dont get it together. The food takes 20 minutes to recieve, most of the times the orders are wrong, the food is cold, they close at weird times because "they always run out of something or not enough workers". ALL THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON GOR ABOUT A YEAR. CRAZY.
Quit charging your customers 30¢ for a dribble (not even a full squirt) of green sauce. Nickle and diming me for a sauce that used to be free in a packet is the quickest way to get less customers. I'll drive the extra 5 miles to the location that doesn't charge me for it. If for no other reason but spite and to make a point. I hope that the 30¢ rip-off is worth the money you are losing off the rest of my order. When greed over comes common sense, you lose.
It says they’re supposed to be open until 12AM but my husband went thrift the drive thru at 10:50PM and all the lights were off. The must have decided to close early for no apparent reason. Definitely won’t rely on this place being open late anymore. Will be going somewhere else from now on.
i am going to tell u guys about a terrible experience i had today. makes me tear up by how bad I got treated. first i asked to place two orders and the response i got was “its one order per car”. i asked why and they said in a sassy tone “fine what do you want to order”. i ordered and a few seconds later they said “are you gonna order?” so i did a second time. then one of my orders was chips and they thought i was so weird for asking that and had the rudest attitude ive even had spoken to me. they finally got it and sounded so annoyed with me and speaking to me as if i was below him and didnt know anything. imagine feeling stupid by a taco bell employee. like get a real job.
I went in today at nine and they said the lobby and the drive-through is closed until 10? OK whatever I mean it’s open at eight online. Plus the times I’ve gone they always mess up my order and then it’s like one order per car? I feel like the employees are just making up rules at this point.
Could have been a good review but service was horrible I went back in after spending quite a while in the drive thru to ask for sauce and napkins. I was not even acknowledged then when we got to the beach to eat one item was not on the order because it was not heard and rang in.
Wow ... I won't be back to this one. I have seen great Taco Bell stores, and this isn't one. Staff wouldn't help customers, and insisted on us using the kiosks to order. No problem for me, as I ordered by phone. But the poor older man ... he couldn't figure the kiosk out. I eventually helped him, even as the staff wouldn't. I had to yell at the staff even to get their attention. Food was good, but this sure leaves me thinking I should have chosen the Chick-Fil-A around the corner. Seriously.
Ordered on the taco bell app for dine in. The dining room is closed on a Tuesday at 4:13 pm. I waited in the drive through for 45 minutes for my food. No apology or anything. They seemed confused about my order. I'm not sure what else to say...
They steal your food, call you liars if you call to ask about it, yell at you for doing so and hang up. I think they put your food in someone else’s order that ordered the same thing and pocket the $$. Not the first time this happened!! The rudest staff we have ever come across. Go to any other location if you can help it! Terrible terrible terrible. Our family is die hard Taco Bell fans, but this location will force you to change your mind. Sad.
No lights were on during the middle of the day (~3pm). They rudely prompted us from the window to wait for five minutes because their intercom “wasn’t working”. Then the intercom suddenly resumed working to take order. Was not helpful using navigating in app pre order purchase. Ingredients were skipped or omitted in prepared foods. Will not be returning to this location. Native to north county SD, we haven’t had a pleasant satisfying experience here since 2018. All other Taco Bell locations are no-frill no fuss and always quick and great service.
This is possibly the worst taco bell franchise in the country. It's a great location, and should be making tons of money. I live nearby. and give this place a try once every few months. There's generally only two people visible. The cook may actually have to run your card, the lady that's maybe the manager cant be bothered with customer service or cleanup. I watched her for at least 15 minutes at the drive through window just standing there. The place was a mess. It generally takes 20 min + to get through the drive through, and they close early often I drive by there most nights on my way home. Place is always empty, nobody's stupid enough to return but me and a few other hopefuls.
This Taco Bell has been going downhill for the past few months. But I love their Burrito Supremes and their Mango soft drink. So I continue to go and give them a chance. Once the order clerk didn't know what a Mango drink was. She kept saying it was a soda, not a drink. I've always ordered it as a non carbonated Mango drink in the past, no problem. When I got to the pay window, she argued with me that the choices are Mango Freeze or Mango soda and that there's no Mango drink. Then she slammed the sliding glass window without a "thank you for coming" or a smile. Another time I went here, the soft drink machine wasn't working so no drinks were sold. A month ago, I was told they were having technical difficulties and were not serving at that time. They did apologize. Once I was told at the order kiosk, they don't have enough workers so they are not taking orders unless they are a small order. My order was 2 burrito Supremes and a Mango drink. They said they could do that for me. Who is managing this place?
Charging $2.19 for a single simple taco BEFORE taxes is insane. Used to be worth it for a quick cheap taco, but now you might as well go to a real taqueria.
I arrived in the drive thru 3 minutes before close . I tried to order online ahead of time but the website did not allow online orders for this locations. Immediately the man speaks and asks if I'm picking up and I said no and then he said sorry I can't take your order I know it's not one yet. I explained to him to tried to order online but the app would not let me and he just said sorry I can't take your order. You are open but you won't take my order idk who employs this man but he is literally taking your money sitting out side smoking by his car instead of taking paying customers orders. These late night places are far and few in between and for those of us who work these hours places staying open are important. I will go to the San Marcos location in the future you honestly don't even deserve one star seeing is how you didn't even service me!!!!! I'm so pissed about this tbh I hate Jack in the box and that's my only option and then they were out of the only thing I am willing to eat there.
This place has worst night staff. I ordered food on the app at 12:00 midnight and once I got update on the app that order is ready to pick up I was told to wait in the parking lot for the food. After 15 min I went to the window and staff told that they gave the food to someone else in the parking lot. They refused to refund or replace the food. The staff and his manager were smoking cigarettes in the parking lot between handing out food and seem incoherent when I asked them about my order. Really horrible experience.
Made me wait half an hour longer to get my food because they were challenged by taking cash as opposed to a credit card. Humans are a herd animal like wolves they should travel together and interact with one another. Going to kiosk machinery etc without human interaction is contrary to our species. The digital world is not healthy for humans. It's not going to go away but there needs to be balance. Society is lonely articles all over.
